Now these guys make up the rest of my flock, we got them after the calls and they’re the youngest out of everyone. Zipper (bottom) has scoliosis, so I wanted to draw him multiple ways to properly represent him. My favourite is the left one though, just because I love the way I drew his “diaper” as I call it hehe 🫶

I drew these before I drew the calls, but sharing in my own order. Their names from left to right, top to bottom:

Muffin , Ruben , Boba , Timbit , Pingu , Maple & Zipper

Our first duck eggs! I was so confused when I first saw them; I thought they were massive for chicken eggs 😅😂 for duck eggs, though, I think they’re fairly small. It makes sense since these are their very first 🥰 our Pekin and our Cayugas will probably start laying soon now, as I’m pretty sure these are Indian Runner duck eggs.

The second photo is a size comparison with a Joyce egg. Joyce lays the biggest chicken eggs we get (think Jumbo size at the grocery store), and you can see that even her eggs pale in comparison. Crazy!!

Does anyone know where I can find a skeletal diagram or specimen of an Indian Runner Duck?? A good half hour of internet searching has not been very helpful. I wanna know what’s Going On In There

It changes frequently, but one of my favourites is definitely the indian runner duck

in my experience nobody stops having a favorite animal when they grow up but people DO stop asking. well now i'm asking. what's everyone's favorite animal mine is the noble manatee

He's a marbled duck. Was originally gonna make him an Indian runner ducks but these guys have tiny little mullets and it's incredible
