یونس: آپ کا بیٹا کیا کرتا ہے؟

ارقم بیگ: کِھل کِھلاتے ہوئے، جی میرا بیٹا یو کے میں رہتا ہے، ماشاءاللہ بہت ہونہار بچہ ہے۔

یونس: اچھا جی ماشاءاللہ، کتنے دن ہوگئے وہاں آپ کے بیٹے کو؟ فون وغیرہ تو کرتا ہوگا؟

ارقم بیگ: جی وہاں میرے بیٹے کو دو سال ہونے جارہے ہیں، اور کام کی وجہ سے بہت زیادہ مصروف رہتا ہے، غریب ہر وقت محنت میں لگا ہوتا ہے، ایک منٹ کا بھی وقت نہیں رہتا، پھر بھی ہفتہ میں ایک بار میرے لیے وقت نکال کر فون ضرور کرتا ہے۔

یونس: بھولا سا چہرہ بنا کر، خیر خواہ بن کر کہنے لگا؛ یار ارقم! ایک بات تو بتا! تو نے اپنے بیٹے کے لیے کیا نہیں کیا؟ اپنی دن رات، جان و مال اور ساری زندگی اسی کے نام کردی، جتنا میں نے دیکھا ہے تجھے ہر آن ہر پل اسی کا فکر کھائے جارہا تھا، اور وہ ہفتے میں صرف ایک بار ہی تیرے لیے وقت نکال پاتا ہے، روزانہ دو منٹ تیرے لیے نہیں نکال سکتا ہے، بھئی یہ تو حد ہوگئی۔

ارقم بیگ: بس یار کیا کریں۔

توجہ دیجیے! جس باپ نے اب تک اپنے بیٹے کی کامیابی پر سینہ تان رکھا تھا، اور انتہائی خوش باش تھا کہ میں نے اپنے بیٹے کو قابل بنا کر روزگار کمانے والا بنادیا، جو باپ بیٹے کی مصروفیت دیکھ کر ہفتے میں ایک بار بیٹے سے بات کرکے مطمئن تھا، اب ساری زندگی کو ایک طرف رکھ کر صرف یہی ایک جملہ یاد رکھتا ہے کہ میرا بیٹا میرے لیے دو منٹ نہیں نکال سکتا۔

کسی کی خوشیاں راس نہ آئیں تو کسی کے جذبات کو ڈامہ ڈول نہ کیجیے! کہیں ایسا نہ ہو کہ آپ کا میٹھا انداز کسی کے مابین دیوار بن جائے، دلوں کے کاشتکار بنیے! اُجاڑنے والا تو ہر کوئی ہے۔
