Lookout for Earthworm Jim 3D Beta Build!
Hello! We at the Summer Home are currently on the lookout for any leads to some Earthworm Jim lost media. To be more specific, the beta or development build of Earthworm Jim 3D!
Earthworm Jim 3D had a rocky development, and visually changed millions of times between 1996-1999. We've shared and archived most if not all of the available screenshots and photographic proof that the beta did exist in some form to at least be advertised in magazines and trailers. There's playable betas of the two previous games, but not EWJ 3D.
So, we must ask you for help. If you can help us potentially find any leads or the full beta itself, then please do.
We do have some links to forums or online conversations to get your search started, as well as listing out some of the known dev team responsible for EWJ 3D.
Development teams: Shiny Entertainment VIS Interactive/Entertainment
Publishers: Rockstar Games Interplay Entertainment
Details:
Development started in 1996 Beta contained Evil The Cat as Fear boss Evil Jim supposedly in the game Appearance of Pocket Rocket with fuel gauge VIS Interactive went defunct in April 7th, 2005
People of Interest:
Chris van der Kuyl Peter Baillie Doug Tennapel Kirk Ewing Paul Munro Ged Grimes

"This is the latest version of the Descent 3 source code. This includes the '1.5' patch that Jeff Slutter and Kevin Bentley wrote several years ago. At the time, it worked for Windows, Linux, and Mac.
Some proprietary sound and video libraries from Interplay have been stripped out (the ACM and MVE format). I have that code if someone wants to help make a converter so the old cutscenes work. It'll take some effort to stub out that code so it compiles.
The first thing I want to do is get everything compiling again, and ideally some CI/CD actions. After that, the code needs to be cleaned up some, to remove old version control comments, etc. A lot of this code was written by a really great team, but keep in mind we were much younger and less experienced back then.
If you're interested in helping maintain it, please send me a message. Otherwise, I'm happy to take pull requests.
This is the last update I put out there showing different architectures playing along. Yikes, that was a long time ago, sorry we never released a 1.5 patch. Some logistics got in the way!"

Disruptor 1996 ps1
Disruptor is a 1996 first-person shooter video game developed by Insomniac Games and published by Universal Interactive Studios and Interplay Productions (Universal in North America, Interplay in Europe) for the PlayStation. It was the first game developed by Insomniac Games.[2] The game released on November 30, 1996 in North America and in December of that year in Europe. It received positive reviews from critics, but was a commercial failure, selling well below the company’s expectations.

Let's Play Hunter: The Reckoning |13| The True Villain | FINALE
After all this time, cleaving through rots left and rot, dying a billion times, the restarts, the BS thrown at us. We finally find Arkady and see about closing the gate. Only he's not the one to start all this in the first place.

Something weird I see is that whenever someone is critical about a Fallout game or the show people always say that the OG producers like Cain, Sawyer, and Avellone don’t really care that much.
Like yeah?? They may not care. What does that have to do with what we think? I don’t understand this argument that says if the OGs are okay we should be as well.
No, we’re allowed to have criticisms.
