I return with some fun, low-effort Murder Drones doodles because that's the only thing I have the time and energy for right now (turns out moving to another state to escape day job hell and also the transphobia is A Very Involved Process).

short analysis on the disassembly drones' character designs

Something I love about the DDs designs are the use of colour. They're all almost entirely monochromatic, all of ly using greys, blacks and whites EXCEPT for small yellow accents like the eyes, headband, hands, or tail

I just really like the minimal usage of other colours because it kinda gives the idea of the little freedom the disassembly drones would have, and it makes them look like they're part of a "set" or "team", especially when you compare that to some of the worker drones

It's a creative way to set them apart from the others and convey ideas from them to tje audience, and I think it's really well done!!

I love Requiem so much. The writing and characterization is literally amazing. It's so heartbreaking, but just so good. This scene in particular has been floating around in my brain since I first read it.
