My haitani father Shio headcanon is just a bit too funny cuz of how well it works that it sounds like a waste of perfect canon idea and crossover for both of wakui's works.
Aside from the obvious physical features very very obvious, identical eyes, nose, blonde eyebrows, rindou's face form, ran's hair color palette and (arguably) bonten hair style, blah blah i mean just look a the pictures below, you can also bring up any fact from either manga and add it to the hc and it fits in just SO WELL, i'll give the first example, The Haitanis are very obviously rich spoiled kids like have you seen their apartment? They have a fucking dj set, only rich kids with neglective powerful parents will have no problem paying for that, just saying, and even though i love him let's be real Shio is the type to be that parent, i mean cmon he's rich like crazy rich (filthy yakuza money yum yum) he tots would give his children WAY more than enough allowance so they can leave him alone, also the way they act, i've always the Haitanis were the type of kids that think they own the school cuz their dad is rich .
Nvm if this never becomes canon or both universes don't collide, it's just so entertaining to keep connecting the dots that were likely never there, like how Rindou is a heavy drinker cuz his father drank alot with the rest of the Yotsurugis and he tried to imitate him from a young age that it became an unhealthy habit or if you want to add more drama he only drinks cuz he looks up to his father but Shio favors Ran cuz he can posssibly succeed him (canon power complex) so Rindou resorted to drinking cuz it's the only thing like his dad that he can do. Heck yeah i made it angsty!!!
You can also add great context to his fear of Yakuza, picture this, when he was a kid he got up in the middle of night after hearing a loud noise to search for his parents and witnessed Shio (canon Yakuza) pew pew-ing some poeple and surrounded with scary men, that probably scarred him for life that he was so terrified when Kakucho got them interfering with some, OH OH something just came to mind, if he's the son of a yakuza yeah he didn't wanna clash with other yakuza families cuz it can end in a blood shed and risk his and his family's lives.
And i'm gonna add this one not very small detail and i swear i'll shut up (for now), i know it's just a stupid headcanon that is very far from becoming reality and i don't have to take it this deep but hear me out, why their last name is Haitani and not Yotsurugi like their dad, Shio is powerful and have many enemies right ? So he simply decided to protect his children and their identity by giving them another last name likely their mother's (yk like minato with naruto style plan ?) So Haitani is actually their mom's family name. I rest my case. Thank you for coming to my useless ted talk.
#i officially announce i have gone crazy#this is like my new hyperfixation until i find a better headcanon that is more likely to be canon#actually you should all thank me#i just made up a way for the haitanis to be useful for once in their lives#kinda#i mean we already established they bring absolutely nothing to the table#we don't have to go through that again#let's put it in a simple equation#tokrev plot - haitanis = no big difference#but Shio on the other hand is the main antagonist so far sooooo#in my logic by relation they are sort of useful in some way (through nepotism)#i saved the narrative you're welcome#also an addition no one asked for or thought about ran is their dad's favourite but loves his mom more#while Rindou is mama's boy (yk how moms prefer the youngest) but looks up to his dad#speaking of their mom i think she's like from another powerful family#and based on shio doing anything to gain more power that's probably why he married their mom in the first place#OMG ARRANGED MARRIAGE WITH SHIO IS INVADING MY HEAD AFTER I THOUGHT ABOUT IT FOR A SPLIT SECOND#WRITERS IF YOU'RE SEEING THIS PLLLLSSSSSS#oh and apparently Shio is also in Roppongi so that's that.#i really took calling him daddy shio to a whole other level lol#tokyo revengers#ran haitani#rindou haitani#negai no astro#astro royale#haitani brothers#shio yotsurugi#i'm gonna call my new masterpiece of a shitty hc#the wakui multiverse of madness

In an interview Wakui said Mitsuya was like a wolf in sheep's clothing, and all I can imagine is him making someone think it'd be easy to get him into bed, but he's an absolute tease about it, he'll walk around 'innocently' in just your shirt, or a loose pair of shorts, hug you from behind, just tight enough you can feel every part of him through his clothes, but he never lets you have him. He makes you work for it, damn near tortures you and acts as if he doesn't know what he's doing. He'll ask for your opinion on a new clothing line he's doing and come out in a full lingerie set, saying some line about not having an actual model to put it on. But once he finally let's you have him its worth it because he'll be just as frustrated and worked up as you are, if not more
- 🍭
I can 100% see that. He gives off those vibes for sure. 😏

can you imagine telling me 'bonten tl harutaku, pretty boyfriends, that's all" and then not immediately saying more? Like, thanks for setting the autism rabbit hole 😔
Well, in my defense I assumed there was not much to say about Bonten HaruTaku for two reasons:
When could they interact if Takuya is having a good future?
Sanzu "has" Mikey there. Big stretch bc Mikey is an empty shell of himself, but yeah, being his right hand is difficult to imagine him not totally focused on Mikey (is his special interest and we all know it✨). Even more with interacting with anyone outside Bonten. He has to keep the depressed twink alive + a whole organization running like it had a functional boss (okay, Koko helps a lot with anything money related, but violence? That's Haru's deal and I'm pretty sure that as much unhinged as he can be, he works himself for 3 people minimum. Is for Mikey, so no more questions your honor 😌)
BUT!
It has been brought to my attention by @fredlikesbreakfast that we don't see Takuya in Pah-chin's wedding or at any point of the "good future" interactions on Toman's side.
(Also, I'm gonna be using his headcanons about Takuya, bc I'm not a Takuya expert and I trust his wisdom on this. Go read them, everyone!)
And.... This.
Just watch this and how I'm about to build sandcastles over fucking nothing, okay?
(Did I wanted an excuse to show choker Takuya in full color? Yeah, sue me xD)
And then, we get Bonten introduced with some random traitors meeting their "fate"...
(Wakui and his realisim, I just noticed the puddle, argh)
(yeah, Haru is talking alone in here, saying nonsense, right? Is he? Is he talking to that random or to the one next to him? 👀)
ARE YOU ALL SEEING IT? WHO THAT RANDOM BLONDE COULD BE?
Okay, first of all, before talking about harutaku I need to put some context in bonten harumai situation, so bear with me, please! (Haru never got to be his own person, this tl is when he's more of a lost cause and erased himself for Mikey more than ever, so... For understanding Haru, we need to look at his (not) relationship with Mikey 😮💨)
Canon facts? Wakui told us that Mikey barely tolerates anyone at this point and he can only stand Sanzu 🔥 Oh, and has no libido whatsoever (not surprising, anorexic depressed twink much)
That means their codependency is canon, hell yeah!
But, and that's a big one... Mikey is terrified of love bc that would mean having someone to grieve and he can't go there. Besides, he's trying to build a good future for everyone else, so if he admits having feelings for Sanzu... Where would that leave him? Having to push him away for his own good too? (Like Haru wouldn't stay no matter what but shhh, Mikey is depressed and biased)
So yeah, Mikey needs Sanzu, but at the same time, he can't get too close to him. What leads to a pretty fucked up situation where Haru is forced again and again to have to guess Mikey's moods and whims and to never known if he's gonna be welcomed or not.
(Besides the "small" detail of Haru scars being a reminder of Mikey's darkness and what he could do, so... Yeah, complicated)
My personal hc is that they used to be a thing✨ during Kanto Manji times. Until Haru made the mistake of dropping the word love, what turned out into Mikey stopping it all together. One thing is to lie to himself that this is just casual sex, but love? Yeah, no, that can't be.
Why is all of this important? Because it means we have a Haruchiyo who got to be with Mikey for some months and then lose it. An openly rejected Haruchiyo who still stays glued by Mikey's side (Mikey stopped the sex, but still needed him) and who is the only one Mikey tolerates. Are you seeing it? He is at his most delulu and unrequited version of his obsession love for Mikey. 🙃
The setting is twisted and messed up from the start, even before Takuya appears in here 😭
THEY ARE GONNA BE DOOMED FROM THE START!
(Well, no surprises considering how it ends I guess xD)
Okay, we have a Takuya that is trying to find his own path in live. Or at least, to separate himself from Takemichi and be his own persona. What is the opposite of the old Toman goodies who are trying to build a normal and happy life? Get involved with gangs again, ofc! 🔥
For some reason I think he got involved when it was still Kanto Manji. Probably bc it feels more reachable than Bonten? But also, if we go with the hcs of last teen years starting with weed and mixing stuff? He had to buy it somewhere and teen gangs feels like a good choice. Koko was there too, they didn't share much time on the 1st division, but is also someone he knows (and who unlike Kakucho who joins later, is in that gang from the start)
So Takuya starts dealing with drugs. You need money to maintain addictions, it is what it is. Small dealing that gets more serious as he grows up. His ability to be an npc seems pretty useful to deal with drugs on the street, ngl. So he ends up getting promoted due to the fact that his numbers are good (Koko here looking for people who is good at making money). Not a big promotion, he's not a higher up. But he's not a nobody either anymore.
That's Sanzu's cue to enter. He is a paranoid gremlin, we all know that. No way he won't stalk suspect on Takuya, when he's aware he was one of Takemichi's friends – who Sanzu hates and calls stinky (jealous much 🙄).
I think this will be around Bonten creation, first couple of years? What also means Senju just died, ugh. More unstable Sanzu, yey! (but also, in more need for comfort and he can't find it on his king, so that also adds to the mix)
Sanzu discovers Takuya is actually on his own and doesn't have much contact with the Mizo gang – less and less everyday – no more than someone could have with ex-classmates. What yeah, saves Takuya's ass (for now), but makes him curious. Why did Takuya part ways with the others? What is about this guy and why is he different that Sanzu assumed he will be? How did he managed to separate himself from who used to be the center of his life? (that last question is one Haru would never admit even to himself bc it feels like a betrayal, but is there. Unconsciously floating on his brain, no doubt)
Pretty sure, again, Haru is the one approaching to Takuya (for not work related purposes, they might have interact before). Junkie radar also works here, but well, is more obvious on both sides, so no need for any radar I guess? 🤣
Differences that I clearly see in their relationship here?
Sanzu is his boss, that for starter. The power dynamics are more unbalanced than ever bc here, Haru is the second in command and pretty confident about it (he has reasons to be, let's be real, Bonten would crumble without him or Koko)
What means that vulnerability he showed sometimes in Bad Toman? That morning after care? Takuya being able to see some cracks on his walls? Forget about it. Not happening. He has to be the perfect right hand (for Mikey), so he can't show weakness to an underling. He can't stop and acknowledge his exhaustion or feelings either, has to keep going.
He's high all the damn time, but also miraculously functioning more. So not as easy to have a situation where he calls Takuya in a moment of weakness.
Unsafe rough sex, so many dubious situations plus more marked bdsm dynamics.
Also, this one can sound weird, but at the same time, Haru is gonna be more demanding of affection. Had a terrible meeting or didn't sleep in 48h bc work? "Takuya, come here and pet my hair, I need to be pampered." Clingy as usual but more openly? Probably even more needy and craving of love now that I think about it 🤔 Bc he spends his days by Mikey's side, feeling the constant rejection.
As long as the years keep passing tho, I think Haru starts crumbling. Slowly and just showing lil pieces, but... Have you seeing Bonten Mikey? He looks too much like tl0 Mikey. NO WAY HARU IS NOT GRADUALLY GETTING TRIGGERED WATCHING THE SIMILARITIES GROWING MORE EVERY DAY! *insert screaming cat in here please*
Takuya sees that. He sees that Haru is more burned out every day, but also, that he comes back from his time with Mikey worse and worse every day. More irascible and grumpy, easier to jump and go violent. But also more clingy and a total emotional mess. Nightmares every night? No doubt either. (or at least when he sleeps, ugh)
Where I'm going with this? Welp... We need Takuya getting killed, right? And why? Why did he end up like that? As much as he can be dumb with his friendships, I think Takuya is smart enough to not try to betray Bonten. Especially if he has 💫something💫 with Sanzu. It's a suicide and a way to kill their relationship all at once. Feels odd.
But what if what Takuya did was something different? What if out of worry he started to point out to Haru that he was looking more drained every day? That he should rest from time to time. Small things here and there, that depending on Haru's mood would make him feel touched (someone sees him enough to notice this, someone cares) or annoyed (he can't admit it, he can't stop, remember?)
And Takuya starts feeling a lil confident with saying those things. Bc Sanzu also got softer with the years, more caring in a weird crazy way (he learns to appreciate the only place where he feels seen).
I also have no doubt Takuya has been biting his tongue for years about the fact that Haru runs when Mikey calls or text him. No matter the hour or what he was doing. Literally. Mid sex? Yeah, "sorry Takuya, my king needs me, see you!" (terrible xD)
Maybe one day Sanzu arrives at Takuya more exhausted than usual. He didn't sleep in 3 days, he just want to be hugged and pampered, to not be alone with his own demons. Is painfully obvious that he's so broken, that Takuya feels protective. And oh, Mikey calls Sanzu when he finally fell asleep? And he just answers and says he'll be there in a few minutes? 💀
Takuya explodes. I have a vision of Haru getting dressed and clenching his jaw bc he doesn't have the time to deal with this bullshit, hissing a "careful" as an only warning. While Takuya is saying that this is not normal, that Haru is killing himself for Mikey, for someone who doesn't even appreciate him (will he go as far to say that doesn't deserve it? Unsure, but that is a nice touch, ngl).
That's it. That settles it for Sanzu. Takuya must die, he showed he's not really loyal to Mikey (and what's worse, but Haru won't admit, he told him so truths and put a mirror in front of him)
I can even go further and say the way Sanzu chooses to kill him is totally on purpose. He can't make it personal, can't he? Admit to himself that again, he wanted something of his own? That he craved love and willingly accepted it from someone else that wasn't Mikey? No way, he had that once (Mucho, you'll always hurt 🥲). This time, he kills Takuya with a gun, not katana-chan. And with two other randoms. Because this is not personal, this is business (yeah, keep lying to yourself, Haru)
And the words he says? "Bring down Bonten's hammer of judgment"? Considering Mikey almost never talks and when he does is to Haru.... Yeah, Haru babu, you're Bonten judge and executor. You're the one translating Mikey's will to the rest (what explains why Bonten is so freaking unhinged btw xD).
He is the one judging Takuya. Period.
Also, that "shhh" moment? Pointing out to the three tied people that they should listen to the king, that what Mikey says is law? That feels like a last message to Takuya now.
So, ummmm.... Remember when I said I was about to build a huge harutaku headcanon from nothing? Yeah? Here it was, I hope someone read it until the end and enjoy it xD
(I might add some things later, who knows. But I'm also totally open to others adding to it, let's keep building harutaku together, yey! 💜)

At first sight Chapter Twenty-Two
(m!reader x Bonten!Haruchiyo Sanzu)
Fluff/slash/reader is male/cursing/BontenTimeline/drugs and alcohol mentioned/violence/blood/death
All characters that appeared in the Tokyo Revengers manga and anime belong to Ken Wakui.
Words: 4467
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“Where did you get these papers?” Haruchiyo asked, spreading out the rest of the documents from the folder on your desk.
“From Tekeomi.” You noticed Sanzu tensing his muscles. “He said to forward them to me.”
"Where did HE get it from?" The man asked coldly.
"I don't know. His assistant didn’t mention anything.” You took the dirty glass and took it to the bathroom to rinse off the cigarette ash. You threw the pet into the small trash can and when you looked in the mirror, you saw that Sanzu wasn't the only one who got dirty.
You washed your face and mouth carefully so as not to re-injure the fresh wound and returned to the room just as your companion was talking to someone on the phone. From his icy tone and a few insults, you figured he was talking to his older brother.
“There was no annotation, asshole.” Sanzu growled impatiently. “I don't give a damn that you're in favor of the meeting now. No. No. NO. Fuck you. Yes, talk to him, because he obviously forgot how to do this type of work.”
He hung up, threw his phone on your bed and leaned over the desk again, looking through the papers once more while muttering to himself.
“There is no annotation, I am not blind.”
You grabbed two new glasses from the cabinet and returned to your desk to pour the rest of the alcohol from the bottle into them. You poured it evenly and handed one glass to Sanzu, which he accepted with a nod and took one sip.
“Maybe the guy just forgot to pass on the information…”
“Dude doesn't like you because you work with me. Simple prejudices.” Haruchiyo said. “If he knew what we just did, he would have a twist in his stomach.”
“Maybe then Takeomi would find a less biased assistant?” You asked, making an innocent joke and the man laughed softly.
"What did he tell you?"
“The guy's file is a copy of what they had in the police archives, so it comes from our man. It's not complete because he didn't have the time or opportunity to copy everything, but... For now, this will have to be enough for us.”
"Us?" You took a sip of the alcohol and looked at Sanzu with a little surprise. “I thought the Uchiyama case was unofficially mine alone…”
“Theoretically it is, but due to the fact that Kisaki delegated you back to me…” He gave you a long look from under his long eyelashes. “I won't let you deal with this shit alone.”
“How nice of you, thank you Haruchiyo.” You muttered, setting your empty glass on the cabinet right next to the desk and leaned over the desk, resting your hands on it.
“Know the grace of the lord.” The other one grumbled and you smiled slightly.
“So the real Uchiyama is dead.”
"Yes. The question is who you saw with Emiko.”
“Maybe it's better to ask her herself?”
“What if he cheated on her too?”
“We won't know until we ask.”
“You are prohibited from approaching this bitch.” Sanzu reminded you in a serious tone.
“Then you talk to her.”
“I am forbidden from approaching her alone.” The man coughed and you looked up at him. Ah, yes... Sanzu and his sweet disposition, especially when he's around people who insulted Manjiro Sano, and Emiko never liked Mikey, what you never understood...
“Then we have an impasse.”
Sanzu grimaced in frustration and slammed his hand on the desk. “All we have to do is ask Takeomi for help.”
“Choji mentioned that Hanma was at her place.” You remembered the words of one of Kisaki's bodyguards.
“Hanma?” The man thought for a moment, then quickly walked over to your bed, took his phone and dialed the appropriate number.
You sat down in your chair behind the desk and while waiting for the pink-haired man to finish his conversation, you picked up one of the reports and started reading it.
The man took care of his younger sister's son for some time, but when the boy was four years old he returned to his mother, who filed an indictment against Ryousuke for child molestation - no traces of abuse of the little boy were ever found. False accusations.
Uchiyama reported several times that his sister, Mrs. Sugiyama, was abusing her three children, especially her oldest son, Daisuke...
Why did he interfere? Usually relatives who don't live with the rest of the family don't report such matters... Oh, he lived with them, or rather she lived with him... Now everything was starting to become clear...
You took another sheet of paper and continued reading. In his teens, Daisuke was sent to a reformatory and his two younger siblings were taken away from their mother due to confirmation of Uchiyama's suspicions of his sister's child abuse. And the woman herself was sent to prison for a short term. Correct, but what else did it have to do with Uchiyama and the case?
The man had no wrongdoings, no debts, and his only enemy was his own sister, so...
You reached for another piece of paper and started looking at it. Ah... Here.
“He applied to adopt Daisuke Sugiyama and was granted it.” You said loudly and Sanzu looked at you uncertainly.
"And what about this?"
“Daisuke Sugiyama came to live with him as his legal guardian after he was released from reform school and after a year, Ryousuke Uchiyama suffered a fatal accident. But two months earlier, his mother and Uchiyama's sister committed suicide... Which was reclassified as murder two years ago."
"So?" Sanzu asked, still not understanding, but when you looked at him, you noticed that the gears in his head were turning at full speed.
“What if the guy claiming to be Ryousuke Uchiyama is Daisuke Sugiyama?”
“He would use his relative's personal information?”
“What if he's just doing it informally?”
Haruchiyo thought for a moment and sent a message to someone.
"What are you doing?"
"Give me a moment." He opened the reply message and nodded. “We'll get more information on this Sugiyama thing in a few hours. If you're right, we'll be able to get the fugitive faster."
“Do you think Emiko knew?” You asked after a moment and Sanzu snorted disdainfully.
“She changed her personal details herself, didn't she?”
“This doesn't prove anything yet…”
"Stop. I bet the mother molested her children and the son later took revenge.” He sat down in the armchair with a loud sigh and stretched his legs out in front of him. He took a bottle of pills from his pocket, took two, and set the bottle on the edge of the desk. He rested his head on his hand, and his bright eyes began to stare into the dark glass. “This case was only supposed to be about murdering whores, not some family drama.”
“Most often, one does not exclude the other.” You replied calmly, pouring another portion of alcohol into the glasses. You offered the man one, which he took after a short while and began sipping the drink. “If this abuse also included molestation… And our Ryousuke Uchiyama, it's actually Daisuke Sugiyama…” Sanzu looked at you attentively, waiting for what you would say next. “Maybe that would explain why he hurt Yuuta. My mother once told me that children imitate the behavior of their guardians or people, they consider to be authorities.
“Even when it comes to bad behavior? About harassment? No child likes this..."
“It's not important. How many people do you know who were harmed in childhood at the hands of their parents, for example alcoholics, and now do the same, despite the fact that they know this pain?”
The pink-haired man scratched his cheek and looked away from you. He drained the glass and set it aside next to the drug bottle.
“I know what you're getting at, and I won't deny that you're right…” He frowned and looked at you again, a hint of sarcasm in his voice. “You're not like that.”
"Really?" You asked just as sarcastically, and the room fell silent.
Haruchiyo's bright eyes wandered around your room, stopping at random pieces of furniture or decorations, of which you actually had very little. “Okay, you have episodes.”
“Thank you for your honesty.”
“Are you sure you want to find your son?”
“He's mine and I want to raise him. I owe it to my mother and sisters.” You said, offering Sanzu another glass of alcohol, but this time he refused, so you just poured yourself one and drank it straight away.
“What if you start hurting him?”
“I won't.” You answered with a confident voice, looking at the drink in the glass.
"Where do you get that confidence? You won't deny that you can be aggressive when you drink alcohol, and you like to abuse it."
“Yes, I like drinking alcohol. I'm abusing it, it's true." You drained your glass and looked at the rest of the drink in the bottle. “But I can stop drinking for a long time if I want to…”
“A few days is not a long time.” Sanzu pointed out at you, and you pursed your lips.
“True, but I'm not aggressive without a reason. You know it well that first someone has to seriously threaten people close to me for me to attack.” You raised your index finger and looked carefully at your companion. “And it doesn't matter if I drank or not.”
Sanzu smiled slightly and turned his head to the side. “Children like to throw their caregivers off balance, especially as they grow up.”
“I love my mother too much to raise my hand against a child.”
“You've already done this a few times, remember? That kid in the alley, he was with his friend..."
“The little shit was threatening his schoolmate with a penknife. He deserved a black eye.” You tried to justify yourself as you felt a blush rising to your cheeks. “By the way, he wasn't my kid.”
Sanzu burst out laughing at these words, and a spark of genuine amusement appeared in his eyes. “Tell me, would you be willing to kill for your son?”
“I'm ready to do it.” You replied, making a serious face and the man chuckled softly.
“Oh, interesting, interesting.” He stood up from his armchair, leaned over the desk and grabbed the tip of your chin with his fingers. He looked at you through narrowed eyes for a moment, then he kissed your forehead, your cheek, and when his hand tilted your head slightly, his lips connected with yours in a short kiss, sending a pleasant shiver through your body. “Don't think about it too long.”
He let go of you, took his pills and headed towards the door. You saw him off with sad eyes, because you hoped he would stay at least another hour... And when Sanzu turned around in the doorway to look at you one more time, he smiled broadly and before closing the door behind him, he blew you another kiss. You blushed to the tips of your ears and drank the rest of the alcohol straight from the bottle.
The only consolation was the fact that you would spend the night hunting together, and a shiver of excitement ran through your body.
You went to the window, intending to light a cigarette, which you had already put in your mouth, you opened it and reached out to reach for the ashtray, but your hand found nothing. Your first thought was that Haru's words had come true, and the ashtray had fallen down, but when, feeling a twinge of fear, you leaned out, you didn't notice the missing item either on the path below or on the well-kept lawn. You looked around the windowsill again, thinking your eyes were playing a trick on you, but in fact the windowsill was empty.
With your heart pounding, you began to look around the room and when your eyes landed on a small table with a medium-sized indoor plant on it, you breathed a sigh of relief. Hidden behind one of the large leaves was an ashtray, clean and shiny as new.
You took it in your hand and put it back on the prepared place on the windowsill, took out the lighter and lit a cigarette. You leaned quite comfortably on the windowsill and stuck your head outside. A gentle breeze blew pleasantly across your face, slightly moving your hair, which you hadn't tidied up after Sanzu released it from his grasp, and you smiled to yourself at the memory of the bliss on his beautiful face.
You did it. You gave him pleasure and satisfied him no worse than all those girls who have ever willingly agreed to any sexual activity with such an unpredictable person as Haruchiyo Sanzu. For a moment, you felt so proud of it, as if you were still a teenager and had just experienced your unforgettable first time.
You took a slow and deep drag on your cigarette and looked up at the blue, almost cloudless sky. You wondered what Hanma had already managed to get out of your former fiancée and felt a pang of jealousy that the man could look her in the face. You yourself had many questions for the woman that will never actually be asked, and even if at least some of them are answered, you will never know the whole answer. Shuji promised that he would give you information as soon as he found out something, but you were perfectly aware of the fact that the man would first consult everything with Kisaki and only then, perhaps, he would tell you something.
You understood them, and even though it hurt, you tried not to hold it against them. They were looking out for Bonten's interests, and if you found out anything that could break the camel's back, you would definitely lose control of yourself. You would unleash hell and everything other than revenge would no longer matter to you. You would destroy everything you have built so far, and you would end up with a bullet in your head.
You had an incident that you would rather forget, but on the other hand you will always remember it. You then ended up with a gunshot wound to the chest and the surgeon working for the syndicate told you that you were either extremely lucky that the bullet missed the vital organs, the shooter missed, or it was simply a warning.
You were left with a beautiful scar, and although you vowed to find the shooter and teach him a lesson, you were also grateful that he stopped you. You found out after the fact that any traces you had at the crime scene were destroyed by the chemicals used or by the fire itself. Your action could have seriously harmed everyone, but luckily it ended relatively well.
You blew the smoke through your nose and looked at the glowing tip of the cigarette and you could have sworn you smelled burning flesh again...
You stood in the middle of a spacious room whose decor screamed wealth, wealth, wealth. Behind the large windows you could see the night sky and the lights in the windows of the neighboring buildings, and between them below, the lights of the streets and passing cars. There, it was normal nightlife, and up here... You were the only one alive, or so you thought.
From behind the once white sofa, now almost completely splattered with blood, you heard the man's long, pained groan and your head turned in that direction. You saw one of your victims try to crawl away, but their hands were slipping in puddles of thick, red liquid. You watched him with interest, as if you were watching an animal documentary on TV. You couldn't remember exactly, but you could have sworn you shot the guy at least five times...
“God, let me live… God help me…” The distraught man whispered, his voice choking, and when you moved closer to him so that he could see you, he froze in his tracks. He lifted his head with difficulty and looked at you with fear in his eyes. “Oh God, oh God…”
You crouched down to get a better look at the man and after a moment you recognized him. He was the head of a smaller gang who tried to harm the flourishing Bonten. He was spreading false things about Manjiro Sano, which in itself was a death sentence, but the worst part for you was that he was trying to deceive and frame Haruchiyo Sanzu. It was already a death wish and you decided to fulfill it.
"Please don't... I'm begging you, spare my life..." The man sobbed, clenching his bloody hands into fists and pressing his forehead to the floor. “I learned my lesson, and I will never make that mistake again…”
"You're right." You replied calmly, slightly raising your hand in which you still held the gun. You had already used up the three full clips you had brought with you, and now you were about to finish things off with a fourth. "Look at me."
The man obeyed and his forehead came into contact with the barrel of your gun. Indescribable terror appeared in his eyes, red with tears, and almost animal moans and sobs began to escape from his mouth.
“You will never make a mistake again.” You squeezed the trigger and felt more drops of blood land on your face.
You got up and checked the rest of the seven bodies to make sure no one else had survived. You calmly walked through all the rooms of the apartment and in the bedroom, you found two more bodies lying motionless on the floor. Blood trails leading from the door indicated that the bullets had hit their target as they tried to leave the room.
You nodded in satisfaction and walked over to the large bag you had brought with you. You took out a can of gasoline and started pouring it on the bodies, carpets, curtains and furniture. You didn't think about the consequences then. You also didn't think about the neighboring apartments at that time, because you knew that no one lived on this floor and the two floors below. It was a relatively new building and it belonged entirely to the man you had just shot. This made everything easier for you, especially since the monitoring was still not working and the technician wouldn't show up until the next day.
You put the empty canister down and took the lighter out of your pocket. You looked around again to make sure you were standing in a safe place and threw the lighter at the bodies, which immediately caught fire. The flames spread throughout the rooms in the blink of an eye and soon you felt the stench of burning hair and heat.
At that moment you should have turned around and left, but you couldn't. The flames were so beautiful, and you began to feel them cleansing you of the crime you had just committed. You didn't hear the apartment door open with a bang...
“L/n! What the fuck did you do?!” You heard someone's voice, but you didn't react. “L/n!”
Your eyes noticed movement among the largest gathering of bodies, and it dawned on you that someone had managed to trick you... You pulled out your gun again and aimed...
“L/n! Enough! Get out of here before it all burns down!” Someone turned you around by the arm and you looked into Rindou Haitani's violet eyes.
"I did not finish." You replied briefly and looked back towards the still alive man who was flailing on the floor in flames.
“Go away or we'll shoot you!” Someone else shouted, but you didn't know who, you pulled the trigger, and the burning man froze. The smell of burning flesh was already in the air, and the air was unbearably hot.
“Rindou, leave him!” Ran shouted worriedly, as if sensing what might happen next.
You felt Rindou trying to pull you towards the exit, so in the simplest of reflexes you aimed at his head and... You felt a hit on your chest, though you hadn’t saw the blow and as the younger Haitani took your gun, and you felt wetness trickle down your chest and stomach, and it dawned on you that you had been shot.
It was enough to snap you out of your trance...
“Fuck…” You whispered, pressing your hand to the wound and falling to one knee. You didn't know who shot because there were a few other guys from Bonten standing in the doorway and almost all of them had a gun at the ready.
“L/n! Y/n!” Rindou shouted and grabbed your arm on one side, and his older brother appeared on the other. “Cover all the tracks!” He gave the order and two of the gang rushed forward to deal with the traces of your blood. “Don't try to faint, much less try to die, L/n!”
You were taken out of the apartment where the temperature was already unbearably high. You felt yourself starting to lose consciousness, but you didn't feel any pain, which surprised you...
“If you die, Sanzu will kill you!” Rindou shouted slightly panicked.
"I would like to see that." An angry Ran replied half-jokingly.
When a gust of cold air from outside the building hit your face...
That was the last thing you remembered. A cold gust of air and darkness. You didn't even remember taking the elevator all the way down, and you had to do it because the burning apartment was on the twelfth floor.
You took a drag on your cigarette and slowly blew the smoke out the window where you were standing. You regained consciousness only after a few days, and the first thing you heard after the doctor left was a scolding from Haruchiyo Sanzu, who looked terrible at the time. You later heard from Kakucho that when number two left your room, he took so many drugs that he slept for almost two whole days. I came close to overdosing. You promised yourself then that you would never lose your temper again.
You didn't remember how you got into that building, when and who started shooting... You only remembered the events from the moment you found the man behind the sofa.
You put out your cigarette in the ashtray on the windowsill and closed the window. You stood there for a moment and looked at the clouds floating in the sky. It was after that incident that Sanzu started holding you closer to him, as if he was afraid to let you out of his sight for too long. It quickly stopped bothering you, you got used to it and you were grateful that he didn't abandon you. You did it for him and everyone was aware of the fact that, if need be, you would do it again without hesitation.
You sat back at your desk and opened Ryousuke Uchiyama's file folder again and started reading the reports from the beginning. Before long, your phone rang, and you looked at the screen to see that the call was coming from your coffee shop.
You furrowed your eyebrows in surprise and answered the call. “Y/n L/n on the phone, I'm listening.”
“Boss, this is Asahi…” You heard a woman's voice sounding uncertain, which didn't happen often. “I'm sorry if I'm disturbing you, but there was a customer at the café today who would really like to meet you…”
“About what?” You asked, feeling strangely anxious.
“He said it was a private matter... I had never seen this man before. He didn't look suspicious and I think he was in his sixties...” Came the reply and your mind couldn't place any of your newest enemies who might somehow discover that you were the owner of the coffee shop.
“I understand, Asahi-chan. Did this customer introduce himself?” You asked calmly, still going through the names in your head and trying hard to match them to the man's age given by your employee.
“Ah, he left his card. I have it in my hand...” You heard the gentle rustle of clothes and heard a woman's voice on the phone again. “Detective and Security Services, Tsuyoshi L/n.”
Tsuyoshi L/n... All the blood drained from your face and an icy chill ran down your spine. It is impossible...
“Can you tell me the spelling of the ending shi, please?” You tried to keep your voice steady, but you couldn't hide all your anxiety and there was silence on the phone for a moment.
“Is everything okay, boss?” The woman asked worriedly.
“Yes, yes... Please, Asahi-chan. Spelling of the ending..."
“Ah, of course. The kanji shi is written as in will, purpose.”
Tsuyoshi... So many years have passed...
“Alright, thank you. Did the man have any distinguishing marks?”
“Hmm... A thin scar near his left ear.” The woman answered after a moment and your heart skipped a beat and the blood began to rush back to your face.
"Thank you. Was he clearly visible on the cameras?”
“Boss?”
"Answer me please. Nothing bad is happening. I just want to make sure... It could be a member of my family that I haven't seen in a while and someone has been impersonating him multiple times trying to contact me.” You explained calmly, knowing that Asahi would connect the facts you just talked about with the story you shared with her three years ago.
“Ah! I see!" The woman laughed uncertainly, and you smiled slightly, feeling relieved. “Yes, we have him on recordings. Should I send you a frame from the video where he will be visible?”
“Yes, great idea my dear. I would be grateful."
“Okay, I'll do it. Please give me a few minutes.” You said goodbye to the woman and the call ended.
Tsuyoshi. Detective and security services. Yes, so far everything was consistent with what you remembered and knew. Even the scar next to his ear and his age... Still, you had to see for yourself. Too many people have tried to get closer to you by using this character.
A multimedia message notification arrived on your phone and you opened the photo. The video frame was quite good quality and perfectly showed the face of the coffee shop customer who was trying to contact you.
A tall man in his sixties, gray hair combed neatly and elegantly... A good quality suit, typical for the middle class. Still a handsome face and piercing eyes. It was definitely him, and you hadn't seen him in over 10 years. Tsuyoshi L/n, your dear father's younger brother.

Shio, Satsuki and Goshiki are the only ones talking. Satsuki asks for change, Goshiki shows how that could do that, Shio says what it's for. They're also the only ones we see holding a whiskey glass.
Goshiki and Shio are sitting face to face on chairs. There's another one, empty, next to Goshiki (and presumably next to Shio, too) but Satsuki prefers to stand.
If there's a sibling other than Satsuki to work with Shio, it's Goshiki. If there's a sibling to use connections to have some sort of advantages, it's Goshiki. He sits across Shio, in such settings he mirrors Shio's position. And while Goshiki's sentence could've ended there, Shio completes it. There's something going on here.
Reri is the one standing the furthest. She's sitting at the bar and listens to them, no doubts about that, but not only doesn't she partake in the conversation, she also has her back turned away from them. Like we saw during the funerals, she doesn't seem that interested in the family business unlike her brothers.
The others do the same but show they're listening, despite not participating. It's a bit hard to say for Shikaba, but if he's not listening (he doesn't seem to care much) I'm sure Taira would sum it up for him.
Kou is probably not here since he was Kuran's vice chief back then and the Ikebukuro branch babied him, refusing to see him as a person rather than just Botan's little brother they had to protect. If he was there, Wakui would've find a way to put him in the panel instead of off screen. Hibaru and Terasu are not there for obvious reasons.
Those seven are the only ones shown when Hibaru talks about the diamond bond. One reason could be that they're the one managing most of the family business but ehh we'll have to wait and see if that's the case. Here, Shio and Goshiki stand the farther away from each other. Don't know what it could mean tho. Despite Hibaru's talk it's pretty clear the diamond bond doesn't mean they're close.
#in this specific chapter theres also the fact goshiki is wearing the same three-piece suit as shio but in black#and theyre both wearing a watch#but dunno if its *that* relevant#also when we see him again in chapter 3 is also holding a whiskey glass#wait. ohhhh#thats for another post#negai no astro#astro royale#nna#goshiki yotsurugi#nna goshiki#goshiki astro royale#goshiki negai no astro#nna shio#shio yotsurugi#shio negai no astro#shio astro royale#satsuki yotsurugi#nna satsuki#nna shikaba#nna taira#nna torazo#shikaba yotsurugi#taira yotsurugi#torazo yotsurugi

TR is usually pretty grounded with naturally occurring hair colors, with any bizarre ones being dyed typically. I'm curious about Mitsuya, though. Do you think the silver-lilac tone is meant to be his natural color? If that's the case, I find it interesting he and his sisters all have different coloring (maybe they have different fathers? Not sure if that's meant to be an implication, but since we don't know what any of his other relatives look like, it's really just speculation we can't be sure about. Interesting to think on though). I know in some futures, we see Mitsuya with black or black-streaked hair, but it's kind of unclear if that's his true color or just dyed like certain future Mikeys. Even the youngest Mitsuya we see already has silver-lilac hair (though we see Draken of a similar age, already blonde (and I'm pretty convinced his natural hair is black at least), so it's not impossible or anything that he could already be dyeing it by then). I guess this is a long-winded way of asking what you think about various characters' natural hair colors. I know some of them have a lot of debate, like the Haitanis and Sanzu, and others are generally agreed upon (like Mikey being a natural blonde, even though that's genetically strange to me... we can probably assume Makoto Sano was naturally blonde, too (for whatever reason...) and Mikey got it from him, despite Sakurako's dark hair generally being more dominant. The other natural blondes we know are Emma and South, who are either implied or confirmed to have mixed blood, so it makes a bit more sense for them. At the end of the day, you could say it's anime logic and doesn't matter, which, yeah, but that's a lot less fun imo). But others, I haven't seen talked about as much (i.e., Izana or the Kawata twins - Izana's hair's been white since at least like,, age 7, right?? That doesn't seem normal... 🤔 and the twins still sport colorful hair in their earliest childhood flashbacks, so there's really no way of knowing what their natural hair looked like, assuming the orange and blue are not that. It's a bit funny to think perhaps they dyed their hair to match their eyes, respectively, lol). And it's not really so strange for these elementary aged kids in particular to have dyed hair when many of them come from families with guardians who might be absent or negligent and not care if their child is perceived as a social hoodlum (*wanna be clear I don't care if kids dye their hair, just noting its association with delinquency in Japan). This got all rambly and out of control, but I'd like to hear your hair analysis thoughts. Which ones do we pretty confidently know, and which ones do you have some theories/headcanons about?
See I'm sure that at the start Wakui was going to keep the colour's as natural as possible, with the more wild colour's being dyed. Then as the story went on he just kinda decided to go wild with the colour's. So I do think a lot of them are just anime logic now, like Sanzu and Senju both having pink and having very pink eyelashes and those colour's since they were kids. I think the S62 are pretty clear too since we see them in juvie with very short hair. I think Mikey's is definitely blonde, especially after seeing Makoto's blonde hair and seeing Mikey being so young with his light hair.
Honestly Mitsuya is the hardest one to say but I think he does have naturally lavender hair. Mainly because he had that hair since he was young and grew up in different circumstances to Draken. Draken knew he wanted to be a delinquent since young and would've likely had easy access to hair dye considering where he grew up. But it's definitely not set in stone, it's one of those things where both sides of the argument have valid points.

Ok, so, I just randomly decided to make a list of Top 10 hottest (male) TR charcters... No idea why, it just popped in my head, lmao.
I wrote this 97% for the lolz, so don't take it too seriously.
So, here it is:
Top 10 Hottest Guys of Tokyo Revengers
10. MITSUYA - It's common knowledge that he's the Husband Material ™️ of the series! He was introduced as this responsible, mature, reliable guy with a somewhat eccentric hobby, and you may be into the cool, calm, collected, talented, kind ones, who're good with kids and house chores, but you can't convince me that your ovaries didn't do a happy little backflip with his glow-up in the last arc! You just know he's a little devil behind that whole boy-next-door act. 😏
9. SHIN - Ok, throughout the most part of the story, he was just Mikey's dead brother, who Mikey himself led us to believe was weak, generally lame, and a hopeless loser with women. Then we got the flashback chapters in the last arc, and what did we see? Capable, hardworking, caring, loving, selfless, persistant man, strong both in a fight and in holding his ground. Hell, he cared for vegetative Mikey for four years, pretty much all alone, sacrificing his own dreams and life in the process. Also, black turtlenecks and bomber jackets. That's all I'm gonna say.
8. HANMA - Who doesn't love a bit of occasional insanity?! The ultimate troll, both in the verse and in the fandom, tricked us all good! That's just how bored he was. Annoying, completely random and unpredictable, grinning madman who's only there to watch the world burn, by setting it ablaze with his own hotness! I mean, tall, tattoed, well dressed, cocky, handsome bastard, with sleepy eyes, anyone?! I hate the fact that he's giving an inexplicably strong 'boyfriend vibe'! But, I just wanna call him 'Shuuji'... 🤭
7. HAKKAI - This cutie is criminally underrated and slept on! I know Wakui did him dirty by not giving him a more complex personality than just a Mitsuya simp, but look at him! Tall, handsome, strong, blue eyes, lip scar, piercing. No wonder he ended up with a modeling career! And on top of the stunning looks, he's just a pure, shy baby! 🥺 Makes you wanna tease and corrupt the hell out of him! 🤭 Besides, his implied clinginess and loyalty suggest he's a keeper, and if that isn't hot, I don't know what is!
6. MIKEY - The definition and the school example of that old proverb - the strongest poisons are kept in the tiniest flasks. Yes, having incredible fighting prowess is hot, being a capable leader is hot, having endless authority is hot, being "emo" is hot, being painfully cute is hot... We don't care that he's pocket sized (and mentally unstable), with his endless charisma, our favorite gang leader very well deserved his place on this list!
5. WAKA - Simply, he's sexy and he knows it. And we know it. You know it. Your grandma knows it. Everyone knows it. Teen or adult, law abiding citizen or a crime lord, the White Leopard could make anyone anywhere fall for him at the snap of his fingers! ...if he only cared enough to do so, tho.
4. KOKO - Intelligent, smart, sassy, sarcastic, and plain insolent = perfection. This cheeky, well-read, super stylish, handsome motherfucker had us fawning over his strong, passion-driven personality, hidden under the cool façade. What's not to love about a blindly devoted guy?! It doesn't matter if it's the devotion to a cause or a person he deems important (#lucky Inui siblings). But fair be fair, that habit of sticking his tongue out should be X rated...
3. BAJI - If his fiery, man-among-the-men personality, undying loyalty, and endless kindness aren't enough to make you burn like a car, just take a look at that perfectly chiseled face, cocky smirk, and glorious raven locks! Still not convinced? Well, you're either blind, dead, or not into guys at all! We should actually be grateful that his adult version was only ever shown at the very last chapter, cause anything more than that would have been beyond too hot to handle!
2. KAZUTORA - There's just something indescribably magnetic about the whole "redeemed sinner" trope, and that alone would have been enough to get him a spot on this list! But since he also happens to have the handsomest face in the show, a beauty mark under the eye, the cutest smile, a piercing, a tattoo, and a fair amount of badassery and strength, it all sums up to the total of our dear banana tiger being the runner-up!
1. HARUCHIYO - Does this one really need any explanation? Pathological loyalty is beyond hot, wearing a mask is hot, scars are super hot (as already established), suits are hot, piercings are hot, long lashes are hot, pale blond/albino is hot, green eyes are hot, skillfully wielding a sword is hot, smarts are hot, being a little bit deranged is hot... the list could really go on for days, there's literally nothing about him that doesn't make him hot. "...Being a homicidal maniac and a drug addict?" No, he's excused for all red flags on the account of pretty privilege!

I hated the tr ending so badly. Not because it was rushed or anything. Wakui could have fleshed out the last timeline so thoroughly and logically and I would still hate it because the ending itself goes against what I felt the story stood for in the first place. He replaced all the characters for fakes, none of the characters we were intoduced to had happy endings because they either are totally different people or re lived their life to avoid healing. The ending basically proved izanas last words right "there's no saving me" yeah I guess not if the only way to help everyone is to make sure their lives never happened the way it did. Horrible I hate it so much. Also one ship I hate is rinzu or ranzu because they don't even interact once and it's so popular for no fucking reason other than "its hot" and tbh they would prolly hate eachother like petty bitches, they would NOT get along at any point. Also Koko and amane ship because if people actually read the manga with their eyes open it would not make sense. Anyways thanks for letting me be a hater in ur askbox, I love your blog btw
This is long, also tw for typical tokrev themes and sa
I think you're the first person who has the same opinion as me lmao😭. I also didn't believe it should have had an ending like that at all because of the themes that had been set up during the entire story. I understand people's perspectives of "It's Wakui's manga and it's his ending he can do what he wants" but media is supposed to be talked about, discussed and even criticized at times. That's like, the whole point of publishing stuff. As an enjoyer and supporter of Wakui's manga, I feel like I have the right to question some inconsistencies and contradictions (not directly attack him tho, that's never okay. like people who send death threats over ships and stuff that's messed up) that showed up in the ending. I also believe lots of people didn't really take it seriously as a manga idk. It had some very serious topics that people seem to forget about. For example: suicide, abuse, abandonment, child neglect, substance abuse, extreme violence, rape, prostitution etc, and I think people just kinda see it as a silly manga that has cool characters they like. And that's okay. It's okay to not take a piece of media seriously and enjoy it for the sake of enjoying it, not everything needs to be critically analyzed, but stop shitting on the people who take it seriously enough to question why the fuck it ended how it ended. Lots of the discourse took place between critical analysers who wanted an author to finish the manga by sticking to the themes and messages he has set up the entire time versus casual enjoyers who just wanted everyone to be happy for the sake of liking the characters. And I completely agree with the Izana thing!!!! You cannot claim to have saved someone by rewriting their entire life!!! Takemitchy was not supposed to be god!! Also, isn't the moral story of time travel that you should never ever do it? Because you win some, you lose a whole lot fucking more. I thought Draken dying was setting up that narrative. That saving Mikey, was gonna fuck up a whole lot. Isn't that why Chifuyu broke down?
Idk about you guys, but dark impulses being a curse disappointed me quite a bit. I thought it was supposed to be a symbol of Mikey being deeply mentaly ill. And that he had to deal with it head on and not run away all the time (this was Takemichi's entire storyline basically and the the main theme of TR). I just feel like it sucked because the message of the ending, whether Wakui intended it or not, was that you can't be fixed without magical time traveling. Although the story had some fictional aspects, it was realistic at least. I thought they'd deal with everything that wasn't time travel realistically.
Any ship with Sanzu and the Haitani's is hilarious to me and although I don't ship any of them seriously, the fanarts fun to look at some time (and you're right I think they look good together cause they're hot😭). You are completely correct about them not liking each other tho. It's actually canon. Idk if you remember during the three deities fight when Ran hit Haruchiyo with his baton? Nothing but pure malice between their eyes😭. The Koko and Akane ship actually triggers me because one thing about me? I'm not comfortable with large age gaps. Akane was 5 years older than Koko💀. And I didn't know people took what she said to him seriously. I thought she was just trying to not hurt his feelings? Koko and Inupi were around 7/8 when the fire happened. Meaning Akane was like 12/13. Uhhh Idk bout y'all but I don't think a 13 yo would be attracted to someone that young. And waiting for them to be of age is...😶. Be fr.
#ty for the ask <3#anon this took me so long to write but i enjoyed it#i'm so serious about this tokyo revengers shit😭#tokyo revengers#tokyo revengers manga#tokrev#tokyo rev#rinzu#ranzu#koko x akane#thanks for liking my blog i always appreciate your support and ily#tw: sa mention

Could you please write a small story about a party for Benkei's birthday? I legit got so upset when he didn't get a birthday illustration from Wakui </3
YOU FUCKING BET I WILL
I was shooketh and sort of bummed, but this is fine. Everything is fine.
Planned Surprise: Keizo Arashi x Reader
wc: 631
tw: a smidgen of smut, y'all, and College AU! (I fucking love College AU)
masterlist
Keizo's still dreaming when he feels the bed sink a little next to him. He's still half-in, half-out when he feels your lips press against his cheek. And then there's a soft, "Happy birthday, Big Guy." Keizo tries to pull himself out of the ether when you slither across his skin, holding him close and placing your head on his chest.
He hums low, making you giggle as his hand comes up to stroke your back.
"Just one more hour," Keizo grumbles, cracking open one eye.
"So you don't want your birthday surprise?" Fingers tug at his boxers, and Keizo opens his eyes quickly, watching you pull at the waistband leisurely.
"You're trying to kill me, baby," he grumbles, tossing the sheet aside and giving you a wicked grin. "Take a man out in his sleep by giving him head, why don't you?"
"Is that a yes?" you wonder innocently, batting your eyelashes at your boyfriend. Your hand fishes his dick out of his pants, and he grunts once, lacing his hands through your hair. Your lips kiss down his length and back up again, and finally, Keizo whispers a long "yes..." as your lips close around his tip.
"Happy birthday!"
Keizo comes down the stairs, thoroughly showered and dressed, with you trailing behind him. His Beta Rho Alpha brothers set off little confetti poppers as he joins them in the kitchen.
"We know you don't like big parties," Takeomi begins, a lazy smile spread across his face. "So we decided to do a little brunch thing. We have orange juice!" Shinichiro proudly holds up the jug of orange juice.
"We have pancakes!" Mitsuya turns from the stove and gives everyone a thumbs-up, hand poised to flip a pancake. "We've got fruit!" Wakasa sits idly at a table, a dango stick stuck in his mouth as he points at the fruit lazily. "And we have alcohol!" Draken and Inupi hold up various bottles of alcohol, and Keizo laughs heartily, wiping his eyes at the sight of his frat brothers preparing all this for him.
"This is great. Thank you, guys," he murmurs, and Shin emits an "aww" at his comment. He places the orange juice down on the table and comes over to hug his friend, whispering,
"You're so old now. So fucking old."
"I'm only one year younger than you," Keizo reminds him, patting his head.
"Still Brother Bear," Shin adds, patting his back. "Big Ol' Brother Bear."
"And we couldn't have put any of this shit together without y/n playing distractor," Takeomi mentions, motioning toward you. "Gave us a shit-ton of time." Keizo and you both turn a little red, but everyone seems to be too into the prospect of getting wasted at breakfast to really notice.
"Can't wait 'til you see what I got you," Waka chuckles, elbowing Keizo in the ribs while picking up a pancake. "You're gonna love this year's gift."
"If it's another scary movie, I'm gonna--"
"I'm making mimosas!" Inupi yells over the ruckus, holding a champagne glass with flushed cheeks.
"How much have you had?" You question Inupi, who dodges your inquiry deftly with a simple "more than you've had" and an added wink and wiggle of the brows.
"Fill my cup up," you demand, and the man happily concocts your drink.
"I knew you'd see it my way... Waka! Do you want another mimosa?"
Various shouts of "no" echo around the kitchen, but Waka dances his way over to Inupi anyway.
"Make mine extra strong."
"Just one day," Keizo mutters, rolling his eyes. "One Saturday without drinking?"
"Impossible," Waka tosses back, shrugging. "It's your birthday!" And Keizo would never admit it out loud, but seeing his friends enjoying themselves for his birthday was the best present he could ever receive.

Okay, now that this season is over, in fact, i'm glad it was over because I did not feel that it was a season at all, i hate that they basically did not change the opening because it seemed to portray them as lazy or whatnot. The animation always teetered to okay to oh that's not, as I mentioned the obvious and tacky animation of them running to the character, so much for building up the suspense or surprise, in a span of 13 episodes, there are only few that I actually remember, not exactly since Tenjiku is such a scarring arc but Naoto's death, Taiju's fight scene and that Shinichiro flashback scene, like that's the scenes where I was actually impressed, I basically kept skipping the episode because of how lazy and ugly they appeared.
Like, I forgot Tenjiku was supposed to be a heartwrenching arc when all I felt was disappointment, sure, that's on me, I cared about the quality much more than the fact we see the characters animated, but I just wished for proper execution, like a girl can dream and set expectations, you know? Again I don't wish for MAPPA quality animation, I want season 1's animation because that was one of the factors that skyrocketed Tokyo Revengers, why it had the fanbase it had today, the visuals, the openings and the animation was everything, visually appealing, may have been done before but it showed a promising start and that's what gets people going when they start a series or anime especially since black and white characters are coming to life.
I liked the added scenes but the unnecessary ones like again, episode 1, there was no need to take away Smiley's spotlight, since it is the arc in which he is very prominent, Takemichi will have his own spotlight but nah, just give him a win that's from the manga later on which is important because that win was supposed to build up the hype we'd feel for him as he punches Kakucho because we've seen his POV which details all his sufferings, what he went through, what had him go on. Like did they forget Takemichi actually had some wins, very important ones: Kisaki vs TakemichI?
I swear Lidensfilm lost their copy and couldn't tell Wakui or go online to read it and tried their best to remember.
And the unnecessary censorship, like sure, blood, guts but not skulls or tattoos come onnn, why did Disney + have access to this series, give it back to netflix and crunchyroll.
In all the animes I watched the third season has always been peak; MHA, Haikyuu, AOT and I've always loved and cherished them but yeah, this one definitely at the bottom of my rankings unless the upcoming seasons wish to disappoint then well, I'm just sad I won't be able to do my edits. And it didn't even feel like a season, like yes it's a continuation of season 2 so it would be stupid for me to say that but seasons in anime have their own identity? You know?
I just hope now that it's over, Lidenfilms actually slows down and takes their time for the next season especially the upcoming season because it's the BONTEN ARC and everyone loves the Bonten Arc, trust me, Lidenfilms wouldn't want to fumble this arc, this arc changed lives like seriously omg, mine included. So they better straighten the fuck up or i swear to god, i'm actually going to cry
But yeah regardless, since it's tokrev and i have a soft spot for it forever, so i did enjoy it somehow.
#like idc if it loses popularity#ppl are going to come back or be drawn into the bonten arc trusttt#jfc i can't believe the tenjiku arc is done and we're few steps into the final arc#WHY IS IT ENDING SO SOONN NOOO#be like aot pls#tokyo revengers#tokrev#tokyorev#tokyo rev

(making a new post so i don't have to scroll for days getting to the bottom of it skjdfh) @ttkinnie
hell yea i've started writing it (人 •͈ᴗ•͈) except now it's hanma, takemichi AND naoto being dads skfjsh i just HAD to include that guy. i thought it'd make sense (somehow) for all three of them to get transported to the past after a time leap gone wrong. long story short naoto and (unconscious)takemichi got kidnapped shortly after naoto killed mikey, and izana wants to use their power to prevent shin's murder in the past. except izana's been torturing naoto while waiting for takemichi to wake up bc he's not exactly the most stable guy out there, esp after mikey's death. when he sees naoto's state, michi runs to him and tries to shake his hand so he can make sure this future never happens, but hanma (who was tasked with guarding takemichi while he was out cold) tries to stop him, and the moment the three of them come into contact they get sent to the past, in like 1998. now they have nothing left but the clothes on their back, and they'll have to start from scratch in this nostalgic era... and eventually realize their past friends are still there, but they're all baby. i think hanma and naoto would have some nice parallels, each living essentially for one person, giving away everything for them (hanma following kisaki's orders and naoto trying to save his sister) but now that person is gone and their version in this world doesn't even know they exist... the angst. plus naoto really looks like kisaki at times. he's got them cold blue-grey eyes too. i think hanma would like him (he's got a thing for short (average-sized but everyone's short to him) kings with murderous thoughts). naoto would just wanna kill him & kisaki & izana though (even though the last two are still kids. getting tortured really didn't help fix that side of him). takemichi is gonna have to handle these two absolute menaces to society now skfhdf (watch me make this a romantic comedy + found family somehow despite the fucked up setting i started out with)
i understand the need to make your special guy suffer u_u that's just how it is sometimes (my current fave guy to hit with hammers is naoto, i hope i can write some good stuff with him for the server too)
absolutely love these murder plots for kisaki (a normal sentence) especially the part where he makes takemichi watch helplessly *giggles cutely* and him jamming communications is a+ evil mastermind stuff (people being completely at a loss for what to do the moment you take away their usual technology from them is always super fun and scary to think about). mikey being used to lure the others into a trap?? hell yeah B-)
hehehe there's just something about villains being a little good and heroes being a little bad :^) it's unexpected it's exciting and it just freaking rules tbh
wakui writing tr's main antagonist and tr's main love interest: "what if they were both obsessed with takemichi, to the point where we find out that even a dozen years later they still hadn't moved on from him at all? yes perfect." (need to write ot3 fic for them eventually... either this or hina gets a gf. i have GOT to stop making her sit it out in the cuck chair when she could have two utterly dedicated and loving husbands instead)
#i'm so glad the whump prompts have helped! there's a whump event for pretty much every month and they all have silly names skjfsdkh#also IM SO SORRY ABOUT NOT ANSWERING THE EMAILS YET IVE BEEN SO BUSY#<- it's fine dw i'm juggling with wips right now and will probably not finish one any time soon so theres no rush#murder cw#arson cw#wip talk

can I request hanma with yes to heaven by Lana del Rey? Thanks 💞
hiiiii
Pairing: Hanma Shuji x Fem! Reader Warnings: liquor, smoking Length: 504 Song: Lana del Rey – Yes To Heaven
MINORS DO NOT INTERACT
You wanted him the moment you saw him. You needed him. All golden curls and a devil’s grin, he was a walking honeytrap, set just for you.
You watched him from across the room, laughing and smoking with the rest of his gangsters. You had come here with someone else. But you wanted to leave with him. You stared, unabashed, caught in the golden glitter of champagne and sparkles, of ball gowns and marble floors.
He saw you, saw you watching, and he grinned. He looked for your date, long gone into the throngs of Tokyo’s underworld. You were alone, and ripe for the taking. He sidled up to you, limbs languid and liquor-fuelled.
“Hi there, doll” he drizzled charm over your dazzling skin, a serpent curling his way around your pretty throat. “Hi there, yourself,” you smiled smoothly.
“The name’s Hanma. Hanma Shuji,” he gave a flourish of his hands and you grinned, shaking his hand daintily. “I know who you are,” you smirked, but you did not give your name away. “Do you dance?” you asked, and he glimmered at you.
“If it’s you I’m dancing with,” he answered, his golden serpent’s tongue slithering from between his teeth to lick at his enlarged canines. He let you lead him ont the dance floor, folding yourself easily into his toned arms. He held you firmly, his chest flush with yours, and he took a step into a dance. It was a dreamy dance, full of blissful notes and drowsy diamond-studded sounds. He twirled you out, admiring your dress, admiring your figure in the dress. “You’re gorgeous,” he told you, spinning you back into his arms. Your hand rested lightly on his shoulder and you smiled, “I could say the same to you,” you whispered, letting him lean in to catch your words. He grinned brightly, the shine of a thousand stars dim in comparison to the fiery sun of his smile. He danced as he walked, slowly, steadily, with a hint of swagger in his wake, spinning you around until you were dizzy, dizzy and drunk over the soft scent of cinnamon and cloves radiating from his skin. “I need a smoke,” He said, grabbing your hand and leading you out into the dark. You stood on a balcony, the ocean of the city splashed out beneath you in a myriad of neon and sparkling lights. You watched as he lit up, the cherry of his smoke lighting up his face and flickering across his features. The scent of cinnamon swum over you, heady and mystifying, He pulled you to his side, offering you his smoke, which you took gingerly between your lips and puffed, fighting thee urge to cough at the tickle in the back of your throat. His hand slipped below your waist, warm on the small of your back, pulling you till your chests were flush together. He looked down at you, staring at the stars shimmering in your eyes.
“Tell me, sweetheart, what will it take to have you as my woman?

so i know i asked you all if i should post about the ending but in the end I COULDN'T HELP MYSELF, I'M SORRY, tr ending discussion under the cut
as a summary of my previous thoughts on the ending... my number one problem with it has always been the lack of an explanation for how mikey/takemichi managed to leap back in time together. to me, this makes it seem like they just got lucky that the leap worked at all, which ruins the theme of "you shouldn't take on your burdens alone/rely on your friends a little."
the reason it ruins it is because it comes across as like... mikey was right to push everyone away, because when he finally gave into his impulses and trusted takemichi like he told him to, he LITERALLY KILLED TAKEMICHI. and it was seemingly just luck that they both managed to go back??
i have, however, had thoughts since then which make the ending work a bit more for me personally. mostly, that the reason the curse was broken/they were able to go back was still ultimately a direct result of mikey deciding to trust takemichi/breaking the mindset of "i have to take everything on alone." specifically, in part because he trusted takemichi to save him and "gave into" the dark impulses, but mostly because in the moment takemichi was dying, he begged him to come back. basically he was asking takemichi for help; asking him to prove his beliefs right - that mikey should and can rely on others, and that it's okay to do so. basically i'm trying to help the ending to make thematic sense (to me), is the idea.
now... that's interpretation of the final leap is kind of a stretch. and not really stated or implied in canon, unfortunately. BUT i do think there's some symbolism to support it, like the heavy emphasis placed on mikey's tears that are implied to play a reason in why the leap worked (at least that's what it looked like to me??). mikey has been set up as a character who believes that crying is weakness, so seeing him openly cry represents the shedding of that belief/being willing to ask for help.
but anyway i've said all this before, so what are my new thoughts? well, not much tbh WHOOPS but in the past, i interpreted the dark impulses as being a result of not the curse on shinichiro/karma directly - the punishment for THAT was shinichiro's death at kazutora's hands. instead, mikey's DI are more a circumstantial result of him having been dead in the previous timeline.
and also in the past, i said that the DI appear due to his desire to not rely on others, and are therefore broken when he admits he needs help. i still hold to that, but now i also really like the idea of like... they also come about as a result of him believing he doesn't deserve to be saved, & that he can't be saved?? and therefore it's not just him admitting he needs help that breaks the curse - but also him admitting that he wants to be saved at all. maybe even coming to believe that he deserves it, or at least that he wants a future with everyone.
after all, he DID technically manage to save everyone (but himself) in the bonten timeline. it's not just that he needs help because he can't save everyone by himself. it's also that he needs help so that he can save himself, too, and that he deserves to be a part of that happy future he created for everyone as well.
does that... make sense?? at all?? lmao i feel like it's a meaningful distinction a bit, but idk if i phrased it in a way that makes that clear or that is indeed coherent at all. regardless though. those are my ending headcanons. but god i wish wakui implied all this a little more than what we got KSJFHDSKF
#ooc#headcanons.#ending talk.#but also!! it's not just takemichi who saved mikey! everyone else did too!#without relying on the whole of the new tokyo manji gang takemichi wouldn't have been able to do what he did.#similarly#mikey did manage to protect everyone! he's not as weak/powerless as he might fear he is. BUT.#being protected alone isn't what would make everyone happy. to save EVERYONE; he needed to rely on others.#to save himself; he couldn't bear everyone's burdens alone. only by admitting he needed help could everyone be saved in the end.#...i'll admit i'm biased in that i like to emphasise how mikey did still manage to protect everyone in the bonten timeline#because otherwise his lack of agency / the feeling that he never got to achieve anything just makes me so damn sad#but yeah!! the message is “rely on your friends.” both because you CAN'T take everything on alone.#but also because you DESERVE to have help too!! etc.#i've said my piece i'm so sorry i literally cannot help myself#apologies for mostly just repeating what i've already said in other posts. lmao

foolish one
Summary: I know how to act like I'm fine.
Characters: Ken R. & Mitsuya T.
(A/N: I just came back to this fandom and Doramitsu is the first ship that came to my mind to write a one-shot fic about when I heard this song. As a celebration of my birthday, here’s some daily dose of Doramitsu angst to feed the fandom. Also, I can’t wait to see the next season this coming 3rd of October next month as I’m gonna see my favorite white haired boy Izana in the screen. Lastly, I don’t own anything from this franchise except for this fic of mine. Respective ownership belongs to Ken Wakui for this wonderful manga and Taylor Swift for this bittersweet yet catchy song.)
My cards are on the table, yours are in your hand Chances are, tonight, you've already got plans And chances are I will talk myself to sleep again You give me just enough attention to keep my hopes too high Wishful thoughts forget to mention when something's really not right And I will block out these voices of reason in my head
And the voices say, "You are not the exception You will never learn your lesson"
“You’re still good at this Mitsuya!” Remi groaned out in defeat as she placed her cards down on the table, glaring at the set of full house from the boy himself.
Mitsuya chuckled lightly. “I guess I’m a natural at this. Well, Draken you wanna lay down your cards here or you too scared to admit defeat?” He asked the blond who was still holding his cards silently in his hands.
“Now, now don’t get too cocky there Mitsuya or you’ll probably regret it.” Draken smirked at him as he finally placed his cards on the table which made Remi whistle and wiped off the smug expression on Mitsuya’s face.
A straight flush.
“Damn. You got me there.”
“Not always. But when I do, it’s damn satisfying.”
Draken grinned at him and Mitsuya willed out the unnecessary thoughts inside his head and the way his heart somersaulted like crazy inside his chest.
He really needed to learn his lesson to not repeat his mistakes again.
Foolish one Stop checkin' your mailbox for confessions of love That ain't never gonna come You will take the long way, you will take the long way down
You know how to keep me waitin' I know how to act like I'm fine Don't know what to call this situation But I know I can't call you mine And it's delicate, but I will do my best to seem bulletproof 'Cause when my head is on your shoulder It starts thinkin' you'll come around And maybe, someday, when we're older This is something we'll laugh about Over coffee every mornin' while you're watching the news
But then the voices say, "You are not the exception You will never learn your lesson"
The sun was already setting.
But Mitsuya continued to stay behind the EC homeroom as he waited for someone.
They always wait for each other to go home after school anyway.
It’s a routine between the two of them ever since they became closer and became one of the co-founders of Toman.
Regardless, if one of them is late for a few minutes they would patiently wait for one another before leaving the building.
A chiming ring from his phone jolted out of Mitsuya’s thoughts and fished for the device inside his pockets.
Upon seeing Draken’s name on the screen, a smile immediately lit up his face.
However, it was gone in a flash as soon as he opened his message and read the contents:
‘Sorry. Couldn’t make it today as Emma is requesting me to help her with something around the house. You can go home without me. I’ll make it up to you the next day.’
Foolish one Stop checkin' your mailbox for confessions of love That ain't never gonna come You will take the long way, you will take the long way down Foolish one Stop checkin' your mailbox for confessions of love That ain't never gonna come You will learn the hard way instead of just walkin' out
Now I'm slidin' down the wall with my head in my hands Sayin', "How could I not see the signs?" Oh, you haven't written me or called But goodbye screamin' in the silence And the voices in my head are tellin' me why
Several days had passed but Draken didn’t keep his promise.
For one straight week, he went home alone after school.
Which should’ve been okay since he was doing it in the past right?
But ever since he met Draken and the blond had entered his life seamlessly, their routinary activities together made him used to it that when it doesn’t go as planned in each day, it left him bereft, and a strange pang would strike upon his chest.
Every other day he would glance at his phone.
Waiting for his call or message.
But the blank screen on his phone would greet him as always.
And that was a glaring answer enough that he should face into even if it made his heart ache at the harsh realization of their situation.
The realization that they would just remain as friends and that line will never be crossed forever.
'Cause you got her on your arm and me in the wings I'll get your longing glances, but she'll get your ring And you will say you had the best of intentions And maybe I will finally learn my lesson
Foolish one Stop checkin' your mailbox for confessions of love That ain't never gonna come You will take the long way, you will take the long way down Foolish one Stop checkin' your mailbox for confessions of love That ain't never gonna come You will learn the hard way instead of just walkin' out, oh-oh, oh, oh
“Sorry. I’ve been busy these past few days and I couldn’t walk with you the other day after school...” Draken smiled at him sheepishly as they trudged along the pavement one afternoon.
Mitsuya should resent him... be angry with him for disappearing on him for a week and just appeared out of nowhere with that damn sincere, apologetic look on his face as if he just made a minor hiccup on their friendship.
But who was Mitsuya kidding?
He knew within himself that he had a soft spot for his other Twin Dragon and he’d forgive him immediately regardless of mistake he made upon him.
“Wow. You must be popular these days to have that kind of hectic schedule.” Mitsuya joked and tried to mask his innermost thoughts and feelings away.
“Oi. Between the two of us you’re more popular at school.” Draken replied with a disgruntled sigh, leaving his lips. “Besides I’m helping out Emma with some of her schoolworks and errands at their house.” He finished quietly and looked away.
This made Mitsuya pause in his tracks and blinked at him a few times.
He didn’t miss that look.
“You’re spending a lot of time with her these past few days.” Mitsuya remarked in a carefully crafted casual voice.
“Course I am... She needs my help... and I also enjoy spending my time with her.” Draken answered in a gruff voice. His back was turned to him as he kept walking ahead.
But Mitsuya could imagine his reaction vividly.
Flush cheeks and obsidian eyes glancing away as his veiled emotions were shimmering around his pupils.
He swallowed thickly and smiled ruefully before walking ahead.
Perhaps he should’ve walked out from this chaotic mess inside his heart when he had a chance.
But when it came to Draken, he was really a foolish one.
La-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la, oh La-la-la-la-la Ain't never gonna come Ooh, you will learn the hard way now Foolish one Sittin' 'round waiting for confessions of love They ain't never gonna come And thinkin' he's the one, you should've been walkin' out Foolish one The day is gonna come for your confessions of love When all is said and done, he just wasn't the one No, he just wasn't the one
(A/N: Reviews are amusing so let me hear them from you.)

At first sight Chapter Four
(m!reader x Bonten!Haruchiyo Sanzu)
Fluff/slash/reader is male/cursing/BontenTimeline/drugs and alcohol mentioned/violence/blood/death/sex/mention of rape
Haruchiyo Sanzu, Haitani brothers, Shuji Hanma and Kisaki Tetta belong to Ken Wakui.
Words: 3737
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You sat on a soft couch in the VIP room and stared at the ceiling instead of the dance hall below, which you had a view of through the thick, tinted glass. Colorful lights swirled around the walls of the small room, and the music reached your ears, muffled by the thick walls and the sound of your own blood pumping through your pounding heart.
You drank way too much that evening, but you were still perfectly aware of what was happening around you. You weren't alone in the room, and you weren't told that by the laughter of the two amused and drunk girls you heard right next to you. Every now and then you heard the very familiar voice of the man you came to the club with. Who you have been working with for several years now. A man whose transgressions you helped cover up and for whom you would most likely jump into fire. Damn, you were sure you would let him manipulate you into giving your life for him if the situation called for it.
“Y/N!” You felt someone nudge your booted foot. “Raise a toast with us to our beautiful ladies!”
Without taking your eyes off the ceiling, you raised your hand, still holding a glass half-filled with the most expensive champagne you could find in the club.
“Come on, Y/n!” Your companion was outraged. “A little more initiative!”
You heard the girls giggle and slowly looked at them. They were beautiful, young, happy, willing to have fun... and under the influence of more than just alcohol.
You looked at Haruchiyo Sanzu and saw a sparkle in his bright eyes that you loved. He didn't have to say anything, you knew his plans, and an opportunity like today didn't come around very often, and you were well aware of the fact that he wouldn't let it go. The question wasn't whether the girls would regret it later. The question was whether everyone would leave this room in the same condition or very similar to the condition in which they found themselves here. One thing was 100% certain - you and Sanzu, definitely yes.
“Y/n…” the girl who sat closest to you said in a soft, not overly sweet tone. "Do not be sad please." She moved even closer to you and ran her small hand along your arm. The feeling was pleasant, and you looked into her eyes. “We're here to have fun.”
"Exactly! Be polite and listen to the nice lady.” Sanzu laughed and pulled the giggling other girl with long blonde hair towards him. The poor thing didn't look directly at her new partner and watched the colorful lights that danced faster on the walls. She didn't notice Sanzu dropping a pill into her champagne.
You looked at your companion and smiled slightly. “Okay, honey.” You finished the champagne and carefully placed the empty glass on the table in the middle. Looking the girl straight into her bright eyes, you pushed her own glass under her tempting, red lips, gesturing for her to finish her drink as well.
The girl obediently drank the champagne and set the glass down next to yours. You smiled wider and stroked her soft, warm cheek and, ignoring what was happening on the other side of the table, you pulled the girl closer.
Her hands rested on your chest, her fingers digging lightly into the hard muscles. Despite the darkness, you saw that her face blushed even more, and her eyes sparkled. Her slightly parted lips moved closer to yours and a soft whisper escaped. "Can I?"
You laughed softly and stroked the girl's dark brown hair. “That's what we're here for, right? I won't force you to do anything if you change your mind."
The girl nodded slightly, and her lips brushed against yours, as if checking if it was safe. They were soft, and even though you came here not really sure about how you wanted to spend the night, you grabbed her by the neck and kissed her properly. She tasted of the alcohol she had consumed so far.
With your free hand, you pulled her onto your lap and kissed her lips like it was your last night ever. Soft and quiet gasps escaped her lips as your hands roamed her body and your tongues fought for dominance. You haven't felt such desire within yourself for a long time as you do now.
Her long nails began to trace over your scalp, and you ran your nose up her neck, inhaling the sweet scent of her skin and perfume. You liked them and you knew she had to spend more money on them. You started kissing her soft skin, and once you found her sweet spot, you didn't want to let go until you left a clear mark. You heard the girl's soft moans as she pressed her body against yours. It was hot with excitement.
“Oh, right here… Don't stop…” You heard a thin voice from across from you and looked over the shoulder of the girl you had on your lap in that direction.
The other girl was leaning against the armrest, and between her legs was Sanzu in a semi-reclined position, his hand hidden under the girl's skirt, and his mouth was attacking the submissive blonde's neck. He wasted no time...
Suddenly you felt your partner's hands starting to unbutton your shirt. You looked at her again, slightly surprised, but you didn't argue. You looked into each other's eyes and kissed again, even more passionately than before.
Your hands pulled her dress up, exposing her firm ass, which made her giggle. You smiled and slid down the backrest a bit to make yourself more comfortable. She began to move her hips slightly, rubbing against the growing mound in your pants. “Careful, princess…” Your voice was deeper than usual, and your hands rested on her hips, pressing them against yours.
A muffled moan reached your ears, and only after another one did you realize that it wasn't your partner's voice.
You looked back at the couple across from you and saw that Sanzu had his pants down and the blonde's legs were wrapped around his waist. You watched without the slightest embarrassment as your friend fucked a girl who... didn't look like she did just a moment ago.
She was pale, almost white as a wall, which was very visible, and her lips were no longer painted with pink lipstick - they were blue. The girl's head turned towards you and you looked into her eyes, which were wide open and unmoving.
“Fuck, Sanzu!” you shouted, but the pink-haired man ignored you, completely engrossed in what he was doing.
You moved, trying to push the brunette off of you, but she fell limply to the floor with a thud muffled by the carpet. You sat up and looked at her, completely shocked. Her beautiful face was covered in blood that was seeping from a small wound in the center of her forehead.
“What the fuck?!” You said in a strangled voice and fell to your knees to try to help the girl, even though you immediately knew it was too late. The girl was dead.
You extended your arms towards her and then your eyes came into view of your own gun, which you still held in one hand. “Oh fuck!” You jumped away from the body and dropped the gun from your hand.
You looked back at Sanzu. His hips moved quickly, in an irregular rhythm, and after a while he made a few final thrusts and with a loud, throaty groan, he collapsed on top of the dead blonde.
“Heh…” he looked at you with madness in his eyes, gasping for breath. “And I could have sworn you prefer girls who are more active, huh? That pretty stain, I guess it means something else, right L/n?” He laughed softly, pointing to your chest.
You looked down and saw that the entire front of your shirt was covered in the brunette's blood. You touched your face and felt something wet on it. For a moment you thought it was cold sweat, but when you looked at your hands - they were red with blood.
You turned your back to Sanzu and looked at the dancing crowd below. They had no idea what had just happened right above their heads.
“I always thought I was the crazy one… But you…” Sanzu's slim, yet strong hands wrapped around your chest, and he hugged your back. “But I think you can beat me in everything. We are in this madness together.” His lips brushed against your earlobe, and you felt a tug followed by a thump.
You blinked a few times, staring at the white ceiling as you felt something hard beneath your back. It was only after a few minutes of trying to move that you realized you were lying on the floor, tangled in your own sheets. The club, the girls... it was just a dream. This never happened.
You sighed loudly and closed your eyes for a moment. Your heart was beating so hard it was threatening to burst out of your chest. You haven't had such a fucked up dream in a long time. “Fuck… Shit.”
You freed yourself from the sheets and pulled yourself up from the floor onto your own bed. “You need to invest in a decent carpet.” You muttered under your breath and sat on the bed, burying your face in your hands, breathing slowly, trying to calm down.
You groaned loudly and laid back on the bed, your eyes fixed on the ceiling again and you started thinking about the dream, or rather the nightmare. None of these things ever happened, at least not to the extent that your subconscious presented it to you.
In fact, a year ago you ended up with Sanzu and two girls in the VIP room and you had a great time, but no one died that night. Even Sanzu's partner wasn't high, and her submission surprised the pink-haired man himself. It was just one-time sex, but you didn't feel sorry for it. At the time, neither of you were looking for anything permanent. The girls next time didn't particularly show any interest in either of you, which irritated Sanzu to the point where he growled at you most of the time, calling them names under his breath. It turned out that the girls were avoiding you due to the fact that this time they came with their boyfriends.
The only thing that improved Sanzu's mood was a fight in the men's restrooms. Or rather, beating up one of the boys who thought that Sanzu took advantage of one of the girls and wanted to defend the girl's honor. When the unfortunate man lay curled up on the cold tiles, bleeding from a broken nose and cut lips, Haru took out his phone and showed the boy the videos from that fateful night, in which the girl in question was having a great time and humiliating her life partner.
You well remembered that after Sanzu left the toilets, you helped the beaten boy up from the floor and pressed a bill into his hand, suggesting that he should go home and think about his relationship. For the first time, you felt sorry for the person Sanzu beat up, but probably only because you had once been treated in a similar way by your own fiancée.
You reached for your phone to check what time it was and if you had received any notifications. You cursed quietly when you couldn't find it in the dark and sat back down to get a better look around. Your phone was wedged between the headboard and the mattress, so you pulled it out and activated the screen.
The time on the display was 12:06 p.m., so you had a decent amount of sleep.
You got out of bed and went to take a quick shower. For the next few minutes, you thought about nothing, not even your upcoming meeting with Kisaki Tetta and the others. You simply enjoyed the streams of warm water flowing over your body. When you got out of the shower, you dried yourself with a fresh, soft towel and tied it around your waist. You stood in front of the mirror and looked into it.
You didn't look bad for someone who drank a lot of alcohol the night before. You rarely saw any side effects from drinking alcoholic beverages. You shaved and when you looked in the mirror again, the memory of Sanzu's face and gaze flashed before your eyes as you touched his hair and ear as a goodbye.
A cold shiver ran down your spine, although you felt something more pleasant in your stomach. “You're on very thin ice, L/n. You're lucky I like you, otherwise..." His words echoed in your head, and you wondered if he was actually warning you then, or if...
"Come on. It was a long and hard night, and you allowed yourself to do more than usual.” You hummed and started applying the care Ran once taught you to your face. You defended yourself with your hands and feet, but after a few times you noticed that it was worth taking care of your skin.
But was it really too much? After all, you touched Sanzu many times in a way that other people would consider an affectionate gesture. If you had to count on your fingers how many times you removed individual eyelashes from his cheeks that fell out, how many times you straightened his bangs when he got messy during a fight. How many times have you personally washed drops of blood from his face with wet wipes? A few times you went crazy and left a gentle kiss on his temple - then you drank a lot, but Sanzu always laughed at it, maybe because he was high... You helped him take a bath twice because he overdid it and couldn't do it on his own, insisting that he must wash himself, even if it cost someone's life.
If you had to count it all on your fingers, you would need extra hands. So why did this one time seem so different from the previous ones?
You dried and carefully styled your hair and sprayed yourself with the toilet water that you once received as a gift from the employees of your cafe. You closed your eyes for a moment, enjoying the scent of ginger, bergamot, lavender, sandalwood and amber. You took off the towel and threw it into the laundry basket. You left the bathroom and, completely naked, walked towards the closet to get dressed. You never minded prancing around your apartment without clothes on, and regardless of the time of day or night, you didn't particularly care whether your windows were covered or not. If nosy people want to look, let them look - you were aware that there was something to look at.
You chose underwear, socks, a suit, a shirt and started dressing. You tied your tie and fastened your expensive watch as you looked in the mirror. You stared at your reflection, wondering again if something had actually changed between you and Sanzu, or if it was just an effect of the previous night.
You smiled to yourself and shook your head slightly. You looked good, very good in fact, all thanks to the pink-haired and older Haitani. They took you for rags, as they once put it nicely, and put you back on your feet after a failed relationship. You must have looked more pathetic than a stray dog then if they helped you so much.
You straightened up, straightened your jacket and walked out of the closet back into the bedroom to grab your phone - it was almost 3 p.m. and you decided it was high time to go pick up Haruchiyo, and on the way to Bonten's hideout, stop by a cafe to check if there were any new problems in your area.
You also checked if you had spare keys to Sanzu's apartment, just in case he was still asleep and didn't hear the doorbell, which had happened several times already. You put on your shoes, turned on the alarm and left your house, locking the door carefully. You lived in a guarded estate and, despite trusting the patrols that came there from time to time, you preferred to make sure that all your belongings were safe. No one suspected you of any criminal activity because you were always polite to your neighbors, who knew that you owned your own legitimate business. You didn't look like a thug, so they didn't even particularly notice the flamboyant Sanzu when he visited you - you never let him get too loud, or at least that's what everyone thought since your house was properly soundproofed.
Driving through the streets of Tokyo to the apartment building where Sanzu lived, your mind went blank. However, the closer you got to your destination, the faster your heart started beating and you started to hope that Sanzu wouldn't change his attitude towards you. You didn't want your relationship to become a typical business one.
You pulled into the parking lot and took a few deep breaths before getting out of the car. You looked in the rearview mirror and, seeing your eyes filled with uncertainty, you laughed out loud. You got out of the car, locked it, and walked quickly and confidently towards the elevator.
As the elevator approached the floor where the pink-haired man lived, you decided to apologize to him for what you did a few hours ago. The rest will be up to him.
You walked up to the door of Haruchiyo's apartment and rang the bell. You waited a moment before pressing it again, but you didn't hear any movement inside, so you used your spare keys and went inside.
You politely took off your shoes and looked into the small kitchen - it was empty. You walked up to his bedroom door and listened for a moment to the sound of water, perhaps the man was just taking a shower. Silence.
You knocked gently on the door. “Sanzu?”
You knocked again, a little louder. “Sanzu, I'm coming in and I hope you're not asleep after all…” You pressed the door handle and pushed the door slightly.
The room was dim and the air was heavy. You looked towards the bed and saw a half-naked man sleeping on it, lying on his stomach with his face turned towards the curtained window. His face was hidden under the other pillow. You smiled to yourself and moved closer. You leaned over the sleeping Sanzu and then you noticed that a piece of a hip - a bare hip - was sticking out from under the tangled sheet.
You swallowed and your heart skipped a beat again - Sanzu was sleeping completely naked, which wasn't something he did often.
You slowly reached for the pillow and gently uncovered Haru's face. His eyes were closed and his face was relaxed. You smiled softly at the sight and felt bad that you had to wake him up already. He deserved a good night's sleep, and it looked like that was what he got.
You brushed back his bangs and stroked his cheek.
“You and your fucking tenderness, L/n.” He murmured softly, waking up from his sleep.
You looked at him with wide eyes, as if you were just now realizing what you had done, and when Sanzu rolled over slightly and looked at you through half-closed eyes, you froze. His gaze was clear and focused on you, but not hostile.
"Sorry." You said quietly. “You looked so calm…”
"Shut up." He interrupted you and blinked a few times, stretching. "What time is it?"
You looked at your watch. “It's almost 5 p.m..”
Sanzu hummed in satisfaction and extended his hand towards you. You grabbed it and helped him sit up. “Do you want to eat something before we go? I'm planning on stopping by my cafe, so I can grab some dessert..." You asked, wanting to let go of his hand, but his fingers tightened on yours.
“We'll eat at the hideout.” He said, still not letting go of your hand, “Y/n… I want an honest answer.”
You looked at your joined hands and held your breath as his thumb moved to the inside of your wrist, lightly pressing against the throbbing vein. Your heart involuntarily sped up and you looked into his bright eyes in surprise.
“How do you feel about me?” He asked and your knees went slightly weak under you. "Do not lie. You can deceive the rest, but not me."
Your heart was pounding in your chest and you couldn't move. Sanzu's voice was soft, although his gaze was hard.
“Haru…” You began quietly, knowing that if you didn't tell him the truth, he would squeeze it out of you, and not in a pleasant way. "You've helped me a lot in my life... Even at the beginning, when you clearly showed me that you didn't like me... I..."
“The reluctance lasted two months at most.” He interrupted you, still holding your hand. “You showed that when you're around, you won't let me get hurt. Loyalty. That's not what I asked."
"I know." You sighed and Sanzu repeated his question. “What I feel for you is unmistakable - I've felt it before for someone else.” You looked into his eyes and spoke in a confident tone, although there was a distinct softness to it. “I love you, Haruchiyo Sanzu.”
There was silence in the bedroom for a few minutes, but it felt like an eternity before Sanzu let out a soft sigh. There was no outburst of aggression, no insults or mockery.
Haru simply tightened his grip on your hand, got up from the bed and placed a gentle kiss on your cheek, which reminded you of the brush of a butterfly's wings. He let go of your hand and walked past you, heading towards the bathroom. You stared after his naked figure with wide eyes, feeling your face start to burn.
“Stop staring.” The pink-haired man said without turning around and before he disappeared behind the bathroom door, he added. “I want the best dessert from your cafe.”

hello hellooo! how about Mikey for the character ask game and 🍄🤔 for the WIP ask game?
Thank you for the ask!
here are the links to the ask games:

My first impression
Typical overpowered goofball that steals the protag's spotlight and who's likely to be interesting once his past gets revealed. Probably has a large part of the fandom having him as their or one of their favorite characters. Don't think he'll be mine tho (I always end up with favorite characters who are (mostly) the ones without a huge fanbase behind them 🥲)
My impression now
He needs a hug. He needs therapy. He needs to cry. He needs Takemichi.
More seriously, he's more complex and important to the story than what I've anticipated. He's just so detrimental to the story. From start to end he's tangled with it. He deserves that happy ending. If I think too long about his dynamic with Shinichiro I sob uncontrollably and ugly.
I love how trauma is depicted with him. It can get so much ugly despite one's unwillingness to be and one's best effort. He's a great character.
Favorite thing about that character
He has no power over his own fate. His life wasn't meant to last as long as it did and so when it continued even though it should've ended, it got set in stone as counterweight. He got cursed by the person he loved immensely and who loved him back immensely as well. He came back wrong and he wasn't aware of it. He's an antagonist despite himself. He was meant to be since the start and Kisaki helped to speedrun it but even without him Mikey would've sunk in darkness. There were clues about that since the start and I love that for him. He's literally cursed to ruin his own life (and lose his loved-ones). Talk about doomed lol gotta love a lil tragic man.
(I'm very happy he got his happy ending tho, don't get me wrong)
Also: he's got a blanket-plushie <33 he's irritable when he wakes up and that's relatable
Least favorite thing
Idk... I don't think there is one? Perhaps when he refuses to apologize because he doesn't see the point to it (in the hospital when visiting Pah's friend's girlfriend with Draken, when meeting Kazutora's father after drop-kicking him, ...) but that's just because it makes me anxious lol I can apologize a bit much
Favorite line/scene
obligatory 'save me' moment mention
It might be a bit cliché, but the whole Manila Mikey scene. It's when Mikey actually started to pique my interest. The whole 'I killed them' bit *chef's kiss* - I needed to know more asap and I knew I wouldn't and it was awesome.
Favorite interaction that character has with another
Mikey stealing Takemichi away for Christmas from Hinata made me chuckle and still do.
I don't think about the trust he puts in Takemichi that much but it does linger on the back of my mind at all times. It's very dear to me.
A character that I wish that character would interact with more
I wish we would've seen more of him with Izana and him with Senju. There are a bunch of others, but ultimately I wish his relation with Izana and Senju would've have more elements to it, more dwell on. Also where are the scenes with Kazutora and Mikey being content and happy, Wakui. Wakui. Wakui, I need them.
Another character from another fandom that reminds me of that character
Loosely, I'd say Ace from One Piece. Damn character smiling to hide their clinical depression
it's when I'm being asked for things like this that my mind goes blank fr, I'm sure I have best examples somewhere
A headcanon about that character
The reason he sleeps so much is because he's supposed to be in a vegetative stage had Shinichiro not messed with the timeline :D!
A song that reminds of that character
I've got a entire playlist for him with +130 songs in it (as for now), how am I supposed to choose.
Imma just put the first song that triggered me doing playlist for TR and sharing them on Tumblr I guess
降伏論 sang by 宮下遊(Miyashita Yuu) (Eng sub in CC)
And take Body And Mind by Girl in Red as a bonus
An unpopular opinion about that character
I don't think I've got one???
Favorite picture
This panel is just so beautiful.. *sobbing on the floor for several reasons*
I like every lil Mikey as well
🍄Describe your wip/one of your wips in the format of “___ + ___ =___”
Baji as Shinichiro's time trigger + canon compliant up to a certain point = Kazutora still kills Shinichiro
🤔What’s a story you’d love to write but haven’t even started yet?
AU where Shinichiro (19, living in 1999) and Takemichi (18-19, living in 2010) swap bodies between May 22nd and July 30th. They're both from their original timeline and so the connection cut when their timeline stops having the same course of event. And while Shinichiro lives through original timeline the same way he lived it in canon, Takemichi kinda forcefully got his life together (it's tucked together with tuck tape but he's making it work) because of when Shinichiro was living his life and is now way too attached to the Sano family (&Co) not to try to meet with Mikey from his time period (very bad idea). What could possibly go wrong with Takemichi from the start of canon trying to reconnect with Hinata, Mizo Five, Kakucho at some point bc I want him and S62 here, and saving Mikey when... When it's first canon timeline and they've never met?
It's a fix-it somehow; the time leaping powers plotline remains the same as in canon too, when it concerns Shinichiro (Takemichi's part of the story obviously gets changed)
I haven't written a single word yet but I did brainstrom it xd. Got a handful of other long-fics I want to write first before starting a new one
#je souhaite faire part du fait que j'ai été tenté de dire que ma scène préférée était le 'si tu rigoles pas j'transforme ta mère en NFT' ou#le passage 'M9' avec 'zone censurée' de la parodie Re:Take#mais peu aurait eu la réf#and April 1st is over#ask game#answering asks#also thank you for asking for him bc I saw two post in a way too little span of time (2 days - yesterday and today -) that were degrading#him and it made me pissed :) so thx for giving me the opportunity to talk about my love - altho not intense - for Mikey#everyone can interpret and like what they want how they want but I was outraged (mostly by how they worded it)
