Summoned by the mention of Inspectors (my evers), fun fact, they turn red around mobile rot cysts (DLL, BLL, MLL) but do not attack them; I find that interesting, perhaps the self-destruction taboo stops them from destroying their system's parts gone rogue ? Moon mentioned a piece of neural tissue being what could be tampered with to attempt to change an iterator's DNA instead. Imo the rot doesn't really come from an organism in particular, it's a corrupted lump of cells.

Another fun fact, if you didn't anger them by harming neurons or them and they spot you getting a bit too close to the transform arrays coils/proto-longlegs, they will grab and fling you away from them if they can reach you ! One saved my life like this.

I love whenever these guys get attention, if you don't antagonise them, they're gentle giants (and even if you do, they only truly start throwing things at you if you ate a neuron or hurt them). It's so sad Moon apparently thinks hers are still around, judging how she worries the inspector eye you bring her might be from one of hers... she probably doesn't notice the blue hue on the eye.

That makes a lot of sense! Rot is really is actually just robot created cancer I'll never be over that. I've discussed that here I think (x).

Of course the inspectors can't do anything! I imagine they sense the danger, but since it comes from organisms that belong to the body, they can't do much.

Which is further messed up because the rot is SO gone wild it actively eats itself! Larger rot will consume smaller rot clumps.

I did not know those things would actually save your life if needed, I really really like that detail. I've never angered them myself as the wall with Pebbles is just..better and you bet I never touched any of Moonie's neurons while playing Spears.

Also Moon did say she has minimal feel of just how bad her body is, she's very unaware of it's conditions I think. The fact she assumes she's in any shape to even house those is.... sad.
