J2 Out & About — Dec 15 to 19 2017 🕵️‍♂️Smoke & Mirrors🕵️‍♂️ Edition

Smoke & Mirrors — the obscuring or embellishing of the truth of a situation with misleading or irrelevant information. The source of the name is based on magicians' illusions, where magicians make objects appear or disappear by extending or retracting mirrors amid a distracting burst of smoke. 

From now on, you’ll have a chronological timeline of the events that set up the illusionistic trick we’ve been fed, these past few days.

6:46pm CT, Jessica tweets this picture and caption, not mentioning date or place: "With the holidays comes holiday entertaining! Y'all going to some Christmas parties tonight??" 

7:33pm CT, Jep tweets his picture with Jensen, Steve and Gino, implying it was taken at the same day/time. Take a look at their clothes, especially Steve's.

Remember that Lana's picture from a plane’s window on Dec 7? On Dec 15, she posts pictures of herself and a few friends. Her following pictures show her in Russia.

10:20pm CT, D posts a picture on set with M (looking hella creepy...) and tags herself in Vancouver. 

But... wait a minute! Is Jensen out & about in Austin while his “wife” works in Vancouver? Shocker! No, wait! She changes the caption the morning after, tagging Jensen as the photographer.

So,Jensen has a clone in Vancouver! How interesting. Even more interesting is how everyone and their mothers were commenting how creepy and inappropriate M was looking at D in the picture... then BAM! Oops! Forgot my “husband” took the picture, of course.

Now the best thing about all that? Jensen’s comment with his usual double entendre mastery and dripping sarcasm:

D was also wearing a trench coat in that picture...

On that same Dec 15, G floods her SM with pictures (one of them with a blurred Jared in the background), ads and a pointless live stream with Shep, where three interesting things happen:

“‘Go get Jared?’ No! What about me?” — replying to a comment

“Go find dad.”

“Who just got home?” — to what a hesitant Shep timidly replies “Dad?” 

“Go get your dad.” — who actually never shows

[Translation: Look, Jared is at home!... With me!]

Amidst all that, she also informs her followers she’s on her 4th day of flu, posting a picture of herself in a shirt she used for previous posts and ads. She looks surprisingly healthy, both in the picture and the livestream.

I just want to know one thing: who took this wonderful picture?

But, wait! There’s someone missing at the table.... And they apparently left something behind...

Is that a... Napkin? A beanie? A napkin and a beanie?...

In case you’re still wondering, all the pictures posted above by the FBB’s and the Ducks’ SM accounts were taken on the same day, Nov 26, during the thanksgiving weekend, once Jared arrived in Austin.

Citations and gifs from the movie The Prestige, by Christopher Nolan. The movie is one of my favorites and a lesson in Smoke & Mirrors. I strongly recommend you to watch and rewatch it, as you will find many similarities between the movie and this post. Here’s a spolierish article with good insights on this masterpiece.

As it has become a pattern lately, the fan deleted the picture. Notice how quite a few of the IG accounts that post pictures of J2 end up either locked or deleting the pictures. 

4pm CT, a fan posts a picture with Jared, also at the Thinkery.

6pm CT, a fan posts a lategram placing Jared at a restaurant called Gourdough's. A fan asks about G but the reply seems a bit loose:

11:01am CT, D posts a boomerang video with Jensen, at the same place Jared was and with the same filter. 

She mentions an "Annual Gumbo Whiskeyball Party", what made me think they have done this before, and surely with Jared among them.

On the same day Steve posts another boomerang vide with the same filter, at the same place, this time with D, making sure to place all of them at the Ackles's.

11:30am CT, Tank, the policeman friend of the Js's, posts a lategram video of Jensen singing at the audience, at the Formula 1 concert, in Austin, Oct 22.

Don't you just love how Jared and Jensen made sure to let us know they were together for Christmas? Steve's post wasn't enough, they had to send all the helpers to make sure we understood it wasn't an accident. Even a day after the party they still sent us proof they were together. Jensen and Jared were obviously having a great time. Together.

In December 2016, Jensen & Jared were also pictured shopping in Vancouver

They were buying liquor at Legacy Liquor Store for the Supernatural Crew Christmas Fund Raiser. Later that week, Jim Michaels confirmed that the party’s Santa had been J2, with numerous and very generous gifts to the crew. Enlarge the picture below and be proud of our boys: cash, iPhones, Bose equipment, expensive liquor, etc.

And that inevitably reminds me of this precious moment when Jensen was sure he had lost a bet

Jared & Jensen were maybe dining at the restaurant and by the time the fan got there, Jensen had left and G arrived.

There used to be a Morton's branch in Vancouver during the early years of Supernatural and J2 often frequented the place. The picture below was taken in 2008 by a fan who was eating at the place and noticed the photo on the wall—she then took a picture of a picture. It quickly became a fan favorite due to the boys' soft happy smiles, and for Jared's arm reaching out to touch Jensen, even with a person between them.

Here's an interview from the same year of the picture, where J2 mention being at Morton's the night before.

10:30pm PT—Fan posts picture with J2 and tells how they saved her from getting hit by a skateboarder. Jared lectured the guy.

A similar story happened in 2016, also in California, when J2 were at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance and saved a fan from getting hit by a car.

Later that same day, she IG stories the following, proving both boys are with Jared, but not necessarily with her (and a lot of people speculate about her presence in Vail).

Also on the 28th, Kelli, Jensen's aunt's wife, was celebrating her birthday, in Colorado. 

Whether Jared (and Jensen?) was there is unclear, but it is interesting that Jared got to Colorado in time to wish his aunt a happy birthday in person.

3:52 am CT, D posts a picture with Jensen, tagging Austin, talking about cold nights.

Interesting that the photo implies they were out and yet no one saw either one of them...

1:46 pm CT, D posts another picture of Jensen, again placing him in Austin.

The picture was cute enough to diverge people's attention from the fact that Jensen was probably hibernating, because absolutely no soul in Austin saw that man.

[Notice how Jensen is conveniently wearing the same cap from his post of Dec 24 post with D. Also notice how the photo is strangely bright, to the point where it's impossible to identify the location.]

Fan posts picture from the 29th on the 30th.  [pay attention to Jared's black  jacket]

Remember anons speculating about G's presence in Colorado? She posts a picture with her sons in Vail; no Jared, tho.  [pay attention to Shep's red jacket]

Anons find out that the Cortese family is in Idaho and that G's brother and his wife are meeting them there:

Trolls descend on the thread trying to discredit the original poster. However, look what interesting piece of information is also brought up:

Comments on Goss are recorded as UTC so when the anon posts on Dec 29 at 3:42 am, it is actually Dec 28 8:42 pm MT. Thus, the plane the anon is referring to flew from Colorado to Idaho on Dec 28 at 4:30 pm MT, same day as Jared and Tom's ice skating picture.

Now consider the possibility below:

Dec 30, Saturday

A charter flies from Austin to Vail.

As previously said, posts on Goss need to be converted into the appropriate timezone.

So the flight was actually on Dec 30, 10 am MT, since the anon posted on that same day.

The entire day was radio silence from both Beards and Jensen.

Jared, Vail

7:30pm MT, fan posts picture with Jared in front of the Hotel Gasthof Gramshammer. Once again the picture gets inexplicably deleted a couple of hours later, and the fan locks her account.

Sunday brought some unusual behavior from D: she spent the whole day posting either random or nondescript pictures.

9:23 am CT, she starts off with a TBT from a NYE in California.

9:30 am CT, she makes a random post about a cake, implying she wants to attempt to make it.

Jared, Vail

12 pm MT, a meets Jared and takes a picture that is later posted by a friend of them. 

When asked if Jensen was with Jared, the fan says Jared was alone. But they were not sure. But Jared was possibly G. How "possibly" if Jared was alone? Based on what? He surely wasn't with Jensen but possibly with G? Yeah, sure, fan...

The picture is only posted around 4 pm MT and the post gets deleted around 6 pm. Have you been noticing the "post deletion" pattern? [pay attention to Jared's green jacket]

1:15pm MT, G posts a picture of Jared and Arlo, saying that she doesn't know who she loves more, her dog or her husband. I'm... Not going to comment...

3:30pm MT a fan posts a picture with Jared and mentions his kids. Jared is wearing the same clothes and is probably at the same place as the picture from the 12 pm sighting.

3:48 pm MT, D posts a boomerang with only her hands and JJ's making the cake previously mentioned.

Jensen (supposedly in Austin, but MIA)

6 pm MT, Jensen posts a throwback picture to a supposed NYE spent at an untagged ski location. What a coincidence that he chose a ski location... Like Colorado, for example?

It turns out the actual location of the picture was Aspen, Colorado.

Now, isn't it interesting that Jensen chose a NYE TBT at a ski location, in Colorado, knowing Jared is in Colorado, at a ski location, that same time? If that picture was indeed taken at a NYE, it quite possibly was the NYE 2014, the one that kicked off Austin Era. Probably THE MOST important NYE J2 spent together. In Colorado. Where Jared was.

NinjaJensen, were you trying to give us a hint on which state you were?

7:30pm MT, G posts the picture on the left.

Remember Shep's red jacket from her IG post of Dec 29?

Remember that on the same Dec 29 Jared was photographed with fans wearing a different jacket than the one above?

Oh, and the most important: Jared wearing a Family Business Beer hat. Nice touch, Jared! Give them what they want in the way they least expect it. 

SmartJared, were you trying to give us a hint on who you were with?

8:45pm MT, D posts a picture of the finished cake, tagging Austin but not Jensen.

A little after midnight, Austin time, D posted the following picture of a bottle of wine captioning it "current mood". 

I wonder if she meant "alone and drunk", "bored af" or "wanting to kill someone with the machete the model is holding"...

Anyway, didn't I tell you D's behavior was unusual? Try a tad OTT and a lot suspicious.

Interesting that they all started on the day a charter flew from Austin to Vail...

Another interesting fact: if Jensen and D were in Austin, why not post a picture of the two of them together, instead of the two TBTs? Oh, wait...

But only Jared was spotted by fans in all these days, how come no one saw Jensen? I mean, HOW can people not see a 6'1" man attached to another 6'4" man, right? Jensen wouldn't risk being seen with Jared after all the Smoke & Mirrors Circus the beards helped them to set up, right? Of course he's in Austin, right? Then, why wasn't Jensen seen in Austin?
