I heard it's Superb Owl Sunday so I have prepared some superb owls for you.

The barn owl is the most widespread species of owl, living on every continent except Antarctica. Their faces are shaped like a disk to help their hearing, giving them some of the best hearing of any owl. They mostly hunt by sound.

Snowy owls are the largest arctic predatory birds, They are born with black feathers and get whiter as they age. Females usually have more dark feathers than males.

Eastern screech owls have a few feather variants that make them look like completely different species.

The southern white-faced owl can increase its metabolic rate during winter to compensate for the cold and lack of food. They lay their eggs in nests built and abandoned by other birds.

The great grey owl is the largest owl by length, but a lot of that is feathers and they're actually very light for their size. Their hearing is good enough to hear rodents burrowing through snow and they can break through hard-packed snow to catch prey.

Blakiston's fish owl is the largest owl by mass and eats mostly fish. Despite the name, they may be more closely related to eagle owls than fish owls.

The elf owl is the smallest owl species, barely larger than a sparrow. They hunt bugs and play dead when caught. They like to live in holes in saguaro cacti.

Burrowing owls live in underground burrows. While they can dig, they mostly take over burrows from other animals. Farmers killing prairie dogs has severely reduced burrowing owl populations. They decorate their burrows with feces to attract bugs to eat.

Eddie doesn’t understand football but whenever he gets stuck watching it, he chooses which team to cheer for by which team colors are better.

This pisses Uncle Wayne and Steve off every time because Eddie’s “favorites” are never their teams. It doesn’t help that Eddie starts buying team merch in those colors too and wearing them whenever he can.

(Who can fault Eddie though? That Raiders jacket is the most comfortable one he owns and it just so happens to be in his colors. So of course he’s going to cheer on the Vegas boys when they get a basket or whatever!)

Disney must be quietly freaking out right now about the fact that in the current Environment they're about to release a movie about a Black Captain America and a Latino man fighting the white president of the United States who also happens to turn into a bright red enormously destructive rage monster.

Reader: And this year’s game is bigger than ever. Which means I’ll be feeding them more Totinos than ever.

Claude: Babe, we need more Totinos, Vanta just got here.

Reader: Not a problem, because this year I’ve got the new Totino’s Totino two-pack. It’s twice the Totino for twice the hungry guys.

Claude: Enough yapping, we need the Totinos. Wilson’s here too, and he brought his sister.

Reader: Great, more hands to help me make delicious Totinos pi–

[Reader looks at Finana and gets mesmerized.]

[music playing]

Reader: Pizza rolls. Oh, my!

[Finana walks to Reader]

Finana: Hi. I’m Finana. What’s your name?

Reader: I never had one.

Finana: That’s a shame.

[Reader turns around and starts putting the Totino rolls on tray. Finana starts putting the rolls and slowly touches Reader’s hands.]

Reader: I should bring these out.

Finana: No, stay with me.

Reader: But– what about my hungry guys?

Finana: What are you hungry for?

Guys: Go, go, go, yes! Touchdown!

Claude: Hey, babe, we need those Totinos, what’s going on back there?

[Reader and Finana are in the kitchen hugging each other and dancing softly.]

[Reader is drawing a picture of Finana eating Totinos.]

[Reader looks away]

Finana: What is it?

Reader: Every big game before this one, I’ve been asleep. But, Finana, [speaking in French. The subtitle reads ‘You have awoken me. I feel like we are the only two people on Earth.’]

Claude: They’re gonna punt.

[Reader and Finana open their clothes and slowly touches each other’s skin with Totinos.]

Reader: [In French] My husband has his Totinos. And you are my Totino.

Claude: Babe, what’s taking so long with those Totinos? You girls making out back there?

[The guys laugh]

Shu: You’re crazy.

[Reader and Finana are actually making out]

Female voice: Totino. This spring, find your Totino.

Claude: Babe? Babe?

Was just reminded that I locked myself and my partner into watching Cats (2019) on superbowl night because neither of us cares about football and when she asked me what the opposite of the superbowl was I foolishly said Cats (2019) as a joke. So now we have to watch Cats (2019).
