Shigadeku soul mate au- on one wrist, you have the soulmate destined to be your enemy. On the other, your love. It's rare for a name to migrate from enemy to love.
Midoriya doesn’t talk about his marks.
It’s not that weird, Ochako thinks when it pops into her mind. A lot of people don’t. Having your soulmate and archenemy on your wrists is kind of private. More so when your archenemy more or less amounts to ‘that bitch down the street with her annoying dogs’ like her mom’s.
But… Ochako doesn’t know. She finds it odd sometimes how Midoriya acts when Todoroki openly displays his. Todoroki Enji is on his right, his enemy, and Shinsou Hitoshi is on his left, his soulmate. It caused a huge fuss in the media when it became clear, and it got out how awful Endeavour was to his own family.
It’s odd when Midoriya looks worriedly at Iida’s to. His has some English name for his lover and an Akihito Chizome for his enemy. It’s odd when Midoriya notices hers (a girl named Haruno Sakura who is on her left and who Ochako has met. She has a reincarnation Quirk and changed her name recently. She’s so cool. And a Toga Himiko on her right for her enemy.) and gets quiet.
It’s so strange that one day Ochako has to ask.
“Midoriya, why do you get quiet about soulmates?” She inquires. He pauses, eyes glancing to his wrists.
“Uraraka! That’s rude!” Iida scolds. “You don’t have to answer Midoriya.”
“No. I…” Midoriya hesitates. “My marks moved.”
Silence. Ochako feels her mouth drop open, eyes wide as she stared at Midoriya. Iida sputters, shaking his head.
Moving marks? That was… that was so rare! She only heard of it happening a century ago!
“What happened?” Ochako has to know. She feels bad but… how? How can your lover become your enemy?
“My… his name was Bakugou Katsuki. We grew up together. I’m a late bloomer, and a False Negative. When I didn’t get a Quirk at the same time he did he became… cruel. Kids stuff at first but as we got older…” Midoriya moves the collar of his jacket to show an awful scar on his neck.
Ochako wants to puke. She covers her mouth as a sinking feeling echoes through her stomach while Iida stares with wide eyes.
“Shigaraki Tomura… he showed up when I was thirteen. I… I won’t tell you what he saw Bakugou doing to me. I don’t like thinking about it. But… I felt the marks move then. I saw them move on my wrists. Bakugou did to. He tried to attack Tomura. He knocked him out and got me to safety,” Midoriya gives a smile as tears begin to trickle down his face. “My mom blamed me. She loved Bakugou more than me. However Tomura’s dad has a good lawyer and I was put in custody of someone else. And Bakugou… I don’t know what happened to him. I don’t care to know.”
“Oh Midoriya,” Ochako says, reaching out to grab his hands. “I’m sorry.”
“Yeah. I just… I worry.” He whispers.
Ochako can’t blame him. Not after that.

Stars and Stripes does the opposite of what a good plot device does.
She comes out of no where and Hori expects us to believe she'll actually defeat Shigaraki?
That this new minor character will suddenly be the cornerstone of a final act already half over?
It's already annoying that AFO just takes over the plot despite not having the build up Shigaraki had, but at least it made sense and it wasn't out of no where.
Now imagine if this random lady just came in and fucked up the final boss before the main character even has a shot? That'd be garbage.
So already, people are cynical. They know this rando couldn't win. We know they can't just come in and decide they are a main character. So then what's the point? What is gained?
Well, AFO had the answer to that. Her power. AFO wanted her power. Him getting it has to be the only reason any of this is happening and it'd really upped the stakes since he was already seamingly unbeatable before. So that must be it.
I have touched a bit on star and stripes and how she very much sucks as a plot device (heck Eri is better than her and I don't even like how horikoshi used Eri)
I feel like everyone was aware that star and stripes was introduced to simply be killed off and raise tensions. There was no way that a random character who we have never ever heard of before was going to take down the main villain. She was going to die and that was clear from the moment she was introduced that she didn't even stand a chance. I do think that horikoshi made her quirk overpowered so he could try and make it seem like she could actually have a chance at winning but heck even star and stripes seems to accept the fact that she was going to die in that fight. However, I do think that if it was a fair and unbiased fight star should of won. The only reason she didn't was because shigaraki was going through a bit of an identity crisis at the right time.
Personally, I was pretty annoyed when AFO took over shigaraki and I believe that was the catlayst for the series downfall when it came to writing (the series already had it's writing problems but dam AFO coming back and doing what he did sure did a lot of damage)
Also, even when shigaraki and AFO have new order aka star and stripes quirk they never use it?!?! Why?!?! Is it because horikoshi realised that if that quirk were to be used than Izuku wouldn't stand a chance at doing anything or did hori forget about it because he used star as a cheap way to raise stakes within a story.

Bakugou x reader part 2 berserk au
Three years have passed since bakugou joined izuku. Bakugou has made many friends here and even learned to appreciate what he has, he's proud to be called one of them. "Bakugou can I have a word with you..." but there was always one thing that was bothering him.... "are you fucking crazy" that's right your undeniable hatred for him. you stood behind bakugou infuriated with his recklessness during the mission. He calmly listened as you raged at his behavior.
" YOU COULDVE GOTTEN SOMEBODY KILLED YOU DAM FOOL!" Bakugou sighed as he then got up from his seating position Turning to look at you "I'm sorry won't happen again" you gritted your teach " it's always the same! Just talk!"You said as you then walk up to him"nothings changed since the three years you've been with us your a  asshole a dam brute, a mad dog who could care less about his comra-"you gasp as bakugou gripped your wrist  glaring at you feeling offended at your words.
"That's not true I do care about them I do!" Your eyes widened at how his eyes held so much care to what he was saying. "Please no fighting on this most celebratory of days" you both turn to the voice as you see "ZUKU!" You both say in unison as you then yank your wrist from bakugou's grip. You walk past lotor before stopping behind him "izuku you show him to much kindness" you said as you then continue to walk away as you let izuku and bakugou talk.
"You guys still fight just as much as the day you two met... things really haven't changed during these three years."bakugou sat there for a second " three years huh..." bakugou sat next to him as he smiles up towards the golden sky "yes it's it's three years since our duel...such an exciting duel..." bakugou looked at izuku"izuku I'm sorry about the fight today..." lotor got up beginning to walk away before turning around " fight for my sake bakugou... since your mine..." izuku continued to walk off as bakugou watched from a distance.
It was the next day and another tough battle. While fighting you feel a sudden pain in your lower abdomen as you groan in pain "not now..."you whispered as you then hear a wicked chuckle. You quickly look up as you glare at the enemy. Of course it had to be a rando that pushes your buttons. " so your the woman who leads a thousand men ... well if you ask me I believe women should play at being soilders."
You gritted your teach as the two of you swing your swords until your cornered by a cliff you look behind you and then quickly glare at him  until you notices the creep raise his sword above your head. You position  your sword in order to block the incoming impact of his sword. Your eyes widened as you see bakugou blocked the his for you "BAKUGOU!"
He then looked at you " what's the matter with you?" He then ended slamming the handle of the sword into the guys teeth causing the his teeth to bend and break in an unnatural way making him fall back. Bakugou then turned to you  as he proceeded to walk up to you " Hey focus you could have been killed.." as bakugou spoke your vision became blurry as you felt your eyes become heavy slowly feeling yourself fall backwards until your caught by bakugou.
"Hey ( y/n) snap out of it (y/n)" He then grunted as he felt something sharp hit his side he turned to be met with the sight of an arrow in him he glared at the bastard that shot him as you both begin to fall off the cliff with bakugou wrapping you in a protective hug squeezing you tightly as you both fell. " BAKUGOU! (Y/N)!" Bakugou caught a glimpse of kirishima staring down with a very concerned expression as you both eventually land in water.
Izuku soon catches word of you two falling and is immediately upset that he had lost both of his strongest soilders he decided he needed to find them as soon as possible. He eventually turned to his comrades sending them to look from top to bottom so they could find them. But little did they know you two eventually did find shelter in a cave, bakugou sighed as he sees you shivering in your sleep state he sighed in irritation as he then removes your shirt laying you back down gently.
He then removes your pants noticing a red stain. shit she's injured he thought until he noticed where the blood was coming from and it was between your legs. He sighs nodding to himself as he finally understands why you've been acting so strangely today.
Must be hard he thought....being a woman as he holds you in his arms holding you close as rain clouds soon begins to build up. It's gonna be a long night he thought as he held you in his arms warming your body with his.

Soulmates bakudeku / kirikami au part 8
Part 7
When the groups found each other in the crowd, their greeting was strained. Katsuki wasn’t wearing a mask anymore, but some of the other people there were using extravagant things as if they were at a costume party. Kirishima complimented Denki’s outfit and raised a hand to his choker, though he dropped it almost immediately. “I’ve never seen that one before”
“Yeah, it’s new. We went shopping the other day”
“Did you buy a choker too?” Izuku asked Katsuki, who hadn’t looked at him even once.
“Fuck no. I don’t wear that kind of things. But apparently I have taste when it comes to picking them”
“Yeah, he chose it for me. If you like it, y-you can borrow it anytime” Kaminari said to Kirishima, who nodded.
“Hmm, sure”
“I’m gonna go get myself a drink. Do you want something?” Izuku eventually asked, filling the silence that had fallen between them.
“I’ll go with you, yeah” Denki said, turning to Katsuki and mouthing something before turning back to Izuku. Katsuki pulled a face. What was he supposed to do to help him?
“Actually, I’m going, too. Come on!” He said to Kirishima. The four of them chose drinks from the selection of canned sodas and beers before walking outside, sitting among the other knots of people littered throughout the backyard. The silence settled again. A flash of light from a group nearby caught Katsuki’s attention and he looked up. Izuku’s breath caught in his chest.
“Are you… wearing eyeliner?” He hadn’t noticed before because of the poor lighting, but he could see it now.
“Hm, yeah” Katsuki responded, looking at him two seconds before looking away. Izuku looked at Denki, who of course was wearing eyeliner too. And his eyes dropped to the blond’s hoodie. It was Kacchan’s. It could be just the same hoodie but was so baggy on the smaller blond that Izuku knew it had to be Kacchan’s.
“Did you teach him how to do it? It’s so well done” Kirishima added.
“Hm, no” Denki said, simply, looking at some group dancing. “I wanna dance. Don’t you…?” he started, looking at Katsuki.
“No” the ash blond barked, almost as soon as the question left Denki’s mouth.
“M’key. I’ll ask some rando then. Hold this” He passed his drink to Katsuki, who took it, rolling his eyes. Those pretty eyes now outlined in black makeup, Izuku thought.
“Don’t do anything stupid”
“Shut up. I won’t” And he left, though he didn’t go too far. Katsuki could see him approaching a brunette with high-heels and a witch hat. He easily merged with the group, all of them wearing some shit like the stupid mask Kaminari had asked him to wear for the photo earlier. Were you pretending to fucking kiss me? Dude, don’t post that shit. But Denki didn’t listen to him, as per usual. We’re besties, I can kiss my besties’ cheek. Or pretend to, at least. And don’t worry, no one will know this is you, that’s the point of the mask and the hood. Katsuki rolled his eyes remembering it. The photo was kinda cool, though.
The night was nice, but the atmosphere was suffocating to Katsuki. He hadn't realized he was left alone with those two. He unzipped his hoodie. A couple other partygoers approached, some classmates of the other two boys. Katsuki kept his attention on the people around, not paying attention to anybody in particular and letting his feet follow the music. He registered Kirishima complaining about the cold. What cold? Katsuki let the sleeves slide down his arms and threw the hoodie over the redhead.
“What?”
“Take it. I’m not cold”
The boy thanked him after a quiet moment and Katsuki looked at him out of the corner of the eye as he pulled the hoodie over his head. Katsuki felt green eyes studying his face and he turned away.
Kirishima elbowed Izuku and he stopped staring. Izuku frowned deeply. What was with Kacchan? He spent ten years wearing sweaters and hoodies every single day and suddenly he didn’t care? What did that mean? Had he found his soulmate? Or didn’t he care anymore? Or was he looking for it? Izuku couldn’t stop thinking. He hadn’t seen a stain, but he only had access to Katsuki’s pale arms; that didn’t say much. He felt jealous, and sad, and broken. Fuck, he already knew Kacchan wasn’t the one, he knew it, but… it still hurt to think about.
Katsuki got up and stretched out his back, arms extended above his head. And it didn’t only catch Izuku’s attention. A girl in a purple tutu and a pointy black had approached and start talking to him. Izuku couldn’t hear what they were saying, but Kacchan didn’t seem concerned about not wearing a hoodie, just pissed off like always. The girl moved a hand towards him. Izuku stopped breathing. Katsuki moved away before the girl could touch him. Izuku started breathing again. However, Kacchan told her something and she smiled and then shrugged.
Katsuki looked away and the girl’s eyes followed his line of sight. Kacchan nodded when the girl asked him something else and Izuku searched for what the two had been looking at. And found Denki, already walking toward them. Watching the electric blond approach, he missed Katsuki shaking his head at the following question and looking at Izuku out of the corner of his eyes.
When the two boys reunited, they almost immediately started arguing, and the girl went away, shrugging again. When they finished their argument, Denki just turned, his eyes falling right on Kirishima. And then he looked back at Kacchan. “Huh?” he blurted, pointing between the blonde and the redhead with one black nail. Katsuki rolled his eyes, leaning against the wall.
“I was cold” The red-haired boy explained.
“So we’re both wearing his hoodies, but he isn’t” Denki sniggered. He whispered something in Katsuki’s ear which promptly made his eyes go wide as he spit his drink. Kaminari laughed so hard he bend over himself, reaching a steadying hand to grip a distracted Katsuki’s arm, but he stopped before making contact. Izuku had found himself rising to his feet, mouth opened to warn them. “No touching” Izuku heard Denki saying in a singsong voice before his composure lapsed back into laughter.
“Tch. You’re a fucking dumbass. I told you not to do stupid shit, asshole”
“But Tsukkiiii” he whined.
“Ugh. Stop it, I’m not in the mood to deal with your shit”
“I’m just excited. I danced a lot and forgot everything. I feel great!”
“Show me that dance so I can forget you”
“Ugh, don’t say that, it’s mean” Denki griped as Katsuki rolled his eyes.
“I’m warning you, man. Cut that shit out”
“Do you want me to be sad, then?” he whispered so the other two didn’t hear. Katsuki shot him a look that seemed to say ‘of fucking course not, but tone it down’.
“Anyway, I think I’m gonna go back and dance some more” Denki announced seconds before he turned and tripped. Katsuki caught him by the elbow before he could hit the ground. Izuku gasped.
“Don’t go” Katsuki whispered, tugging Denki’s loose sleeve to make him look up at him, begging his roommate with his eyes not to leave him alone with them again.
“Come dance with me” Denki compromised.
“Kami. No”
“We’ll be right back” Denki said to the other two boys who had been watching them intently the whole time. They nodded and Denki grabbed Katsuki shirt to pull him out of there.

Ghillie’s Villain!Izuku AU Outline
Since the only way this AU is going to see the light of day is as interconnected one-shots as I get angsty/villain prompts, I’m posting the major backstory elements now so readers can reference it. If I end up writing enough of these one-shots, I may rearrange and republish them as a coherent story, but until then here’s a basic starting point.
When Izuku is about 7 or 8, his father comes home and decides to do something about his son’s quirklessness (he’s not a real villain, just a rando with more pride than sense.) Hisashi ends up in a fight with Inko over this, and it eventually becomes so violent Hisashi sets the apartment on fire. Izuku makes sure his mom gets out, but his dad grabs him and runs from the burning building, saying that he’s heard about a “specialist” who could help them.
That “specialist” is All for One. At some point during the meeting, All fro One decides to kill Hisashi but sees something in Izuku and decides to keep him, raising him alongside Shigaraki (I’ve got ideas for a subplot where Izuku’s quirk is the ability to handle multiple quirks so All for One was thinking about using him to hoard extra quirks, but I wouldn’t get into it until WAY down in this AU, and could just as easily be dropped in favor of AFO being impressed by analytics and spirit)
AFO proceeds to groom Izuku to be a villain. At first Izuku keeps hoping that a hero (read “All Might”) would rescue him from the villian who killed his father, but AFO is quick to shatter Izuku’s faith by revealing the truth about One for All, specifically that it originally came for AFO. Izuku gets a little boost when All Might defeats AFO, but AFO makes it clear that he mortally wounded All Might and the hero can't be that powerful anymore.
During this time, Izuku and Shigaraki are basically being raised as brothers. However, they’re brothers that fluctuate between getting on each other’s nerves, flat-out hating each other, and very rare bonding moments. When they first meet, Shigaraki hates Izuku’s original faith in heroes and Izuku thinks Shigaraki is creepy, and this sets a bad precedent for their whole relationship. The fact that AFO is obviously showing favoritism to Shigaraki doesn’t help matters. Stll, you can’t spend half your life around one guy without forming some kind of bond with them, even if it’s a part of a vicious, abusive cycle.
Oh yeah, AFO is being very manipulative and emotionally abusive towards Izuku in his attempt to make the kid turn villain. Although Izuku quickly learns to hide his wish for heroes to save him, AFO is still trying to make Izuku hate hero society and only praises him when he helps villains. AFO is constantly saying that he’ll give Izuku a quirk of his own once he’s proven himself to deserve it and AFO decides what quirk would best suit him. Unfortunately, Izuku develops a kind of Stockholm syndrome and craves appreciation from AFO and Shigaraki.
Izuku does still subconsciously know that this is wrong, but in some psychological misdirection he turns all his negative feelings about AFO’s emotional abuse towards the other pearson who used to abuse him: Bakugo. Now that Izuku has distance he recognizes that his friendship with Bakugo was very unhealthy, and starts to turn all of his built-up hate towards him.
Izuku finds his calling in quirk analysis. At some point he overhears Kurogiri, Shigaraki, and AFO planning some criminal activity and provides suggestions on making the most use of the quirks available. AFO and Kurogiri are impressed, and bring Izuku into the criminal organization to plan operations. This leads to Izuku earning the villian name “Analyst.” He is still a little hesitant at this point though, not wanting any civilians to get hurt.
Around the time Izuku is 13-early 14, AFO brings a new kid into the organization. Uraraka’s dad had died in a construction accident that killed several employees, so her family gets stuck with a lot of debt. The accident was actually caused by a hero being careless (probably Mount Lady) but nobody wants to blame the hero so it gets swept under the rug. AFO offers to pay Uraraka’s family’s debt if she comes to work for him and gives up on hero school, and a desperate Uraraka has no choice but to accept. She’s barely in the organization for a day and decides she likes Izuku a lot better than Shigaraki.
When Izuku was supposed to start high school, he somehow finds out that Bakugo not only got into UA, but got the top spot in the entrance exam. The fact that his childhood bully got into the best hero school throws Izuku into a rage and he finally decides to help with Shigaraki’s passion project: killing All Might at UA. He develops a plan to maximize the quirks they have at their disposal and counter the teachers’ quirks, but asks Shigaraki to wait until after the sports festival so he can take the student’s quirks into account. When Shigaraki refuses, Izuku finally comes out his rage and realizes he doesn’t actually want to hurt any of the students, except maybe Bakugou. He plans with Uraraka to keep the kids from getting too hurt, using the excuse that their focus needs to be on defeating All Might.
USJ attack happens, Izuku fights Backugo who recognizes him, eventually the pros show up and they have to retreat, but Shigaraki blames Izuku for the failure.
Izuku goes in disguise to see the sports festival for research. Izuku witnesses Todoroki fighting with Endevor, and the two have a heart-to-heart about hate. They exchange numbers because Todoroki likes talking to him and Izuku thinks he can turn Todoroki to his side. Todoroki ends up using his fire to upstage Bakugou, and eventually realizes where he’d seen Izuku before.
When Stain shows up at the bar, Izuku and Shigaraki are still fighting. The fact that Shigaraki doesn’t like Stain but Izuku agrees with his ideals doesn't help. Izuku and Stain hit it off, and although Stain basically said he wouldn't work with Shigaraki he does say he's interested in Izuku.
Shigaraki throws a temper tantrum and decides to attack Hosu, but Izuku goes in secret to talk to sSain, looking for "advice" but really just trying to find an ally that will take him away from AFO. He catches up just before Stain kills Iida. The 3 have a discussion about Heroes, Izuku reveals that he completely lost his faith in the system when Bakugo was accepted to UA. Eventually, Shigaraki sees Izuku talking to Stain and tells a nomu to pick him up. It's when the pros chase after the Nomu that they capture Stain. Later, Izuku receives a flashdrive in the mail containing Stain's manifesto, including directions to upload it.
When Stain's followers start flocking to the League of Villains, most of them connect with Izuku. There quickly becomes a clear divide between those that follow Shigaraki because VILLAINY, and those who follow Izuku. There's some tension between the two groups, but Izuku and Kurogiri mostly keep the peace.
This all comes to a head when Shigaraki announces his intention to recruit Bakugo. Izuku is livid and refuses to help plan the operation in any way. Eventually he threatens to leave. AFO gives Izuku his usual admonishment and reminder of the possibility of getting a quirk. Izuku finally realizes that AFO is never going to give him a quirk, and as long as he's in the LOVs he'll always be in Shigaraki's shadow, and he decides to actually leave. To his surprise, his half of the LOVs comes with him and they form "The Quirk Revolutionaries."
This is when things really get going.

Natsuo feels ashamed of himself in being useless while this kid his little brother’s age is fighting back the bad guys like no big deal, and not even using a Quirk! When he asks Inko about that later, origin story in that after the doctor saying her son wouldn’t get a Quirk because of a toe-joint, Inko was putting her foot down. She had a past as a vigilante but gave it up to raise Izuku (who would his dad be? AFO is Izuku’s dad AU? Rando with a fire breathing Quirk that left to pick up milk and never came back? Or he was a loving husband and father that died by villain attack that could’ve been avoided had the heroes done their job instead of waiting on the sidelines for someone with a “more appropriate Quirk” to step in?), but took back up her old work after seeing her son so depressed and wanted to stick it to the society that tried putting her baby boy down.
Natsuo starts seeing Inko as his mom giving him conflicted feels since his own mom is in the hospital for therapy because his dad is abusive. Which Inko doesn’t let off easy on. So Endeavor gets a package with a thumb drive that has evidence of his being an ass to his family, and the cover-ups done on his abuse and even the death of his oldest son, Touya. Natsuo spilled the tea over tea.
Tell me, how do you feel about Inko contacting Stain for assistance in bringing down a false hero by his reputation? And Stain getting to change his methods as instead of killing false heroes which could make them into martyrs as Izuku points out, taking them down by exposing their true selves proves to be more fruitful?
It's just funny imagining Kick Ass AU for MHA where Izuku and Inko are that father and daughter pair bc its hilarious thinking about Izuku straight up flying across the floor during gun practice bc Inko is teaching him how far
But like...imagine the hero community learning about the two vigilantes
Big Mama and Hit Boy
Like...imagine that
And then Touya becomes Kick Ass bc he doesnt wanna rely on his quirk
Or we can do that it's Natsuo as Kick Ass bc its hilarious to think about...
I just find it hilarious
But then this could be late developed quirk!Izuku AU where his quirk manifests when he's been taken hostage and turns out his quirk is the same as Inko's but stronger
