if someone who writes on ao3 makes or supports proship content, but you, before being made aware of this, read one or more of their non-proship related fics, would it be morally acceptable to read them again?

there is no algorithm on ao3, you reading a fic doesn’t make other people more likely to see it, and you can’t get money off of ao3. the only things that could actually support the creator are optional. i haven’t reread any of those fics yet and have the author muted which sucks cause they were so good!!but the creator is AWFUL. wondering if it’s morally okay or if those fics are forever lost
