JASON DAY-FUJIWARA is a Japanese-English actor, visual artist, videographer, businessman, and semi-retired model. Born on January 4th, 1997, Jason began his career as a child actor and model in 2004, and his earliest jobs came in the form of Abercrombie campaigns and print advertisements for Burberry and Chloe. His acting debut didn't come until 2005, in which he had a supporting role in a British soap opera. Prior to his breakthrough, Jason became a prominent young TV actor in England, and his popularity led him to a role in the 2011 Disney film, Lemonade Mouth.
In 2014, Jason was one of two co-stars in the film Sister. The film was an international success, and it won him a Young Hollywood Award, a Saturn Award, and even his first Golden Globe. Sister saw recognition at the Academy Awards, and won the GLAAD Media Award for Best Outstanding Film. The film's success catapulted Jason into semi-stardom in the United States, and he found his way into an Emmy-nominated television film later that year. In 2016, however, he would be transformed into an established actor seemingly overnight.
Jason would secure the role of Jess (later Jax) Takeda in Stranger Things, and his character's subsequent popularity turned him into a beloved actor. As a result, he's since achieved roles in major productions such as Squid Game, The Power of the Dog, Dune, Fast X, the Knives Out trilogy, Scream, Mad Max: Furiosa, Succession, Bridgerton, and Shiai—the latter of which garnered him a Best Actor nomination at the 2024 Academy Awards.
In addition to his booming acting career, Jason also has a booming modeling career. In 2013, he signed a contract with IMG Models, and a year later, he was sent to Paris and London to make his Fashion Week debuts. In between 2014 and 2016, he was seen as a rising star within the modeling world, booking shows and campaigns for the likes of Valentino, Alexander Wang, and Louis Vuitton. Jason's career as a model came to a rather abrupt end in 2016, though, when he announced that he would be taking an indefinite hiatus from modeling. The hiatus would thankfully end six years later, when he returned to the runway for Paris Fashion Week in 2022. Now, he's an ambassador for Celine, HermĂšs, Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, and Saint Laurent's "L'Homme" fragrance, and is the first male ambassador for SK-II. Additionally, Jason also happens to be the founder and CEO of Day Media Corp, a gallery and media company, mainly for photography and videography. Founding the company in 2021, it has gone on to be immensely successful.
In 2018, Jason came out as a demiboy, changing his name from Jocelyn Charlene Day to Jason Day-Fujiwara. In his post, he expressed his feelings of gender dysphoria and confusing attraction to women, which he had been feeling for over two years at that point (which was also one of the reasons he decided to step back from modeling). Three years later, he would publicly come out as a transgender man, citing his then-girlfriend for giving him the courage to do so. Since then, Jason has been a staunch activist for the LGBT community and other marginalized groups, regularly speaking at charity events and making frequent appearances at Pride.
In 2019, Jason met his future wife, Aikawa Chouka (also known as Love). Meeting during the table reading before the production of Stranger Things' third season, the two clicked instantly due to their shared Japanese heritage and similar social standing (as Jason's father—Jonathan Day—is the president of the Day Banking Group, while his mother is a wealthy heiress and cast member of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills). Interestingly enough, they also attended the same Swiss private school at the same time, and their mothers were very familiar with each other. They became immensely close over the next two years, to the point where a relationship between their characters on Stranger Things was written in due to their intense chemistry, and by 2021, the internet was beginning to notice just how close they were. Everyone's suspicions were confirmed on Valentine's Day of that year, when both Jason and Chouka confirmed their relationship on Instagram. The world couldn't have been happier, and they've since gone on to become an iconic couple, even tying the knot in 2024. Their lavish Italian wedding has gone down as the "wedding of the decade."
Now, Jason has cemented himself as a beloved celebrity, becoming known as one of the best and most popular actors of the modern age. With his string of iconic roles, activism, booming business, and aesthetically pleasing Instagram feed, it doesn't look like Jason will be going away anytime soon (especially since he's married to Chouka).

'Why I Write' Joan Didion
Let me show you what I mean by pictures in the mind. I began Play It as It Lays just as I have begun each of my novels, with no notion of “character” or “plot” or even “incident.” I had only two pictures in my mind, more about which later, and a technical intention, which was to write a novel so elliptical and fast that it would be over before you noticed it, a novel so fast that it would scarcely exist on the page at all. About the picture: the first was of white space. Empty space. This was clearly the picture that dictated the narrative intention of the book—a book in which anything that happened would happen off the page, a “white” book to which the reader would have to bring his or her own bad dreams—and yet this picture told me no “story,” suggested no situation. The second picture did. This second picture was of something actually witnessed. A young woman with long hair and a short white halter walks through the casino at the Riviera in Las Vegas at one in the morning. She crosses the casino alone and picks up a house telephone. I watch her because I have heard her paged, and recognize her name: she is a minor actress I see around Los Angeles from time to time, in places like Jax and once in a gynaecologist’s office in the Beverly Hills Clinic, but have never met. I know nothing about her. Who is paging her? Why is she here to be paged? How exactly did she come to this?

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: Sparkling Brunch, Therapeutic Confessions, and Friendships on the Rocks - Episode 16 Recap Hello there! Welcome back to our juicy recap of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 13, Episode 16. We had quite the episode this week, titled "Diamond in the Rough," as the ladies indulged in Annemarie's lavish diamond-themed brunch. So, let's dive right in and spill all the tea! We started with Erika meeting her therapist, Dr. Jenn, and boy, did she have a lot on her mind. Reflecting on her past struggles and newfound success with her Las Vegas residency, Erika opened up about feeling scared now that her financial safety net is gone. She also expressed disappointment in her fellow housewives not giving her the support and applause she expected when she won the appeal for her earrings. Dr. Jenn reminded Erika that true friends show their loyalty in tough times. During Sutton and Santos' hangout, Kyle joined them, and the Barcelona trip came up in conversation. Sutton was emotional about letting go of her marriage and had texted her now-ex-husband, Christian, that very morning, bidding him goodbye and good luck. Kyle, on the other hand, shared that she and Mauricio are in therapy together due to their work commitments affecting their relationship. It seems like Kyle wants to feel more prioritized, but hey, it's not easy when Mauricio's busy with The Agency! In the midst of all this, Garcelle was setting up a GoFundMe campaign for Cybersmile, an initiative against cyberbullying. She was proud of her son Jax for standing up against online hate and decided to grant him more freedom. We're excited to see how that turns out for them! Let's not forget Kyle and Mauricio's bonding time at home, discussing their therapy sessions. While Mauricio found them 'fun,' Kyle wasn't exactly laughing during those intense moments. Can we get a break from the serious talks, please? We miss their happy and fun moments together! During Annamarie's luxurious Diamonds and Champagne Brunch for Mother's Day, tensions between her and Crystal were the highlight. There was an incredible spread of delectable food and even a jeweler showcasing a mesmerizing $3.5 million necklace. Talk about opulence! And while Sutton grumbled about the lack of handrails, she seemed ready to party, giving off those tipsy vibes. Meanwhile, Erika, understandably traumatized by jewelry-related issues, opted to browse rather than shop. Smart move, Erika, better safe than sorry! Erika expressed her happiness over Crystal's apology while subtly hinting that some other co-stars should apologize too. Ah, the drama continues! Annemarie took Crystal aside, and they both agreed to disagree and keep moving forward. Surprisingly, Annemarie also wanted the drama to fade away. But hey, the rest of the ladies wanted the inside scoop, so they sent Kyle on a secret spy mission. Little did they know, Crystal and Annemarie had already made amends and were hugging it out. Sorry, ladies, no juicy gossip for you! Tipsy Sutton then spilled the beans about her second date with Steve, sharing an admirably sweet text he sent. Erika hilariously commented about the controversial topic, but Sutton teased that she needs a health certificate before venturing into that territory. Better safe than sorry, right? The discussion took a turn towards Erika feeling let down by the lack of support from her friends during her tough times. She expressed her desire for apologies from certain individuals, but also acknowledged that if they genuinely wanted to apologize, they would've done so already. When Dorit tried to speak up, Erika reminded her of a past incident at a Kathy Hilton's Infamous Dinner Party from Hell, effectively shutting down the conversation. Garcelle stuck to her opinion, standing her ground, but still not wanting Erika to ofall. Sutton, amidst her tipsy state, sincerely apologized to Erika, and Erika appreciated her gesture. Emotions ran high as Erika broke down in tears, and Sutton embraced her, repeating her apology. Kyle chimed in, acknowledging if Erika felt unsupported by her, she was sorry. Erika acknowledged that not everyone will apologize as she wants, but she feels a sense of closure and was grateful for Sutton's apology. Phew! We can finally let go of the earring appeal drama. Next week is the Season 13 finale, and it looks like we'll be getting some insight into what led Kyle and Mauricio's separation. Stay tuned for the grand finale folks!

Top 5 Bravo properties
1. Vanderpump Rules
the crown jewel, the gem, the greatest love of all. this show has raised me and molded me and even when I have hated it I've loved it and it can go on for 1,000 seasons and I'll be there every fucking time. the characters are all Deplorable and funny at the same time, allegiances shift, the drinks look horrific and the food makes people vom on their hands and knees in the middle of the restaurant (allegedly). I can watch it every single day and never get tired of the way these people are monsters to each other and betray each other and all give each other Jax's herpes (ALLEGEDLY) and Still continue to claim they are all Best Friends lol these are the best days of our lives
2. The Real Housewives of New Jersey
this is maybe the one Housewives franchise I can Reasonably argue has never had a bad season. it is Consistently dramatic, hilarious, and darksided starting with Danielle Staub, spiralling down into the neverending and honestly very sad feud between Teresa and Melissa and subsequently her brother Joe, the Manzo's mob family literally being torn apart, Teresa having to go to Federal Prison, "I just can't help myself" *pulls Marge's hair from her head*, and WHATEVER is happening with Kim D. it has Very seldom disappointed me, but it should still be considered A Treat and not rewatched Too much lol
3. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
real ones will remember this was at one point in time the darkest show on TV. we had Kim Richards issues with addiction, Taylor Armstrong's husband abusing her and then sueying, Lisa Vanderpump undergoing a Talented Mr. Ripley situation with her young "houseguest", and ultimately Kyle and Kim's relationship being horrifically tested by Kyle's loyalties to other people and Kim's warped sense of what a sister should be providing for her. pepper in the fact that Camille acted like a terrorist with no consequences and then had her husband leave her in a really public embarrassing way and it's like...it only gets better because then we get Dorit at the end of it all lol. this franchise has had True duds for sesaons but again I have been consistenlty intrigued by its darkness so much so that I tune in every fucking time.
4. The Real Housewives of New York
this franchise is Just camp. it feels weird to say it rarely gets heavy because LuAnn literally got arrested for assaulting an officer of the law, and Bethenny's demonic ex jason used to torture her dog Cookiedabooboo, and i have PTSD from like three separate freindship ending fights on this show, but Ugh. it's so funny lol that's the thing with all these shows, and why i feel Bravo is so Fundamentally misunderstood, because these are deeply sad shows but the women themselves are so funny and resilient and ready to laugh at themselves and their circumstances that people that treat these women like broke jokes are idiots imho.
5. Summer House
it's basically Spongebob in comparison to all this darkness, but it is perennially my fav show on the network because these are people that are kind of my age having dramas that are So relatable while also living together on the weekend and generally acting like Actual friends. special attention must be paid to the COVID season where they literally were all locked in the house together for Months and Lindsay confronted her boyfriend and accused him of never making her sandwiches, and they had that awful anniversary out back by the pool with sad takeout, and amanda and kyle were Not toxic for a season and made me believe in love, and Luke and Carl almost got into a fistfight!!! i love Summer House lol true nonsense.
Honorable Mentions: Shahs of Sunset, Gallery Girls, Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List (!!!!! that show made me who i am today but now you can't find it anywhere)

Everything You Need to Know About 'Scandoval' Ahead of the Vanderpump Rules Season 10 Finale
It’s been a tumultuous yet illuminating two and half months since news first broke of the Vanderpump Rules cheating fiasco—now widely referred to as “Scandoval.”
As season 10 of the Bravo reality series has unfolded, it has revealed that a number of the show’s stars likely knew—or at least suspected—that Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss, the two cast members at the heart of the scandal, were having an illicit relationship. The season has also made clear that Ariana Madix, the true victim of the affair, went to great lengths to defend her then-boyfriend and best friend against any claims that they would betray her—unintentionally throwing others off the scent of a secret they appeared to be catching on to.
TMZ reported on March 3 that Madix and Sandoval had broken up after she discovered the affair. At the time, Vanderpump Rules was a few episodes into airing its 10th season, which was filmed from mid-July through early September of last year. Since that first report, much has emerged about how the seven-month-long liaison between Sandoval and Leviss apparently played out. Now, the season’s updated finale, an episode comprised entirely of footage shot after the news broke, is set to air Wednesday, May 17.
Here’s what you need to know about Scandoval ahead of the Vanderpump Rules season 10 finale.

What is Scandoval?

Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix.
Nicole Weingart—Bravo
A portmanteau of scandal and Sandoval, “Scandoval” almost immediately became the name for the incident, which rocked the world when it was revealed that Tom Sandoval had been cheating on his girlfriend of nine years, Ariana Madix, with one of Ariana’s best friends, Raquel Leviss.
Sandoval has been a series regular on Vanderpump Rules since the show started in 2013 as a spinoff of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills that centered on the young, wannabe-rich-and-famous employees of longtime Housewife Lisa Vanderpump’s West Hollywood restaurant SUR (Sexy Unique Restaurant). Madix joined the show as a recurring cast member in season 2 before becoming a series regular in season 3, while Leviss made guest appearances in season 5 as series regular James Kennedy’s girlfriend before becoming a recurring cast member in season 6, and, finally, a series regular in season 9. There have previously been a number of cheating scandals on Vanderpump Rules, including the infamous Stassi-Jax-Kristen-Tom rectangle of season 2, but never one that fans have considered to be quite so nefarious, underhanded, and despicable.
The initial fallout from Scandoval became pubic knowledge shortly after Madix herself learned of Sandoval’s infidelity, according to what cast members have revealed outside of the show. Madix was handed Sandoval’s phone after it fell out of his pocket while he was performing with his band, Tom Sandoval & The Most Extras, and found an inappropriate video of Leviss on it.
Following the Friday news drop in March that Madix and Sandoval had split, posts about the affair quickly came to dominate social media, with #Scandoval becoming a trending hashtag. By that Monday, the story had ballooned into one of the biggest reality TV scandals of all time, with interest in the drama extending far beyond the show’s fandom.
At the time, Vanderpump Rules’ 10th season was set to air for 14 episodes that fans believed would center on the aftershocks of costars Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz filing for divorce, as well as the controversy surrounding series regular Lala Kent’s ex-fiancĂ© and baby daddy, Hollywood producer Randall Emmett, facing allegations of civil fraud, sexual misconduct, and other abuse.
But Scandoval changed the season’s tone—with the affair at the forefront of every viewer’s mind, each subsequent episode of the season has been analyzed through a completely new lens. As remaining episodes aired, viewers made a point to look closely at all the interactions between Sandoval and Leviss, revealing that the pair seemed to not-so-carefully be conducting their affair right under the noses of their fellow castmates.
What has Vanderpump Rulesseason 10 revealed about Scandoval?
Pre-Scandoval, the drama of season 10 largely revolved around Leviss, encouraged by co-star Scheana Shay, making a play for Schwartz despite Schwartz and Maloney’s post-divorce pact that they wouldn’t hook up with anyone in the friend group. During the season 9 reunion, Leviss and Kennedy announced that they had ended their own engagement. Less than three months later, Kennedy started a relationship with his current girlfriend, Ally Lewber, who has appeared as a recurring cast member in season 10.
Now, however, Leviss’s flirtation with Schwartz has since come to be seen as a cover-up for her actual affair with Sandoval, Schwartz’s best friend. Schwartz has said that he knew Sandoval and Leviss had what he claims was a one-night stand in August 2022, while still filming season 10, but didn’t know their relationship had developed into a full-blown love affair until January of this year.
“The one-night stand was in August and then it became, from my point of view, it became an emotional affair,” Schwartz said on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen on April 5. “Which is still inappropriate but I didn’t think it was linear
[Then] in January, he came to me and told me that he was in love with Raquel.”
The in-show hints of Scandoval began in the season’s 11th episode when Lewber told Kennedy she saw Sandoval and Leviss out together late one night at a West Hollywood bar, The Abbey, with Madix nowhere in sight. “I saw Sandoval and Raquel dancing together at The Abbey,” she recounted in a confessional during the episode, which aired April 19. “I personally wouldn’t be comfortable with it, I guess, to have my boyfriend out at 1 a.m. with girls. But everyone’s different.”
Vanderpump Rules matriarch, former Beverly Hills housewife Lisa Vanderpump, also seemed be getting wise about the intimate dynamic that had developed between Sandoval and Leviss, even going so far as to seemingly arrange for her husband, Ken Todd, to reveal to Maloney that Leviss had stayed the night at Sandoval and Madix’s shared home while Madix was away attending her grandmother’s funeral mid-season.
However, despite Maloney’s attempts to broach the rumors with Madix, her longtime friend and sandwich shop business partner, on multiple occasions, Madix remained insistent that Sandoval and Leviss were both loyal to her and would never do such a thing.
The season’s penultimate episode, which was set to be the original finale, also featured a difficult-to-watch conversation between Madix and Leviss about the details of Madix and Sandoval’s sex life.
What are we going to see in the season 10 finale?
Following the initial Scandoval revelations, Vanderpump Rules producers jumped into action to get cameras rolling and document the fallout from the situation, even though filming had long ago wrapped for the season. The resulting footage was turned into a new finale, aptly titled “#Scandoval,” that will include scenes depicting a blowout fight between Sandoval and Madix that took place at their shared home, as well as an encounter between Sandoval and Leviss at the latter’s apartment during which they discuss their affair.
The episode will also feature the return of former Vanderpump Rules star Kristen Doute, who was fired for racial misconduct alongside costar Stassi Schroeder in June 2020, following accusations by former recurring cast member Faith Stowers that the pair had filed a false police report against her for a crime she did not commit.
Doute dated Sandoval for years prior to Madix and was at odds with Madix for several seasons over the circumstances surrounding the beginning of her relationship with Sandoval. However, Doute and Madix ultimately became close friends, and Doute has been a staunch vocal supporter of Madix since the Scandoval bomb dropped.

A Thorough 'Vanderpump Rules' #Scandoval Explainer Some were not chosen by fate to witness the season three episode of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills transition into the premiere of Vanderpump Rules in 2013, and as a result, have likely been a bit lost this last week. No fear! We're here with an explainer that will explain... well, everything! On March 3, news of what would later be dubbed the "Scandoval" broke: VPR cast member Tom Sandoval had carried on a months-long affair with castmate Raquel Leviss while still with long-term girlfriend Ariana Madix. From there, things devolved quickly: a restraining order, a black eye, a leaked sex tape, dozens of Instagram stories and paparazzi photographs, and most surprisingly, news that Bravo had picked up the cameras nearly six months after the ongoing season wrapped. Let's start at the beginning.Vanderpump Rules was the backdoor spin-off of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and premiered right after S3E08 in 2013. The network cut the premiere to blend seamlessly with the preceding episode, and would go on to become the juggernaut of Bravo's arsenal with consistently high ratings and a broad appeal beyond the foundational Real Housewives fanbase. Originally pitched as a reality show about struggling models, musicians and actors at RHOBH mainstay Lisa Vanderpump's Villa Blanca and SUR (Sexy Unique Restaurant) establishments, it soon spun off into something much more.Today, the show consists of staff and owners of about five bars and restaurants — SUR, WeHo's Pump, TomTom, Vegas' Vanderpump Cocktail Garden, Schwartz and Sandy's — with a sandwich shop potentially named Something About Her on the way, if all goes according to plan. The original cast of hapless 20-somethings consisted of current stars Scheana Shay, Katie Maloney and most notably, Tom Sandoval. Ariana Madix was a guest on season one and would become a main cast member by season two. Her introduction to the show is key to the current affair, because she and Sandoval were accused of a nebulous romantic entanglement by Sandoval's then girlfriend, Kristen Doute. She, for the record, had carried on an affair of her own with former cast member Jax Taylor, which played into her and Sandoval's eventual breakup. Sandoval and Madix soon got together and were happy by all accounts. Shay warned her about Sandoval's ability to lie, his apparent narcissism and even his supposed affair with a woman still only known as "Miami girl." For a brief moment, Madix and Shay fell out over this, but would reunite in coming seasons and remain close friends to this day.In this time, James Kennedy was introduced as the boyfriend of Doute, although their new relationship did not last very long. According to both parties, there was mutual toxicity and perhaps even infidelity. The show itself had begun to pick up steam in viewership, and it became harder for the cast to not feel the pull of outside forces. They soon became recognizable as staff, restaurants were packed with eager onlookers and rumors of various affairs between different cast members mounted on both sides of the gender divide. The numerous plot lines about these supposed affairs are important to this story in a variety of ways, but mostly for their ubiquity. To the onlooker, it might seem like Sandoval and Leviss' affair was a run of the mill occurrence. But there is a key distinction for Sandoval and Madix's relationship specifically, which played into the explosion of news about his covert operations with Leviss. To fans, Madix and Sandoval were the last remaining relationship of the old guard of the cast: Doute was gone, Maloney divorced Sandoval's business partner Tom Schwartz, Shay divorced and remarried, and too many more to count. Because of this, they became an emotional core to the cast and were frequently accused by others and even viewers of having the "perfect" relationship, not to mention the most stable.Leviss, meanwhile, was first introduced as James Kennedy's girlfriend in season five after his breakup from Doute and entanglement with current cast member Lala Kent. They later broke up in season nine, while engaged, due to Kennedy's behavior and infidelity. Pointedly, Sandoval had paid for their engagement party and was pictured frequently with Leviss, Kennedy and Madix. There was even an entire episode dedicated to the engagement party, staged to look like Coachella, in which he waxed poetic about the lengths he went to make it special for Leviss and Kennedy while Madix wondered if he'd ever do the same for her. By all accounts, the three were incredibly close friends. Shay and Madix both had also been champions of Leviss when the cast had ostracized her in the past. \u201cWe have resumed filming on #PumpRules and this story will be unfolding on camera.\u201d — Bravo (@Bravo) 1678148084 Jumping forward to March 3, TMZ dropped an exclusive that truly broke the internet: "TOM SANDOVAL & ARIANA MADIX CALL IT QUITS...Allegations He Cheated With Costar Raquel Leviss." According to what fans, sources and cast members pieced together, Madix discovered the infidelity a few days prior because of an illicit recording of a FaceTime call between Sandoval and Leviss in which they had cyber-sex (Leviss, for the record, later claimed this was recorded without her consent). As for how it was discovered, Sandoval had either asked Madix to record a video of him onstage with his cover band or it had fallen out of his pocket. The story changes day to day, but the general takeaway is the same.Meanwhile, Shay and Leviss were in New York City to film Watch What Happens Live! with Andy Cohen. Afterward, Leviss allegedly revealed the affair to Shay as Madix discovered it on the opposite coast. This part is murky as neither Shay or Leviss have completely explained what transpired in NYC. Regardless, rumors quickly spread following TMZ's initial report that Shay had gotten physical with Leviss, which was seemingly confirmed by a restraining order filed by Leviss earlier this week. See on Instagram As news began to break, co-stars like Lala Kent and Katie Maloney spoke out publicly against Sandoval, who remained silent at first. They were seen outside Madix's' home in Los Angeles alongside former co-star Doute, who resurfaced after she was fired a few years back. Sandoval was later papped at Leviss' house amid reports they planned to remain together after the dust settled. Bravo also announced it would resume filming the current season, a somewhat unprecedented move for the network. Sandoval eventually issued a statement about his businesses that curiously excluded any mention of Madix. He later appended that statement with an actual apology. See on Instagram See on Instagram Leviss, meanwhile, declined to make a statement on her own social media pages and instead issued an apology through Entertainment Tonight. Alongside the statement came a report from a source close to Leviss that she had attempted to apologize privately to Madix, who refused to speak to her former friend for obvious reasons. Other details of note: Sandoval and Leviss apparently kissed on camera in their first scene together after filming resumed. The two also wore matching necklaces for months prior. See on Instagram The rest of this story is rumor and conjecture from cast members and participants of the Bravo universe: Cohen, who is an executive producer, told his audience on Radio Andy that everyone young-ish person in the Bravo family had texted him and each other about it, Kent continued to fire off Instagram Stories about Leviss and Maloney teased there was "something big" in the works for her and Madix. The rest, it seems, will unfold on camera later this season after Bravo recuts the back half to fit the "Scandoval" of it all. The Amazing New Look of Pump Rules!
Tumblr media
Better late than never, right?
But I can’t find myself to move on with the new season of Vanderpump Rules without addressing their new look!
This new look is giving the show the credit it deserves!
Their sitting around a sexy bar in gold and back, and they look amazing, if not a little photoshoped too much.
James Kennedy’s face looks as if it has been shrunk within his face, while Katie Maloney-Schwartz is almost unrecognizable.
And why did they choose a picture with her looking so menacing? Is unhinged Tequila Katie back to stay? Is she the bad guy this season?
Ariana Madix looks properly Vanderpumpish like, as if she’s coming for the throne in Beverly Hills.
She’s the only one who has tried to confront Lisa Vanderpump, after all.
But they’re finally bringing sexy back! The show is back to basics with who’s sleeping with who, and the drama that follows this dysfunctional friend group.
On social media they even have a promoting video with a cover song of “SexyBack”.
It seems like Bravo is fixing their mistakes from the past.
But did anybody really care about season 9? It didn’t seem like even Bravo cared about it!
Charli Burnett and Brock Davies are gone from the cast photo, and I’m guessing everybody is thrilled about that.
It’s difficult to care about someone who only engage during reunions or someone who appears
 a little emptyheaded.
It’s clear that they couldn’t replace Jax Taylor, but it’s difficult to imagine someone who can! He’s one of a kind asshole.
But I think it’s important that Bravo can prove that this cast can work without Jax and Stassi Schroeder.
Say whatever you want about their personality, but they were excellent in the game of reality shows.
This might be a sink or swim season for the show. And that might be why they’ve gotten a better budget for their promotion.
Dare I hope that this season might actually be a good one?
I was ready to be done with this show after its terrible season 9, but this looks so good!

"When I was most broke I went out and bought a mink coat, but it was for my mother.  I have one mink coat of my own now, and a dilapidated old fox I wear all the time.  The mink just hangs in the closet.  It's a good feeling to know it's there, but I never wear it.  I wore a rented mink the other night, and I was so uncomfortable I turned it inside out and threw it over my shoulder."—Sharon Tate, quote taken from Rex Reed's article called "The girls who play Jennifer, Neely, and Anne," which was published in the January, 1968 issue of Cosmopolitan Magazine (@cosmopolitanmagazine ).

So Charlie was one of my first big crushes, I remember I use to stay up after my bedtime and put my blanket over my tv and basically sit an inch from the screen to watch Buffy and then Queer as Folk. And if that doesn’t sum up my terrible taste in fictional men I don’t know what will đŸ€ŁđŸ€ŁđŸ€ŁđŸ€Ł
Okay 😂😂💀 you do have horrible taste in fictional men
One of my first crushes was Dylan McKay on Beverly Hills 90210. Because obviously one should want a man who would cheat on you with your best friend! The boy had daddy issues, mommy issues ( hello, Jax), addiction ( both alcohol & drugs) and couldn’t be bothered to confirm to society’s standards (he was just too cool) on top of his cheating. How was I not in love with Jax????
But really, of course Charlie was/is attractive but Jax’s actions would just piss me off. Constantly! And maybe part of it is that I disliked Tara so much but I just can’t with him.
