Why Sri Lanka never became a part of India?
Tumblr media
Hello Friends.
India's southern coast and the closest country Sri Lanka is thousands of years old country of India. And when Sri Lanka declared bankruptcy last year, India was the only country that helped Sri Lanka. And at present, India is standing as a witness to give loan to Sri Lanka from the International Monetary Fund. Because Sri Lanka is collectively and strategically the most important country for India, the distance between Sri Lanka and India is 53 kilometers. While the distance of India's own island group Andaman and Nicobar is 1914 km. This means that Sri Lanka is much closer to India than Andaman and Nicobar. Still Sri Lanka is not a part of India. The reason for this is believed by many that at the time of India's independence in 1947, Sri Lanka was not allowed to join India. That's why many people also believe that the country of Sri Lanka was never a part of India. And not only this, whenever the map of India is shown, then Sri Lanka appears along with it, so what is the reason for this, we will go further. And will also know why Sri Lanka was not a part of India? Why is this Sri Lanka shown in the map of India?
