i doubt that Arata's going to make any major appearances now, but i think it would be so funny if VBS starts travelling and he is made to supervise them, because Ken is busy and tells the kids, "sorry, i am not trusting you guys by yourselves abroad in a million years." so he calls up Arata, since he's travelled before (to America)

Arata is like "yeah, sure. how hard could it be?"

about everything that could go wrong goes wrong.

in the middle of the night, they were all meant to meet at WEG, from where Ken would drive them to the airport. all of them except Toya forgot at least one thing at home and had to go all the way back to retrieve it.

Arata ordered a cup of strong coffee while they all waited for An to come back after running up to her room for the sixteenth time.

at security, An, Akito and Arata seem to accidentally create a "whose jewellery can set off the metal detector more" competition. Toya is highly disappointed in Akito. and just before the trip, Emu had given Kohane a tiny little robot that has recorded messages from all of W x S, to remember them by while she's away!! so cute!!

it gets Kohane pulled away to be searched.

not even anything dodgy in it, it's just as if the machines could detect the Made In Rui Kamishiro's Room essence. Kohane was terrified. it took Arata, Akito and Toya to hold An back from fighting security and getting them all arrested. Rui woke up at home a few hours later to fifty missed calls from Akito, An and the airline.

Arata bought another coffee at duty free afterwards.

oh, and since i'm silly about my headcanon of Iori and Arata being twins, STANDOUT happens to be doing a world tour at the same time. Arata prayed he would not see his sister at the airport. he is not God's favourite. she sees him struggling with the kids and immediately takes the piss. he retorts that he hopes her plane crashes. nearly gets jumped by the other band members (minus Mio)

he needed two coffees to recover from that.

Kohane is super excited about taking as many photos as she can while in the airport, wanting to capture everything. Arata sees her struggling with holding the camera while dragging her suitcase and decides to be nice, offering to hold it. she accidentally calls him nii-san and he feels joy for the first time, thinking that maybe it's all worth it. which is very quickly dissolved when An takes him holding Kohane's bag as an invitation to drop her bag on him ("cheers, Arata!!"), followed by Akito. Toya tries to scold them and help carry all the things, though sheepishly finds that he does not have the strength to.

"why the fuck do i bother." ~ Arata Tono, 2024, on his fifth coffee.

Arata gets a call from Souma checking up on him and is so relieved that he's positively beaming (and maybe even tearing up) while he walks away to answer.

"ehhh, he hasn't smiled at us like that all night, even though we've been so good!!" ~ An. she and Akito tease the hell out of his relationship with Souma when he returns.

while waiting to board the plane, he has to deal with standing next to a bickering An and Akito, the sleepiness starting to really get to the both of them, making them more snappy. Toya is starting to really realise that flights involve... heights. and is staring into space while having a silent panic attack. Kohane unintentionally wanders off to go take more photos, nearly giving Arata a heart attack when he thinks he's lost her. or that might've just been the caffeine.

he is unable to buy another cup of coffee at this time.

the second Arata gets into his plane seat, he goes "do not talk to me" to all of them and immediately falls asleep. some poor flight attendant has to shake him awake to ask him to put his belt on because he'd forgotten. he starts sobbing right then and there.

he gets to order his now hourly coffee from that same flight attendant a bit later.

he tries to drift off once more, though is awoken again, this time by poor Toya in the middle seat digging his fingernails into both his and Akito's arms from fear, like a cat, while the plane takes off.

Arata downs some more coffee and reflects every one of his life's decisions while his arm is taken hostage.

An, who is much too peppy at this sort of hour, in Arata's opinion, reaches across the aisle every ten minutes to shake his free arm and ask "are we there yet??" so he makes Toya keep an eye on how many exact miles away they are and regularly report it to her, to both distract him from the height and satisfy An's curiosity.

when they arrive at their destination, VBS is ecstatic. Arata promptly goes to his room in the hotel and passes out for about twelve hours.

he gets offered coffee during breakfast and feels sick at the thought... before remembering that he's with this lot for a good few days and quickly accepts.

Found Family Anime Recs

I recently reblogged a list of found family anime recs and was a bit surprised by how many reblogs and likes it got. I had really reblogged it just so I can find it later to watch the shows I hadn't already seen on the list, but apparently I have a lot of followers who are interested in this topic! Well, I've watched a lot of anime, so here are ten found family anime shows that I absolutely love. These are in no particular order.

Buddy Daddies

This show is similar enough to Spy X Family that you might be tempted to call it a rip-off. It's really quite different though. There's a lot less comedy (though there's still SOME comedy) and a lot more healing from past trauma. The animation is gorgeous, and the relationships really tug at my heart. It's more realistic than Spy X Family, in some ways, though it's still pretty ridiculous. The melodrama in the last couple of episodes did annoy me a bit, but it's still a very satisfying show. It's like a fanfiction I would write, which is really the highest recommendation I can give, haha, because that means it's exactly the kind of story I would like. 

2. Samurai Champloo

This show was made by much of the same team that created Cowboy Bebop, but for some reason it never got the same cult status, which is really too bad. I love Cowboy Bebop, but I love Samurai Champloo more. It's about two ronin and a teenage girl traveling through Edo-era Japan to find someone the girl is looking for. Throughout the series, the three form a very strong bond, despite all of their communication difficulties and past traumas. I've rewatched this show probably more than any other anime. It's brutal at times, but so very satisfying.

3. Natsume Yuujin-cho

Natsume lost his parents as a young child and was passed around from relative to relative, most of whom couldn't deal with him because his ability to see yokai (Japanese folk spirits) made him a freak in their eyes. As the series starts, he's finally taken in by an older couple in a rural village who actually want him, and he's finally able to start forming connections with other people and find a support system with his new caretakers, his peers, and the yokai he tries to help. It's a very sweet, sad series, much more sentimental than the first two entries on this list, but a very soothing and lovely watch when you are in need of some relaxation. Warning, though, the flashbacks to Natsume's past families can be truly gutwrenching. He was not treated well for a very long time, and it's hard to stomach.

4. Barakamon

Handa is a calligrapher who gets essentially exiled to a remote island after causing problems on purpose. He has a hard time connecting with people and is struggling with his art. Over the course of the story, he forms relationships with his neighbors, especially an adorable child with possibly the best child voice-acting I've ever heard, and slowly rediscovers his joy in creation again. It's cute and funny and beautiful, and it makes me want to live on a remote Japanese island.

5. My Roommate Is a Cat

Subaru is a young novelist who recently lost his parents, who were pretty much his only connection to humanity. While trying to recover from this massive loss, he adopts a stray cat who quickly becomes the most important creature in his life. Through the cat, he begins to form relationships with other people, as well. The show is unique in that the first half of each episode is from the human's POV and the second half is from the cat's POV. It's a very lovely and soothing show. Pets are family, too!

6. Haikyuu

Haikyuu was the show that opened my eyes to the aspect of found family in sports anime. I know a lot of tumblr enjoys Haikyuu for the shipping, but to me it's more satisfying to view it through the lens of found family. Each team is essentially their own found family, in their own unique way, and the relationships are particularly realistic and well-depicted by this mangaka. I love Tanaka being a big brother to the first years, Kuroo and Kenma's mutual protectiveness and support, all of it. 

7. Kuroko no Basuke

This is the silly basketball show, and in my opinion it's not as good as Haikyuu, but I love the relationships here as well. Especially between Kuroko and Kagami, of course. Their mutual protectiveness is just chef's kiss. But the whole Seirin team is really great. I love them so much. The teamy goodness is what makes the silliness watchable for me.

8. One Piece

What is there to say about One Piece? This is, like, the ultimate found family show. All of the pirate crews with any kind of goodness at their core are found families, but especially the Strawhats. Luffy is just going around looking at people and declaring, "Okay, you're in my family (on my crew) now." If you've never watched One Piece before, I'm going to make an unorthodox recommendation and suggest you watch the live action Netflix adaption first. It does a really good job of capturing the feel and aesthetic and just pure loveliness of this story in a much more compact and approachable way than the anime. However, if you like it, I do recommend that you watch the anime from the beginning, because there is a lot of expansion on the themes there, and the characterization is slightly different. Usopp in particular kinda got shorted in the live action, so you'll understand him a lot more if you watch his introduction arc in the anime. But honestly both versions are great. I'm on my third rewatch of the live action version already, and I will watch and rewatch the anime until I die, probably. One of my favorite stories of all time.

9. The Weakest Tamer Began a Journey to Pick Up Trash

I found this one slightly annoying in how it was obviously carefully designed to tug at my heartstrings, but it's working, so I don't have much right to complain. It's about a little kid driven out of her home who gradually gathers a found family of both monsters she tames and adult adventurers and guardsmen who take one look at this lonely child and go, "Well, guess I have a baby now." The isekai element is very lowkey, in that she basically just has a voice in her head giving her advice, and I like that it's about fighting local corruption instead of a demon army or what have you. I want more shows like this and less shows like every other generic isekai, haha.

10. Dungeon Meshi

This show is blowing up tumblr right now, so you've probably already seen it a billion times, but I'm going to make one more appeal for you to watch/read this story. It is so, so so good. And in my opinion, it is much MUCH more about family, both born and found, than it is about shipping. I could write a whole essay about Marcille and Falin's relationship that has nothing to do with romance, as I could for any other two (or three or four) characters in the main party, plus those outside. There is a LOT going on. I've been playing RPGs and LARPs for twenty years, and one reason I love the hobby so much is for the joy of creating found families with my best friends in new and different worlds, over and over again. This is the first piece of fiction I've found that really captures that particular aspect of party-based fantasy stories, the relationships that form and grow, the tight-knit bonds that keep everyone moving forward despite the monsters you must face (and consume).

Steven Universe told from the perspective of other characters

Garnet: A story of gay empowerment from start to finish. As a book it would be titled either Made of Love or Stronger Than You and feature Garnet's gauntlets with her wedding rings on them as cover art.

Amethyst: A seemingly wacky coming of age story that drops the most heartfelt moments when your guard is down. The cover resembles kids' detective stories, the kind where the whole gang is looking around for clues to the mystery.

Pearl: Everything up to Rose's death is an ancient literary classic titled The Ballad of Rose Quartz, illustrated with intricate inkbrush paintings. Steven Universe season one to three is the kind of introspective life after tragedy novel you pick up to look sophisticated reading. It's probably titled Without Her or something similiar. I don't have a title for season four and onwards, but the blurb is "it's not easy to manage twenty girlfriends, two life partners, a son and a dark past at the same time!" It's much more lighthearted than the previous two, but still prone to punching you in the emotions with little warning.

Connie: A magical adventure series just like the Unfamiliar Familiar! It centers Steven the magical boy with his best friend and eventual love interest Connie as the female lead. The tone gets a little darker after the first book/season, but less so than the original Steven Universe (let alone Steven Universe Future).

Greg: First a coming of age story, but unlike Amethyst this one is about breaking away from toxic people in your life. This story gets its happy ending when Greg finally finds someone he can be himself with in Rose. The time until Rose's death is a romantic comedy titled My Girlfriend, her Girlfriend and Me and conists mostly of shenanigans. After Rose's death and Steven's birth, it turns into something more bittersweet centering Greg's worries about being an adequate father to his magical son.

Peridot: It's titled How I learned to stop worrying and join the Rebellion and is easily the most lighthearted installment here. Our dorky protagonist is very obviously a somewhat unreliable narrator, but in a funny way. She encounters a few struggles, but they are quickly overcome with the power of friendship.

Lapis: This is just multiple whump fics. They're in a collection titled Bad Things Happen Roulette. Steven Universe the Movie is a pretty standard fantasy adventure with a group of powerful heroes though, and Steven Universe Future is the fluff fic with a smidge of angst you'd read as a pick me up after Bad Things Happen Roulette.

Bismuth: The war is a good vs evil sci-fi story with lots of social commentary. The Diamonds are definitely irredeemable here. I don't know what to do with the few episodes of the original Steven Universe she was in, but the movie is an empowerment narrative against systemic oppression titled Still Standing, or something in that style. Steven Universe Future however is a romantic comedy.

Rose: This is just a straight (well, bi) up tragedy. Our protagonist desperately tries to recover from her childhood trauma and be a good person, but is ultimately unable to escape the prison of her own mind. The book wins several literature prizes, but very few people actually read it because it's just too depressing.

"𝐼'𝓂 𝒽𝑒𝓇𝑒 𝓉𝑜 𝒽𝑒𝓁𝓅 𝓎𝑜𝓊!" pt.2

Warnings: kidnapping, abuse, obsessive behaviours, possessive behaviours, unhealthy mindset, manipulation, The Grabber

(Y/N) had been saving multiple boys from the basement but was unable to help them escape because the Grabber had upped security in the house to make sure that none of the boys ever escaped.

(Y/N) managed to sneak the boys some food (mainly her own meals) and in return they told her about the world outside of the house they were all trapped in.

When she saved the most recent victim, Robin, however, the Grabber gave her a strict warning after beating her.

"If you take the next boy out of this basement, I'll fucking kill you! Do you hear me?!" Was his threat and it lingered in (Y/N)'s mind.

(Y/N) was terrified of this, even though she was almost always on the brink of death due to lack of food and the heavy amount of beatings.

But to be able to protect the other boys, she knew she couldn't hide away the next one, it would be the end of her life and in turn, the end of the rest of the boys’ lives.

But she had an idea about how to help the boy.

She found some old walkie talkies and hid one in the basement and kept the other in the secret room with the other boys so they could give the next boy advice.

Once the next boy was in the basement, the Grabber's brother came to visit, so (Y/N) was locked in her room, since she too, was a kidnapped child.

(Y/N) was becoming very weak and it took a lot of effort to move.

So while she was locked in her room, the Grabber would barely come to see her and deliver food.

He only did that early in the morning then never came back until the next morning, so that gave (Y/N) time to talk to the boys.

They were her first friends and the only connection she had to the outside world.

She had no idea what life outside of the Grabber’s house was like, so everything they told her made her so curious to what the outside world was like.

Bruce and Robin were her favourite friends since they were always nice to her and told her about everything in detail.

Bruce found it a bit funny even that she liked fairytales so much and would often tell her that she was like Rapunzel, beautiful not knowing what the outside world was like.

This made (Y/N) smile since she didn’t feel beautiful, especially with all of her bruises and scars but Rapunzel was supposed to be a beautiful princess despite being held captive.

But then (Y/N) noticed something after a few days, the Grabber came into her room more frequently with more meals, which made her think that the person downstairs left already.

But because (Y/N) was giving the boys almost all of her food, she became weaker and weaker until she could barely give the boys food anymore.

By using the walkie talkie, the boys were able to communicate with the new victim, Finney.

They gave him advice on how to escape and Finney managed to get out the door and start running but he then was captured again.

Luckily, by using the advice from the rest of the boys, after Finney was recaptured, he managed to kill the Grabber and leave the house.

The police entered the house after Finney came out and began getting checked on by professionals.

The boys had heard the snap of the Grabber's neck through the walkie talkie, so they exited the secret room, knowing it was safe to do so.

But (Y/N) wasn't able to move due to injuries and extreme hunger.

Vance carried her out as they all quickly left the house and encountered the police, who recognized them as the missing boys.

They didn't know who (Y/N) was but she was loaded into an ambulance and driven to the hospital.

She was kept there for quite some time to recover since she had severe injuries and was extremely malnourished.

The boys who she saved often came to visit and Robin brought Finney along to meet her once.

The boys, that were kidnapped before Finney, thought of (Y/N) as their saviour and soon Finney thought of her that way too because if she hadn't intervened, then all of them would be dead.

She was making a slow recovery as the police tried to locate her parents.

But they were struggling to find her parents since (Y/N) had no recollection of her last name or her parents, she didn’t even know if (Y/N) was her actual name since it was the name the Grabber called her.

Since she managed to recover before the police found her parents, Griffin’s mother, Ms.Stagg, volunteered to take care of (Y/N) in the meantime since she noticed how attached Griffin was to (Y/N).

Griffin and (Y/N) developed a strong, sibling-like bond and (Y/N) was very protective of the small boy.

But with (Y/N) living with Griffin, he did his best to make sure that (Y/N) wouldn’t hang out with the other boys she saved, and that he could brag about all the fun things he did with (Y/N).

Like building a pillow fort together, how she would read him stories, giving him piggy back rides and how when he said he had a nightmare, she would let him cuddle with her until he fell asleep.

The other boys were very pissed off by this, they wanted to be around (Y/N) so badly, they wanted to joke and laugh with her, talk to her about their stresses, make her happy but Griffin was amazing at restricting their interactions.

(Y/N) was honestly just happy to be out of the Grabber’s house and having the feeling of a family.

The other boys thought that maybe when the police found (Y/N)’s parents, they could have more interactions with her since she’d be around Griffin a lot less.

But those hopes were shattered because it turned out that when the police were looking through the Grabber’s house, they found two bodies, two adult bodies.

They managed to recently connect the dots and figure out that these were (Y/N)’s parents.

As it turns out, the Grabber had become so attached to (Y/N) that he wanted to make sure that she never had anything to go back to, therefore he killed her parents, so he could be her only parental figure, so she really would think that he was her dad.

(Y/N) would’ve been more upset had she known her parents but it was still distressing news.

Ms.Stagg took initiative to adopt (Y/N) since she was growing to love the girl like the daughter she never had.

Griffin made sure to brag about how (Y/N) was now officially his sister and basically did his best to piss off the others with how much he was bragging.

They decided to secretly find ways to meet up and hang out with (Y/N).

They set up little ‘shifts’ where one boy would distract Griffin and the others could hang out with (Y/N).

Bruce and Finney taught her how to play baseball, or at least brought her to their games.

Vance made her watch him play pinball at the Grab ‘n’ Go as he beat his records, then would buy some kind of candy for her with the pocket change he had.

Robin would take (Y/N) to the drive in movie theatre to watch horror movies, especially if she was terrified by them, because it would give Robin an excuse to cuddle (Y/N).

Billy would take her on early morning bike rides with him as he did his paper route.

But Griffin soon found out about what the boys were doing and was furious.

He didn’t want to share his older sister!

She saved him first!

She talked to him first!

No one else should be around her besides his mom and himself!

After he found out, he would throw a tantrum every time that one of the boys tried to get him away from (Y/N) then smirk at the boy as he walked away with her.

Griffin attachment to (Y/N) was like a toddler with their favourite toy, never ever wanting to it go.

This made the others frustrated but luckily for them, Finney is a genius.

He decided to approach (Y/N) and start talking to her while Griffin was around.

Griffin whined and complained but his efforts to get (Y/N) away from Finney failed.

She would instead scold Griffin, and tell him that she was talking to someone and that they would hangout later.

Once the rest of the boys witnessed this, they began using the same strategy angering Griffin to an extreme.

Griffin then began ignoring (Y/N), pretending she didn’t exist, in an attempt to get her attention back on him.

But the boys kept (Y/N) so distracted that she didn’t even notice, which made Griffin extremely upset.

The boys just loved her big and beautiful smile, something they barely saw while she was trapped in the Grabber’s house.

Eventually, Griffin's attempt of getting (Y/N)’s attention began working, causing the others to spend less time with her as she was trying to rebuild her relationship with her younger brother.

Vance eventually got the idea that instead of sneaking around behind Griffin's back or hanging out with (Y/N) in front of him, why not become allies with Griffin?

If Griffin liked him enough, then Vance would be allowed to hang out or even ask out (Y/N).

Vance never, ever told the others about this because if it worked, then he could have (Y/N) all to himself even though he did technically need to share with Griffin.

It was all a big competition for (Y/N)’s affections but who would win this contest?

It's almost like a security blanket for him when he's around too many people, he carries something he can fidget with and uses it

I can't stress this enough but tall people have back pains and oh boy if könig is tall

He is always cranky in the morning because of it and because he loves to just sleep in the weirdest fucking positions ever

Which is funny cause otherwise his postures is always very straight and stiff, it just that when he sleeps he gets all weird

About that, he hates, absolutely despises, the beds they have during missions

His breakfast is basically a big ass mug of coffee first and then some herbal or fruity tea or maybe some juice

He just likes the idea of savouring things rather than eating all at once bc they're so good

Besides I just know he has also a tendency to gain weight more easily than the others

He just tries to be as healthy and balanced with things as much possible bro

The only times he doesn't pays much attention to what he eats is around the holidays or when he gets to see his family

Which always ends up in him putting some weight but he doesn't cares that much, he always gets in shape before getting back to work

He loves to read, he carries a book everywhere he goes and ITS THAT TYPE OF PERSON WHO CAN'T FUCKING HIDE THEIR REACTION TO WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THE STORY

HE CAN'T HANDLE THE DRAMA OKAY? LEAVE HIM ALONE

He does not look his age at all. Either bc of how youthful he acts or bc he looks really young no one has ever guessed his age and it's something he find quite funny so he just let people try to figure it out on their own

People are often really mean with him and sometimes really harsh. He knows they're just playing around and they mess up with everyone like that but he gets genuinely hurt sometimes

No one notices cause he always takes it like a champ tho

I feel like ghost kind of gets annoyed at him. Not for the reason you may think

He's just looks always so serene and at peace, but most importantly happy and it's something ghost can't comprehend given what they do for a living

König is not a sad person by default and he recovers pretty quickly for certain things but he always carries around a weight of guilt and self doubt that is unbearable sometimes

Much like ghost, this man is kind of scare of himself really

He always worries about ending up being some sort of psycho who has no regards towards human lives

He gets so carried away when he's on the mission and often does not realise how efficient and kind of brutal he can get

He is absolutely scared of ghost. Everytime he is in the same room with him he just gets so nervous he ends up embarrassing himself more than once

Look, I may be projecting onto him but I KNOW THIS MAN AND HE HAS HIS JAW FUCKED UP FROM CLENCHING IT TOO MUCH

like I have anxiety and my jaw is dislocated cause ever since I was a kid I was always clenching my jaw while sleeping or unconsciously while going about my day so I just know that someone like him has the same problem

He has definitely popped his jaw and hurted his ear more than once and has ADORABLE CROOKED TEETH CAUSE I DO AND I WANT HIM TOO OKAY?

he is really good at signing but everyone thinks he's not because the few times he has tried to sing in front of someone he fucked up from being too nervous

He knows how to play piano. As matter of fact he has one at home

Prefers wine over beer or cocktails but has a weird ass liking for strong liquors

And BTW he is annoyingly hard to get drunk, this man could get down shot after shot and still be as lucid as ever

Which soap found out by embarrassing himself. König ended up trying to take care for him the whole night cause he felt guilty

When he gets angry is not a pretty scene. He's always so jolly and easy going even if you're rude to him so is hard for him to get angry, but when he snaps this man is not playing around

He is still pretty mad about not being able to be a sniper. Specially because he's good at his job, he knows he is but no one believed in him and his abilities bc of his height and his anxiety

When he was younger everyone always used to talk over him because he had difficulty with speech due to his anxiety

He used to get so frustrated to the point of crying and since no one ever had the patience to listen to him he just used to write on notebooks all the things no one ever wanted to hear

He still does it and has like a lot of diaries filled with rants, thoughts, jokes ecc

When he was younger he used to listen to the FILTHIEST SONGS not knowing what they were about because he didn't understand English well

When he's nervous his accent slips a little bit

He writes letters to his loved ones and specially his s/o when his away from home and has the prettiest handwriting ever

⚠️Cheater QSH × reader angst where he can't really understand what he's feeling. I haven't continued reading the manga so I don't know when he'll wake up after recovering, so the part where he does wake up is made up by me.⚠️

Imagine being his wife, is empress, and his supporter. Yet, he still has the audacity to do this to you?

You watch on the edge of your seat, excited for your darling's entrance, hope and excitiment running down your veins.

But, there was no denying the sadness it brought you to think of what would happen to him if he were to lose the fight. But you decided to have hope, because he was your dear husband.

Any negative thoughts like that would be bringing dishonor to him.

Happiness bursted through you when you saw him make his big entrance, not even noticing the big funny looking smile you had on, just for him. When he walked, he looked towards you, before slightly raising his blindfold upwards, Giving you a wink.

Your face flushed in embarrassment, before you quickly redeemed yourself.

Nows not the time to be playing around, especially when his life and the sake of humanity, was on the line. So you give yourself a nervous smile, a small little prayer mumbled from your lips in hopes of guiding your darling through the fight.

You suddenly snap out of it when you hear a yell from below. Seeing that it came from a pretty looking girl, who looked gravely upset.

"who's she?" Your eyes trailed off to where she was looking, before seeing that her grumpy little comment was towards your husband.

You couldn't hear much due to all the talking and whispering amongst watchers, but you could make up a few words— Like how Zheng didn't practice völundr with her, and other stuff. Not that it really mattered right now.

You giggle to yourself. Of course, that was so like him; one of the many things that made you love him so much. Such a charming man he was, indeed.

Before you could happily ascend into cloud nine with all the lovey dovey memories, your thoughts were quickly disrupted when you saw your dear beloved husband, pick her up with little effort.

Your heart dropped, a little feeling of sadness clouding your emotions. Why was he picking her up like that? And Why's she blushing so much?

You shook your head a little, shaking off those negative feelings, knowing your darling would never do anything to betray your trust.

Right?

You were immediately proved wrong when he pulled her closer, as her face heated up even more. Before there was a flash of light, along with her loud whine of how it was "unfair" or something.

Something in you felt like it was going to crack. Him? Her? YOUR HUSBAND, and, HER?

When the transformation of völundr was set in place, Huang felt a strike of energy hit him like an arrow through the head.

Yes, the man had an upset wife sensor 🙂

He quickly looked over to where you were sitting. A hint of worry plastered on his face which you couldn't really make out because of his blindfold.

But both of you exchanged sweet smiles, before the fight soon started.

As Huang was announced the winner, you watched as he fell down after a brief exchange of conversation with the Valkyrie girl.

You were horribly worried for your husband, but you were also very happy that he was the winner.

Things could have ended worse. This was basically a miracle which you were very grateful for.

Somehow, in some way—you couldn't get rid of the weird feeling swelling up in your chest. Especially whenever you saw him and that Valkyrie together. You just couldn't understand, why did you feel so negative even though he ended up winning? You already got the miracle that you wanted, so what else could have possibly been missing?

Everytime you saw them speak to one another, you'd see so much adoration in your beloved's eyes.

No, actually, Both of them had that look. One that could only be described as love.

You knew it was selfish to think that way, especially when they were just trying to help each other survive..

But, when you saw how he held her so gently when she was about to fall, even when he was literally MISSING an arm...

that was it.

Jealousy

A little while passed, and you went to a different Valkyrie girl, who went by the name of Brunhilde, who led you to your husband.

He was recovering from his injuries , so you figured you'd just come back later. Maybe you can just get some food and breathe up some fresh air.

Finally, when he did wake up, you find him staring down at the Valkyrie—who you heard from Brunhilde, was a girl who went by alvitr.

They stared into each other's eyes, her face flushed with a soft pink, a puffy angry face while his gaze lingered on her smaller figure.

You quickly hid, wanting to see where it would lead to.

"I have..feelings..."

"you...huh?- wh-What are you on about?!"

"I know it's wrong...but..seeing how much you were willing to go down with me through such events...I liked it very much"

"...."

"I'd like you to be...my..new bride. If that's alright with you."

He gave her a charming smile, as she was left with her brows knitted and cheeks flushed red from the embarrassment it brought her.

And with that, he gave her a small kiss, retreating his face, giving a little "Hao!" Afterwards

You drop the tray of food you carried with you, your eyes wide with fury and betrayal, as the two turned their heads towards the noise that came from a distance.

Huang's eyes widened, and alvitr looked at you and him back and forth, a feeling of panic and worry quickly taking over her senses.

"Zheng....?" You mumbled, as he stood there, speechless, quickly opening his mouth to respond while the Valkyrie near him stood frozen.

"my empress! I-i didn't think you'd come looking for me-"

"save it.."

Your face contorted into one of sadness, as you looked at the face of your dear beloved husband, which was full of dread and nervousness. The Valkyrie also had a similar look, but you couldn't think well enough to process everything.

You storm off as your husband shouted your name, trying to reason with your now angry state, but was quickly stopped by alvitr, who knew that it would put him in danger to walk around in a place swarmed by angry gods.

So now you were left crying, deciding to go to a waiting room to dry your tears, just hoping for the best.

BAYVERSE BOYS - CARING FOR YOU WHEN SICK 🐢🧡❤️💙💜

Authors Note: I’m sick, so how about some headcanons about the (Bay) boys taking care of you when you’re not feeling well? 😘

No warnings. Rated E for everyone??

OVERALL: (General headcanons that apply to all the turtles) 

Due to the boys genetic engineering, they wouldn’t be susceptible to most human illnesses (if any at all.) So, you wouldn’t have to worry about quarantining away from your mutant boyfriend.

One of my personal favorite headcanons for the Bay Boys (thanks to @dontlookatmytmntcollection) is that they run hot. Their warmth would be comforting and somewhat medicinal (depending on the type of aliment you have.) 

Looots of face kisses. Even though they can’t contract your illness, it doesn’t mean they’re down to play tonsil hockey while snot’s dripping from your nose to lips and you’re trying to hack up your lungs every minute. So, you settle with kisses on your cheeks, forehead and ears.

“Babe, I can’t come down to the sewers, I’m sick.” “... Aight. I’m coming to you then.” NOTHING, would stop these boys from coming to your aid when you’re not feeling well. I mean, it is their responsibility to take care of the citizens of New York. They’re definitely not using your illness as an excuse to get out the lair and cuddle with you till sunrise. 

MICHELANGELO

Mikey doesn’t like being contained to one spot or activity for too long, so he wants you to recover quickly which means: staying hydrated!! He’ll make sure you’re sipping water every quarter hour, and you’ll have consumed at least three liters worth of fluid each day you’re sick.

However, you being sick does make for a great excuse to stay in bed and play video games. He’s definitely busting out the handhelds, or he’s bringing in a bigger console for you two to start an action-adventure story game together!

If he’s not with you, he’s blowing up your phone with jokes, memes, and funny videos to make up for his absence. After all, laughter is the best medicine, right?

Makes you ‘Get well soon’ cards, and leaves them strewn about your place for you to find when he’s away. If you don’t already have a vase for flowers, he’s bought you one and filled it with your favorite kind. (If it’s allergies that’s got you down, he’ll make sure to get fake flowers because you still deserve them! Just ones that won’t kill you! Lol!)   

RAPHAEL

Surprisingly, Raph is the only one out of his brothers who’d be fine with staying in bed with you all day. He hates it when you’re feeling bad, and just wants you to get well soon. So, if that means resting up and getting some good sleep then so be it. The man’s natural heat helps relieve sinus pressure and soothes you to sleep, so you’re grateful for his presence. (Even if he takes up most of the bed.)

The others don’t know this, but Raph is really good at mani-pedis. He’ll trim, file, and shape your nails, as well as pushing back and clipping your cuticles to remove any dead skin. Color is up to you, which he also does surprisingly well for how large his digits are.

Sews you a shawl every time you’re sick. Which hopefully, is not too often, but even so– Raph’s a pro at it, so it doesn’t take him long to whip something up. It’s unbelievably soft and retains heat like it’s him draping his arms over your shoulders instead of the cotton fabric.

He knows how important it is to maintain nutrients and keep your energy up when sick. To save you a mess of dishes and utensils, he puts together dump-n-go meals in a slow cooker! It ranges from soups, to stews, to pastas, and oatmeal. They’re all very tasty and there’s a good amount of leftovers for the next day!

LEONARDO

Remember how I mentioned that Leo would be good at massages? Well, you’d be getting a lot of facials when sick. He’s working on your sinuses to release pressure and unblock your nasal passages. He makes sure to do this before you lie down for bed, that way you’ll sleep easier. 

Cleans your whole damn room/house. A clean space makes for a clean mind; not to mention sanitization helps with a quicker recovery period. And since there’s not much else for the two of you to do when you’re down and out, he might as well tidy up. It’s nice to not have any cleaning to do once you’ve recovered.

Depending on the severity of your sickness, Leo will suggest a workout. Nothing too strenuous!! Just something light, like yoga or walking to get you active. You’ve most likely been stationary for most of your illness and your body could use stretching. (I personally should probably apply this practice to real life, hahaha…)

This may come as a surprise, but you watch a lot of trash TV together when you’re sick. Leo is one of those guys who thinks he has no interest and is above that kind of content, but snaps his head to attention when some drama goes down. And nothing makes you feel better than watching someone else’s crummy life play out on the big screen.  

DONATELLO

Has immediately placed a ‘clean bill of health’ order on a delivery app, and sent it to your residence. The order consists of: over the counter meds, neti pots, electrolyte-infused drinks, multiple humidifiers (if you don’t already have one), and a boat load of tissues. You think it’s too much tissue until you’ve gone through multiple boxes in just one day…

Like his orange-clad brother, he would propose playing some video games if you’re feeling up for it. Although, unlike Mikey, he’d suggest you play something competitive or involving horror. It’s to get your heart pumping and blood flowing. Of course, he’s creative in his remedies!

He draws up perfectly temperature baths for you with essential oils to ease your congestion and Epsom salt to relieve your muscle aches. He also throws in some bath bubbles cause it isn’t only about feeling better! He wants you to relax and have some fun too!

If you got homework that needs done, housework that requires fixing, or bills to be paid, Donnie’s got you covered. The last thing you need to do while recovering is stress over tasks that he can easily take care of while you’re sick. (Not to mention, he takes much pride in being your go-to man.)

Long post rambling abt my SaH continuation au

Might not make tooooo much sense but I’m trying

Ok!!

So, it continues where ep 32 left off, bam in the gas chamber WHOOOOOOO I love child murder!! And it mainly Geum’s mental state during it, how he’s going back at forth between saving bam and keeping his cover, he manages it (how idk yet shhhhh) and he gets Bam and co out of the gas chambers and hides them under the tunnel system of the Wolf Den where people won’t find them

Geum expects to be able to calm down from this, but he can’t, for some reason his heart keeps racing and he can’t focus and he seems to be hearing something, or someone but it’s too faint for him to really make out yet

He ignores it though, it’s PROBABLY nothing right???

Bamsaegi and co wake up and are found by other FH scouts that came as backup, even though Bam doesn’t really wanna leave yet since he hasn’t even really seen Geum yet, but alas he has no choice but to go back home and come back later

For Geum, things go around the same as usual,

The wolves have a new plan!!! They realize that the Flower Hill soldiers are on fucking crack and are willing to die for just about anything and aren’t afraid of them, so they’re using a lil sci-fi…ish machine to use people’s fears against them and what better way to test it out is throw Geum right into the machine!! Aren’t they sooooo nice?

Now the wolves can’t see Geum’s fear, but they can see his reaction so Geum still has to be careful during this. They wanna see Geum overcome whatever it is hes afraid of (if he’s even afraid of anything) so he can fight against flower hill better and also to see how strong the machine even is (and to perhaps see if he’s really a spy according to Vixen!)

Geum goes in, but it’s weird, it’s nothing nightmarish or even scary its honestly pretty nice, a night open field, lots of flowers, reminds him of home. He can even hear someone humming, who is that anyways? He gets closer and sees a squirrel, is it Jul? There’s no way he’s afraid of Jul. Bam? No, he’s not really scary either, even if he was afraid of losing him it’s not something that would stall him really, but it’s neither of those things. It’s…Him. Him before he was a soldier.

Geum is OBVIOUSLY confused, why is he seeing HIMSELF in something that’s supposed to be his biggest fear, it disturbs him, especially since the other Geum keeps trying to talk to him! He’s so nice?? The complete opposite of him! Was this really how he was?? Why was this his biggest fear??

“Who…What are you?!”

“I’m you! Silly! Finally you start talking! I was worried you went deaf or something!”

“You aren’t me! You’re nothing like me!”

“Well not anymore! You’re a soldier now! Funny how people can change so quickly. It hasn’t even been that long and you can’t even recognize yourself.”

“What the hell…?? Is this thing broken this can’t be my biggest fear this-this is…!”

“Are you okay? You don’t look so good…”

Geum with all the questions racing through his head and the machine being very taxing, passes out before he can finish the test so has to be taken to the infirmary

He has a splitting headache when he woke up, Vixen was near him, asking what happened in there. Geum lies and says he doesn’t remember. Vixen is suspicious but just tells him to relax for a bit and that he can finish the test when he’s recovered, making a comment about how she was pleasantly surprised that he was afraid of something.

Geum hates waiting. He hates staring at the ceiling but these damn mice nurses won’t let him leave until he’s “perfectly healed” or whatever!! It’s late, he hears that faint noise in his head again, familiar but he still can’t quite make it out. He falls asleep.

Midnight, or later, he wakes up, it’s like his body jolts awake and moves on its own, he’s so dizzy but he can’t stop, no one seems to be stopping him either for some reason, he’s outside, none of the nurses even tried to stop him this time. He’s on a flower patch and kinda just…Falls on it. “I remember you giving me a bouquet in a place like this!” A familiar voice said, this time it was so clear. It was Goseumdochi!

Geumsaegi feels like hes going insane, he KNOWS goseumdochi is dead but he can hear him and he can see him! He’s RIGHT THERE! But he can’t touch him, it’s like he’s a ghost! He asks questions, a million of them, but with no answers, Goseum just stares at him and smiles.

And thus begins Geum’s slowly breaking! Varies things happen but two things remain consistent, he keeps going into the fear machine (and failing) and he keeps seeing Goseumdochi and failing to talk to him.

For the first arc of the story this is a constant and it eventually ends with him beating the machine by just…Killing the other version of him. After which Goseum finally starts to answer him.

This leads into Geum eventually questioning things about Flower Hill and himself,

But he isn’t the only character going through a revelation, part 1 Juldarami!!!!! Where is he anyways?

Jul was of course, recovering from the bullet he took. But now he’s fully recovered and ready to help and find Geum. And by GOD he is worried because the commanders, NO ONE, has heard anything from him. Radio silence.

Jul is determined to get to the bottom of it. He goes undercover with his only mission being finding Geum. One problem though, Geum is avoiding him HARD. Everytime Jul gets close Geum runs 20 feet away, so basically it’s a game of cat and mouse with Jul losing his MIND trying to find Geum, and eventually listing the help of…Bamsaegi!!!!

Bamsaegi feels absolutely awful for what’s happening and thinks it’s his fault, so he helps Jul try to find Geum whilst learning about the world outside Flower Hill as he goes undercover and getting particularly close with Huin (which causes him to defect later on!)

Through this both of them learn that Geum…Isn’t exactly the greatest, idolization isn’t a fun thing when the person sucks BALLS.

That’s basically the gist of it, few more things tho,

Throughout this Vixen is doing her own plot to overthrow Commander Wolf and eventually does so Geum has to deal with that during his whole crisis,

Mul!!!! I haven’t exactly finished his whole thing but here’s basically what I have so far!

Mulmangcho is still trying to get Geum exposed as the spy, and he’s getting desperate now that Geum has basically ousted his former position. So he needs to reset things, find himself, BEAT any fear he has so he can crush that squirrel and rip that beautiful fluffy tail of his! So he goes into the fear machine when no one is looking,

His fear is…Weird. It’s a maze with seemingly no exit. Every door leads to another door and those door lead to 39 revolving exit doors that lead him back where he started! It’s frustrating! He hates it! And he’s raging HARD!

He keeps hearing something, like someone is laughing at him. He keeps following and following, until he sees…Geum.

Well great his biggest fear is Geum WHAT A SURPRISE! This thing must be Einstein! Except Geum is…Weird, he isn’t talking, he’s just kinda…Standing there, Mul takes a step forward, he takes a step back, he keeps moving, Geum keeps moving, he runs, Geum runs, but to where?

Mul keeps following Geum, he seems to be getting farther in the Maze than he did before, in the background he can hear glimpses of his life but he isn’t really focusing on that. Geum is leading him to an exit! He’s almost done—And his brother pulls him out of it before he can finish.

Great.

Still, he didn’t understand, he wasn’t scared or nervous throughout the entire thing, so why was that his biggest fear?

(I’m thinking it can lead to Geum and Mul slowly understanding each other!)

It all ends with Geum quitting the military tho and seeing that the commanders SUCK so fun!!!

That’s basically everything, I hope to turn this into a fic or comic of some sort eventually <333

i need to talk about this rn i'm sorry but i've been having baby fever and been thinking so much about erwin as a dad 😞🩷 (cw pregnancy)

firstly, he suspects you're pregnancy before you do. he's so observant and knows you so well, so when you start to look tired, or have cravings/aversions to certain foods you didn't before, he takes note. what seals it for him is when he notices your pet (let's say a dog) clinging to you. of course they like you, but now it seems they don't want you out of their sight, might even growl whenever he tries to touch you in their presence. and of course, he notices if you haven't yet had your period (he doesn't even need an app he just remembers your usual time of month) but of course he is considerate that you may want to surprise him, and he is gracious enough to be surprised and over the moon with you when you tell him because of course the confirmation is better than the suspicion. he does admit to knowing already later on, but how can you be mad that he pays attention so well??

and when you get rounder, you learn quickly the baby has a preference for his voice. if the baby is hiding from you in the belly or keeps kicking when you want to rest, they only listen to his voice, he'll say something like "Be kind to your mother," and the child will literally stop and you're just like " •_•"

also he will absolutely hire someone to help with cleaning and cooking while you recover postpartum, make sure you don't have to lift a finger for anything besides the baby and your own wellness. even after the first couple weeks and the person he hired is gone, he'll still do most of the cleaning and cooking while you recover because he understands that while you focus on cariny for the baby, he has to focus on caring for you. he will also want to be involved with learning about how to best care for the baby as much as possible (he becomes a master at burping 😌)

and the first time you guys drop the child off at daycare, he's pretty straightfaced and serious to anyone looking at him, gives a quick hug and a kiss to his little one but mainly focuses on making sure everything is accounted for in their bag and lunchkit. the staff might think he's too cold and aloof to be so unemotional about his child's first day at daycare, but what they don't know is that the second he gets in the car and out of the kiddo's sight he puts his hand over his face and starts weeping softly, holding your hand so tightly with the other because his baby is getting so big so fast and he's proud but also sad after hearing them cry as soon as you both walked out.

he just becomes the most wonderful father and husband and loves his family with everything he has ☺️🩷

I very much headcanon Erwin as an observant man, so I 100% agree with the notion that he notices you're pregnant before you do. the food tastes changing, the sickness (the dog! (in my little world there's a dog! (his name is Atticus))) - the notes it all away but the little shit says nothing. he might partially be being considerate and letting you tell him, but i also think he isn't above waiting how long it take you to figure it out after he does. it's like a little bet he has with himself lol

AND THE BABY LIKING HIS VOICE ofc my child would only listen to Erwin smh. that's kinda so funny to me though, I love that idea. maybe Erwin spoke quietly for a while and the baby was real still, you kind of panicked a little, but as soon as Erwin went "oh my god, What?!" the babe went wild as if to say "oh, daddy is here! yay! he didn't leave us alone!" bc yk. the baby is a little shit too just like it's dad.

He also totally doesn't like the idea of you lifting a finger. he says your body is busy making a whole human being, don't you dare make him dinner too, making it himself is the least he can do. I also firmly believe afterwards he's a very hands on dad. yeah perhaps he'll keep some hired help around for the days where e's not there, but when he is there? you're surprised he isn't run off his feet. the man has so much energy for being so chill and stoic. he'd be out here being dad, mum, housekeeper, cook, taxi AND CEO, and still cuddle up to you at the end of the day and wanna attempt to ENTHUSIASTICALY put ANOTHER baby in you.

-the gang knew something was wrong with sean minutes after he woke up. when he stared at the ceiling of arthur’s tent wordlessly, not reacting to their soft greetings.

-lenny was the most panicked, looking around and asking them to help him up.

-once they sat him up, and started talking directly into his blank face, it started to dawn on them.

-of course, strauss had already known there’d likely be damage, he’d even pointed it out. but it was brushed off with a “well, we’ll see” from hosea and yes they did see.

-they saw a very different man, one they’d describe as more than absent-minded. they’d find unkind words better suited to describe his wordless, dazed, memoryless existence.

-they wanted to give him time at first, see if he would recover, but it felt a little useless. they werent imbeciles, they knew what a bullet to the brain meant and no amount of denial would make the universe any more sympathetic that it had ever been.

-throughout their days with sean, they learnt more and more about his condition against their will. he couldn’t eat, he couldn’t talk, nor could he clean himself or even know he was supposed too.

-they felt new emotions too, unwanted and unexpected emotions of loss they had no idea what to do with.

-lenny knew it was all wrong when sean wouldn’t look at him, when the man who had made him feel like he was worth more than everything treated him like he was worth less than nothing.

-this wasn’t sean’s fault, of course. he didn’t know anyone, anything.

-quickly, his weight dropped because he just would not eat some days. he would push at the table, grab at the spoon and make a mess.

-his clothes were always stained because of his accidents.

-sometimes he would just cry, as lenny tried to calm him down. he’d cry in a way he’d never cried before, letting out all his built up trauma he could no longer fully remember and recognise through fat sobs, tears and wails.

-there was a main rule when it came to sean. don’t. wake. him. up.

-its funny how hosea would kick him awake, launching him off his seat like he was a sack of rotten potatoes so he’d work.

-now, they feel a guilty, selfish peacefulness at the sight of him asleep at the table, finally quiet after hours of grunts and whines and other little noises.

on a fluffier note…

-for lenny, amongst all the devastation and loss, there was a tiny positive.

-sean felt no embarrassment at being held by him. before his accident, he’d huff and blush and smirk, only wanted to be hugged for a short time, not wanting to be seen being held exactly how he wanted.

-now, if sean was full, clean and calm, he’d relax and not resist to being held around the campfire. of course, he couldn’t hold lenny back like he used too.

-but for those nights, under the stars, surrounded by the universe and its bittersweet friend, fate, their hearts didnt feel so heavy and their minds didn’t feel so claustrophobic with their own thoughts.

-lenny could breathe the smell of sean’s clothes before it faded altogether from lack of his old habits that had given it its smell.

-sean could feel at peace enough in his new and confused brain to not resist a warm touch from whatever the source was.

-for a limited time, it was okay.

That's the plot twist, chief. The ritualistic suicide sex is their dynamic. I can...give this an attempt at the very least.

-For the sake of this ask, the best I can really do is say this is post-Central Fiction where Ragna makes the decision to not erase himself and live in the new world with everyone else.

-When Nu finally recovers from her sickness and is able to move around freely again, her first instinct is naturally to find Ragna. Once she does she initially has the thought of becoming one with him in the form of the Black Beast.

-At least she does until she realizes that's no longer possible. The cauldrons have been destroyed and with the full power of the Azure, Ragna is for all intents and purposes a god. She couldn't beat him anymore even without the Azure last time so now there's basically no chance.

-Ragna doesn't really know what to do, even if he still wanted to save Nu from...well their thing they were forced to do together. He'd finally succeeded in doing that, so... maybe she deserved the chance she'd wanted for so long?

-It takes a while for the Grim Reaper to warm up to the idea, but seeing how Nu wanted him so badly now and she wasn't going to try to get him to destroy the world, he eventually figured why the hell not.

-An actual, real relationship is...awkward to say the least. Knowing their less than ideal history together along with the fact that Nu looks exactly like Saya due to being a clone of her really doesn't help. Is this even legal? Are there even any laws that go over clones of family members anywhere?

-Predictably, the Murakumo Unit's...intense feelings haven't changed, however she'll have to learn to express her affections in more normal, much less destructive ways. She'll cling to Ragna's arm at every chance she gets with no sense of shame whatsoever regardless of how he feels about it at any given time.

-To be honest, both of them are extremely inept at love, they're both learning as they go. Ragna just kind of sits there and lets Nu do what she wants most of the time, knowing she has to figure this out just as much as he does.

-However he has to be the one to stop her when her more violent tendencies start to emerge. If she catches him talking with any other woman who's not Noel or Lambda she'll probably be ready to throw hands right then and there, and that's not gonna end well for the poor girl on the receiving end if he doesn't.

-It's a long learning process, but Nu eventually learns to hold back the urge to attack any woman who even looks at Ragna kinda funny. She'll hold onto him tightly and shoot the woman the kind of look that very well could kill a person. As soon as said woman goes away she goes right back to her happy, child-like personality. The way her mood can swing like that so dramatically and so quickly will never get any less unsettling. At least she's pretty adorable when she doesn't have the urge to commit first degree murder.

Well, the others wouldn't really know they are gods since Primus and Unicron are not allowed to reveal themselves- hence the disguises and alias'. Bee knows they're gods but he's not allowed to speak about it either, he only refers to them as Sire and Papa anyway.

While Prisma and Unis know they are the gods, they speak about their god-names as if they were separate beings(mostly when they're arguing) to keep their covers- religion is a minority on Cybertron since the war began so it's rare to see someone speak about the gods so much. They are seen as religious to say the least.

When Unis shows up in earth he's wrecking shit up for fun and the autobots come to stop him- he does his gig with "you have no chance against me! I will destroy you!" before he notices the tiny yellow bot standing in the group and changes his attitude to happy-go-lucky, The others are very confused and alarmed when Bee runs towards te colossus, even more so but add shocked when he picks Bee up and starts baby-talking to him and Bee yells; "Meet my Creator!"

They are sceptical and wary of Unis cuz this mech just threatened to kill them and now he's acting all friendly and good. He straight up says he was gonna destroy the planet for fun but he can't do that since his beloved sparkling (and his friends) live here.

And so Unis is a "guest" in the plant for few weeks. He's like gremlin-mode Bumblebee but worse- he dubbed Sari an abomination when Bee introduced her to him, Unis was quick to clarify he likes her very much and insults are his way of showing affection(in a way). She was hurt at first but quickly got used ot this weird affection Bee's dad gave her. She likes to go messing around with them in the middle of nowhere sometimes.

He doesn'd do shit when there's something bad happening and the team has to go take care of it. In fact, half of the calls happen cuz he's causing trouble. He's also encouraging Bee causing mischieft and doing pranks and saying he's "going in his Creator's pedesteps".

Unis had bragged about being the strongest warrior in the entire reality known, he's detroyed planets single-handedly and wrecked thousands of soldiers that happened to get in his way. Team Prime has a reason to be wary of him, not just because he's a giant.

The Decepticons straight up skidaddle on the sight of him- he's triple the size of Blitzwing AND wielding a giant double-sided axe. One time Megatron got his servos on Bee and threatened the other Autobots that he'll hurt him, Unis seemed to just materialize out of thin air behind him and politely got his attention before he suplexed him with one servo. The 'cons are straight up avoiding the yellow mini now in both fear of what other fucked up abilities he has and because they don't wanna be pavement on the courtesy of his apparently Creator.

Sentinel is giving Bee all the respect and praise he "held back on" the moment Unis approaches him from behind while Sentinel is trash-talking Bee and excuses them both so they can go on the promised treasure hunt.

While Unis does seem like the strongest in the universe, he's not on either side of the war. He calls it stupid and says that he "spreads the chaos equally".

Then Prisma shows up. He drops from the sky and seizes Unis by his horn. He says few things to his "little sunray" and promises to visit soon before leaving thru a "space bridge" with his husband.

Bee then tells them that was his Sire.

If Ratchet was questioning how this colossus Unis managed to take care of such tiny Sparkling like Bee then now he's questioning how the frag Bee is so small if he got 2 literal giants for Creators- and he doesn't look like he was adopted by them.

And yeah, Prisma does show up unexpectedly like a week later- they find him sitting in the main room with Bee, he was recovering from an injury so they left him in base for the call and when they come back- oop, there's a fucking huge airplane just sitting in the plant. How did he fit in the room? None of them know!

Surprisingly, Prisma is very likeable and they actually get to be kinda friends with him instead of being afraid- well, they're still scared cuz he does clarify he'll send Unis to wreck chaos if something happened to Bee but he's not as aggressive as Unis. He's not even violent- physically at least. He's also on neither side of the war- he says it's a pointless tragedy and he's giving help to anyone in need.

Prisma is similar to Prowl actually, he's calm, respectful and the responsible parent- he doesn't let Bee cause any trouble (most of the time). He actually made Bee apologize when he called Prowl's documentaries boring; "Just because his interests don't align with yours, it doesn't mean they are any less than what you enjoy." He has said.

Now, the 'cons and Elite Guard are still scared shitless from Unis' visit so they also avoid him. Bee and Sari have the fun flying together in his cockpit and seeing stars and galaxies from the "projector"- it's like they were actually in space!

Prisma leaves and things have quieted down. But all of the eath transformers were traumatized enough to treat Bee with respect. His team still bosses him around a bit cuz he is a teammate but they certainly are worried of what might happen if they so much as insulted him. But the tension shrinks the further Bee's parents' visits were in the calendar.

Now i have few funny ideas with BlitzBee and "meeting the in-laws" that i vaguely mentioned in this post. But i also think ProwlBee would fit. Feel free to send questions about whichever you want.

Pfffff! I Didn't double check what I wrote. I meant to ask "What are your Rosegarden Headcannons?"

What are my Rosegarden head canons? Hmmmm…that’s a pretty good question. I’ve never made a list to be honest. My brain is more like a highway where my neurons activate when I think of the pairing. I'll try and cover what seems to be the foundational stuff first, then maybe get more specific?

Who falls in love first?

Oscar falls in love first, but he doesn't fall in love immediately. He get a crush on her fairly quickly but actual love only starts during the time when Oz is hiding in Oscar's mind. He has more time to think about stuff that isn't an impending death of identity, and he naturally thinks about why he likes Ruby. He has the realization of love in Salem's dungeon, which is a depressing time to realize you love someone. I like that timeframe of events because it makes Emerald interrupting the Rosegarden hug funnier and a little sadder, which I like. He just realized he loves a girl and he can’t even get a hug! Maybe he could confess to her later, but then she dies…(kind of). He's entirely devastated and barely recovers.

Ruby falls in love with Oscar second, but it’s falling. There’s not a slow descent from affection to crush to romantic love. That wouldn’t happen until after V9, though there is a certain lovely feeling to Ruby being in love with Oscar but prior to V9 just feeling like she can’t be in love the world is ending and I need to save it so I can’t be in love. I respect anyone who head canons that. For mine, I think the first big indication is writing a recurring thread of Ruby missing Oscar in the Ever After.

It’s incredibly important that the thoughts don’t indicate that she thinks Oscar is better than her (a perilous trap for RWBY writers of all pairings) but that she thinks he would be able to take the lead while she is free to fall apart. She wants someone else to be there and she trusts Oscar to be that person.

I don't really think about them having sex. Partly that's because that seems like a good policy to prevent mean behavior on my posts (I assume you've seen anti-RG rationale) but also my mind just doesn't really go that direction. It's not quite to the point of Aesexual! RoseGarden, although I enjoy that too. Most of the time that I write big consummation of romance scenes, it ends up being more about kissing or they essentially propose to each other and swap necklaces or something. Rings are a hassles! This is influenced by FFXIII...

I do think they’re the type of people to adopt and co-parent a kid while living together, but not be in a confirmed romantic relationship. They’d sleep in the same room with two beds next to each other. Eventually they’d confirm that relationship and switch to one bed, but the important thing is starting off with two beds in one room because they are not dating. I think it is 1) Funny and 2) Filled with the comfortable tension of co-habitation. It’s very Advent Children.

I’ve written them with a kid twice (unpublished), both times adopted and both times it was a Grimm that had evolved to the point of essentially being a human. Once was post-series and the other was a thing where a Grimm ate part of Ozcar’s magic and got turned into a kid between V6 and V8. I’m very fond of the second because it’s incredibly silly to me to do that at that specific time. I need to talk about that sometime.

Who is taller? That comes up a lot, right?

Oscar is taller than Ruby, but it’s close enough that it really depends on who laid down the most recently. A height difference of maybe three inches? Something that’s easy to catch up to for Ruby by wearing tall shoes and standing up straighter. I like negligible height differences.

What’s another thing people are always talking about? I don't get involved in discussion a lot...

Food?

Oscar likes coffee, but Ruby enjoys fruit smoothies. Oscar has a weakness for sour (not bitter) desserts like lemon tarts or lime sorbet, but not much of a sweet tooth. Their main point of agreement is orange cookies.

Is there any song I associate with RoseGarden?

Steven Universe's True Kinda Love, specifically the end part where Steven (Universe) is climbing up the big Injector-Thing to reach Spinel. Oscar is hardly Steven, and Ruby's no Spinel, but during V9's Peak Ruby Breakdown Time I liked to imagine Oscar climbing the Tree to reach Ruby.

Also Simple and Clean from Kingdom Hearts 0.2.

Also also Lightning's Theme from Final Fantasy XIII. It has a lot of sentimental meaning to me, but it plays under dialogue about growing up in the wake of grief. I strongly associate that with time-skipped Oscar.

Who supports the pairing the most?

Emerald and Blake/Yang are the biggest supporters of the pairing for Oscar and Ruby respectively.

I think we've discussed Emerald and Oscar as a duo before, but I'll say again that my long term hope is that Emerald and Oscar become close pals. I like to write angst and the EO duo, so I write Emerald as being aware of Oscar's plentiful sadness and also his determination to live.

On the other hand, I think Blake likes Rosegarden because she's a suppressed romantic and also because she thinks they're a good couple conceptually. She wants them to get their happy ending!

Yang supports the couple mostly because she wants Ruby to be with someone who has open arms, meaning Oscar doesn't hesitate to give Ruby his time or affection. He's also very good at detecting when she needs his attention/affection/time (mostly because he asks).

My ideal HC ending?

Oscar decides to go on a road trip at the end of the series and Ruby goes with him. His idea stems from the feeling that Oz was very familiar with Remnant’s past, but Oz has passed on now. Both Ozma and Oscar loved the world, but Ozma is gone now. There’s only one person of their duo to live in the world they love, and Oscar wants to see Remnant as it is now, and he wants to live to see the future. He wants to live!

Ruby goes with him for several reasons. She wants to see Remnant. She wants to be a hero. She doesn’t want to be the hero. She thinks she can probably do that on a smaller scale and still help the world. She thinks Oscar's likely to disappear from her world if she lets him slip away.

Together, they also share a formidable feeling that they’ve completed the major plot of their lives. They feel lost without a major goal in their world, and everyone else they know is settling into their lives in their new roles, so Ruby and Oscar bond together to take care of each other. In the short term, Ruby’s goal is to keep Oscar alive. Oscar’s goal is to teach Ruby how to drive.

In the long term, I like to imagine Ruby as a courier with a bike that she can use to zoom across continent and Oscar as…something? His day job would be like an innkeeper or a librarian, a job which stays in one place. He takes the calls for the Rose Courier Service. However, people also call for him a lot. They need help or advice or wisdom, so he isn't actually all that stationary. They both have adventure, but they also both have a place to return to.

I really like angst and AUs so I have a lot of head canons about that stuff. I tried to limit the above to what seemed most relevant. Below, I'll will do some more AU-esque head canons.

Favorite Time-Skip head canon?

I have a recurring image of Oscar walking in the desert walking past scenes of Oz's life and then being confronted by the "ghost" of Ruby standing in front of him. Sometimes he stops and sometimes he keeps moving, but it always does something.

Emerald is Oscar's most frequent friend during the time-skip, and she's the only one who knows the depth of Oscar's feelings for Ruby. After Ruby comes back, Emerald pushes Oscar into hugging her at some point.

Ruby is strongly caught off guard by Oscar running around trying to keep everyone coordinated, or by how well he's doing. For the entirety of the time-skip, they've been trying to prepare for Salem trying to destroy Vacuo. Ruby thinks Oscar takes to leadership strongly, but he is not doing very well.

One person Oscar never talks to about Ruby or his feelings is Qrow. Things go from peaceful to bitter and back again really quickly between them, and Oscar is certain being in love with one of his dead nieces wouldn't help. Qrow would just be sad about it though.

Oz is quiet more often now. There's a space between them, but Oscar is more dedicated to protecting the world than ever before so he thinks that's part of the reason. The actual reason is that Oz wants Oscar to live on his own while he can be Oscar. They're very fused together still.

Is there a head canon prompt I enjoy?

I really like writing the faux Dojo Scene 2. The Dojo Scene being Oscar asking Ruby how she deals with everything (you already know this). The Dojo Scene 2 is the much anticipated reversal, but I like writing it where Oscar dodges her questions. He's not sure how to feel around a resurrected Ruby Rose, much less answer her questions about how he is handling everything.

Favorite AUs (I just wanted to list this one)

My personal favorite is the FFXIII AU I have where Oscar is a l'Cie (meaning someone given a mission by a god to complete or turn into a monster, given access to magic and such) and Ruby (a third year at Signal) has to escort him across Remnant to awaken sleeping gods. I intend to publish this one on AO3 later on! Generally though, I really like Time Travel AUs, with Lost Parallax being a favorite of mine.

You guys. I might just be the happiest person alive right now. When I started getting into F1 a few months I decided for whatever reason (the reason being Charles Leclerc) to support Ferrari. I quickly learned that being a Ferrari fan came with lots of downs and very few highs, but today I learned that the highs can be so high that you want to die on the spot because there is no way life could get any better.

You can guess how I feel about Carlos winning today. In Monza I got a Chestappen podium, now I got a Carlando podium. What’s next? Strollonso? Sewis? (thinking about it, Seb’s going to be in Suzuka, maybe we’ll actually get Sewis content, not a podium tho)

Also I didn’t expect to see Eric Nam at F1. Never in my life would I have expected to watch Eric Nam shake Carlos Sainz’ hand. Like wtf?

And that last grill the grid episode killed me. As someone who is interested in geography I can say that some of their answeres were catastrophic. It was hard to watch at some points. (Like wtf do you mean you have to find Europe first?)

So here are my favorite drivers four months and a week into liking f1. This time I decided to do a top five because my top three haven’t changed in ages:

1. Alex Albon

I love him, his voice, his face, his goofy laugh, his personality, (his girlfriend ahem), his driving, his everything. Please marry me. The marketing short film with the Albon pets, I mean come on. Alex and cats is everything I need in my life. And the other drivers with his shoes, that’s so cute.

The weekend was not optimal for Williams, but tbh I didn’t really pay much attention to them because I was a little distracted by Ferrari and Red Bull.

2. Sergio Perez

Okay hear me out. I love Checo and I feel bad for what I’m about to say but I was so happy that Red Bull had a bad weekend. I like Max and I love Checo but it felt so good to see someone else win for a change. Although I would’ve loved to see Checo in front, because I always do.

3. Charles Leclerc

My little Ferrari heart was so happy this weekend. And I think that Charles should have pitted for mediums in the end there and maybe we would’ve gotten both Ferraris on the podium. Charles did some incredible defending and keeping the Mercs behind him to help Carlos. Afterwards he seemed a little bummed out, but happy enough for the team and Carlos.

Also he’s just the cutest on grill the grid, always looks so confused. And his laugh, I can’t with him.

4. Lewis Hamilton

This is probably no surprise to anyone, because I keep debating if I should put him or Charles on third and Charles always wins. Lewis is great and he deserves the podium. Although I do think that George should have gotten it.

Also I just found out that he has an Extreme X team. With Christina Gutierrez. How cool is that please? (Not as cool as Carlos Sr. with Laia Sanz my love my one and only, but still)

5. Carlos Sainz

So this is where it gets intresting, because I had Lando and Lance on my list for fifth as well, but lately I have become somewhat obsessed with Carlos. I’ve always liked him, but now I love him. He has become one of my favorite drivers (otherwise he wouldn’t be fifth lol). He is funny, smart, seems like a very nice guy and doesn’t take himself too seriously and I love that. I guess you can imagine how I went feral several times this weekend. The fact that he kept Lando close enough so he’d be in his DRS zone. I mean sure it was strategy, but still. I like to believe that he did it solely to help his Lando.

Honerable mentions:

Lando. Of course, what a great race and I can’t with all of this Carlando content. They deserve the world. But damn just let Lando stay home when you do geography with grill the grid. It hurts us all, not only him.

Lance. I really don’t know what it is about him. He took my heart. Every time I see him, I just want to squeeze him. I was super happy about all the Lance content we got from grill the grid, but then quail happened. I just hope he is okay and recovers quickly. That crash was insane, but luckily security got better over time.

Fernando. First it was all fun and games with Strollonso and all, but I’ve somehow started to actually get attached. He makes me happy, or in this case sad, because the race sucked for him. Not a good weekend for AM. Also Fernando with Alex' shoes. Loved it.

Max. I feel bad for him. I am happy that the Red Bull reign is over (for now) but he deserves a good car, because he’s just such a good driver. Also he really impressed me in grill the grid.

George. I shouldn’t be mad at him for being good, but I am. But at the same time I’m happy for him. He’s a great driver and damn what a race today, he really should have stood on that podium. But he ruined a Ferrari front row by being good so I am allowed to be mad.

Esteban. First of all, happy birthday my man. The race sucked again, but at least this time there was some coverage of him and we didn’t have to assume that he got abducted by aliens. And again, I love his accent way too much.

Liam. I had the time of my life watching his quail. I might have celebrated a little too much when he kicked Max out, but oh well. And he got his first points, which is great for him. I hope he gets a permanent seat soon.

Daniel. I had to include him just so I can mention Taylor Swift. My man singing Our Song was the best thing ever.

Decided to make a Steddie fic rec list because I’m bored and love seeing these. No theme or anything. Just some of my absolute favorites from the top of my head. All of these are completed and all of them have happy endings because I’m a sap! These are also all really good writers so you should probably check out their other stuff too! Took You For A Working Boy by Pukner (M, 43K) - Set during a lowkey apocalypse after season 4. Eddie comes out as gay and Steve tries to figure out why he feels so upset about it. Explores genderqueer Steve Harrington in such a beautiful and delicate way. Also focusses a lot on Steve and Robin’s friendship, which I always love. Straight up cried over how sweet they all are. cause in the back of my mind, i’m in the back of your car by GreatUnironic (E, 68K) - Modern, Formula 1 AU, but don’t let that stop you if you’re not into racing!! I feel like most people know one of their other fics (The Greatest Thing About You Standing In The Doorway Is That It’s You), but I also really love this one and I think everyone should read it. Deals with Steve becoming injured after a racing accident and staying at Eddie’s house to recover. Handles Steve’s injuries very well, great exploration of long term effects of internalized homophobia. Also just so sweet. The Party Crashers by how_about_no (M, 35K) - Real romcom energy in this one. No upside down. Eddie and Steve are practically strangers when Eddie invites him to crash a party together and it becomes a habit. Such well written flirty dialogue, incredibly charming. Makes me kick my feet and giggle every time I read it. Instant serotonin boost.

Till I Kissed You by 96tears (T, 18K) - Eddie tells Steve he never really understood the big deal about kissing. Steve concludes he must be bad at it and they decide to kiss to settle it once and for all. Both of them spiral into a sexuality crisis when they like it a lot more than expected. Such well written oblivousness, it kinda reminded me of my high school self. Packs a lot of punch while still being really funny and sweet. I love stories where Eddie also doesn’t know he’s queer yet.

Doing Nothing With You by Red0akTree (M, 106K) - Steve and Robin get a place together and Eddie and Nancy start coming over all the time. Really nice, slow slice-of-life feeling as Steve and Eddie grow closer. Deals with the struggles of becoming and adult and worrying about your friends moving away and accidentaly kissing your friend when your drunk and panicking about it. All very relatable stuff!! Incredibly sweet! Also features Jonathan and Steve and Eddie smoking weed together, which I always think is fun. Star Star by poorlittlegreenie (M, 93K) - more fake dating, in a modern NYC AU this time. Robin joins a new band which means Steve has to hang out with frontman Eddie and they get off on the wrong foot. Jonathan asks the two of them to pretend to date for a little bit to show Will an example of a happy gay couple. Enemies to lovers vibe even if they start to get along pretty quickly. Incredibly fun but then also kinda angsty. Both of these boys have some attachment issues to work through, but they get there in the end! Might do more in the future!
