Iteration in Review: Iteration 4, 1st Oct - 31st Dec 2024

Last Iteration, the following happened:

1. We documented 2 new star systems on our wiki:

UFIPA-A0400-Haplyo

UFIPA-E1261-Mabokut

And discovered a few more.

2. The new discord server was completed.

3. We opened our own FANDOM Wiki, the UFIPA Archives.

4. korvax404 (noomintroll) began developing his own language, met with mixed reviews. Its grammar rules are still under development, however a vocabulary list can be found here.

5. korvax404 founded the Pax Cosmica's new wiki, after the first one was shut down for inactivity.

6. We allied with the Elysium Arcænum.

7. 1 new member joined us and then left, leaving our total member count at 9.

Every month or so I am reminded of the funniest thing to ever happen in Cherryh's Alliance-Union Universe, which was when Earth, having soundly lost control over the interstellar human trade network, is like "well then we'll just explore in the OTHER direction and form our OWN network! With blackjack, and hookers!" only to immediately run into a thriving universe full of various aliens with complex production and transport and trade system that were just. Right there the whole time. And then humanity bungles first contact so colossally that they're politely but firmly told to fuck off back to their own territory and never talk to any of the aliens again.

It wasn't even their fault they just walked into an absolute shitstorm and everyone was like "we already have enough chaos to be getting on with, thank you. Back to your loser planet, no trade with you for the rest of time."

Iteration in Review: Iteration 3, 1st Jul - 30th Sep 2024

Last Iteration, the following happened:

1. We documented 1 new star system on the wiki:

UFIPA-A1242-Nitsia-Kar

And discovered many more.

2. The moon project was abandoned.

3. We started selling pride merch.

4. Our system tag was overhauled, introducing letter rather than number designations to regions.

5. Foundation Day was celebrated for the first time.

6. The Kiwakas Spur, Licenia, Justabra, Ihoemaina Boundary, Kihiko Shallows, Uculik Adjunct, Poteper Nebula, Ezhdes Boundary, Sea of Joarbacoc, Hehebyseh Expanse and Usulei Quadrant regions were discovered.

7. The Pax Cosmica was founded by noomintroll and DaLJMan420 of the Prometheus Collective.

8. We allied with the Wild Space Confederation, Solara, Empire of New Raxxla, Kingdom of Mandoran, and Jolta Republic.

9. The revamped discord server began construction, and will hopefully be completed in the next few months.

10. 5 new members joined us, and one left, bringing our total member count up to 9.

Common historical misconceptions:

Suits and ties were not used by everyone: they were mostly used by people of high status on formal occassions.

Those men who persisted in resisting will be arrested by converted soldiers and sent to transformation factories. They will be transformed into unconscious soldier drones and will eventually join the battle to conquer the earth.

You should be honored because you are fighting for a noble goal and your new master. Your time of freedom and wisdom is over, and from now on you are left with only your true gifts: obedience and muscle.

A mainly nomadic interstellar group moves to different planets frequently every year, and you are one of them. This time your temporary residence is Xianzhou Luofu, and you followed a familiar companion to this ship.

He doesn't, but he can start now. Pay back some credits, plus interest (you: interest?), goat milk is enough to pay it back, isn't it…? He did explain it more confusingly. You frantically check the deposits in the space bank. The expenses for collective relocation, no, this amount… you can't pay it back. You must pay your debt with goat's milk. You gathered up your courage and nodded. The white-haired man immediately narrowed his eyes, smiled, and patted your head. "Okay, then you can start providing goat milk at this address tomorrow."

The next day, you arrive at the address and are shocked to discover that it is the General's Mansion. Is he General Jing Yuan? You brought him a bottle of goat's milk. He shook his head.
