All People Should Have Moments of Being Angry in Media

Looking through videos of female anger in movies, in media, etc, and being disappointed to not see all the nuances and the power of a minority woman's anger.

I'm so disappointed to see mostly white woman or paler skinned woman.

I'm disappointed, especially because in all that talk of feminine rage, I don't see enough trans-woman, or non-binary woman, or other feminine gender identities there. Where's the emotional spectrum of disabled woman? I've personally never seen a trans-woman express pure feminine rage in media before.

So here's my compilation of a woman angry in media, because I couldn't find what I was looking for. This varies in all kinds of situations. Some are just frustrations, sorrows or disappointments. They're unique, but they're all capable of being interpreted as anger. And they're all real.

🍿No se pierdan de esta película tan divertida, que es un giro muy distinto a la comedia sarcástica que normalmente vemos en las películas de Adam Sandler y diviértanse un rato. El soundtrack completo es una joya y cada escenario, desde los cuartos hasta las fiestas son tan reales, que te hacen sentir parte de la película. I’m going to New York!!!?

Ok, ok (this is a bit of a story…I’m that type of person that thinks every detail is important 💀), so back at the end of July when I became a fan of the show, I told my mom about it a couple of times (cause I know she loved the book too), and she said that we’d have to watch to see when the tour comes around 😔

But THEN, she talked to a friend of hers, who is a 7th English teacher (MY 7th grade English teacher to be exact 😂), that saw the show over the summer. Then she talked to me about the possibility of her and I taking a trip over my spring break to see the show and a couple others too! But I would I also have to pay for some of the stuff too since I’m a college kid and it’s considered my trip. She told me to think about it (but I already knew my answer lol).

A couple months later, she asked me again and that my choices were, the New York trip, or seeing the SIX tour (which I got tickets to see for my birthday from the summer) and/or the Beetlejuice tour (that I’d probably get for Christmas). Of course my answer was NEW YORK! 💃🏼🕺🏻💃🏼🕺🏻

So at the end of November, my mom and I sat down and bought tickets and the deal was that I would use my money to buy some tickets and she’d use hers to buy the others (tho she used her card for it all and I waited to pay her back just to see if any family would gift me some money for Christmas(they did not…))

Anyways, we bought Outsiders tickets in the 2nd row of the mezzanine on March 4th!!!! 😄😄

And then I got this for Christmas…

And if I would’ve known that Santa was gonna pay for my Outsiders tickets I would’ve bought closer seats lol. But the other shows we’re seeing (that I haven’t seen yet) are:

SIX (I was excited to see that it was still in New York, since I was originally gonna see the one on tour)

Redwood (INDINA MENZEL EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!! I don’t really know anything about the show all I know is that it’s Indina Menzel! 🥹)

The Lion King (which has been on my want-to-see list for the LONGEST time!!! 😭)

I’ve been wanting to do this ever since I saw Wicked on broadway years ago but I didn’t get a chance to do it till I got some new found inspiration after seeing the previews for the movie. I’m thinking about watching it but idk the broadway show is too spectacular I think to even compare. Ever since I saw the broadway version of Wicked I instantly fell in love with it. The story the music everything was so good! Later I learned Indina Menzel was Elphaba from Wicked I was stoked! I didn’t get to see her preform that time and I’m bummed about that but the one I got to see the performers were very good. And the unsuspected romance I love it and the way they sang to each other so passionately full of love ah I can’t even I get so giddy just remembering !🥰 If you’ve seen Wicked you know what I mean if not I won’t spoil it!😁 Anyway I thought I’d include my favorite song from it with Indina Menzel and I have to say I always get chills and goosebumps listening to it!
