you and rin decided to hangout at your place today and do the math assignment because you were lowkey getting sick of having to go to his home every day. (also because he was just lazy after soccer practice and he asked, no he kinda practically begged you to give him a piggyback ride) you were really excited because it was a rare occurrence that you and your boyfriend hung out at your house. when the two of you arrived, rin greeted your parents before removing his shoes and going upstairs with you to your room.

the two of you really weren't doing the homework and just decided to spend some time together in which you decide to show him your hirono collection! he would be lying if he said he wasn't intrigued with this collection of yours, saying that their designs were very detailed and the quality of materials used to create them wasn't of low quality.

you did notice him glaring at the little action figures when he heard you say that they were really really cute...

"hey, rinnie! don't look at my children like that!!" you playfully shout loud enough that it wouldn't hurt his ears, "huh? what do you mean children..?" rin questions you. "well.. anything that I collect are automatically my children because I'm taking care of them so in this case, my hironos are my children! and since your my boyfriend, they're like your children too! you're like that one father that'll lowkey neglect them.. just kidding!" you reply with a huge cheeky smile on your face.

Rin didn't let in anything of what you said sink in, he just really liked listening to you talk. He didn't even notice the small smile starting to grow on his once cold-blooded face until you pointed it out and teased him, to which he replied by just simply rolling his eyes ate you.

The two of you just spent the time talking to each other and letting one another know about the funny and important events that happened today at your classes. (even if you were doing most of the talking, he didn't care) you also talked about how you saw on Instagram that there was going to be a new hirono series coming out and you really wanted to buy two. one for you, and one for rin! he did say that he didn't want one because it was a "lukewarm" thing to spend money on but you didn't care, you were still gonna buy him one, whether he liked it or not. god, did you know how to play with his strings, you knew he couldn't deny you for doing something so innocent and loving.

"Baby, i think we should start doing the math homework, don't you think?" Rin reminds you, actually it sounded more like a command and all of a sudden, you discover something amazing! "Wait wait wait wait! Oh my god, I just realized something.." you say, startling the boy a bit. "This hirono of mine looks like you, omg omg omg omg!!!" you cheerfully squeal.

"h-huh..? w-what are you talking about, y/n? that lukewarm toy doesn't look like me. not one bit." your boyfriend states. you then place the hirono besides his face, carefully observing and comparing the toy's features to his. the hirono's hair and eyes looked too much like the boy in front of you, it was oddly hilarious. you chuckled the moment you looked back at rin, his face reddening due to the random remark you just made.

"i-i.. no, it does not look like me, give me that..!" rin says as he snatches the toy from your hand after. he looked at the toy, trying to find what part of it looked like him. you couldn't stop staring, the way he was so focused on your little figurine was just so mesmerizing to say the least. you saw after that he was confused, like really confused. he was clueless about what part of the hirono made him look similar to it. it was only then that you got up from your bed and grabbed his hand, going to the body mirror in your room. "see! you looking so confused doesn't make sense because if you put the hirono up to your face, it looks like an exact replica of you!" you say, and to his surprise, you were in fact right! there was a bit of silence as he once again compared the toy's appearance to his, looking rather astonished at the discovery.

"wait, y/n, it kinda does look like me.." rin answers, "told ya!" you reply before giving him a quick smooch on the cheek. just when his face was starting to go back to its normal shade, your sudden action made it turn red once again! "hmph.. you're so annoying.", "buuuut.. i know you love me." you say teasingly, the boy's face heating up even more as you laugh at his reaction.

it was safe to say that because of your silly discovery, itoshi rin might just start to enjoy staying at your place more, mostly because he gets to see you talk about your hirono collection and how you bought some more boxes you wanted to open with him, but he'd never say that out loud. you did tell him that he could take the hirono that looked like him but he denied, saying that it was your property. it was only after he left that you noticed some space between 2 figures on your shelf, you shortly message him saying "take care of the little rin figurine!! you're his dad after all!!"

Apparently saving a region from an ecological crisis wasn't your first rodeo..as you've done this in Galar too.

After sharing stories of how you became champion, prevented Chairman Rose from causing a second "Darkest Day" with Eternatus, revived the Hero Duo (with Zamazenta being living proof), etc...Arven's fully convinced you need a vacation.

Funny enough, Paldea was meant to be your fresh start and a way to begin your studies like a normal kid.

But of course that didn't happen.

Facing the Titan Pokémon together reminds you of the Dynamaxed ones, but you thanked Arceus they weren't that gigantic nor have any brutal G-Max moves.

When it comes to food, Arven learns you can make a mean curry dish, often trading each other recipes.

In fact, you've made so many types that your team is just happy to eat whatever you've cooked up.

Speaking of which..your current team is the same one from Galar. You decided they were ready for a new adventure in a new region by your side.

Inteleon, once a timid Sobble, tended to sneak bites of curry/sandwiches from the others, but otherwise acts like a cool older brother to your team.

His Snipe Shot is deadly and he lowkey missed being able to Gigantamax, although he likes how flashy he becomes when terastalized.

Zamazenta actually enjoys belly rubs, discovering this only after witnessing Arven give Mabosstiff pets on the stomach.

Gardevoir and Salazzle have been rivals since they were a Ralts and Salandit, having a few sparring matches during camps/picnics.

But trust they will BOTH go on the offense if anyone dared hurt the other. Arven witnessed this firsthand down in Area Zero when an Iron Hands attacked Salazzle with a ground move, and Gardevoir's Moonblast absolutely destroyed it.

Finally, Sylveon and Glaceon were two inseparable Eevees. You couldn't catch one without taking the other with you, and ever since then they've stuck together like glue, even evolving at the same time.

When Hop and Marni visited you in Paldea (whether to just travel or study abroad), Arven gets a little jealous that they were your friends before he was..but learns to get along with them.

Assuming she was studying abroad in Galar (after ditching Team Star) when the events of SWSH took place, she definitely would have seen your face around social media and on nearly ever TV station.

She knew you defeated Leon in the championship.

But she NEVER would've guessed it was you who also stopped the second Darkest Day from happening--and quelled Eternatus, of all things.

It was like you were the protagonist of some epic anime, doing all this heroic stuff yet being so casual when talking about it to her, Arven, and Nemona.

But she wants to hear all about your adventures!

Even though she was a little jealous you did all these cool things while she had to continue her studies.

She's thrilled to meet your Sylveon and Glaceon, finding their strong bond to be sweet and similar to her own Eeveelutions.

If you went to Crown Tundra, she immediately asks if you met her father and apologizes on his behalf if he was too overbearing.

But you amuse her with the story of how Calyrex kept temporarily possessing his body to speak to you.

The first time you brought out Zamazenta, Penny was a little intimidated by the way it looked at her menacingly...

Of course, that meant you had to adapt from the Dynamaxed battles you were so accustomed to and get used to Terastalized battles instead.

But you're a quick learner.

In fact your Inteleon, despite being at a disadvantage against her Pawmot, still managed to sweep half her team.

Sometimes you'll have your Paldea starter in your party in place of Zamazenta, but when you brought the shield wolf out for the first time during a picnic...Nemona was in awe.

"So THIS is one of the legendary heroes that Ms. Raifort taught us about????" She gawks, especially as you bring out the rusted shield and let it transform.

Penny made a good point: you may as well be a modern-day hero of Galar yourself!

She also wanted to hear all about your trials and tribulations with the gym challenge, having seen your battle on television and how Leon congratulated you for winning the championship.

Ngl it made her tear up the first time she rewatches it with you, proud of how you were still eager to finish it even though the Second Darkest Day interrupted the match and almost destroyed the whole region.

It lowkey made her feel bad when you, her, and the others had to go down to Area Zero and prevent another disaster that would've also unleashed dangerous Pokémon all across the region...

Yeah, you definitely needed a break and a chance to feel like a normal trainer.

And what better way to do that than to battle Nemona again and again?

When you first met in Kitakami, you never struck him as the type to be Galar's Champion (as well as its savior from the second Darkest Day--the first one being an event he read about in books).

It's not something you liked to brag about anyways. So you downplayed your experiences while talking to him during the signboard project.

All he knew was that you lived in Galar and participated in the gym challenge. That's it.

Only when you show up to BB Academy does he overhear people talking about you like you're some celebrity, and he realizes you've been keeping even more secrets from him...

"Did you hear?? The Galar Champion is joining the league club!"

"I heard they reawakened Zacian and Zamazenta! They brought the heroes of Galar back to life!"

He refuses to believe it up until the moment you two battle, where Gardevoir and Salazzle worked incredibly well together, before you sent out Zamazenta near the very end.

Ofc Kieran is FURIOUS, screaming about how you lied to him yet again and "never changed".

"You told me you were just a normal kid from Galar...WHAT ELSE HAVE YOU BEEN KEEPING FROM ME?!!"

It's so unfair. You're hailed as a hero in a different region, you held two (and eventually three) champion titles, AND you have Zamazenta on your side...while he's a nobody from Kitakami who gave up so much and worked so hard--only to realize he'll never be even half as great as you.

How could he ever be like you with so many achievements under your belt?

But after you two become friends again (with you apologizing for not fully telling him the truth about yourself), Hop called you in hopes of visiting the academy's Terarium to research the Pokémon there.

You introduce him to Kieran, and they have a long chat about their rivalry with you.

Things get a little awkward when Hop rambles about his constant losses against you and his desires to become stronger (plus his struggle to step out of Leon's shadow), only to find his true calling as a professor in the end.....before asking Kieran how he coped.

"...oh um...I-I didn't really cope that well. I got jealous and bitter and..let's just say I wasn't very nice to [y/n]." He mutters, feeling ashamed.

"Awh really? But you seem like a nice chap now!" Your Galarian rival/friend tries cheering him up, although he understood his pain and felt that same humiliation several times before.

But Kieran did learn a thing or two from him, just like he did from Nemona. Battling was still his calling, but he forgot how to have fun with it, and he needed that reminder.

He mentions trading you an Applin, and Hop does a spit-take, asking if he knew what that meant (or if you told him).

If so, then he congratulates you both on your new relationship.

If not, then you let Kieran google it on your rotomphone...

Before he buries his face into Zamazenta's fur a few seconds later, trying to hide his worsening blush while you and Hop just laugh.

You know what I just thought of tho? Why does nobody in the LMK universe know what happened to Macaque?

Becasue IRL we know it's Very likely that Wukong killed him (Or at the very least severely maimed him) in the show becasue we know the events of the Actual Real Life Book "Journey to the West". But we also know that the same book exists in the LMK universe since both Tang and Macaque himself have made reference to it. So like. Why isn't what happened to Macaque common knowledge?

MK apparently hasn't read it and never found out through any other means (we see him ask Macaque outright about it). Hell, Macaque is so unknown to him, MK gets deceived by him in the first season. But he does still know the stories becasue of media about it in the show universe (Monkey King the Animated Series tm) and from Tang who presumably did read the book, and while I can imagine an in universe show omitting something like their main character killing their bestie, I can't think of any reason why Tang wouldn't have told MK if Tang had known.

All that to basically say, yea MK apparently is lowkey uneducated outside of pop culture - which is really funny to me - but even their resident scholar seems to have no idea so what gives? Who the hell wrote Macaque out of the history books? Was it Wukong? Was he so guilt ridden and angry that he made sure that was the one major event that didn't get preserved? Was it some of the other original JTTW gang, knowing Wukong would hate the general public knowing anything about it? Those are literally the only two theories I can think of - and the first is the one that I think is most likely.

And on top of that, imagine how Macaque felt when he realized this. That his death and even existence at all was the one thing that wasn't remembered. Idk it's just a really interesting bit of accidental world building that I don't think will ever get explained, but it'd be really cool if it did.

so....! yesterday's race was.... something....

firstly LET'S GO OSCAR !!!! HECK YEAH I'M SO PROUD OF HIM I CAN'T BELIEVE I GOT TO SEE HIM WIN HIS FIRST RACE !??!?!?! i do feel awful for lando ,, that entire situation created by mclaren was entirely unnecessary . their bullshit reason saying they needed to cover hamilton hence why lando got pitted first is so stupid -- it's like they realized they messed up and suddenly needed to come up with something to explain it .

it's especially frustrating because that entire mess that mclaren created only made it so that no matter what happened , fans would be mad: if lando won , people would be pissed that oscar didn't get his first win . oscar won , and now people are pissed that lando didn't win . and the entire win for oscar just doesn't feel the way it should: the energy surrounding his first win isn't as positive and exciting as it should be .

and that genuinely makes me so sad for oscar , because i know he's been waiting for this day . he's been waiting for his first win , and it's completely dampened and stomped on because of mclaren's awful strategy calls near the end . i was genuinely yelling at the screen when they pitted lando first , because what was that for ?? why pit him first ?? he did NOT need to cover hamilton , like there was genuinely no need for that . they were leagues away and lando was fast enough that he could have pitted second and still gotten p2 , or lando and oscar could have actually fought for p1 . and it wouldn't have had this bad , awkward energy around it like it does now .

mclaren seriously needs to get their shit together because they're only harming both of their drivers through these things . and them airing out dirty laundry (considering how they were saying "you need the team to win this championship" or how his race engineer mentioned the morning debriefs , etc. etc.) and trying to guilt trip lando over the radio is actually insane !!

i also lowkey found it so funny how lewis was trying to break the tension in the cooldown room and lando was just NOT having it . bro was so mad , he threw his p2 cap on the floor and lewis just side-eyed him 😭 multi-21 all over again literally and lewis is in the middle of it , poor guy HAHA

now on to logan's race !! i felt so bad for him , i know he could have done well but unfortunately he had a really bad start and it all just went downhill from there :( the tyre strategy they had him on was... it actually pulled out of no man's land . i genuinely don't get what they were trying to go for there . it seriously sucks man , this weekend was almost his weekend and then it all went to hell 😭 his post-race interview broke me , too . the fact he looked like he was about to sob and said that start will haunt him ... please someone give him a HUG i need him to know we're so proud of him no matter what . shit start or not he did everything he could to fight for positions in that race :(

i was genuinely so confused about what their thought process was ,, and then the fact that logan had to pit for softs at the end because his hard tyres were destroyed... ugh . and we know logan is good at tyre management !! like that man gets a new set of tyres and he is gonna treat em REAL GOOD . so it just goes to show how much of a mess the tyre strategy was .

especially considering how on the radio alex was practically yelling at his engineer for being indecisive with the strategy , saying that the tyres are destroyed already and that they need to be more sure with what they want to do . williams seriously needs to start listening to both their drivers , honestly . it's incredible to me that this tyre fiasco happens SO often on race weekends . they need to get it fixed , and they need to fix it now.

also the fact we found out that alex's teammate is going to be revealed in two weeks... i am actually terrified !! i need either logan to stay with williams and they pull themselves together or he goes to another team that will treat him better .

overall this race was just . it was something . exciting for oscar , but still dampened by mclaren's mess ups and logan's race was doomed from the beginning , both because of his unfortunate start and tyre strat :/

I don't want you to overwork yourself for me!" 𒂭 you knew that he has a tendency to overdo things when it comes to you, and considering his luck (and naivety), things were either going to be a stairway to heaven, or a highway to hell. But he didn't care! If you told him to carry the earth on his back, he wouldn't even ask twice.

𒂭 If you thought Romeo was loyal to you then, you'd be shocked at how loyal he is to you now. He'd obey anything you say, regardless of whatever his family, friends, or whatever Verona says. You weren't a rich person, like his family? Great! He'll spoil you! You're emotional and can't stand fighting! He's the same way! (twiiiiin, where have you been?) You weren't in a mafia? That's okay, he's not much of a fighter either! (Unless someone threatens you, then he'd lay his, and whoever threatened you, life on the line.) 𒂭 You didn't really know how this all happened, he just shared an English class with you, and he was so....happy? He always tuned in with the teacher, and he even helped you when you felt like an outsider in the class! He reminded you of a golden retriever, and he still does! 𒂭 His love language are words of affirmation. He's good at loving in other ways, don't get him wrong, but he's perfect at smooth talking, especially on nights where you two are goofing off. At this point, can you even tell if you two are friends, or if you're dating?

𒂭 And DON'T get me started on his family. Sampson and Gregory were always teasing him, or trying to give YOU hints. They always found it funny when Romeo would blush as you leaned into him, questioning if he had a fever. They love their little cousin, but they also love to see him suffer. 𒂭 Benvolio was actually pretty normal! He respected Romeo's crush on you, and always made you feel welcome! He'd drive you around Verona with Romeo and acted kind of like a bodyguard to both of you! He felt like an older brother to you, and he even told you about Romeo's plushie that he still sleeps with! (You found it endearing!) Of course, Romeo would be as red as a strawberry, while happily showing you his plushies!

𒂭 Mercutio was the WORST. God, he's the one gossiping ALL about Romeo to you. "Did I ever tell you about when Romeo screamed when he saw a spider-" "SHUT UP, MERCUTIO." Mercutio would go shopping with you and Romeo, and all he'd do is grin at Romeo, while Romeo would continuously avoid his gaze, and walk faster with you so Mercutio wouldn't gossip anymore about him to you.

𒂭 Romeo also "lowkey" loves the idea of marriage. He wants to spend his whole life with you, and what better way to do just that by buying you a custom ring with a bouquet of your favorite flowers, his hair slicked and styled, and a nice suit? Yep, definitely lowkey.

𒂭 Needless to say, he's head over heels for you, as if you couldn't tell, with how much he's given you.

Juliet Capulet giggled as she fangirled over a book with you. Her cousins were out doing something for her father, her mother was out with Nurse for something, and it was only you, her, and a few butlers and maids.

"Juli, the ending was already overdone! We've seen it in the last two other books!" "Yeah, but that's what makes it so beautiful! Even though it's been repeated, it doesn't lessen the message!" "And what would that message be, huh?" You asked her, while she laid her head on your lap. "I think it's.......it's.....", she looked into your eyes, with a smile, "Love." ₊˚⊹♡ Juliet loved spending time with you thoroughly, and THAT was saying something. She loves her family and her friends from that school her father was an alumnus in, but they all annoyed her! They're all some prissy rich kids who are mean, cruel, and feels self-entitled, but you're different than them. You were wearing a nice outfit, and Juliet quickly broke away from her family, while double checking to see if any could see her and complimented your clothes. Then, you two rambled about books. Then, aquariums. Then, seashells. And ever since then, it was history. ₊˚⊹♡ Her family started to see you more and more, and while they didn't trust you at first, they soon felt relieved that you were with her. Juliet needed someone her age to interact with instead of Nurse all of the time, and Nurse needed a break to relax. And as for Juliet, well, she felt relieved and less trapped. Someone her age, interacting with her??? Interested in the things SHE likes??? She would've never expected this!

₊˚⊹♡ She didn't really know the feeling of love, until she told Nurse, and she was quick to hide it. She knew her father had expectations to uphold, and even though she just wanted to spend her life with you, she knew that being with you was even more dangerous. If it wasn't the mafia, it was her father, or how the people in Verona would think of you being with her. Not to mention, the Montagues. If you're seen with her, they could attack you too. She hated not wanting to explicitly express herself, but she tried doing it other ways, specifically, quality time! ₊˚⊹♡ Juliet always made sure to call you, text you, and even invite you over to dinner! She always made sure you went to the Capulet parties, and that you danced with her! ₊˚⊹♡ She loves going to the library with you, and you still haven't noticed that she's buying more romance genre centered books! Well, she always had, but those were like fairytales compared to the books you'd read. This time, she wanted to recommend you some books, so you could admire her knowledge on your favorite genre! She loved hearing you ramble too! She just...well...wish she understood what you were talking about in most of them...

₊˚⊹♡ Speaking of libraries, she was close with the librarians, so they always gave her a free book on whatever your interest was! Sewing, got it. Music, tons of book on music theory. Art, the book might as well be a mini museum. ₊˚⊹♡ She didn't know exactly what made her fall in love with you, besides how nice you were, and how you'd listen to her rants about her life and her struggles, but she loved you thoroughly.

A/N: Since I've written for Tybalt and Mercutio, I've decided to branch off to other characters x reader, so why not start with our titular characters, Romeo and Juliet? Honestly, these were pretty quick, but I HAD to write for them. I've been planning on it anyways, so this was a fun little thing.

Funny little concept I just thought about is a full on grimmkin rebellion. Unlike the first grimmkin incident, this time it’s like a whole group of them who are sick of the current sedentary status of the troupe and decide to make like a power play against grimm and the nightmare heart or something. Most likely failing miserably in their attempt.

Obviously prob will never happen in the AU but nevertheless it’s still a fun “what if” scenario but how do you think something like this could go down?

Yeah a full on rebellion definitely wouldn't happen but this is still a fun concept.

As for how it would go down, I don't think they would go very far. The reason why the Grimmkin incident even happened is because of how lowkey it was. It was just one very unhappy Grimmkin, and perhaps a few who knew about it but didn't expect them to actually go with it. So they went under the radar very easily, which allowed them to actually sneak past everyone and attempt to kill Vyrm.

If it was a larger group, I think sooner or later there would be signs of something big going on. I definitely don't think all Grimmkin would be on board with a rebellion - many of them were saved by Grimm from terrible situations and offered a new chance; turning against him would, to those Grimmkin, be like spitting in his face. So for that reason I think a rebellion wouldn't go very far.

But if by any chance it did, and say, they also attempted to harm Grimm's family (and worse, actually succeeded), then things wouldn't be pretty. Just look at what happened to the one Grimmkin who actually tried to kill Vyrm - ripped apart by furious Grimm in front of his peers. He does not tolerate betrayal in any way, and so I certainly see him culling the Grimmkin population from those who turned against him, be it through killing them or exile.

Of course, I really don't think Brumm or Divine would turn against him (like I said, the banishment ending is not a thing in the AU, so Brumm is loyal), and as said previously, a lot of Grimmkin would remain loyal, so the ones rebelling would already be fighting a losing battle. And because I don't think their plans would remain secret for a long time, they would most likely accomplish less than the one Grimmkin in the actual timeline, ironically.

Actually, I have thought in the past about the incident from the perspective of it being caused by a small group of Grimmkin. Well, caused is a strong word. It would essentially just be the Grimmkin who tried to kill Vyrm, and a few others, likely their friends, who heard about their plans but never expected them to actually do it. So for that reason, I do think Grimm would be more merciful towards them. The way I imagine the situation is him killing the assassin, and then speaking to the rest of the Grimmkin and demanding anyone who was aware of their plans to confess. I think at that point they'd know that no matter what, he would find out, and lying would only make things worse for them, so they would just admit to it, as terrifying as it was. And in response to the honesty, their punishment would be significantly less severe. Grimm would simply banish them from the Troupe, and make no attempt at preserving their memory like he usually tries to do when Grimmkin wish to leave the Troupe. So compared to the fate of their buddy, they would still lose their current life, but at least have the opportunity to start over. I think even they would agree that it's a fair punishment, so things would go somewhat smoothly. I'm leaning towards things actually playing out like this, since I think it would serve as a good display of Grimm's character, and also a valuable lesson for the other Grimmkin (as opposed to them just being scared into submission).

I suppose you could also take this idea and apply it to the rebellion concept, the punishment would depend on the severity of their actions. Grimm can be cruel if he feels betrayed, but he also tries to be fair - he has always tried to treat the Grimmkin fairly, he simply got too carried away with his new family life and that led to the dissatisfaction among the Grimmkin; in the AU, after the incident, he spent a lot of time making compromises and allowing the Grimmkin to leave without him for a certain amount of time. So he definitely cares about them and their wellbeing, which is why the betrayal made him so furious, even if to some extent he learned to understand the frustration (which is why he took action to remedy it for the others).

Though it's also possible that a full-on rebellion would make him a lot angrier, and in that case he might not be as fair in his punishments. This is a what-if scenario that I haven't really considered to such extent, so I'd have to sit down and think about it. But considering it's not at all what happens, I think spending too much time on that would be a waste.

Still, I hope the answer was still satisfying. It is a pretty interesting scenario to think about, but I definitely struggle a bit with imagining what-if situations that change events to such a drastic degree. So do forgive me if it's all just a bunch of nothing-ideas 😅

(i hope you are aware that you're about to get spammed with these<3) anywayyyy yapping part 3!! - do you have any headcanons? about anything and anyone really, friendships, ships, pre-game stuff etc.

I'll give you my headcanons for each character and then relationships at the end

Emma- I love her, I love how she always talks about how she is like internet famous, but I'm lowkey, pretty sure. She only has like 1k followers. My personal headcanon, you know, also, I think, in a way that all the counselors are lying about something regarding themselves. Emma, I think she's trying to be a better person and before she came to camp she was actually like an evil bitch in her highschool. It's still hard for her sometimes, though. Her snappy remarks are just who she is. She's bisexual but doesn't really tell anyone, it'd "ruin" her image.

Abi- Our artist!! She's like the certified shy girl. She had no friends before she came here, literally like sitting alone with her sketchbook. SHES DEEP IN FANDOM, like she's probably on tumblr. She draws fanart, she writes fanfiction. She probably made a ship name for her and Nick/Emma. And now that I think about it, she probably made one for Dylan and Ryan. I think she's asexual and panromantic. Some of her interactions with Nick felt very bad.

Nick- there's not much I know about him, really. He's not in the game a lot, honestly. I think he's really evil, and I don't think he wants to change. He'd probably cheat on Abi if they ever got together. That's a straight man.

Jacob- he's a sweetie. Definitely a jock in school, except he was like that one jock nobody wanted to talk to. He probably was friends with weird girls. He's like that guy you'd be like, "Oh, he's so scary and unapproachable," except he's literally like the nicest guy ever. His friends also probably make him cry often, same thing here. He's straight, but maybe a little bi-curious after Dylan makes one to many flirty jokes.

Ryan- He definitely started a podcast at some point after the events of the game, and then it failed miserably. It had like two listeners, his mom, and Dylan. His life from before the camp I think stays the same mostly as it is in camp, he's alone but not because he has to be, because he wants to. He probably watches anime or something, and his favorite is like something super mainstream like Death Note. Also, he likes photography, I just know it. I know we never see it but I also think him and Abi would be friends and bond over drawing. Definitely bisexual.

Dylan- Dylans won every science fair since he was like 5, you have to believe me. Very musically inclined, he can play like any instrument you gave him. He's just in general the smartest person around, even though to the other counselors, he doesn't show it. At school, I think he has a close group of friends. I also don't think his whole "blasè Dylan" thing is totally a lie, he's definitely smarter than he let's on, but I still think he's funny and socially adept or else he wouldn't be able to pretend like he does. I think at home he is really good with electronics. He did fix up all the stuff in the radio shack after all. His grandma probably calls him over to fix her phone all the time. Also, he's a cat person, duhhh. Also, when he was a camper, there he had one friend, and that's how he found out he was gay. And, before the events of the game happened, I think he and his friends went ghost hunting before, like Dylan definitely believes super in the paranormal.

Kaitlyn- She and her dad fix up cars together. How else would she know exactly what piece to fix on the car. She was like a super tomboy in elementary school. All her friends are guys but not in a "I'm one of the boys' way" in like a genuine she just hangs out with them. I think she has a super feminine sister, and so Kaitlyn is basically just good at everything, feminine and masculine. She's a lesbian, I don't care she had a "crush" on Ryan, I don't even think she liked him really, I think she liked the idea of him, but when they kissed she did not look like she enjoyed it. Comphet at the very least.

Laura- I don't really have much for Laura honestly, she's a very straightforward character imo. She wants to become a vet because the first time Max got his drivers license and drove her around, he hit a squirrel in the road, and she nursed it back to health. Trust me, it happened. When she got the eye patch, Max made fun of her big time. She's straight, yeah.

Max- We literally don't see him like at all. I think because he didn't get into college, he went to trade school and became a mechanic. Don't ask me why. I just can feel it in my bones. Also, his only friend is Laura. He's shy and awkward. He's also straight.

RELATIONSHIPS!!!!!!!

Ryan and Dylan: I'm pretty sure the game devs said they're Canon, but if they aren't, they are because I say so. They end up in the same general area for college, they go to different colleges but like in the same state. They end up together, but I think that they'd end up breaking up at some point in their adult lives. I think Dylan would tap into that more social part of his life after college and try and go our and party and stuff, and that just isn't Ryan's vibe. As much as I love them together, they'd probably have a really toxic relationship.

Ryan and Kaitlyn: I don't like them together. They hardly interact, and also, as I said before, I don't really think she has a crush on him.

Kaitlyn and Dylan: I think they kissed once, and then Dylan straight up went "ew" or something like that, and Kaitlyn was like, "we're never doing that again." They go to clubs together later on. They stay close, they're my favorite besties. Dylan helps her figure out she's actually a lesbian.

Emma and Abi: They're in love, they will stay in contact and they will fall in love in their late twenties when Emma let's her true self come out. Abi waits for her as long as it takes.

Abi and Nick: He doesn't deserve her. After the events of the game, she can't forget what he said to her, and she never talks to him again. :)

Emma and Jacob: Same thing here, Jacob tries to talk to her after camp is over, but she never responds. She feels bad sometimes, but she knows it's what's best. They never see eachother again.

Laura and Max: I heard some people don't like them together? I think they get married. Fight me, I guess.

Nick and Jacob: I think they stay friends who catch up like once in a blue moon and reminisce.

Can you pls give your thoughts on what it would be like to be Lottie’s younger sister and seeing the progression she goes / influence she (unwillingly) gains and being the only one knowing she’s probably going through an unmedicated schizophrenic episode & maybe tension that would make between lottie and reader bc the last thing a manic person wants to hear is that they’re manic 😭

i feel that if someone other than lottie knew that the primary cause of her hallucinations—which might actually be repressed psychic abilities, who knows?—is that she's actually schizophrenic, and not because she's actually having visions, it would play a significant role in the story.

what would everyone think if they found out that the person they've been worshipping has been lying to them the entire time? 😭 i know lottie didn't do it on purpose, and that everyone just started to rely on her and she didn't know what to do except to follow along, but still, like imagine the betrayal LMAO 😭

it would depend on how close lottie and her sister are, and how well-developed her sister's morals are, to determine whether she'd rat her out or not. i feel like at first, she wouldn't; she'd keep it lowkey and support lottie through it. maybe she'd even find it funny how everyone sees her as a messiah or something, but she'd keep her mouth shut because it's making everyone feel safer and sort of protected, you know? so, why ruin it?

but then, weird shit starts to happen. like shauna almost killing travis—with lottie's permission—and everyone eating jackie. all sorts of things start going down, and the main excuse is the "wilderness." obviously, since lottie's sister knows that lottie is schizophrenic, she wouldn't fall for that shit at all, whether it's true or not. so, i'm guessing that the sister would talk to lottie about it, telling her how she can't keep lying to everyone because it's escalated to the point where they're hunting each other down. will lottie listen? and if she doesn't, would her sister do what's morally right and expose her? or would she cover for lottie out of loyalty?

the only thing i know for sure is that lottie wouldn't get to the point of starting to believe that everything she's seeing is true, because her sister would be there to remind her that it's all in her head and that she's unmedicated 😭 like my girl would be humbling lottie 24/7 LMFAO so who knows, maybe the cannibalism wouldn't even happen in the first place ���🤔

morgan/tyson headcanons? 👀

lowkey they're funny to think about because canon gave us like. next to nothing but I still rotate them every now and then for funsies. also, they have a cut song called "Something Different This Year" that's one of my faves, it's Very Cute.

but okay, let's dive in.

I like to think they're a reverse of Robert & Giselle, with Morgan being the more grumpy, sarcastic one, and Tyson the more happy-go-lucky, outgoing one.

Tyson is really good at math, which is Morgan's weakest subject, so a lot of their early interactions involve him tutoring her, except there's hardly any actual tutoring going on because they're teenagers with crushes on each other, so of course, they awkwardly flirt with each other instead.

While Morgan did have crushes in the past, Tyson's the first guy she actually tried pursuing, and is her first boyfriend.

also, they're both bisexual. important to know.

Tyson was really nervous about their first Valentine's Day because he knew he was Morgan's first boyfriend, and he wanted to make sure he really swept her off her feet, but he's just a Boy !!! He doesn't know how to sweep anyone off their feet !! He ends up awkwardly going to the Philip house when, of course, Edward is there, and tries to ask Robert for advice, but Robert's like "I'm the worst person you could possibly ask, and please don't listen to him, Morgan does not want you to serenade her."

In the end, Tyson plans a picnic at the park, and they watch the clouds, and eat chocolate, and it's wonderful, and Morgan loves it !!

Also, while Morgan might not admit it, she wouldn't have minded if Tyson sang for her because she knows he can sing, and can play guitar, and she loves his voice.

Been thinking more about what teen Morgan might be into, and I randomly settled on volleyball, and when she tries out for the team, Tyson's really excited about it. He plays basketball, and when they can, they go to each other's games and cheer each other on.

Morgan definitely steals his letterman jacket regularly, and Tyson teases her about it because it's so big on her.

Malvina is not. Thrilled about them dating because she's still not the biggest fan of Giselle, but she's trying !!! She really is. And Tyson appreciates the effort. And while she doesn't care that much for Giselle, she does think Morgan's a nice girl.

Giselle, on the other hand, is very happy about it, and doesn't think twice about the fact that he's Malvina's son.

A lot of their early "dates" consisted of them babysitting Sofia at the park (which, Morgan kind of used babysitting as an excuse to go see him, but it worked out because Sofia got to play with worms !!)

There's like, a million different festivals, and gatherings, and town parties in Monroeville, and Tyson always takes Morgan. She isn't a huge fan of socializing, or dancing, but she will allow herself to be dragged around by her boyfriend, because it makes him happy.

Tyson is tall !! (6ft apparently) and Morgan is Not, and usually she loves it, but sometimes he messes with her by holding stuff above up above their heads so she can't reach, and it drives her nuts.

It takes awhile before Morgan feels comfortable telling Tyson about Andalasia, because she was worried about what would happen if they broke up, and she wasn't sure she wanted share family secrets like that. But eventually, she does tell him, and he's just like. "Wow. That explains... a lot. So, you weren't just being sarcastic when you said your mom is made of magic...?"

He gets to visit Andalasia a few times, and thinks it's really cool !!

After they graduate high school, they move into a little apartment in the city (they're lucky they both have rich parents who will happily pay for whatever they want) and go to college, and live happily ever after, etc. etc.

Also, neither of them can cook like. At All. They bicker back and forth about it because "all your mom does is bake, how do you not know anything!!!" "that's all your mom does too !!!!!! why don't you know anything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" but they learn eventually !!! eventually !!

in canon — i think eren harbors a lot of self loathing and when him and mikasa go to the cabin, he finds it really hard to believe that she truly forgives him for all of his transgressions, so it's hard for him to accept that a lot of it is real (kind of makes me think of the real/not real thing in thg but in a different way - everlark is so engraved into me lol) so he's just a big weepy sap lol

in a modern au — he's probably a music lover, he makes playlists a lot and makes them for everything. i bet he makes mikasa playlists all the time too

i feel like eren would love this emoji 🧍🏽

eren would only have a sense of style bc of mikasa and carla LOL he probably wears solid color tshirts and/or the occasional nice graphic tee and jeans/basketball shorts and some typical sneakers that are moderately trendy lol. he doesn't look frympy but he's not a fashionista by any means

i love eren and levi's relationship so much bc of the mentor/mentee relationship, and honestly levi was like the closest thing eren had to a paternal figure following grisha's death. like those tiktoks where it's like s1-s3 levi saying "i'm not your dad" then it's s4 eren saying "you're not my dad" UGH I CRY!!!!! but levi being so hurt/disappointed by eren in s4 just gets to me and i think if we could hear anyone else's paths convo with eren i would wanna hear his and levi's. also bc i wanna see if levi beats his ass again lmao

i wouldn't say i hate annie, but at one point i used to lowkey be an annie hater LOL (now i actually love annie), so i guess in s1, i really enjoy eren and annie's dynamic (prior to the ft arc), especially bc you can see how much eren clearly admires her. i think it's funny how even tho she clearly beats his ass he still wants to learn from her, i think thats kind of noble of him tbh! also i think bc he admired her sm and considered her a friend it sucks to see him so hurt by the reveal of her betrayal

armin and eren are platonic soulmates and there's nothing you could ever say that could change my mind about that tbh

favorite — i love writing eren's dynamic with carla, i think it's really special bc of what happened in canon. i imagine eren as such a mama's boy (in an endearing way) so it's so sweet to get to write their bond and imagine how that dynamic would be as eren would've grown up

least favorite — i think in a canon universe, i don't like writing some of the more sad scenes, like in the ema au, when i think about eren harboring all the pain of the memories to himself, it literally makes me so sad LOL like im genuinely such a fucking sap so i just cry and cry bc i hate thinking about it 😭

Why'd they have to do Andy like that like- I appreciate a good snarky guy x secretary ship but come on, Erin and Pete are cute but they're just Jim and Pam to the point where the writers actually poked fun at that.

Andy learning to be okay with himself was actually pretty nice, and you don't need to have a partner to be happy. And I really liked that.

Oscar being the gay uncle to Phillip was fun, I love how he's a fashion icon

Daryll was such a real one throughout the entire series, and I wish him the absolute best

The Farm was. Odd. I don't think I could have stomached it so I'm lowkey glad it didn't happen. It was fun but like- Dwight might be strong enough to shoulder an entire series but I did NOT care for any of his family. Like part of the appeal of The Office for me was that they're a family that found each other, not a family who was placed into a situation they have to make the best of (I understand the irony here but still)

Honestly though I think if they needed Andy to not be regional manager, it would have been as simple as giving him his "aha" moment that he was being stretched too thin when he realized he had a passion for acting and resigned voluntarily, letting Dwight step up without interrupting something that obviously had momentum with Erin (also the two of them emotionally maturing together would have been amazing, because again as much as I love Pete and Erin, Erin choosing and wanting Andy was a lot more organic imo than just. Andy leaves on a boat. Like if you need him gone just say he gets really badly sick bc Erin's brother gives him a nasty cough. Or have Erin leave with him for the Bahamas or something and have her be the one calling in as Andy is captaining.)

I keep saying this but I feel like the reason why the show got so rough after his departure was because everyone associates Michael with being bombastic, inappropriate, and spontaneous, but never with anything positive. And the writers saw his bad sides and just amplified them in the initial versions of Nellie, Robert, and DeAngelo.

Vickers was funny bc he's Will Ferrel and I like Will Ferrel, but he started overstaying his welcome bc the writers couldn't commit to him being any one thing, then the writers unceremoniously kill him off

Jo was fine bc she had both the hardass and vulnerable sides.

Robert California, boy what I could say about him. The writing got tangibly worse whenever he was onscreen bc like- it wasn't even that his actor wasn't familiar with comedy, it's that sex jokes get OLD SO FUCKING QUICKLY. AND ROBERT IS ONE GIANT SEX JOKE. It doesn't help that his behavior stems from his selfishness and he fails to recognize it whereas with Michael at least he tries to own up to things. Robert is just Elon Musk the person.

I'm glad Jan was able to get away and improve herself, she seemed to really love her kid. And then that final interaction kinda bucked that away

Uhhh let's see. Nellie. Initially SUPER annoying bc there is no way in hell anyone like that makes it through business. Like there were initially ZERO redeeming qualities to her. Until Andy decided to be an A-hole to her.

Honestly Andy was just mini-Michael but handled less well bc people were afraid he wouldn't be as cool as him, but that's because he's ANDY. Not MICHAEL. And he could have learned from Michael. But I guess not.

Somehow I really liked the overall queer vibes. The show's writing is old (see any time they talk about trans people) but the writers in general seemed to know trans people aren't demons.

Oh my goodness I am so glad Pam and Roy split. Roy was NOT healthy to be around back when they were together and Jim was TOTALLY good for her.

I'm gonna really miss being able to watch the show from the beginning again.

Something I am very critical of however (or like, just aware of) is how much of the humor is built on sexual harassment and assault like- beyond looney tunes or other cartoons the amount of workplace harassment, while on average likely accurate to any workplace, is genuinely disturbing at times.

Quentin for the ask game?

one aspect about them i love

he knows, deep down, how to do the right thing and how to be a good person. but his motivation to actually do that depends on whether or not he is being treated with basic respect. He has a troubled history, but a lot of people don't really see past his drug induced anarchy phase, or the future Phoenix thing, and understand that he is really hurting on the inside. Teachers dont trust him, they have this ingrained view of him as a pest, of a hopeless case who's bound to go evil. But they don't realize that if they really tried to understand him, really made an effort to treat him like all their other students, he would clean up his act, and see that he can be loved. This is especially and obviously evident in Generation X, when Benji becomes his friend, and Jubilee makes an effort to understand him, he gets inspired to be a hero for once, and saves Jubilee's life by restoring her powers and making her human (as in, not a vampire) again.

one aspect i wish more people understood about them

Honestly just everything I explained above. But also I wish people understood that he's just a traumatized kid. Really, that's all it boils down to. He acts out because he doesn't feel loved.

He is trans. This kid is so trans its like unbelievable.

I also kind of go back and forth between headcanoning him as bi, or as gay.

Benji, his friendship with Benji is like so fucking important to me. Literally Benji just had this belief in him that Quentin was good, deep down, and Quentin saw this, and it really inspired him to try and do better. I wish this would come back but obviously that would require Marvel to remember that Benji exists lmao. And it probably wouldn't happen in the shitty X-Force book going right now.

one character i wish they would interact with/interact with more

I lowkey ship him and Brian Cruz/Tag, mostly because of House of M, where Brian and Quentin in his original form (brown hair, shy nerd, no breakdown having happened) were best friends and highkey gay for each other (which I'm not surprised about seeing as Weir and DeFillippis seem to see Brian as gay) and also because the prospect of Brian falling for Quentin who is like, very similar Julian, who Weir and DeFillippis were thinking of having Brian have feelings for, so like the prospect of Brian ending up with Quentin instead of Julian is pretty funny to me. If I was going to canonize Quentin's queerness, I would put him with Brian personally. (obviously i would develop their relationship over the story, seeing as they have no canon relationship at all so far, and it would have to be far enough in the future where Brian isn't still a teenager)

Okay this technically involves two characters, but I think that Zach/Amp from Iceman should like. look up to both Quentin and Julian, since they're so similar and they're both just old enough to be mentors to him, but they constantly fight over him. Julian wants Zach on his silly little squad of kids that he's looking after (including Curse, Brutha Nature, Maxim and Manon, they're like the rivals to the Lost Club) and Quentin is just NOT having it so he tries to steer Zach away from Julian, and its just a whole thing. (Zach has a lil bit of a crush on both of them too but obviously he's too young to pursue something with them). Quentin and Julian having a rivalry is so important to me because I love them both and they have so much in common but they're both divas and can't handle the other's energy. Zach meanwhile is becoming Little Mean Guy #3 and they both want a chance to be his mentor.

day five: looking at local chicago southside sights part TWO!!!

After we left the co-op bookstore we went to Powell's, which is a used bookstore off of 54th Street. It has the same name as the one in Portland, Oregon, but apparently there is no relation between the two of them.

It was a lot bigger on the inside than I suspected. I ducked into the second room in the back and that was where I found the poems! Not as much variety as the co-op but I saw Harryette Mullen's newest book there, so that's cool. They also had The Cow by Ariana Reines which I did end up buying, because it was cheap and I really liked how bizarre it was. Not to mention the purple typeface on the inside.

We walked back to the apartment and @germfreeadulthood made me a little immunity drink (using the immune suport stuff and ginger powder), and then took a shower. I drank it while looking through the Chicago Reader—I don't really look at newspapers so it was cute to see some passionate write ups about new and well known underground heavy music (since I guess The Rumble is coming up, so the were writing about bands particpating or bands in similar genres)...suuuuuper cool, will be looking into the band Torture when I have time.

I accidentally fell asleep for a good 30-40 minutes—I guess I was a lot more tired than I thought, but maybe that means I needed the rest? Was I just feeling weak from that damn train ride still? Is the way back gonna knock me on my ass too? Argh.

We walked to "The Point" afterwards, which is I believe Promotory Point, where Chicago kisses the edge of Lake Michigan. We had to walk through this tunnel beneath the road to get there and people had done a mural of "things they want to do before they die", which was cool, ad well as different encouraging phrases or things they liked about Chicago. Someone wrote something about not liking the cicadas which was funny.

Honestly I actually I kind of love cicadas, I think they are cute and I like the droning noise they make. I am going to try to catch it on video tomorrow or something so I can listen to it when I am home. I would prefer that sound over the clanging of trash trucks or construction any day. We saw a dead cicada earlier today and I wish I had like, been able to keep it and take it home with me. I wonder if its possible to preserve it if I grab one and put it in a Ziploc baggy. I would worry about it getting squished in my luggage though.

Anyways. Lake Michigan is fucking huge.

You can see as far as Indiana from the coast—super fucking cool! There were some sandy beachy areas and some rocky areas, the latter was where @germfreeadulthood and I sat. We put our feet in the water and the water actually felt really good. I wish we bad gone swimming but we didn't have our swimsuits and the sun was setting so it probably wasn't going to be a good idea to get totally drenched when the sun wouldn't be out long enough to dry us. We'll probably come back again before I leave for a proper swim.

There were also some seagulls circling fhis kid throwing crackers at them—they like totally came to him as if summoned and then all perched at his feet. It was lowkey kind of magical and I wish I had taken a picture..

I walked closer to the sand to get a better scope of the area. The beach area was crowded with families and there even was what I think was a wedding happening? They were moving to a dance between the daughter/bride and the father and he got all weepy and I felt weird watching so I left.

After that we took the bus to Saucy Porka, which is like an Asian Latin fusion sort of food place, for dinner. We both got a banh mi and shared sweet potato fries.

The banh mi was kind of meh honestly but the sweet potato fries were absolutely delicious. I had a teeny little cup of Cherry Pepsi because I never drink soda and wanted to try it and it tasted good, but I know it has caffeine in it so I am hoping it doesn't keep me up too late.

We walked back and I showered and I think tomorrow we are going to go to the Art Institute of Chicago!!! Yippee!!
