y/n walked up and down the rows of seats as she tidied up after the hockey game.
her father was the coach, so she always stayed later after the games to pick up anything left behind and help her dad with whatever he needed.
she'd bent down to pick up a foam glove that was left. her light blue mini skirt rode up her thighs as she reached down.
nathan, who was taking off his gear in the bench area, had thought everyone including y/n had left.
he'd always see her with her dad during the pre-game pep talks, sometimes she'd sit and watch them at practice, or just cleaning up after everything had been finished.
although the only thing he knew about the girl was her name and father's name, he had the biggest crush on her.
he'd glance over at her in her skirts and lacy tops or tight, soft colored dressed that made him want a taste of every curve on her body. her innocence and naivety made him want him for himself even more.
unknown to him, y/n had a slight thing for him too.
when he'd take off his helmet and his hair would stick to his forehead as he panted. or when he'd take his jersey off after playing and he'd be left in his white tanktop, his mucles shining due to the sweat.
she'd direct her gaze towards him every time she'd watch the team play or practice. seeing him get sweaty and angered out on the ice had to be one of the most attractive things ever.
nathan stood up with his skates and pads in his hands. he walked out of the closed in area and into where the seats were. he glanced around for a sec before his eye's landed on y/n.
she was bent over, picking up things from the floor. her skirt was way up and her pink lacy panties caught his attention.
he was in a state of shock for a moment as he stared at the unaware girl in front of him.
he walked closer, deciding to speak to her.
"hey, y/n. i didn't know you were still here. your dad here still?" nathan spoke in breathy tone, causing y/n to whip around.
"hm? oh, yeah. no, he left a little bit ago but there was still stuff to be cleaned up. you did really good by the way. my dad says you're pretty talented." she gave him a toothy smile as she talked to the brunette.
nathan's grin became wider as those words came out her mouth. "thank you, really."
"yeah, anytime. well, i'll be here for a bit longer, so if you need anything just let me know." she was a very generous person.
generous enough to help with the ache in his pants? no, no, he shouldn't be thinking that stuff.
"will do. nice seeing you." he reciprocated her smile and made his way toward the locker room.
nate immediately yanked his clothes off, tughing his pants off as quick as possible.
he sat on the bench in the locker room as he pulled his boxers down to his ankles. his tip leaked pre-cum, it dripping down his length.
he balled his hand into a fist and began stroking himself. he was so sensitive just his own touch caused him to moan out loudly.
he let a line of drool leave his mouth and onto his dick. "mm, fff-uck, y/n. i- holy shit, keep goin'."
he imagined y/n's mouth on his cock, her throat stuffed and her lips puffy from his length.
y/n finished cleaning the bleachers and made her way towards the garbage can that sat beside the entry to the mens locker room.
she threw away all the trach she'd collected and was getting-ready to leave til' she heard her name being called.
"mm, y/n. jjust like that, yes ma'am."
she tightened her thighs together to keep her mind away from the wetness in between them.
she cracked the door open slightly, nate's head turning the second he heard the creak of the hinges.
"i- i'm sorry, i didn't know you were in here. sorry." her words were rushed as she shut her eyes abruptly.
nathan panicked to get his boxers back on. "no, shit. no, uh, youre good."
"uh, were you calling me?" she asked, her voice unintentionally innocent as she opened her eyes slightly. her eyes went wide at the sight of his dick, fully visible from his boxers, a small wet stain were his tip sat.
"uh, nope. wasn"t callin' ya. must've been like, uh. i dunno." nate's eyes looked everywhere but her as if trying to take away the attention.
y/n let out a soft giggle at the sight of him awkwardly trying to end the damn conversation. "i mean, it's alright. you're not very quiet. do you, uh.. need some help?"
her tone sent aches through his body, his cock pulsing through his underwear. "i-i, i'm sorry? say what now?!"
she chuckled once more at his stuttering voice. "c'mon, just sit back. let me show you."
nate thought he was living one of his own fantasties as he wobbled back onto the bench beneath him.
y/n undid the bow in the back of her shirt and pulled down the skirt she wore with it. she was left in her bra and panties, which she took off slow and seductively.
she now stood naked in front of the brunette boy. nathan's eyes just stared at her as he was frozen and stiff. if you squint, you could see his dick get even harder under his boxers by the second.
she scooted closer to him. "wanna take it off for me?" her voice was low as she played with the waistband of his underwear.
"i-yup." his obedience was so attractive. she knew he'd listen well.
he quickly yanked them off before sitting back on the warm bench.
y/n straddled him, his dick not in her cunt quite just yet. she began sucking on his neck to get him just a bit more excited before finally letting her hips move down onto his soaked cock.
the sound of her dripping pussy and his absolutely messy cock made nate's mind fuzzy.
he let out a loud, guttural moan at the new feeling. "holy fuck, mommy- fuck! i-"
he couldn't even form a coherent sentence just one pump in.
"just relax. i've got you." her words were hushed as she whispered into his ear.
she slowly moved her body up and down his length, going all the way off and back on him each time.
the feeling of her tight cunt on his absolutely aching dick was already too much for him.
"mo-mmy, no, please keep goin'."
y/n couldn't say no to her handsome boy. happily, she obligiged, bouncing herself up and down on his dick.
after only a few minutes, nate was so close. "fffuck, i c-can't no more. pleasepleaseplease."
"nuh uh, you can keep going, be a good boy for mommy , hmm?"
her voice sent him over the edge. he just couldn't anymore. he needed to release and make a mess inside of her.
"pleaseee, i need to. i-i've been good!"
he had behaved and listened fine the whole time. she debated wether or not to let him or have more of her own fun.
she ultimately chose to let him for his benefit. she'd enjoyed teasing the boy enough.
"mhm, go ahead." and almost instantly, he came all inside her. the moan he let out was louder than before as he let his juices release in the girl's pussy.
"good boy." she whispered softly in his ear before she stood up, nate wincing lightly.
"b-but, i didn't get to make you feel good."
"some other time, baby."

Do you have a video game about deadly escape games you enjoy?? what is it!
I'm making a little spreadsheet comparing different "deadly escape games" to one another solely for myself and personal enjoyment, but i'd really like to get some more games to pull from. if you know a game that fits these criteria, leave it in the comments or reblogs!
You must be playing a Game. visual novels with minimal choice elements count as a video game, but they must involve either a) puzzles for the player them self to solve or b) at least some choices for a player to make. basically, the player must have some input to influence the game. (just for this discussion). books, tv shows, and movies will not be counted for this.
There must be a perceived element of Risk regardless of the actual physical harm done to contestants, they must at some point believe that they are at risk of being harmed/killed during the game. so for example, games that are simulations where dying in the game does NOT mean you die in real life still count, so long as the characters don't know it's a simulation, or that they'll survive at the time.
The Characters must be playing a Game. separate from the video game clause, the set up must involve some kind of goal/win condition, regardless of how achieveable or the general presentation of 'this is a deadly game'. often, 'this is the ___death game' will be stated outright, so those are easy ins, but games with like, a general goal/condition that don't state it outright, like maigoen's token system, will also be counted. if you're unsure, throw it in anyway this is a loose guide.
Players must be trying to escape. It's an escape game ranking after all! as long as they are in some kind of location they are trying to leave (hotel, boat, building, underground building, it's usually a building), that counts.
for the most part, jjust go with your gut, if it feels like an escape death game it probably is, and toss it to me anyway im looking for more.
examples: Doesn't count: Witch's heart or Ib element of risk, attempt to escape, is a video game, but the characters in witch's heart aren't playing a game.
Might count, hard to tell: Ayakashi Akashi, World's End Club. Ayakashi Akashi is so short it ends before we can really get into the death parts, so whether game elements or escape elements would be invovled is entirely unknown. World's End Club is entirely something I just need to finish playing, because it diverges from the game early on I'm not sure if i wanna count it, but it is like, a chunk of it so i likely will.
Games already on the list - Danganronpa's 1, 2, V3. - Your Turn to Die - Zero Escape: 999, VLR, and ZTD - Maimaimaigoen - Exit/Corners
lemme know what games you would add to the lsit!!

hello everyone, my name is hazel, welcome to my TedTalk- this is actually going to be a super long post, sorry!! but this is, in my honest opinion, why fall fair suite is actually a really, really good opening song (and is better in every way than uranium suite).
First, to get my bias out of the way, yes, one of the reasons is Jane Doe. Firstly, Jane is probably one of my favorite characters, and i love her- but also!! I might be incredibly stupid, but if im hearing correctly, the scale Jane sings in Fall Fair is the same as the scale she sings after her high notes in TBOJD (the ones after "Oh, my soul" and "Who I am") which is just,,, really cool!! And I love how it ties back into Jane's whole song :) I also personally think her two high notes at the end are meant to represent screaming, just like most people assume for TBOJD!! Im also just glad she's included because SHE DIED IN THE ACCIDENT TOO!! SHES JUST AS IMPORTANT AS EVERYONE ELSE!!
Aside from my,,, obvious bias, lets talk about the song itself!! It starts off very happy! The choir is talking about the fall fair!! Its so fun!! Yippeeeee!! But then Karnak starts talking, and it's like..kind of a punch in the gut even if you know the musical? Like… you hear him call it a eulogy and it's kind of a "haha what,,," and it slowly kind of hits you as it goes on and when he says "the now deceased st. cassian choir" its just. sobbing shaking. i am physically ill. AND TH. THE "i wish to give them a chance to express not what they were perceived to be, but what they dreamt they were." SCREAMING. THAT IS SO SAD.
AND THEN THE MOOD COMPLETELY DROPS (like the rollar coaster haha)??? And it starts with the slow piano music anD THEIR LITTLE SOLOS ACTUALLY KILL ME. I love how everyone gets a part (except jane :( ) and theyre so good and so jjust,,,, they tell their reactions so well in my opinion?? The "I wonder how can this be fair?" part. i am deceased. LIKE ITS LITERALLY A PUN? OR AT LEAST A PLAY ON WORDS?? But also the whole vibe of it is so,,,, hrrgh. And then Jane shows up but shes not there so its this spooky soprano lady singing a spooky scale-
"What a load of friggin' junk! That crusty carnie, clearly drunk! Sue that fair for everything they've got!" "But what's the point of even suing? Dead, we're done, there's no undoing. Nothing left to do except to rot!" JUNDJNFJnjFG THIS PART KILLS ME. I LOVE IT SO MUCH. OCEAN IS SO ANGRY AND LIKE,,, GGRRRR. Ocean is so upset that she died. She didn't want to even get on the ride (more on that later) and now she's dead becausse of it. She died on a roller coaster, of all things, and now she'll never mean anything to anyone and she'll never matter for anything besides her DEATH,,,, she's just going to be remmebered as some hippie's daughter that was in choir and died in a roller coaster accident like DJNjnFJNFFGFNJG im crying.
And then there's the slightly silly part and I KNOW the line "Now i know what YOLO really means" is supposed to be silly but it breaks my HEART. Like, Mischa. Bby. I WISH YOU STAYED ALIVE AND MARRIED THALIA,,, SHE IS REAL IN MY HEART AND THEY LOVED EACH OTHER,,,, but like,, that line hurts so much idk why
ALSO!! The "Life is just a dream" line echoes the progression in "It's just a ride" which is cool!! :D I really like that personally, I think it's a nice little reference tthere :>
Then the next part is in Uranium suite so. :)
BUT THE ROUND AND ROUND PART I PERSONALLY LOVE. AND THEN OCEAN SJNJDJNFJNNJD- THE FACT THAT SHE DIDNT FEEL SAFE ON THE RIDE AND DIDNT WANT TO GO??? IT HURTS ME SO BADLY. LIKE, OCEAN BBY NOOO- I WISH YOUD HAVE LISTENED TO YOUR INTUITION-
And then the way you think it ends, but it doesn't is so cool in my opinion?? And also the "we're never going back" is just. i love it. Then the progression of "but what really happens" is so good?? And Jane coming back in is honestly just,,, i love it. It reallly finishes the sound in my opinion :) i love jane so much and her soprano is so silly!!
Two more things I forgot to include!! First of all, Fall Fair being right before Jane Doe's Entrance is cool because along with Karnak's Dream of Life, it introduces her before she's officially introduced!! Like, "Oh, by the way, here's the mysterious soprano you guys heard earlier!" and I love it :)
ALSO!! Fall Fair Suite is the first song the whole choir sings together, and It's Just a Ride is the last song they all sing together and like,, the fact that they follow a similar motif at one point is like.. a nice little nod and i love it!! This musical you guys,,, they actually thought of EVERYTHING and its so good <3 <3 <3
Thank you all for reading this!! <3 + dont kill me if you like Uranium Suite no hate to it i just think Fall Fair Suite is really really good :)

AAAAAAAaaaaaahg
my classmates are just
how
how do you even
jjust.
I love the way the cute goth girl from my ELA class would talk so passionately about isopods and tarantulas.
I loved the time when the cute nerdy boy taught me about ants because we were both observing an ant hill on the sidewalk.
I loved the time when the annoying cute nerdy boy tried to roast me when we were playing chess together and I ended up winning.
I loved the time when I accidentally said "oh, sorry," while this cute guy I was holding the door for was saying "thank you," because I thought I wasn't holding it open enough and I was in the way, then the guy looked at me kinda confused and worried and held the door open for me instead.
I love that the class clown made an inside joke for our ELA class that will probably last years and none of the new students this upcoming year are even going to know what it means.
I love when I would finish our math sudoku in math class and share the answers with everyone at my table and then we'd all just chat about video games together.
I love how that one girl on the majority of any assignments she had creative freedom with, she chose to make it related to South Park.
I love that in Art Club we all just made an unspoken agreement to all sit on the floor together and draw.
Everyone is just so amazing.
If any of the people I mentioned find this post and realize that it was about them, message me, I like you, we should be friends.

A Mafia Member Who Doesn’t Kill
Tumblr media
Bungou Stray Dogs chapter 88 has made it clear to me just how strong the Akutagawa and Odasaku parallels are. They are both orphans, raised to kill and taught their only value is the strength of their abilities that they use for killing, only to slowly unlearn that behavior over time. They are both characters who value life above everything else. I’m going to explore the connection more in depth, under the cut.
1. Origins
The temptation might be to parallel Oda to Atsushi, and Akutagawa to Dazai. Not only is Akutagawa Dazai’s first and direct disciple, and currently wearing his coat, but Atsushi has always been “the good one” of the pairing. The one obsessed with being good, and saving people in the way Oda was. Oda is also the closest thing Bungou Stray Dogs has to an example of living the life of “a good man” that all the main characters are currently striving for. However, I would say that it’s Akutagawa who parallels Oda’s life far more than Atsushi.
Of course Akutagawa parallels Dazai’s life quite a lot as well.He was recruited by Dazai the same way Dazai was recruited by Mori, wears Dazai’s jacket as his most precious possession, but he shares so much in common with Oda too including his origin.
In their youth they’re both referred to as killers who kill without showing any emotion. They start out completely empty and dead to all feelings inside, because neither of them have experienced anything to give them a reason to value life.
Tumblr media
Fukuzawa suddenly recalled a rumor he had heard about a young redheaded hit man who wielded two pistols, and killed his targets while never showing any emotions. - BSD LN 3
They both kill because they’re strong, and that’s all they’re seen as. Both boys, orphans with nothing else to live for have been gifted with incredibly strong abilities. They kill, they don’t relish in it, they don’t gain anything from it unlike men in positions of power like Mori Ougai because they are ultimately tools, but they kill nonetheless.
“I’ve been working alone as an assassin for as long as I can remember,” he began. “I’ve never wanted friends or a boss... but seeing a martial artist like you compromise your principles to save one of your men... It makes me kinda jealous. He must be the happiest guy in the world to have you as a boss.” - BSD LN 3
They both start killing as a means of survival, because they are both orphans who have no one to care for them and look out for them. However, they also slowly over time begin to kill as a way to demonstrate their worth. Akutagawa was an orphan who lost the small amount of friends he was protecting, Oda had no organization he was working for, no connections their lives are utterly empty except for their strength so they come to understand killing as something that gives their life meaning and value. If only because there is nothing else for them.
However, for both of them killing isn’t enough. It’s merely surviving not living. Which is why no matter how strong they become they both remain empty, and they both feel insufficient, and even jealous of others. Oda is jealous of Fuzukawa’s connection to his subordinate, Akutagawa is jealous of Atsushi who is valued and connected to everyone around him and treated better by Dazai. This jealousy is also a realization that they are missing something in themselves but they don’t know what.
Most skilled hitmen looked down on others as if they were insects. Their eyes were cold and lacked compassion. But this boy’s were different. They weren’t cold or any temperature. They were just empty. Not only was there no compassion or kindness, there was no hate or passion to kill. His eyes were those of a person who had given up on hope and despair - the eyes of a person who had removed himself from emotional things. - BSD LN 3
Both Akutagawa and Oda start at a point where they are killing, not because they enjoy it, or they’re particularly sadistic, or think they are just or right. They kill because it’s the only thing they’re good at. They kill to demonstrate worth.
This kid’s different from the old me. Perhaps he never felt any joy from killing others. He was probably only killing because he had nothing to do. - BSD LN3
This also plays into a fundamental misunderstanding that Atsushi has of Akutagawa. He basically views Akutagawa as a bully who kills people to flaunt his strength in front of others.
Tumblr media
He doesn’t realize that Akutagawa is strong yes, but that’s all he is. He clings to that strength, because he’s been given no other alternative. He hasn’t been given nearly the opportunities that Atsushi has. If there is a difference between Oda and Akutagawa, Akutagawa is noticably angrier, more resentful, but that’s because anger is the first emotion he ever definitely felt.
I feel hatred.  I am no longer a dog. I have become a human being with feelings of my own. -’A Heartless Dog’
Akutagawa and Oda are both boys who lived considerably empty lives, that is until they meet somebody who shows them an alternative and changes their lives forever. Oda and Akutagawa meet someone and from then on they want to find meaning in their lives.
2. An Assassin Who Doesn’t Kill
Tumblr media
Akutagawa kills without hesitance, and yet I would say he’s the only character in the manga who values life as much as Oda does. This might seem like a paradox but both of their characters are built around this paradox. That’s why they become mafia members who do not kill.
Tumblr media
Akutagawa’s response to the old man in the latest chapter seems sassy, but Akutagawa’s never sassy, he’s overly serious and sincere about everything. He’s saying what he really thinks. All people are equally alive. Akutagawa is someone especially aware of the value of life, because in the past his life was treated as something so worthless.
He was not afraid to die. He was thinking perhaps even hell would be a better place to live then here. JJust continuing to live in this state was suffering, after all.
[...]
What’s the point of our lives? He had once asked travelers in their place this equestion. Why Must I go on living?
It’s because they have both lived through the absolute worst circumstances, that they value life more, and go on searching for these answers. Akutagawa equally treats life as worthless (kills people without hesitation) and also values life (tries to give people a reason to live, tries to justify his own life, tries to fight against the idea that someone from the slums lives a meaningless life).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
When Kyouka finds a reason to live even though he’s not the one that gave it to her, he’s genuinely happy for her. Because Akutagawa values life, and wants people to find a meaning in life even though he kills.
Akutagawa is currently on the same path Oda is on. The lines in this scene are vague because they’re meant to apply to both Dazai and Akutagawa. He met a certain person, joined a certain organization, and the hope for death in his eyes vanished.
Tumblr media
Oda gave Dazai reason. Dazai gave Akutagawa reason. Oda was also given reason when he met Natsume. All three continue on with a life of empty killing until an outside force intervenes and teaches them there could be something more to life.
Tumblr media
They both come across someone who tells them that there is more to life than just killing. That they are capable of more than that, and they actually follow through and stop killing. Because, Akutagawa, and Oda deep down respect life. As cruel and heartless as they can be, Akutagawa is also one of the most heartfelt and respectful characters in the series when he opens up.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Akutagawa and Oda are people who understand other people on a level deep down, because they’re genuinely interested in the lives of others. Akutagawa is the only person who thinks about Atushi in a deep way, in ways Atusshi doesn’t even really want to understand himself. Oda is the first person to treat Dazai like a person, behind the genius. They understand, even the ugly parts of people because they don’t really look away from the dark parts of the world, of life, because no one’s experienced life’s cruelty like they have. Oda sees Dazai for who he is, and tells him that helping people probably won’t make him feel good, and that he’ll never feel good, but he should help people anyway because he’s capable of doing good.
Oda is the one who started the journey in an assassin trying to find meaning in life, but he didn’t finish it. In the end Oda’s character arc ends tragically, and his path is half finished. Because, Oda eventually chooses death.
I think a lot of people don’t realize this character flaw of Oda, because he’s usually such a good example, but he chose to kill again, chose to become a martyr to Dazai because he genuinely gave up on living when it became too hard for him again.
“Odasaku...” Dazai said softly. “Forgive me for the absurd wording, but - don’t go. Find something to rely on. Expect good things to happen from here on out. There’s gotta be something...” - BSD, Osamu Dazai and the Dark Era
Oda died because of tragic circumstances yes, but Oda also dies because he chose death. He chose the escape. He chose the easier path. There were still people that needed him even after he lost the orphans, people like Dazai, and Akutagawa who were orphans in need of help as well and Oda chose to let go of them.
Oda gave up on his attempt to find meaning in life, because the best way to find meaning in life is simply by living it.
‘People live to say themselves, it’s something they realize right before they die, eh?’ - BSD, Osasmu Dazai and the Dark Era
Oda chooses to die for the sake of someone else, rather than living for himself. While that’s a tragic choice it’s also a bad choice with consequences, because now there’s nobody around to help Dazai and Akutagawa who also appeared in light novel two and who both needed him to some extent.
In that sense Akutagawa can be stronger than Oda. Their lives are parallels but they’re also exact opposites. Akutagawa starts out by losing every orphan he was trying to take care of. Oda finishes his life when he loses the orphans who he was trying to raise and protect.
The choice they make in those moemnts is the opposite ones. Akutagawa tries to choose simply revenge at first the exact same way as Oda did, but when he meets Dazai he realizes there was something he wanted even more than revenge.
The question resounded in Akutagawa’s heart, and a single answer floated to the surface. Something he qished for. His heart’s desire.  The lowest of the low. In a world that was the lowest of the low, it was a wih that could never possibly be granted.  Akuagawa had to force the words out of his dry, trembling throat. “I want to find a reason... a meaning to my life.” - SHORT STORY A HEARTLESS DOG
Akutagawa wants to live for himself, stronger than even Oda did. Whereas, Oda stops wanting everything.
Dazai paused before continuing. “I would be able to find something - a reason to live.”
I looked at him; he looked back at me.
“I wanted to be a novelist.” I said. “I thought I wouldn’t deserve such a life if I killed someone during a mission. That’s why I never killed anyone. But that’s all in the past. There’s only one thing I want now.” - BSD VOLUME 2, Dazai Osamu and the Dark Era
Oda’s words to Dazai to conitnue to live are meaningful, but he’s also a hypocrite to those words. He tells Dazai to live on, when he made the choice to go off and die. While, Akutagawa as dirty, and arduous as his path is, is the one who keeps struggling to live no matter what like a stray dog starving in the streets.
Which is why Akutagawa is the one who is going to finish what Oda started so long ago, and be the true inheritor to his will. Utlimately, I predict, that’s the path his character development and arc are going to take him.

BTS reaction to seeing you being close with Yoongi
Tumblr media
Jin:
Tumblr media
To Jin this would be both adorable and sort of funny since he usually saw you being more cold, quiet and wasn’t used to seeing you show this much affection. Despite this he wouldn’t be able to contain his feels at the sight and e would just take in the sight and enjoy the moment. He would keep this to himself however as he knows that the two of you prefer your privacy.
Yoongi:
Tumblr media
Yoongi himself was surprised that you were being this affection with him but it made him feel warm and happy. It showed him that you were opening up and becoming more comfortable with him. He would hold you close to him and never want to let you go. Not to long after he would finish off with the song you were working on. He would then ask you to stand up as he played another song. This time a romantic, slow melody filled the room and the two of you would dance whilst holding each other close
Hobi:
Tumblr media
Oh this boy would he ecstatic! As he would be used to the two of you being quiet and normall jjust chatting with each other. He had never seen you two this comfortable with each other. To Hobi this would be both adorable and emotional. This boy is emotional and he wouldn’t be able to hold back his happiness. Even though it was just a small moment, to him it would be special and something he would keep a secret as he knew when to stay quiet.
Namjoon:
Tumblr media
He would see the sight and he would stand watching you both until he relaxed what was going on. Namjoon wouldn’t disturb the two of you as he respected the fact that the two of you were sharing a special moment away from everyone else. After a minute or two he would walk off and carry on with whatever he was doing. But he would mention to the two of you that he liked the song, he wouldn’t mention what he saw though.
Jimin:
Tumblr media
He would be with Tae and Jungkook, having just finished practicing and calling it a day. They would hear the music and peep into the studio to see who was playing music. When he saw the two of you he had to stop himself from squealing. To him this would be a rare moment and he wouldn’t stop teasing you about it. Lucky for you though, your prince in shining armour was there to save you and Yoongi would make it clear to him that he would prefer for Jimin to be respectful. He would be after this and instead he would start bringing it up as a good thing and he would ask for advice.
Tae:
Tumblr media
On the other hand Tae would make sure that this moment lasted forever. He would whip out his phone and take a few photos before taking a video of the two of you. Tae would stand there as Yoongin played what was the finished song. After the song ended, he would end the video and he would take ten other two and walk off. A few minutes later your phone would go off and you would look to see you received a message from Tae. He had sent you the video, Yoongi saw this and he just smiled and was happy that the other boys were happy for you aswell.
Jungkook:
Tumblr media
He has to stop himself from teasing the two of you. As to him this rare moment was something that shouldn’t be forgotten. Jungkook would instead agree with Tae and Jimin, as they agreed it would stay between them three. Whilst they had a major urge to tease the two of you, they were just happy for their two close friends. In fact, Jungkook would ask Yoongi for advice himself on how to be more comfortable with his girlfriend as it’s a fact that this boy is shy.

I played at Hades and I didn't know that Dusa was aro ! I also thoughts she had crush on Zagreus because of how she acted towards him and how she was presented to the player. I'm not finished the game (jjust reach one way to his mom, then getting Hades's hard list, weapons's appearance and power-up changes and that's all so far) so I don't remember having this conversation with Dusa). But it's interesting to learn that now ! 😊
Tumblr media
It’s Dusa, showing her aro pride!
Hades is a game with a lot of likeable characters, but Dusa has to be the best one, so I wanted to show my appreciation for her. She is just, Extremely Good, and also canon aro, which makes her, like, Double Good.
(Before anyone protests, yes, she is. She has a conversation where Zagreus asks her if she has romantic feelings for anyone, and her answer includes something to the effect of “I don’t like anyone that way, it’s not really my thing?”. This is literally the aromantic equivalent of an allo character explicitly stating what gender(s) they’re into.)
I need to emphasise how big of a deal it is to have a character like Dusa turn out to be aro. For most of her relationship route with Zagreus, it reads every bit like she must have a huge crush on him, with her stammering and frequently running away and having hearts come out of her portrait whenever he talks to her and is nice to her. Zagreus himself is apparently romantically wooing her after a certain point, because he assumes that she feels the same way about him.
And then he eventually goes and actually mentions the romance thing to her, and it turns out she just… doesn’t feel that way about him at all. She never did. That was entirely Zagreus’s assumption (and likely the player’s, too), and it was wrong.
Because sometimes things that look stereotypically obviously romantic just aren’t, actually! Nobody has the right to judge whether a person’s feelings are romantic or not except for that person themselves. A relationship should be defined by the people in it and them alone, not by external amatonormative expectations of what Romance Must Look Like. There is literally always a potential platonic explanation for things, and sometimes - more often that a lot of people tend to think - it’s the correct one.
As they clear up the misunderstanding and agree to stay good friends, Zagreus is presented as having been the one in the wrong for making assumptions, not Dusa for “leading him on” or whatever bullshit. It’s not her fault he assumed incorrectly. This is exactly as it should be and not a sentiment seen nearly enough in, well, anywhere.
Heck, even my firmly anti-amatonormativity aro ass assumed Dusa had a crush at first. Not because I wanted her to or would have ever thought that if she were real, but because I’ve long since begrudgingly accepted that things that are Written That Way in fiction are just obligatory writer shorthand for romance, and it’s never usually allowed to play out in a more nuanced and unexpected way. I cannot stress enough how rare and refreshing it is to have this so completely, unambiguously subverted. I have certain other gripes about how some of the relationships in this game are handled on the amatonormativity front, but Dusa in general is such a delightful breath of fresh air.

HOLY SHIT I THOUGHT I WAS GONNA DIE
So to relax, i listen to ASMR videos. And i found a new one, i had only listened to once before
and its like a creepy, halloween-y Shakespeare being read aloud in a whisper video...
WELL, the video wasn’t loading, so i changed tabs to tumblr
And I forgot i had pushed play on the video
and i forgot i had the video pulled up at all
and when it finally finished loading a few minutes later
it started playing
and all i hear in my headphones is this deep scratching rumbling noise
and i stop, goin ‘what the fuck is that?’ and its like going up my spine, and in my ears and i’m like WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT
and then the whisperer jjust goes “cooooome. (you spirits that tend on mortal thoughts”
and let me tell you, sitting home alone, at night, and suddenly hearing loud scratching and some ghosty sounding lady saying “coooome” right in your fucking ear is really fucking terrifying

Postcards from Snagglepuss: Winona Girls Aren't Quite That Easy
Cruising along on a modest little cruise up the Mississippi towards the Twin Cities as autumn becomes rather obvious ... still rather mild and bright, for the most part ... and even the ordeal of Lock and Dam 6 (if it really was ordeal) managed to become rather easy. After all, Winona was going to be our rendezvous for the evening. But not before the rather long sandwiches we were going to prepare with that deli meat and cheese we brought back in LaCrosse by way of a jog led by Bingo in his Coach Bingo personna--which yours truly, along with the Hair Bear Bunch, were preparing as part of the supper before coming on shore. In fact, I had to cut the loaves of Italian bread in half jjust right, for the sandwiches to have that certain look. Not to mention the meats being piled on rather generously, with the cheese as the crowning touch.
Still, I had to remind Square Bear in particular not to eat some of the deli meat out of the package; such seems to be too easy a habit with them, and I just hope Yogi Bear didn't teach them as much, or even inspire. And as Winona came into sight, it became inherent that we had to further cut the sandwiches up for each of our party.
But that wasn't the half of it: Seems that the ladies' cats from Top Cat's crew, Choo-Choo and Fancy-Fancy, had arranged dates during our shore time, which was bound to last the evening and into the night. And as luck would certainly have it, one of the quasi-Bohemian coffee houses in downtown Winona got word of our presence enough to ask The Banana Splits if they could pull a surprise performance that evening, what with the downtown somewhat seeing some excitement with the collegians being back and being starved for some worthwhile distraction other than beer. Which they were willing to do, even if the gig was essentially paid for by "passing the hat" and selling some tacky-looking T-shirts at the intermission. Not to mention a couple of drinks, probably some Italian sodas.
It wasn't exactly Friday evening, but having the boat secured on the levee for the evening while pretty much everybody was "out and about" made some sense. On the other hand, though, Huckleberry Hound, Clementine and I decided to stick around--as did Loopy DeLoop, deciding to kill thr night over some juice-and-water sparklers as much as conversation about his hobby sugarbush in Quebec's Estrie region, and his fondness for producing soft maple sugar (which, as he explained it, "doesn't mean risking messy bottles when you try to fill them with maple syrup in the worst possible way, or the time wasted just having to wipe the bottles clean and dry"; what's more, "one could easily makr their own maple syrup from maple sugar with the directions I include").
Not even the sunset could have resisted the enchantment of such an evening--which, when all was said and done for Choo-Choo and Fancy-Fancy, may have been anything but: Chooch, ever the sophisto (at least in his mind), couldn't stand the largely working-class bar scene his date thought was more reflective of what Winona was like, and had a mild hangover that he was able to recover from quickly. Fancy-Fancy, for his part, may have tried the bombastic routine evern as his lady love for the night sent for some delivery pizza whose crust tended to cardboard and the sauce overdone, both in quantity ("perhaps a little too much sauce for my taste") and spiciness, but HIS Winona date was somehow surprised that he was on a cruise with the likes of the Hair Bear Bunch and The Banana Splits up the Mississippi; not even a two-litre bottle of Coke ordered alongside the pizza could manage to salvage things, leaving Fancy-Fancy with modest heartburn.
As for the Hair Bear Bunch, what modest crowds were to be had downtown on an otherwise mundane school night seemed unlikely to be startled at the trio's making the bar and coffeehouse rounds, eventually managing some decent cashew chicken at a storefront Chinese eatery downtown ... and their popping into the very coffeehouse whence The Banana Splits were playing a surprise performance, enough to prompt Fleagle, in his natural leadership role, to introduce them: "I almost didn't notice it until we were finishing up the last act ... but the Hair Bear Bunch is IN THE HOUSE! Let's giveit up for Hair ... Square ... and Bubi!" [Modest applause from an equally-modest audience.]
To which Hair Bear responded: "Folks, in case you didn't know this, yours truly--and The Banana Splits, as afre here on the stage--are part of a modest little crew as is spending the night here during a little cruise on the Mississippi River as began yesterday in Harper's Ferry, Iowa, north of McGregor ... and we hope to end such somewhere near the Twin Cities." And Square Bear added: "It hasn't been all that bad weather-wise for the fall up here, and I'm sure you all appreciate our presence here tonight ..."
By midnight, when things got to the point where it seemed everybody got tired enough to get to bed, the river couldn't have been more conducive to sleep after what could have been a difficult night when all was said and done. (Incidentally, The Banana Splits made a total of $236.15 from their appearence, combining sales of kitschy T-shirts and "passing the hat" for tips during intermission. "Not all that bad," Bingo remarked, "at least compared to a few other recent dates.")

I really hope it wasn't (just an experiment)
Chapter 3:
Magnus woke to the scent of coffee and an empty bed, rolling over he came face to face with a cup of the offending beverage and doughnuts on his bed side table. Tucked underneath the cup was a note, which he snatched out scowling. Magnus didn't know why he felt such strong irritation. Had Alec left in the night? That by no means explained the lukewarm coffee, or fluffy doughnuts, because as far as he was concerned, sustenance didn't just keep it self warm. Deciding to pursue the actions of a mature individual, Magnus flung the paper with tremendous disdain, despite there being no one other than the furniture to witness the action and stalked toward his bathroom. Ignoring the paper and his surging irritation. Magnus's eyes clung to the clock as he passed, 6:18. Despite the seemingly nice gesture, Magnus couldn't help but feel like a hooker. Who woke up before six on a sunday anyway? Alec had disappeared and left a note, all that was missing was the cash on his dresser. Granted Magnus hadn't been looking forward to the awkward morning, but he would've thought Alec would have some tact. Huffing in indignation at his tumultuous thoughts, Magnus made his way to the bathroom with renewed purpose. He'd deal with this after a shower.
Fifteen minutes later Magnus sat on his bed with damp hair and the crumpled remains of his fury. He read over Alec's note for the second time, guilt pricking fine holes in his demeanor.
Sorry I had to leave. I swear this isn't the walk of shame. I have work at 6, so I went home to change. Plus, I got you donougts to make up for it. They're from Nightgale, if you dont like them anymore I'll be sure to pay you back for the bad taste ;)
After the thorough examination, Magnus set down the note, feeling slightly wrecked. He reached for a doughnut. It was his favourite, a glazed wholewheat doughnut. Heart fluttering Magnus bit into the delectable treat. The memory that accompanied only succeeded in tearing down the rest of Magnus. He remembered the first time Alec had took him to the cozy diner, they had been dating. Magnus had taken one bite of the doughnut and declared it his usual haunt, since then him and Alec frequented the place everyday after school. Nightingale was at least a 25 minute walk from his place and Magnus firmly closed the door to the sect of his mind that whispered tantalizing notions: He woke up before 5 for you He did it for you. Alec still cares, still remembers. Still knows you despite the years and silences and changes. Barricading such thoughts, Magnus finished the first doughnut, started the second and drank the coffee till the last drop, despite it going cold. All the while ignoring bubbles of joy in his heart.
-------------------------------+
It had been three days since Magnus and Alec had rendezvoused for the lack of a better word, however both went on with their lives tactically avoiding any mention of the night. There was not a wisp of ungainliness, nor any action to build up their friendship on it's dilapidated foundation. Though, regardless of recent events Alec couldn't help but feel a thrum of disappointment. Magnus, Raphael and Simon had gotten close with an exchange student called Ragnor Fell, especially Magnus. Alec tried to snuff out the envy as he saw them laughing in the corridors and conspiring in class. He had trouble shirking of the petulant chorus of: it should be me. Alec had his own acquaintances and friends. He also had no reservations of kindling their romance, but had thought Magnus would at least try to make up for three years of silence. Had thought that night would have meant more than just a release for Magnus. Had thought -
Swearing Alec yanked open his locker. He was acting imbecilic moron, standing here reminiscing of different outcomes and what if's. About how Magnus wouldn't give him the time of day. Disgusted at his own wallowing, Alec flung books into his bag with a vicious ferocity and a scowl to match.
"Someone's in a mood.", whistled Jace, leaning against the subsequent locker with a clanging thump.
" I'm fine.", Alec blew out, running a hand through his hair. He really was oozing an aura of pathetic, if Jace, who was as thick as his textbooks conjoined, could sense something amiss.
"I'm sure the abuse victim would disagree.", Jace snorted, arms crossed, a skeptical expression on his face.
Confused, Alec raised an eyebrow. He wasn't in the mood for Jace's unamusing jibes.
" The locker. Jjust because it has no nerves, doesn't make it acceptable to pummel the thing.", Jace mocked effectively cutting into Alec's irritation. The words echoed of a previous lecture Alec himself had given him. Breathing out a laugh, Alec felt the vice of strain loosen its grip.
"Jace, I caught you pulverising a postbox with a metal pole., just because you were aggravated. This situation is immensely different.", Alec reasoned closing his locker, although he used a noticeably lower amount of force.
"Right, whatever. Thank fuck you didn't see the five around the corner.", Jace muttered, uninterested in his own failings.
" What?", Alec asked, snapping his head towards Jace, " I swear to God, you better be joking.", he said, pinching the bridge of his nose. With Jace you never really could tell which hypothetical incident was a joke and which an anectode. All Alec knew was that each scenario was as outrageous as the next, if not more so.
"Of course I am.", Jace reassured, " Anyway, Izzy said to tell you, family dinner tonight. Don't forget.", he chirped. Jace never chirped, that was more of Simon's forte, so naturally Alec became suspicious. Adding more fuel to the fire, he couldn't help but think Jace's stride contained an additional vigor. Still unsure and somewhat defeated Alec made his way to AP calculus, perhaps he was overreacting, but in Jace's case even evacuation procedures would be basic protocol. Although, It was not as if he could do anything about the postboxes at this moment. He could offer to pay for them, however even Alec saw little merit in admitting vandalism to a government official's assistant. Hence, Alec simply went to class, turning his back on the memories that hung like ghastly cobwebs in the harsh lighting of the college corridor. Memories that would leave remnants of silk too fine, to perhaps ever remove.
-------------------------------+
Only after Alec had sat down did he take note of the minority of students in attendance. Besides a curly haired girl who's fashion sense could rival Isabel's, Alec happened to be the only other individual present. She seemed to radiate a cloud of hostility, yet Alec found her to be intriguing, if not pleasant. The girl had been been a sagacious partner, the few times Alec had been paired with her. An intelligent figure who could hold an interesting conversation. "Staring at Maia? I though you were past the finding an efficacious beard phase", came Magnus's teasing voice, drawing Maia's attention as well as Alec's. Despite his easy tone Alec felt a twinge of shame, as he recalled how adamant he had been in hiding their previous relationship.
Unable to decide if it was truly a jab, Alec played it safe and brushed off Magnus, addressing Maia in his stead, " Sorry long day. I was just thinking that regardless of your intelligence and pleasant fashion sense, my sister and you are two humans best not acquainted. ". This compliment was delivered in the form of an observation, as if he was merely cataloging the number of lexis in his assignment. The lopsided grin and unassuming tenor of his comment, earned a soft laugh from Maia. Alec could be quiet charming without the pomp and swagger of the usual stereotypes encompassing the male population.
"You know, if anyone other than you said that, gay, or not. I would have shown him just how extended my vocabulary can be, but seeing as its you. Thanks.", she responded, her brown eyes shining with amusement. It seems Alec's comment had indirectly insulted Maia, because he recognised that particular brand of humour from Isabel's own reactions to varying "helpful" comments Alec had bestowed upon her.;
" I dont know if I should be honoured, or offended. The boys in this school aren't exactly...", he waved his hand in an elaborate gesture, as he trailed off.
Scoffing, Magnus cut in, " First of all darling, I am deeply offended, as I seem to be grouped with the 'boys in this school' category. ", as he took out his notebook. " Secondly, this.", he encompassed, waving his hand in a fashion similar to Alec's, "Is not an adjective.", he deadpanned reminding Alec of another time he had used that tone. A time he did not want to remember in a classroom, in front of other anthropoids generally.
Clearing his throat and willing his cheeks to cool, Alec answered, " Yeah, I know.", his voice coming out scratchier than he intended.
Magnus seemed to have caught the link and looked over with a sly grin, "I - ", he began.
" Okay class, seeing as you're always complaining about how tedious solving exercises are, I devised an activity away from the conventional teaching style for math.", announced Mr. Beamer, successfully cutting of Magnus and looking all too pleased with himself.
Alec, once again, wasn't sure if he was disappointed.
"I would like you to work with your desk partners and create a 3 - d model representing the following topics: Limits and Continuity, Derivatives and Rates of Change, or Integrals and Area, depending on which I assign you. I expect this handed in four weeks from now, with an oral presentation. This will be done in lieu of home work, with the exception of the daily practice questions, of course.", explained the teacher.
" Of course.", mumbled Magnus in annoyance.
"What?", questioned Alec perplexed, under his breath. Eyes still on the board, as to erase any chances of a repeat of the last lesson.
Magnus faced the younger man trying to discern his tone, only to find genuine anticipation on his face. " Of course.", Magnus whispered again, however this time he was significantly amused.
"It'll be an invigorating challenge.", shrugged Alec, noticing a strange expression flit across Magnus's face, before he covered it up with a haughty look.
" Invigorating.", he scoffed, "Who says that?", his tenor seem almost... endearing? But before Alec could question it, Magnus faced forward, concentrating intensely on Mr. Beamer's words.
-------------------------------+
" So, after school, your place?", Magnus asked, as the students piled out. "Oh.", replied Alec surprised, " Um, it'll have to be after work, so 7:30?", he queried, expecting a refusal, as he packed away his supplies.
"Sure, I'll text you when I get there.", the older man answered, unfazed, " Number?". Taking in Alec's mildly shocked expression, he frowned. "What? You thought I was going to dump it on you?"
"Well no, I thought... because - you just, I mean. I assumed.", Alec struggled, unable to form a coherent sentence.
" Wow, Alec.", Magnus snapped, "Way to paint me the jerk.", swinging his bag over his shoulder violently.
" What do you expect me to think?", Alec asked vehemently, "You hook up with me, then dont even look my way twice.".
" Don't make this about that, Alec. Dont be so clingy.", Magnus spat.
Ignoring the way his heart clenched at those words, the younger man seethed, " I'm not making it about anything, Magnus. What is wrong with you? We were friends way before this bullshit. If anything, you're the one projecting.", gaining momentum, Alec plundered ahead.
"This isn't even about sex, its about how you seem to think 15 years of friendship isn't reason enough to even try to be civil. You dont want yo speak to me? Fine. But dont get offended, when I assume that's what you're going to keep doing.", Alec finished breathing heavily and pushed past Magnus. He had not felt fury like this in along time. So completely obliterating and wholly directed at one person, rage seemed to crackle from his very being, as Alec none to pointedly ignored the general school populous. Not looking back once, he stormed his way out of the building. Alec was sick of second guessing himself and around Magnus that's all he seemed to do.
-------------------------------+
After work, Alec had come home to boxes of takeaway and bickering. Currently, sitting here, even as Izzy smacked Jace once again and as Jace exaggerated in his reaction, once again, Alec felt calm. This is what family dinners are supposed to be like, spending time with the ones who understood you, even if they weren't blood related, like Jace.
" If you ask me", said Jace out if the blue, " You give that Magnus guy too much leniency. ", he observed, leaning against the front if the sofa, as he sat on the floor with Alec sitting crossed leg, opposite him. Izzy mirroring his posture had token over the couch, " He was just a kid when Alec got kicked out. There's no need to blame him for what Dad did. ", reasoned Isabel. " And for the love of God, speak after you finish. Nobody needs to see that.", she exclaimed, nose wrinkling in disgust.
"I'm not blaming him, even though he is a jerk. I'm Just saying Alec should be careful.", pointed out Jace, purposefully chewing as loud as he could, baiting Isabel. Alec wondered at his audaciousness, no man would cross Isabel, not with the constant threat of sterility hanging above his head.
" That's rich coming from you.", Alec muttered, he was getting imensely annoyed at being the subject of the conversation, as if he was not present. "Also, I am perfectly capable of taking care of myself. The way you two are going, I'm surprised you don't suit me up in protective gear each time I step out.", Alec replied blandly.
"Exactly Jace and if they do find each other under the sheets, it'll be the matter of two consenting adults.", Isabel quipped, cackling at the glare Alec through in her direction.
" Isabel.", he warned.
"Oh no, Alexander Gideon Lightwood, dont try and deny it. Clary and I saw you dancing with him on Friday night, before you vanished.", taunted Jace from his spot on the floor, " Where, pray tell, did you go?".
"Home.", Alec deadpanned, " We took a cab together.". Beginning to collect the mess he carried on coolly, "Being over him, doesn't mean I'm blind Jace. He was a hot guy who asked me to dance and so I did."
Choosing to sideline Alec's condescending tone Jace rolled his eyes."Looky who grew up.", munched Jace around his food, causing Isabel to finally snap. It was an audible brittle crack.
"Jace, if you don't quit chewing like that. I will rip out your balls and stuff them down your throat.", she sniped sweetly, with all the venom of a mamba. The sugar coating on the words was overtly saturated, hence not the most enticing of delights. It was the tone Isabel reserved for those on death parole and Jace's reflecting expression conveyed as much, this was only to end in casualties and excessive bloodshed.
Stacking the boxes and blatantly ignoring the two, Alec addressed the only responsible one of the pair. " Izzy could you - ", he paused as the bell cut him off. Distractedly, he made his way to the door adjusting the various containers, so he wouldn't drop them. Arms full, but in no danger of dropping the cartons, he opened the door and came face to face with an uncertain looking Magnus. To say it shocked him was a highly exaggerated understatement.
" Um hey. I.. err. I came to apologize, for earlier that is ", admitted Magnus, his eyes seemed to search Alec's for any scraps on how to proceed.
" Oh.", Alec blinked dumbfounded, jarred into action by sound of Magnus's voice. Churlish as it may seem, Alec had not truly believed it to be Magnus, perhaps his obsessive thoughts had conjured up the illusion. "Okay, come inside.", he said gaining control, suddenly closed off.
The way Magnus had acted, had hurt. There was no way Alec would let him swindle his way through an apology. Needing a moment to collect himself, Alex left Magnus standing in the doorway, as he strode in. Throwing away the load in his arms acted as the perfect guise of being in control, he needed to be after his earlier outburst. No matter how deserved, Alec did not lose control like that. Although in conclusion of recent events, he had come to realise, nothing went the way it usually did when Magnus was involved. Try as he might Alec always gave into the urge of bickering back, flirting back. He wanted to push the thing that was Magnus and Alec, Alec and Magnus. He felt an inexplicable need to test the bond, tug at its tether.
" Sorry to cut this short, Izzy, Jace, but I need to get started on a project with Magnus.", Alec spoke nonchalantly, as if they hadn't been talking about him mere seconds ago. Alec didnt know exactly what he was doing, however he certainly appeared self assured, so it was not all in vain.
Jace opened his mouth, no doubt about to retort something witty and disastrous, but Alec's pointed look and Isabel's not so subtle jab had him keeping quiet.
"See you later, brother.", Isabel said, kissing Alec's cheek and ushering Jace out, paying no heed to his disgruntled protests. His best friend was admittedly not apt in making the best life choices. As the door clicked shut and a heavy silence threatened to smother Alec where he stood. Alec abandoned his vigil of the peeling wall paper in the right most corner of his living, turning to face the inevitable. Did he really think he could ignore Magnus after inviting him in? Common sense had indeed learned the procedure in case of an attack of Magnus's presence. Abandon all tasks and abort. Knowing he could delay no longer, Alec shifted, folding his arms in front of his chest, caging his emotions in, or Magnus's out. He wasn't sure of the difference anymore. Not knowing how to proceed, Alec simply waited, holding the gaze an abundantly tense Magnus.
" Look", he said, inhaling sharpy, as if their very friendship rested on his next words, which for all he knew it did, had it not been for Alec's incongruous need for all that was Magnus. "I was a shitcase, I shouldn't have called you clingy. You aren't. Even before that I shouldn't have ignored you.".
His words tumbled over one and another, a desperate apology, an intoxicating plea. Magnus breathed shakily, as Alec continued staring, face absent of any emotion. " After the club, I assumed things would be awkward. I was even prepared for it. But then it wasn't and I thought I was either extremely dense, or you we're ignoring that night.", Magnus continued, a bit hesitant at revealing his vulnerabilities, though he rapidly brushed away Alec's potential objections that crept in the furrow of his brow, the pursing of his lip, the tightening of his stance. "I know you weren't. I had just overthought the situation so much, it seemed like the logical outcome.".
" So there I was consumed by you, while you seemingly went on unaffected.", Magnus conceded, vulnerability creeping into his eyes.
This time Alec did interrupt, " I wasn't unaffected.", he said, frown deepening.
"Clearly", Magnus scoffed, recalling Alec's outburst earlier. Justified, but an outburst all the same.
" All I'm saying is, I'm not trying to make excuses. I didn't set out to hurt you.", he said , frustration present through the shaky hand he ran over his hair and down his face, as if he could wipe away the emotions he was feeling. He would do anything not to lose Alec, but as Magnus poured his heart out, Alec had stood there stoic. Giving no sign if he was succeeding in his efforts. Magnus was incredibly selfish, he had realised even after years of separation, he still wanted Alec as a friend. No matter how much, or how often he told himself that Alec was just another person he had come into contact with, ordinary, he could not believe that lie. There was nothing ordinary about Alexander Lightwood. Magnus's every sense was crowded with Alexander, from his hazel eyes, to raven black hair and pale throat. He had become an obsession, compulsion, Magnus's destuction.
"I know an apology isn't enough, but I'm sorry Alec.", he croaked, voice tainted with shame and a sliver of hope. Hope Alec could snuff with nothing more than a breath.
" Fine, I forgive you.", Alec relented.
"I'll make it up to you.", Magnus said softly, " I'll - . Wait, what?", he wheeled back back confused.
"You didn't think I was going to end our friendship based on one fight, did you?", smirked Alec. "Though you did deserve it.", he said honestly, dropping down on the sofa and flicking on the t.v. As much as Magnus's actions had severed Alec's heart, he knew that whatever pain they caused each other would be forgiven, if they could wield it to forge something stronger. However, never forgotten because an perpetual cycle of repetitive mistakes was not what Alec wanted, not what they both needed, but forgiven they could be.
It was Magnus's turn to stare nonplussed. If he hadn't been so relieved, he would have been furious. "I know.", he laughed quietly, after what seemed like an age, running his hands through his hair. " You are evil darling. My heart felt like it was going to give out, for all the hints you gave me.", he chuckled easing down next to Alec. Though the movement was tender and if you looked close enough, you could see past the veil of nonchalance. Underneath was a river of gratification and disbelief, running through Magnus minutely tense posture, as he inclined back. Through the tenuous upward curl of his lips. Through the flickers his amber orbs.
Clicking on a movie, Alec raised an eyebrow in question. "What about the project?", Magnus frowned, after all that was how this conflict came to be. Magnus was by no means the most dedicated individual, however he gave an adequate amount of significance to his educational pursuits.
Alec shrugged in response, " We have time.", he muttered, whilst burrowing deeper into the couch, causing an involuntary grin to sketch across Magnus's face. And, as the light flickered across Alec's features, illuminating his laughs and frowns, while he criticised the plot, Magnus blamed the speeding of his heart on the earlier fright. Convincing himself it had nothing to do with Alec's easy smiles and casual touches.
