1x13's ark landing scene is genuinely stunning.

exit music for a film is a wonderful song. it's haunting. it's an ending and a quiet, heartwrenching beautiful tune. it fits both the new beginning on earth and the end in space, with jaha condemning himself to never see the earth.

JAHA: Tell me what it's like. ABBY: It's... everything I dreamed. So much green. There are trees everywhere. And water. And the air. The air... smells... sweet. It's so beautiful. Thelonious, you should be here.

and these last shots, below - they always get me. how human is that, to be blinded by the sun? at strange angles, in the middle of the day, unexpected, to be caught by the sun's light.

Looking over the bloody mist invading the once clear waters of the lake, which obscured the city of ghosts that Jaha had become. The Oracle stared at the bodies of her allies, her friends; some of them unmoving, beyond salvation. In the midst of the massacre, the gigantic abomination, living its last moments, focused on the azarketi in front of it with the same intensity she stared at it with.

We both know what it takes to survive.

Without their strength, the Vitalia would have never been defeated. There was dulled pain in her eyes, but also awareness. Acceptance... no. Resignation, as the last of her tears mixed with the water. The monster had struck down what was left standing, even if some of them were still alive.

gotta say it’s really annoying watching how Jaha most of all but Kane in a way too undermine Abby’s role as a chancellor in s2 and try to tell her how to do what when we all know Jaha is a trainwreck and Kane is doing slightly better now but he was the same s1, so like it’s just awful how they pressure her when she has the mind to make the decisions herself

Anche Vincent van Gogh ha dedicato un suo capolavoro a un ramo di mandorlo in fiore. Bianchi o leggermente sfumati di rosa, questi fiori delicati colorano le chiome dei primi alberi a fiorire in primavera e degli ultimi a dare i frutti, quelle deliziose mandorle che da poco più di un anno fanno parte della mia quotidianità. Non solo ho sostituito il latte vaccino con quello di mandorle, ma questo…
