Something I havent been able to talk about in a while actually is code:vein- i LOVE this game and i have loved it ever since one of my cousins let me play it on his PS4 a couple years ago. It has amazing character creation and when I say amazing I really mean it. It could hage more clothing and mask options but all in all I don't mind it. I really suck at the fighting tho.. if Io could help me early game id cry tears of joy i love her

been getting back into Code Vein lately. expect me to start being annoying about it again for a while. though now more people will see since i have gone from like five followers to over a hundred since i last brainrotted on this game.

let me start again, with something familiar.

the protag using Io’s lap as a pillow being basically the first event in the game is very cute. and i still wish they had kissed in the ending instead of just looking like they were going to kiss. could have been peak yuri.

"I wanna try redesign Io" then i forgot my design skills are bad

I wanna give her long dress but I remember she also fight, so I made the front wrapped around and short just for easier movements, I'm too lazy to draw the lace details, at the lower dress part she supposed to also have lace but-🏃

I design the outfit to be looking like from illustration for Greek gods/mythologies, so it's match with her bloodcode, probably not my final redesign but idk if I'll continue this, the bandages and long hair inspired from draft and original design

Just finished Code Vein for the first time

Been a while since I last beat a game at over 30 hours and still went "damn I wish there was more game"

tbh I could go full essay mode and talk about like

the game's themes of companionship and empathy and how we're not supposed to carry the weight of life alone, and how it's only by understanding each other's experiences and working together that we can make real change in the world

or about how the "provisional government" comments on how governments doing stuff in the name of "protecting the people" in many ways create the conditions that lead to the people's suffering

or about the Blood Code mechanic and how well it ties to all that stuff, as well as giving the feeling that you're not like growing linearly in power as the game goes on, but instead that you're growing more flexible and gaining a larger range of tools for your arsenal

but honestly at this point there's only one thing that I really wanna say

WHO LET MISS "BREASTS BOOBILY" OVER HERE HAVE THE BEST CHARACTER ARC IN THE ENTIRE DAMN GAME!?
