OK like the Fili milk scene. Thorin there in the background always made me lol bc I was picturing him being kind of grossed out like one of those people who find plain milk disgusting but if milk is really difficult to get to get and impossible to store what if Thorin is watching Fili drink milk (one of his favorite foods, a treat he used to only get on his birthday) and feeling like. Shame. Guilt. For not being able to give his family more in Ered Luin. And also a renewed determination to give Fili a better future, one where he’ll someday be King. this is also crazy cuz i been talking to @oatmilktruther this weekend about thorin really struggling with feeling like he's earned certain comforts and really harming himself because he's holding himself to Impossibly High Standards. so on top of him finding plain milk disgusting (hilarious, adopted as hc immediately💀) i think also he might see that luxury and be like. "Fili should be able to have this every day. Until I can provide this I, of course, don't deserve dairy at all" And maybe not even then😵‍💫what if

Just to clarify, I'm NOT in the ZaDr side of the fandom

HOWEVER, if someone out there was insane enough to write a divorce arc between middle aged adult Dib and Zim where the whole joke is how absurdly mundane their marital conflicts are, I'd read the shit out of it because that's comedy gold potential.

If they aren't arguing over stuff like laundry, grocery shopping, or Dib's god awful taste in music, I'm not buying it. Simple as that.

Bonus points if Zim's literally only in it for the green card and/or the whole fic is written in the overdramatic style of 90 Day Fiancé

guys maybe its just rose tinted glasses but genuinely no fandom ever felt as magical to me as the 2019-2020 invader zim zadr tumblr circle. like the idea that it was entirely agreed upon that yes, every saturday was actually the holiday zadrday and people genuinely celebrated every saturday with fanart and fanfics for literally months was so much fun. maybe i just havent been able to stick my toes into fandoms like i did back then, but i would love to feel something as tight knit and passionate as that again.

There was a bit of an AU within an AU within an AU that developed on the Discord server a while back - I don't remember exactly how it happened (for a time, the Discord server was just the Wild West of people smashing characters together to see what happened) but anyway!

I confirmed (and this may be news even though it's pretty heavily hinted at) that Selpa has feelings for Dib. Complicated and angry feelings, but still feelings! So there was discussion of shipping Selpa with Dib, and then shipping Selpa with Extasis Dib - so the Dib combining his fuckass DNA with an alien isn't even Nullified Dib, it's the Outlier 😂

And it happened in the traditional manner...you know how it is, alien spy with severe untreated PTSD feels unrequited love for the first time, travels to a different dimension and runs into a different (much more competent) Dib, there's alcohol involved, and then suddenly you've got a Meekrob/Irken/human hybrid with psychic powers and glowing hair.
