nanas first post and it’s… a stone ocean theory blog

uhm it should be implied but HUGE MAJOR stone ocean spoilers ahead

anyways! this is just me rambling and this has probably been blogged before, but i was thinking about the stone ocean ending recently, specifically jotaros death in the IRENEverse

for some context, a VERY popular theory in the jjba fandom is the idea that jotaros death is fated to happen as portrayed in oingo’s tohth

and while we know this was actually boingo disguised as jotaro, the theory goes that jotaros deaths are fated to happen to this way as seen in bites the dust ( even though he ends up living) and his final death in stone ocean

i personally love this theory, but i was thinking about what happens in the ireneverse, after pucci is defeated and fate is changed

while we know that the main characters fates have been altered, we don’t know anything about jotaro. the assumption is that while the fates of the main cast of part six have been altered, parts 1-5 have stayed the same as they didn’t involve pucci in any way, and the one of the biggest differences between the jolyneverse and the ireneverse is the existence of pucci

(technically part three may have been SLIGHTLY different as part six established that pucci lived in dios mansion but… that’s besides the point)

ANYWAYS. if parts 1-5 still followed the general canon in the ireneverse, wouldn’t that mean that jotaro (assuming the tohth prediction theory) would still be fated to die this way?

or would he have escaped the joestar fate with the discontinuation of the the “jojo” lineage? (as in, irene is no longer a jojo so she no longer is fated to any type of tradegy)

idk. TLDR i rambled a lot about fate and there was actually no theorizing at all

if anyone has any thoughts about this i would LOVE to hear them. the stone ocean ending leaves SO MANY theories up to chance and tbh it’s my roman empire

@kakyoinmonth day 6: Ireneverse. I like this design I wanted it to be a kind of inverse of the part 6 design. Also note that the pink in his hair is meant to be a stylistic graying of hair as I thought pink worked better. I wanted the cropped top to show the lack of the fatal injury from dio, to show that the ireneverse is absent of the original trauma of the og verse. Also his name is tenmei in this as a reference to the og name.

She used to get in fights a lot in high school and in one occasion she ended up in the hospital after some punk tried to stab her eye out, the scar reminded with her but she can see well! (And by well I mean that her retina is fucked and looking with the fucked eye to a place with a lot of light gives her physical pain and looks blurry)
