There’s no baseball team (major or minor league) where I live, so it was definitely a treat getting to watch two different games in two different cities

The Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp are not putting in $30 million into their ballpark, the city is doing that for them
This won’t be a long story. I just see this type of thing on a daily basis, and it always bothers me. In today’s world, when you write a story about changes to a sports team venue, isn’t it vital to find out who is paying for those changes? Why do I see so many articles out there that discuss arena, ballpark, or stadium changes costing taxpayers countless millions yet, the topic of who pays for…

So I was having a conversation with my boyfriend about our city's goofy minor league baseball team name (you know how in Twilight, Bella's stepdad is on the Jacksonville Suns? Yeah, we changed the name to the Jumbo Shrimps, which is objectively hilarious) so I was like "goofy minor league baseballs names is a long held tradition. Like the Florence Yalls or the Hartford Yard Goats" so I decided to look up a list of the funniest minor league baseball teams and guys.... let me introduce you to the most amazing thing.....
The Carolina Disco Turkey:

I am so obsessed with this fucking bird I can't even tell you. I've never had any interest in baseball, I have no connection to Winston-Salem, NC. But I took one look at this bird and became an instant devotee. I immediately purchased a t shirt and plan on buying a hat and a hoodie. He's just so perfect. Flawless. A Disco Turkey! Anyway, everyone meet my new husband, the Disco Turkey.

When delivering the news of Oller's trip to Korea last month,
MLBTR said, "Even though Oller has not succeeded in the big league, there are good reasons to think that he can do well in the KBO league," adding, "He 다파벳슬롯performed well in Triple-A in the 2021-22 season and posted a 2.88 ERA again in the Triple-A team under Miami in the 2024 season. Oler, who was promoted to 넥스트벳우회주소Triple-A for the first time in 2021, recorded four wins, one loss and an earned run average of 2.45 in eight games that year. Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp Under Armour Ladies Midnight Navy Gameday Tech Tee
Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp Under Armour Ladies Midnight Navy Gameday Tech Tee Men still do those things to unattractive women. It’s not like they’re immune from assault and harassment. Being conventionally attractive leads to far better outcomes — medically, economically, socially, there’s just no comparison. Other women treat you different too. It’s not just men. It can definitely come with some unique downsides but it’s more similar to the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp Under Armour Ladies Midnight Navy Gameday Tech Tee using their challenges of “finding it harder to trust people” or “being recognized in public” or “well money can’t buy happiness” — as if to imply they face equal but different obstacles than poor people. They aren’t totally wrong, but objectively speaking their lives are better off by every metric and it’s a bit insulting to suggest otherwise. But this is talking about averages, it doesn’t mean every attractive person has a better life nor does it mean unattractive people can’t be successful, just that studies show it’s far more difficult for people who are not attractive and face the same problems with worse outcomes.

Give Away Nights
As a part of giving back to the fans teams will have give away nights where they give away items related to the team. Some teams get creative with this idea. Here are the five of the give away nights I found.
The Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp had a public domain night where they donned Mickey Mouse uniforms and gave it out to fans in attendance. The reason behind the jersey is promotions director David Ratz wanted to do a Mickey Mouse jersey because the copyright got removed. Thus a public domain night was born for the Jumbo Shrimp.

2. The Altoona Curve celebrated Paul Skenes by having a bobblehead night of Skenes, highlighting his stash calling it a bobblestash. Skenes had a 1.85 era in 34 innings and after being called up he is the front liner for Rookie of the Year and is talked about for the Cy Young.

3. The Richmond Flying Squirrels in honor of National Hotdog Day on July 17 gave away a hotdog scented candle to fans in attendance.

4. The Modesto Nuts had a luau night and give away leis to the fans and the players in the game.
