Looking for roleplayers who can consistently write 150-500 words per post. Please be a lengthy RP writer who is either a switch or dominant. It's alright if you're a submissive writer as well but specifically I want to avoid passive writers who don't push the scene forward with every post. Bonus points if you can play your female characters as flirtatious or even slutty. I love it when RP partners add to their own character and have a soft backstory that they make up on the fly. It doesn't need to be well thought out but just something to vaguely reference to. Genres & franchises I'm interested in writing in are as follows: Sengoku Jidai Japan Fantasy Historical Sci-fi Bladerunner DCU James Bond Indiana Jones Marvel Mass Effect Metal Gear Solid Persona Resident Evil Romance of the 3 Kingdoms Saint's Row Silent Hill Star Wars Tomb Raider Witcher
Please be a minimum age of 18+. I hope this post has peaked the interest of several readers and that hopefully we can become roleplay partners. Give this a like and I'll come to you!

22G looking for a writer 18+ to do a fandomless RP.
You’d be playing an Indiana Jones kind of character, a tough-yet-decent guy in his 30s who has been hired to find Alexander the Great's tomb. (His info is here & you can add more to him.) He hires my character, a woman, as his translator/myth specialist. While fighting off greedy treasure hunters and (possibly) supernatural creatures, the pair fall in love. NSFW for eventual smexy times and violence.
Please only like if you're interested in RPing as the artifact hunter. It's an honor system thing, but please don't claim my plot or the male character as your own.

INDIANA JONES AND THE LAST CRUSADE (1989) PROMPTS *  assorted dialogue from the film, adjust as necessary
i hate these guys.
this is a new experience for me.
it happens to me all the time.
you lost today, [name]. but that doesn't mean you have to like it.
may we go home now, please?
i've got a lot of fond memories of that dog.
he sticks out like a sore thumb. we'll find him.
does anyone here speak english?
what are you hiding?
archaeology is the search for fact, not truth.
forget any ideas you've got about lost cities, exotic travel, and digging up the world.
we do not follow maps to buried treasure, and "x" never... ever marks the spot.
70% of all archaeology is done in the library. researching. reading.
we cannot afford to take mythology at face value.
help me get us out of here.
are you kidding? i made all that up.
she talks in her sleep.
try not to talk.
give me your other hand. i can't hold on.
i can get it. i can almost reach it.
[name], let it go.
those people are trying to kill us.
i didn't know you could fly a plane.
our situation has not improved.
i'm as human as the next man.
i'm like a bad penny, i always turn up.
throw down the gun or the girl will die.
no! don't shoot!
please do what he says!
[name], what are you doing here?
head for the fireplace!
why are you sitting there resting when we're so near the end?
don't look at me like that.
i would have done anything to get it. you would have done the same.
i'm sorry you think so.
i'll never forgive myself.
thank god... it's fake.
look, can we discuss this later?
i came here to save you!
look what you did! i can't believe what you did!
i'll never forget how wonderful it was.
you have chosen wisely.
did you intend to leave us standing on the doorstep all day?
now look, i've gone and caught a sniffle.
don't take that tone with me!
this is the second time i've had to reclaim my property from you.
that belongs in a museum.
why are you trying to kill us?
my soul is prepared. how's yours?
what have you brought?
i'm sorry about your head. i thought that you were one of them.
you came back for the book?
is that what you think of me?
who gives a damn what you believe?
follow me. i know the way.
i find that if i just sit down to think... the solution presents itself.
in this sort of race, there's no silver medal for finishing second.
we didn't talk. we've never talked.
what are you complaining about?
you could go down in history.
you're going the wrong way.
the pen is mightier than the sword.
are you crazy? don't go between them!
my reputation preceeds me.
it would make me very happy.
shooting me won't get you anywhere.
we're well out of range.
you call this archaeology?
we are on the verge of completing a quest that began almost two thousand years ago.
we're just one step away.
since i've met you, i've nearly been incinerated, drowned, shot at, and chopped into fish bait.
we're caught in the middle of something sinister here.
you're a great deal like your father.
how dare you kiss me.
leave me alone. i don't like fast women.
you say this has been just another typical day for you, huh?
you're meddling with powers you can't possibly comprehend.
if only i could have been there with you.

I had a dream that, to promote an Indiana Jones movie in the 80's, they released a poster saying "prepare to roll a D20 on adventure!" to appeal to the ttrpg community

We got in Broken Compass at work and it looked pretty good. So I had to download the quickstart from Drivethru to get a better feel of the game.

Illuminated presents: THE JAGUAR
This attempt at a pitch was officially REJECTED so I'm posting it here as well!
#oh I feel you about rejection#but I don't think you should give up just yet ?#clearly this means a lot for you to have put so much effort into a pitch !#so I suppose I'll give my thoughts on this pitch to give you feedback !#I love the art style !#but the action where he breaks out of the bindings (and his method of doing so) don't quite read clearly to me--#does he just pull the hooks out of the wall through sheer force ? is there some part of the interaction that I didn't catch properly ?#maybe foreshadow the break through his thoughts or more talking with miss bliss to visually explore the scene#and slow down a little#I think the “guatemala” panel (the very first one) could use a background to firther set the scene#where are we in guatemala ?#maybe an exterior shot of the temple#the final pages do leave several interesting questions !#are they doing this regularly ?#is it a roleplay dramaticized through the comic or actual canon ?#what's the recurring theme between chapters#if there would be multiple ?#is it capitalist colonial white “ceo” vs latino Indiana Jones style archaeologist#or is it dramaticized bedroom roleplay ?#or is it all a front for their relationship which runs deeper ?#I'm curious as to how they see the inherent divide in their work and where the chemistry originates from#but on a more logistical “pitch” side#did you provide any extra information in the pitch that wasn't presented here ?#because I'm genuinely curious#like is this an example chapter in its entirety or just the broad strokes ?#how is the publishing schedule looking like for adding more ?#I'm reaching tag limit here so I'll be briefer than I want to be#I'm curious as someone trying to break into the market myself trying to learn more#but also as someone who likes your work ! more importantly as someone who likes your work.#mera

22F looking for writer who’s 18+ to write as the male adventurer in an Indiana Jones-inspired RP. This’ll be a modern day thing. My female translator flies out to do temporary work for your muse, answering a want ad. She’s plus-sized & some yrs younger than him but while adventuring, the 2 will fall for each other. I have an adventurer skeleton already but we can talk specifics. I can write on Discord or Tumblr posts. NSFW sexual themes, violence & language. 🗝️

Ooooooooh Ivy I just had a little thotty thot, although I couldn't decide which Lew character this would work best for. I'll let you do the pickin (lol).
You and said character decide to go to the drive-in on a warm summer night to see a reshowing of Raiders Of The Lost Ark. Of course you guys are enraptured by the movie but you've seen it to the point where you both know it line for line and scene for scene. It led to the two of you thoroughly fucking each other in the back of your vehicle and a rather kinky Indiana Jones roleplay when the two of you got home (lol).
Mary, I love getting asks from you!!
This is 100% Rhett in my mind! He has the hat and whip somewhere in his closet, you cannot convince me otherwise.
This inspired a drabble. NSFW, 18+ only. Fingering and semipublic sex.
For your date night at the drive-in, he'd bring a nice warm blanket and some beers. He knows his best chance of convincing you to fuck him in the bed of his truck involves getting you all hot and bothered. He would start by resting a hand on your knee and go from there. All his touches would be light and teasing until he had you squirming. Then, he'd lean in and press his lips under your jaw, carefully pushing aside your underwear to get to the wet heat of you.
Sure you might make a halfhearted protest but by the time he's knuckle deep you're grabbing a fistful of his shirt, breathing heavily.
“Please Rhett," you'd beg, and god, if that doesn't go straight to his dick. "I need more….ah, I need you.”
"I got ya Darlin'," he'd promise. "Got a blanket in the bed of my truck and we're the only ones in the back row."
Your lashes flutter and you purse your lips. "You planned this," you accuse, groaning into his neck when his thumb circles your clit.
"Sure did, sweetheart."
Rhett knows he has you when he adds a second finger and you ride his hand like the best damn bull rider he's ever seen. He lets you get close, waiting to hear the special sound you make just before you come. Then he pulls back and you make desperate, needy little noise.
"We can stop if you prefer," he offers, licking his fingers.
You curse his name, and Rhett grins.
Talk Shop Tuesday - Send me an ask!

What Non-D&D Games Feel Like to Run
Pathfinder
D&D, but more. The systems generally hang together better, if thats a selling feature for you, and the if you like waiting for math to be done, boy is this one going to wow you. It's got more system mastery to demonstrate which is cool, but in general it works like D&D, so you're going to do a bunch of prep work, your players will sidestep it, and you'll scramble to keep laying down track until eventually the campaign fizzles out or you do. Key GM moves are: "PREP" "Study" and "Look stuff up."
OSR
Like D&D, but without all the pesky systems. Most of these run on trust and a steady stream of rulings rather than rules. If your favorite bit of D&D is, "don't worry about it, make something up," the OSR is probably going to be your happy place. Your go-to GM moves are, "say something cool," "refer to a random chart," and "say yes or roll." Less exhausting than D&D, but you're still doing most of the heavy lifting here.
Shadowrun
Watch your friends make complicated characters and then do hours of leg work in hopes of not having to engage overmuch with the combat system. If you've got a Decker, try and keep everyone who is not a Decker engaged as they pull off a solo mission in cyber space. Then do it again as the Mage goes Astral. If you're lucky the plan ends there. If you aren't, you'll probably get to check out the combat rules as the run goes sideways. It's like D&D, but you prep three times as much, roll three times as many dice, shopping trips take even longer, and your party will plan entire sessions to death. Your go to moves here are "wait," "forcibly shift the spotlight" and "look up a rule."
Call of Cthulhu
It's D&D, but you are constructing a mystery. The more they know about it the less able to disentangle it the characters become. There are combat stats and a bestiary despite combat being a fail state. Many such traps exist and you are going to need to tapdance to avoid them. Your go to move is "reveal something spooky; kill a character" and "footstomp a clue."
Savage Worlds
It's D&D, I guess. I mean in a pinch. It's genre-nonspecific and runs on dice pools, but don't let that put you off. The GM is still responsible for cooking up a scenario, awarding experience, and handing out Bennies when the players play their characters according to their Bonds/Ideals/Flaws (okay edges and hindrances, fine) or when they are performing roleplay to your liking. It's fine. It's D&D but you can wear a cool Indiana Jones hat or a jetpack if you want. Go to moves include, "roll, I guess" "make it pulp" and "your performance amuses Caesar"
Powered By the Apocalypse
Despite some early installment weirdness in which one of these is literally D&D, these are not D&D. Prep is minimal, narrative is player-directed, and there's a larger focus on genre and fictional positioning. Fewer rules to memorize, but the way those rules work do <i>not</i> like you fucking with them. Yield to the fiction, hang on loosely. If you play the mechanics, everything falls apart. You've been warned. Your moves are "lean on genre convention" "stir up drama" "feel like you're not calling for enough moves, drastically over-correct and ruin fucking everything."
Forged In the Dark
It's D&D but not remotely. You're a game master for about 30 minutes, and then you are another excited voice in the writer's room. Set up the initial position and then strap the fuck in. This is the only game I've played that will fight you, like full on bottle and chains fight you if you prep. Your go to moves are "build consensus" "ask a question that spurs half an hour of play" and "begin designing a hack."

I was thinking about MC and Imre being Paleontologists together, and while I mentioned before the Indiana Jones roleplay. I have to admit I forgot to ask about the Jurassic Park one. Like, it's right there. Imagine they go camping, and roleplay as if they are hiding of dinosaurs while having sex on a tent on a forest. Which, now that I think about it, made me think of Brokeback Mountain, but I think that's only because my MC is male. But I digress. Would Imre think about doing something like that? Because my MC would tag along with Imre even if he wanted to go to Hell and back (a Divine Comedy adventure, if you will). Especially if he (as I said, my MC is male) gets to be railed by Imre.
It's not like they wouldn't have serious journeys due to their job as paleontologists.
I’ve never heard of that scenario before like pretending giants ass dinosaurs are coming to kill you but slipping one in still 😭
Yes he would love it. He can do both as long as they compliment each other and don’t aim to take away his scholarly interests
(Love the inferno reference it is a thing that is entrenched in the narrative of the game)

fandomless RP wishlist (to be updated)
All are reserved for writers 18+ as these plots/RPs will contain mature themes such as drugs, violence, explicit sex/smut, and cursing.
jerk w/heart of gold Indiana Jones-esque (using character skeleton I made; 30-40M) x kind-yet-awkward translator (25-30W): age gap, lady love interest is chubby, international "road trip", history lovers, she’s awkward not stupid, "there was only 1 bed"
Crime RP: shady criminal (35-55M) x socialite/vigilante who’s determined to take him down (25-35W); age gap, secret identities, enemies to lovers, hatefucking, lies, action-suspense, dark/toxic romance
Law RP: semi-famous (or at least successful) lawyer (35-40M) x soon-to-be divorcée who’s being sued by her husband concerning her bestselling erotica novel (25-30W): age gap, will-they won’t-they, “it’s just business”/forbidden love I guess, mutual pining, ex is a jerk, hurt/comfort, witty banter, snarky confident guy

PROMPTS FROM RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK *  assorted dialogue from the 1981 film
you have no time!
i killed him. he was of no use to us.
they're digging in the wrong place.
i've looked everywhere.
i don't know. i'm making this up as i go.
i always knew some day you'd come walking back through my door.
okay, stand back.
what are you trying to do, scare me?
you sound like my mother.
now, what shall we talk about?
it's not the years, honey, it's the mileage.
why don't you sit down? you'll be more comfortable.
she's of no use to us.
you can't do this to me!
it would take only a nudge to make you like me.
you are in no position to ask for anything.
do you still have it?
snakes. why'd it have to be snakes?
i'm so pleased you're not dead!
i never meant to hurt you.
obviously we've come to the right men.
what ever are you doing in such a nasty place?
i grew up on this.
i don't believe in magic.
you could warn them.
i hate snakes! i hate 'em!
i can only say sorry so many times!
now you're getting nasty.
what do you want?
must have slipped my mind.
shoot them. shoot them both.
i was in love.
the poison is still fresh.
stay here.
he said you were a bum.
it was wrong and you knew it.
nobody knows where or when.
we were friends once, but we had a bit of a falling out, i'm afraid.
i've heard a lot about you.
here, take this!
why, are you willing to offer more?
i don't know what kind of people you're used to dealing with, but nobody tells me what to do in my place.
leave me alone. go away.
the bar's closed.
don't look at it. no matter what happens.
you knew what you were doing.
we see there is nothing you can possess which i cannot take away.
you chose the wrong friends.
there's a picture of it right here.
boy, you're something!
your appearance is exactly the way i imagined.
they're following us.
we've heard a lot about you.
i want plenty of protection.
i'm afraid we must be going now.
they don't know what they've got there.
wait, wait! i can be reasonable!
at least you haven't forgotten how to show a lady a good time.
i'll tell you everything.
these guys don't care if we kill each other.
you like her too much, i think.
you and i are very much alike.
perhaps we'll meet again under better circumstances.
if they knew we were here, they would have killed us already.
this is history. do as you will.
we never seem to get a break, do we?
let me show you what i'm used to.
why don't you come on down here and i'll show you!
don't be such a baby.
there is something that troubles me.
i almost regret it.
not a very private place for a murder.
i made no promises!
i am surprised to find you squeamish.
hey, what happened? you don't look very happy.
where'd you get that?
let us hurry. there is nothing to fear here.
i see your taste in friends remains consistent.
your persistence surprises even me.
you're all the same.
let's go see him together.
i oughta kill you right now.
they're not going to interfere in our business.
surely you don't think you can escape from this island?
what's this here?
i have the perfect man for this kind of work.
we are quite comfortable up here.
come on. i'll buy you a drink.
i've got nothing better to do.
a friend of yours?
please sit down before you fall down.
i don't need a nurse. i just want to sleep.

When my sib and i were younger we would roleplay phineas and ferb scenarios using lego star wars, lego indiana jones, and lego batman. In lego batman every pnf had an assigned batman character to represent them. They are as follows.
Phineas - robin or joker depending on the context
Ferb - batman
Isabella - harley
Buford - bane
Baljeet - riddler
Candace - poison ivy
Jeremy - mr freeze
Stacy and/or vanessa - batgirl and catwoman. I cant remember which one was which. Hello. Is anyone out there. Its so cold
Doof - the penguin
Perry - killer croc
We played with them like dolls. I am aware that some choices are stupid and make no sense. I chose mr freeze as jeremy because i liked mr freeze and i liked jeremy and i was 12. Thank you for your time.
