Like John.  Wants them skilled and capable and all; cares about them and will make the big sacrifices if necessary; has his priorities wayyyy the fuck wrong.  So, they keep bringing up the fact that Eva got shot.  And it's true, she did.  But --- and this is kinda a spoiler, but I've already spoiled it for you in past conversation, so... *shrugs* --- Lydecker has a supervisor at Manticore called Renfro.  And Renfro, later, kills one of Lydecker's "kids."  And it hurts/infuriates/bothers/whatever Lydecker so much that he actively turns his back on Manticore and helps Max/Zach/Logan/et al. start taking the place down.  (Assuming I'm remembering this correctly, but I think I am.)  He helps them break in, blow up the genetic stores that let them clone new soldiers, etc.  He's still around for part of season 2, ish, and he takes out more Manticore personnel (and, eventually, mysteriously disappears… I always figured he died for his betrayal, but I never read the books and don’t fully remember the show, so I don’t know if that’s confirmed/refuted).

Wench: Basically, he's like if you took Azazel and John and smushed them together.  His actions are largely inexcusable, but he does --- again, perversely and unhealthily --- care about them.  He wants them successful and doesn't much care about how he has to train them to get them there, but he still remembers their names, still cares about them, still wants them to be alive.  He pushes them to their limits, but, mostly, not beyond.  (e.g. yeah, that drowning scene was longer than was, per se, comfortable, but he also made sure no one died)  That doesn't rectify his behavior --- you know that I have very little fondness for either Azazel or John --- but it's something to consider.

Jezebel: Yeah I get it! I kinda hate it when they do that with characters, but like it at the same time. Hate, because if the guys bad. I want to not like him…. Not be able to justify him. But I like it cause I’m all about character development and a turn around story

Wench: He's definitely got the whole "Azazel's Chosen Kids" thing going, but it's not a competition; he's just got the weird, unhealthy care and willingness to do whatever it takes thing.  And he's very much like John in the abusive-as-fuck-but-also-distantly-cares thing.  Like, I don't like John --- he's horrible to all of his kids; his priorities are wayyy out of whack, and there are very few things that can be said to excuse his actions --- but I still accept that he cared about them.  It's one of those things that are hard to get; people can care, to some degree, about someone and still be unhealthy for them, you know?  And I think that he, at root, did care.  But a) he cared about revenge more and b) he felt that "keeping them safe" was equated with "caring" and "their only real, basic needs", and that screwed them up irreparably because his version of "being a good father" was not being a good father.  I think (hope) that was coherent… I’m still a bit drained from today, tbh, and I’m not sure I’m expressing myself well.

Ok so for Jack… what if reader is very big on personal space and doesn’t like when people touch her so if she lets someone get physically close to her or hug her it’s very meaningful and means that she has a connection with them. Jack wasn't clueless to the fact you hated your personal space being invaded, it took him a good while to learn it but once he did he knew to respect your boundaries. A lot of your friends knew how much you hated being touched, they'd try and hug you and would be met by an awkward you just standing there. They often teased you about it but you could handle it.

You'd invited your friends round for a little catch up, Jack joining when the topic turned to something he was interested in. He sat beside you on the couch, his hand on your thigh as you leant on his shoulder.

'Oh my god Y/N he is definitely the one if you're letting him touch up on you like that' your friend teased, gesturing to the way you sat with Jack.

Later that evening you were sat waiting for Jack to get into bed when you posed the question that had been on your mind since earlier.

Describe your muses’s light! What makes it unique to them?

Mint-5.

What energies do they use? Void & Arc Light.

What are their opinions on any energies they don’t use? If they use all three, do they have a preference for one of them? Oh, he love, love, LOVES Solar. Probably one of the reasons he liked Tangle and Prose so much at first was because they picked up Solar. Since Mint had trouble regulating temperature, which is particularly bad with the cold since if he gets too warm he can at least cool himself down with Void, he loves cuddling up to a Solar wielder, even if it takes him a while to admit he does need the help and comfort. Plus Solar just feels so nice -- it’s like the delights of a beautiful Autumn day with the sun shining down on all those sunset shades of leaves, but instead it emanates from a person instead.

What does their Light feel like? (warm, cold, welcoming, etc.) Mint uses his Light purposefully to keep people away usually, so at first it is very cold, and has a heavy, unwelcoming feel to it. As soon as you get closer to him though, it’s like a weighted blanket perfectly suited to you whenever he’s around, because he really like enveloping people with his Light to show them they’re safe and protected with him, almost like your own personal Ward of Dawn.

Do they share their Light openly, or keep it to themselves? Mint is very, very good at keeping his true feelings a secret, so while he may seem like he’s sharing his Light fairly openly, it’s usually only whatever he wants you to see.

Are they willing to turn their Light onto another Guardian, with the aim to truly hurt them? Yes. Mint has and still will permanently kill Lightbearers if they hurt his pack, though he does his very best to avoid it. Sometimes Ghosts just made the wrong choice, and he prefers to give them a second chance to either reform their Guardian, or find someone new. But sometimes emotions get the better of him...

Does your muse’s Light present itself in any unique ways? (Anything non-standard that hasn’t been seen in the game like odd supers etc.) Mint uses a lot of combinations of Light, both Hunter stuff and other stuff. He also likes to experiment a lot, figure out new stuff, hence how his Void is able to almost change its state of being. He can use it to drown people, as brutal as that sounds, shit like that. His Arc is a lot more standard, purely because he’s focused his time on the Void instead.

◈ Definitely would scold you if you weren't dressing up the way he wanted or if you made a mistake. He cares about you, he wants you to be perfect.

◈ Of course, let's not forget your browsing history. Thanks to that, he knew what you wanted and you would somehow found gift of the things that you wanted with his name card since he was too shy.

◈ If you accept his gift, he would see it that it was safe to do more. It was safe to invite you to his room to play game or learn programming together.

◈ Ortho was happy that finally his brother made friend, the kid was even more happy when he saw his brother got out from his comfort zone just to see you. He didn’t realized how crazy his brother was for you.

◈ He would even go to ask Vil for tips on how to make someone love him back. But Vil gave him confidence lesson first before that.

◈ Even though you had no problems with his social skills. He, in fact did mind that.

◈ Now, not only he had to worry about people's gaze. he also had to worry about your gaze. What if you didn't want to be with him because of his flaming hair. It's not his fault if you didn't like him, it's the others' fault for seducing you. Then he had just to get rid all of them so he'll be your only choice, afterall it's their fault for being too close to you.

◈ It was easy for him to hack and to get their deepest secret and used it against them. Yes, if any of them tried to tell you through text, he would delete the chat and share their secret to the internet.

◈ Of course, he didn't expect that someone would tell you face to face when he was not around. That person knew that Idia had full control of the technology or phones that they had in hand so it would be safer for him to just tell you directly.

◈ Now that you finally knew about his intention and his madness. You must take an action. You approached Idia just like always, praising him with his technology skills and knowledge, often asked him a thing or two or simply asked him if he could teach you.

◈ He did teach you which was his biggest mistake. You knew very well that even though, he liked you, no, loved you but he would still think of Ortho. He would definitely put his brother first before you.

◈ You were a human in his eyes, a strange human. You didn't have magic and yet you weren't afraid of him, unlike the others who have magic who tend to avoid him except for Leona, because they tend to bicker.

◈ Asked where you had gone to Grimm but only got a letter that was addressed to him. He recognized that handwriting as yours.
