Innoson founder meets Tinubu, promises to supply CNG buses soon
The Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing, Mr Innocent Chukwuma, has announced that the commuting public will soon benefit from cheaper transportation through Compressed Natural Gas-powered buses. He also urged Nigerians to exercise patience with the Bola Tinubu administration, asking them to “give him time.” “I’ve discussed with him (President Tinubu), and soon the masses will have plenty of CNG buses on the road,” Mr Chukwuma told journalists after emerging from closed-door talks with President Bola Tinubu at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, Abuja, on Thursday. The automobile entrepreneur described the Presidential CNG Initiative as “the way forward” for the country. He explained, “The government’s initiative on CNG is the best idea for transportation in this country because CNG offers many benefits for Nigeria.“ That benefit is what I recognised before I started the factory to produce vehicles that run on CNG. I began producing CNG kits before the announcement.“So today, everyone who tries CNG will find that it is the way forward for this nation.” Thursday’s meeting follows President Tinubu’s nationwide broadcast five days earlier, in which he promised to distribute “a million kits at extremely low or no cost to commercial vehicles that transport people and goods and who currently consume 80 per cent of the imported Premium Motor Spirit and Automotive Gas Oil. ”Tinubu argued that despite Nigeria’s abundance of oil and gas resources, the country had relied solely on oil-based petrol, neglecting its gas resources to power the economy. He stated that the CNG initiative would save the country N2 trillion monthly. “We were also using our hard-earned foreign exchange to pay for and subsidise its use.“ To address this, we have launched our Compressed Natural Gas Initiative to power our transportation economy and reduce costs. “This will save over two trillion Naira a month, which is currently used to import PMS and AGO, and free up our resources for greater investment in healthcare and education,” said Tinubu. Community leaders beg Soludo for intervention over incessant killings
Indigenes of Enugwu Nanka, in Nanka community, Orumba North Local Government Area of Anambra State have appealed to Governor Chukwuma Soludo to come to their aid, saying that killings were becoming too much. In a Save Our Soul (SOS) letter written to the governor by the leadership of Enugwu Nanka village, which was signed by Joe Omehaa, chairman and Peter Godson Oforkansi, secretary, the village union said there had been division in Nanka, and that some powerful indigenes were seeking to silence the majority for standing by the truth. The letter cited several incidences of killings, and attempted assassination in the community, stating that the new norm is to stop police investigation after every killing. “Your Excellency Sir, one of the killing is that of a boy of 25 years, Mr. Toochukwu Onyemelukwe, who was murdered in Enugwu Nanka Village square, along the Main Road at the popular Ukwumango Nwanyi Uzo village square – an open public place. “This was simply because the young boy was from the opposing faction of the village union, the Enugwu Nanka Village Development Union, against the faction (ODU) being controlled by some powerful persons. “Mr. Martin Okeke, who reported the murder of Mr. Toochukwu Onyemelukwe to the Police, has met many assassination attempts, just because he reported to the Police about that crime. “Mr. Martin Okeke’s life has been continuously threatened by the suspected culprits since they discovered he reported the murder to the police. “Recently too, a politician, Mr Joe Mohale was killed by unknown gunmen, after he received the member representing Orumba North and South Federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon Princess Chinwe Nnabuife, as against advice that no one from the community should associate with her,” the community said. The group called on Soludo to order for an investigation to the numerous killings of innocent souls in Nanka, and to investigate reasons for having many factions of the town union, which has resulted to the abnormalities, sacrileges and abominations in Nanka. Speaking about the factions, the group said: “Both Nanka Town Union and villagers are into factions and frictions due to high handedness and kill-and-coverup activities in Nanka. “For some period of time now Your Excellency, you might have heard of number of murders of some innocent souls in Nanka, murder which some of the killings were perpetrated by unknown killers; but the ones that their killers are known are protected from police investigation by the leaders of the influential group. “We are thinking these factions may result to a total collapse of our dear town if not checked; also, we seek that the police be allowed to make proper investigation of crimes in Nanka.” Read the full article

By • Olalekan Fagbade Viral Video; Escorts of Governor ’s aide allegedly assault motorist on highway Some yet-to-be-identified escorts said to be attached to the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Awka Capital Territory Development Agency, Ossy Onuko, on Friday, allegedly assaulted a commercial driver on the road for overtaking their convoy. The PUNCH reported that a viral videos making the rounds on Friday showed that the incident occurred at the UNIZIK Junction in Awka, Anambra State on Friday afternoon and the escorts were seen beating the driver. While reacting to the trending videos, some residents, who condemned the act, called on the state Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, to caution his appointees, saying that their conduct did not portray them as “responsible public office holders”. A resident and human rights activist, who identified himself simply as Paschal, while reacting to the videos, further called on the Inspector General of Police, Anambra state Commissioner of Police, the Department of State Services, and all human rights defenders to come to the rescue of defenceless civilians. He said, “Today this afternoon at UNIZIK Junction, Awka, Mr Ossy Onuko, the Chairman, Awka Capital Territory and his escorts beat the driver of a commercial transport company to a stupor because he overtook them on a Federal Expressway. “Assuming without conceding that this driver committed any traffic officer, why should he be ‘butchered’ like that? The driver was coming from Lagos to Enugu and on getting to Awka, he overtook a convoy belonging to Ossy Onuko, the ACTDA boss. “Not knowing that the convoy was with some thugs, they chased him and on getting to the UNIZIK junction, the driver stopped to drop some passengers. “Onuko ordered his thugs to descend on him, while he watched as they beat the innocent driver. He added, “The ACTDA boss who was enjoying the beating ordered the thugs to bring the guy to his office. They bundled the driver to their vehicle and took him away living the passengers he brought from Lagos stranded at UNIZIK. “I am calling on all human rights defenders in the state, Commissioner of Police, Inspector General of Police and State Director of DSS to arrest this overzealous individual who moves around with thugs and beating innocent civilians. “Yesterday, it was in Agulu that people protested over the killing of Agulu individual by Soludo Revenue agents. The other time it was in Onitsha. This is one incident too many.” Reacting to the development in a statement late on Friday, Soludo’s Press Secretary, Christian Aburime, clarified that the incident occurred on a roadway in Awka, adding that the commercial driver was seen to be “reckless” on the road. Aburime said, “The Anambra State Government would like to address a recent incident involving Mr Ossy Onuko, MD/Chief Executive Officer of the Awka Capital Territory Development Agency, and a driver affiliated with GUO Transport. “The incident, captured in a trending video, occurred on a roadway in Awka. It is imperative to provide an accurate account of the events in question. “Upon observing the dangerously reckless driving behaviour exhibited by the GUO Transport driver, Onuko, who was also navigating the same thoroughfare, took it upon himself to intervene. “Recognising the potential peril to fellow road users, he attempted to caution the driver. Regrettably, the driver chose to disregard the warnings, necessitating the intervention of security personnel to ensure compliance. “But during the process of apprehending the driver, a regrettable altercation ensued, involving the driver, Onuko, and other unidentified individuals. “We are aware that public commentary surrounding the incident has led to some misconceptions, erroneously implying that public officials associated with the Anambra State Government are predisposed to confrontations. “We wish to categorically refute these claims. The state government, under the humane
leadership of Governor Chukwuma Soludo, remains steadfast in its commitment to fostering a society characterised by civility, decorum, and mutual respect for human rights. “We are resolute in our pursuit of an environment where residents comport themselves responsibly, mindful of the rights and welfare of others, and the collective good of the public.” He emphasised that Soludo’s passionate dedication to cultivating a community of enlightened citizens is a principle that he anticipates will be upheld by all public servants within his administration. “It is imperative to emphasise that the governor does not endorse or condone any official of a state government agency taking matters into their own hands or engaging in altercations with members of the public while seeking compliance with established norms or laws. “In conclusion, the state government wishes to reiterate its commitment to the principles of responsible governance and the welfare of all citizens. We trust that this statement provides a clearer perspective on the incident in question,” Aburime added. #EscortsofGovernor’saideallegedlyassaultmotoristonhighway

Is There A Black Henry Ford?
So, Hip Hop mogul and entrepreneur, Percy “Master P” Miller has continued to expand his business venture as he announced that he would partnered with former Telsa engineer, Richard Patterson, to creating his own line of sport and exotic cars. This company that these men are creating is called Trion Supercars. Since Richard Patterson used to be a engineer for Telsa, and he was the designer of Model S car, the Boeing 777, and the Dodge minivan, and Master P, who expanding his business empire, would recruit Patterson and form a team to create a black owned supercar manufacturing company. Or I would called it African American owned supercar manufacturing company and it would be the very first African American owned car making company in the United States.
Now, that Master P and former Telsa engineer, Richard Patterson are creating a black owned car manufacturer company, are there other car manufacturing company outside the U.S.? Of course there are and here are the names of automobile making companies that are founded and owned by black Africans.
Kantanka Motors, founded in Ghana in West Africa by Kwadwo Safo Kantanka in 1994. In 2004, the Ghanaian owned automobile manufacturing group was incorporated as a limited liability company to research into the manufacturing of automotive components and their combination with other parts outsourced from component suppliers to form a complete built unit, according to it’s website: http://www.kantankamotors.com/ In 1998, the first complete built unit (CBU) was manufactured using over 75% of local components, locally manufactured including the engine block. By 2006, the first SUV, the Onantefo, was manufactured. The detail of this automobile maker website also stated that all Kantanka vehicles are 100% manufactureded and assembled in Ghana.
Holy shit, is this car made of armor?
Next is the one from Nigeria, a company called Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing. According to it’s history from it’s website, this Nigerian owned automobile manufacturing company was founded in 1978 in a commercial town in the eastern part of Nigeria called Nnewi. This town was a central hub for motorcycle importation, now today, it became a importation hub for foreign used vehicles. In 1987, there was a brand new motorcycle suggesting that it was built by Innocent Chukwuma who founded Innoson Motors. Innocent Chukwuma was passionate for the people and was core business philosophic of bringing down costs and passing the gain to customers, so, he pioneered the first Made-in-Nigeria Motorcycle brand. In 2002, he he had successfully driven out tokunbo (foreign used) motorcycles out of Nigeria forever.
Now in the present, Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing, or IVM, is manufacturing durable and affordable brand new automobiles for Africans.
Here are the ones that made from Uganda in eastern Africa: Kiira Motors Corporation. This corporation is state-owned as a State Enterprise which was established to Champion Value Addition in the Domestic Automotive Industry for Job Creation and Diversification of the Ugandan Economy as a Key Growth Area in Line with Vision 2040. The Equity Partners are Government of the Republic of Uganda represented by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (96%) and Makerere University (4%). More info about Kiira Motors, accordingly, that the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation is mandated to establish the governance and management structures of KMC and Provide Policy Guidance and Oversight to the Nascent Automotive Industry in Uganda. The Uganda government is concerned that, as it stated in the company website info: https://www.kiiramotors.com/about/, the Market Entry Strategy is Assembly of Vehicles and Technology Transfer with Reputable Automotive Manufacturer(s) and Progressive Enhancement of the Domestic Value added in the automotive industry through exploring Sustainable Multi-Sectoral Backward, Forward and Lateral Linkages with Mineral, Agriculture, Industry, ICT, and Transport Sectors for Local Content Participation. In April 2008, the government of Uganda had approved the Roadmap for the Kiira Vehicle Plant and allocated 100 acres of land at the Jinja Industrial and Business Park as it was funded as capitalization for the Construction of the Kiira Vehicle Plant Start-Up Facilities; Purchase of Start –Up Plant Machinery, Equipment and Tools; and Start-Up Operational Capital. That’s a good government strategy for economic and science and technology purpose, right?
Kiira Motors Corporation was founded by a team of college students and staff members in 2007, at the Makerere University, part of a international consortium called the Vehicle Design Summit (VDS), a Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) initiative with the goal of designing and producing the Vision 200.
Part of the Makerere University VDS Team Poses for a Picture in the Vision 200.

The CEO of Kiira Motors Corporation receives the Frost & Sullivan Award.
There are two other companies that are manufacturing automobiles, such as Nord Motion from Nigeria and Mobius Motors from Kenya.
I hope you all like what I posted and I don’t know if there’s any more car manufacturers in Africa, but I got enough to share these facts with you all. Yes, I know Mobius Motors was founded by a white guy who name is Joel Jackson, but I could be sure that the SUV was designed by a black person, but who knows? Anyway, I posted and share my thoughts on Master P’s intention on created the African American owned car manufacturing business, in matter of fact, there was probably was a black person who designed and created a car in between mid or late 19th century or the early 20th century. I believe I’ve already researched a African American figure who was a car manufacturer at that time before, I just forgot who it is, but it’s a good thing, though. It’s also good that Hip Hop mogul Master P partnered up with a black automobile engineer to create a company, and if he have heard about some Africans building cars, he would do business with them; it would at least bring some attention because these African made automobiles deserves attention from the world. I’ll be honest with you all, African Americans and any African decent should do business with Africans in the continent, whether they move there to do business or form a connection from one country to the next one or more. There are most African Americans or Africans in the diaspora moved there to establish businesses while there are most Africans who living in the diaspora invested in Africa as they partnered with their own people. I’ll tell you more details about the true facts about Africa next time.
So, now I hope you like my blog, feel free to like, share, and comment. Blog you all later, followers.

What we know, sadly, is that we have lost our Innocent, and it hurts! Two weeks ago, I lost a comrade,…
