Bespoke: Merlin is a royalist because anyone who had to live through both the English Civil War and Voltaire's exile to Britain would come out the other side thinking democracy is stupid.

Transcendent: Merlin is not a royalist. He is the divine right of kings in human form. The avatar of Albion and its magic. He does not believe in kings because of Arthur. He believes in Arthur so Arthur gets to be king.

Steve and Robin join Eddie’s bowling league and he hates them so much because they don’t take it seriously. Then he hates them even more because they’re turning him into the type of guy that complains about people not taking bowling seriously.

They are the worst players in the league.

They are so bad that one time they scored negative points because the head of the league took two points off their game when the ball slipped out of Robin’s hand mid-swing and hit him in the shin.

Eddie secretly wishes they��d get kicked out but the other guys like playing against them because they’re “good fun.” Also, Steve got his dad to sponsor the league.

What’s most infuriating about this whole thing is Eddie has seen them at the bowling alley before. One time he came in to practice and they were some kid’s birthday party at the other end of lane.

Steve bowled a perfect game! Robin damn near did the same thing!!

He keeps telling people that they’re bad on purpose and no one believes him!

#this is a universe where people who bowl don’t treat it like brain surgery #Robin went to therapy for one week after Starcourt and they suggested doing something lively and fun #so she dragged Steve along to bowling #and then they decided to use that time to fuck around as much as possible #they’re just having fun #however when Erica challenged them at her birthday party: they had to win or they wouldn’t hear the end of it #steve harrington #eddie munson #Robin Buckley

Sure have!#I forgot how long it takes for Chimera Falin to come into play.#I still really love my 'better drawn' art of her - unfortunately it was several weeks too early for the anime only folks.#Slowly getting the hang of drawing Laios. I don't know why I struggle so much but I am getting...somewhere.#Meta time: God damn I love how the chimera shows off the expertise and gap between Kabru and Laios.#The truth is: they are both *right* and they are both *wrong*.#This creature is a combination of monster and human and they only have the skillset to deal with one of those.#Kabru goes for all the human vitals - but she isn't human.#Laios tries to approach her as a monster and is struck down by the humanity he sees in her.#She is something new that defies what they *both* understand about the world. And that makes her such a perfect antagonist.#The damsel was the dragon all along!#...She is really so cute though. Terrifying! But adorable. I am so excited to see the boom of fanart for her.

Yep, I haven't forgotten about this series!

I tell you, the mental block I had while finishing this piece was unreal. I think it was because I had to completely rethink the background and the angle and figure out the second portal.

But shout-out to @caffinatedcastiel for reigniting my commitment to getting this one finished; shout-out to @duckcrumbs for recommending Caff's Portal!RotTMNT fic; shout-out to @soepwashere for re-inspiring me with the Portal Duo post; and HUGE shout-out to my sister, who kept me accountable.
