Introverted Boss (2017)

You know, I'm something of an introvert myself...

This show starts out incredibly funny, and then it turns on the pathos and by the end of the series, I wasn't sure what I felt. I enjoyed watching it, but I didn't know what the writers were aiming for exactly.

Park Hye-su (who I knew from Hello My Twenties!) plays Chae Ro Woon, the sunshine new employee who is secretly trying to take down the company from the inside. She meets her boss Eun Hwan-ki (played by Yeon Woo-jin) in several different contexts and he is not who she expected at all.

Also, the reason why she wants to take down the company is because her sister died there and she blames the CEO for her death. And the CEO Eun Hwan-ki is kind of responsible for her sister's death, but not really. Anyways, they have a very combative but cute relationship and unraveling it all is enough to keep the show going for most of its run.

I liked it, but I'm not sure if I want to watch it again anytime soon.

Update: actually, I am rewatching it a bit. I don't think I'll finish it, but it's inoffensive enough that I can just put it on for a little while before going to sleep and not worry about it.

Update 2: I "finished" my rewatch, but I skipped lots of it, so it was kind of a "good parts" version of the last 5-6 episodes. The parts that were silly were still very silly, but the tragic backstory is so well done that it kept me interested in spite of the rest of it. The "highs" of the first 4-5 episodes are high enough that you can forgive the rest.

You two started dating and Bee will always make sure you’re okay. Like seeing you take a mix on drugs and energy drinks to stay for your new job she would get worried and will talk to you about it. Bee does make sure you get your rest.

When you do at times you would not want to be touch but like a cat you would come up to her purring as you rubbed your face into her neck. Bee just loves any affection you give her as she finds you very sweet.
