Failure is one of the most unpleasant human experiences. As such, our parental instinct vehemently attempts to avert failure for our children, not realising that in doing so, we are depriving our kids of two very critical life skills –resilience and grit. Both resilience and grit are nurtured through repeated failures. Encountering frequent failures and learning not to succumb to them builds resilience. Repeatedly trying after each failure develops an unfailing grit.
The absence of resilience could potentially lead to severe depression and devastation when our children encounter a destructive failure in their lives, such as losing a loved one or being heartbroken in a relationship. On the other hand, no Olympian or entrepreneur has ever attained a meaningful feat without encountering and rising beyond repeated failures. The idea of “failing fast to succeed faster” must, therefore, be introduced early in life.
There are many examples of people who achieved greatness, but not without encountering multiple setbacks along the way. Take for example, Thomas Edison, now described as “America’s Greatest Inventor”, who failed more often than he succeeded. He is famously quoted to have said, “I have not failed 10,000 times — I’ve successfully found 10,000 ways that will not work.” Similarly, Henry Ford went bankrupt twice before he became a titan of the industry. Even Walt Disney lost a job as a newspaper editor because apparently, “he was not creative enough”. JK Rowling was jobless, divorced, broke and had a child to support before she sold more than a hundred million copies of Harry Potter to become one of the most successful authors of our time. Wimbledon star Andy Murray once said, “I’m not scared of failing. I fail all the time.”
While the world works hard at making failure obsolete, I believe, as parents, we would do a service to our children if we designed failure into our parenting. Our children are our biggest contribution to society. They are the next generation of citizens that will shape the world. Thus, nothing can be more important than to develop their minds to be the kind of people that the world needs — not those that succumbed to failure and are a burden on society, but those that rise beyond failure and change the world for the better.
Providing children with the skills for turning failure into a stepping stone toward personal development is as important as a classical college education. For only those that are trained to bend and not break will learn to use these failures to their advantage, while the untrained might find their lives suddenly much more challenging and unfulfilling.
Here are a few simple things we can do to design failure into raising our kids. During their baby years, don’t be too zealous to prevent falls and don’t rush to pick them up when they trip. Don’t immediately go to their rescue when they are pushed in the park. Don’t play defence council when they face snarky comments in school. Let them figure out ways to rise from these mishaps. Set “bound-for-failure” targets in activities such as selling lemonades on a winter day or raising funds to support charities. That kind of thing. The idea is to keep designing new failure mechanisms during their growth years.
We discovered that competitive sports and entrepreneurship provided built-in opportunities for repeated failures and used them on our kids. In sports, before you succeed at increasing levels of competition, you fail a million times, so we prioritised competitive sports over studies during our kids’ early school years. As they matured, we introduced small doses of high school, and college-level entrepreneurship that enabled them to not only earn their pocket money but, given entrepreneurship is fraught with failures, provided them with multiple doses of failures during their growing years. Entrepreneurship also taught them how to understand failure and mould it into progress.
Kids exposed to repeated failures — once they make it through these situations — will start designing failure into their lives in the form of responsible risk-taking and will use this as a tool to make themselves better citizens. And depending upon their capacity to accept failure, some could turn into world-class leaders and contributors to society. In building capacity to fail, you have, in many ways, already begun the journey to success.

Watch Now: Armenia Shoots Down Israeli Drone Operated By Azerbaijan Defence Forces
As India and China are working toward disengagement, tensions have dramatically escalated between the US and China in waters of the Indo-Pacific region.
Beidaihe Summit: China’s Secretive Meeting Could Grill Xi Jinping Over Clashes With India, Tensions With The US
In the past week, the US and China have been conducting military manoeuvres in the region and are using them to convey “strategic communication” to allies and adversaries. After the US State Department declared Beijing’s maritime claims in the South China Sea “unlawful,” the US Navy released photos of the USS Ralph Johnson destroyer sailing near the disputed Spratly Islands in the South China Sea.
The South China Sea region, part of the Pacific Ocean, encompasses 3.5 million square kilometers (2.17 million miles) from the Karimata Strait near Indonesia to Malacca Straits (Malaysia) to the Strait of Taiwan.
In recent years, China has been assertive in consolidating jurisdictional claims, expanding the military reach and rejecting claims of other states through coercive diplomacy.
In a submission to the UN in May 2010, China claimed 2.09 million square kilometers (1.3 million square miles) and said it had “indisputable sovereignty over the islands in the South China Sea and the adjacent waters and enjoys sovereign rights and jurisdiction over the relevant waters as well as the sea-bed and subsoil”.
Since then, China has been building military bases on artificial islands in the region that are also claimed by Brunei, Malaysia, the Philippines, Taiwan and Vietnam. Refuting US allegations of building a “maritime empire” in the disputed water, China claimed its jurisdiction existed for more than 1,000 years.
Earlier in a major policy speech, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said the world will not allow China to treat the strategically important South China Sea as its “maritime empire” and vowed to support worried southeast Asian countries against Beijing’s “campaign of bullying” to control the resource-rich region.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian rejected Pompeo’s remarks that he said neglected history and facts. “As early as 1948 China had officially published the dotted line which is not questioned by any country in the region,” he said, adding that China’s rights have a legal and historical basis.
An international tribunal at The Hague in 2016, however, rejected China’s claims. The tribunal said China had no legal basis to claim “historic rights” to resources in the South China Sea and it violated the Philippines’ sovereign rights in the disputed waters.
Zhao said the ruling was based on flawed evidence and unwarranted application of the law. “The US hyped up the arbitration to further its agenda, China will never accept it,“ he said.
US policy shift
The US, which had virtually withdrawn from the region soon after President Donald Trump took office by exiting from the 11-nation strategic and commercial Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) agreement in January 2017, is once again cobbling up allies and reviving the policy of containing and responding to Chinese coercive claims.
According to Vijay Sakhuja, former director of India’s National Maritime Foundation, in the past few weeks, the US military in the western Pacific Ocean has undertaken Emergency Deployment Readiness Exercise (EDRE). Last week, it parachuted 350 paratroopers from the US 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne) onto Guam to test their ability to “execute real-world missions”.
The exercise was also conducted to demonstrate that they could be deployed anywhere in the US Indo-Pacific Command area at a moment’s notice.
The US has also tested surveillance and reconnaissance air patrols above the South China Sea, Taiwan Strait and over the Bashi Channel south of Taiwan. It deployed all submarines of the Pacific Fleet in the Western Pacific to conduct “contingency response operations”.
Sakhuja, who is also a consultant at the Vivekananda International Foundation — an Indian think-tank – said the scale of exercise can be gauged by the fact that the US deployed three carriers for dual-carrier operations in the Philippines Sea and B52 Stratofortress bomber to participate in maritime integration exercise with the USS Nimitz and USS Ronald Reagan carrier strike groups.
“These showcase formidable capabilities of the US and above all are clear signals of its commitment to keep the Indo-Pacific free and open against any attempts by China to dominate the regional security matters, prevent intimidation of Taiwan by Beijing as also reassure countries who have disputes with China in the South China Sea,” said Sakhuja.
According to reports, the US is also reinforcing its military facilities in the western Pacific and Oceania by deploying 1,000 Marines on the Guam island territory in Micronesia. Washington is also revitalizing its military infrastructure on Wake Island, halfway between Hawaii and Japan and revamping the Tinian island base at the cost of $20 million.
The US had launched its B29 bombers from this base to drop atomic bombs on Japan at the end of World War II.
Reaching out to allies
The US is reaching out to the Philippines in hopes its 1988 Visiting Forces Agreement (VFA) remains buoyant. The Philippines is critical to the US to challenge the naval power of China. The US is also revitalizing military contacts with Australia, Vietnam and Singapore.
“There are clear indicators that the US has serious plan to build military infrastructure in the Pacific Ocean and it is fair to argue that it would explore Visiting Forces Agreements or similar such arrangements with many other countries particularly in Southeast Asia,” said Sakhuja.
Given China’s growing economic and strategic interests, strategic experts are suggesting that India, Japan, Australia and the US should increase the wide strategic anti-submarine warfare (ASW) surveillance in the region.
Sujan R. Chinoy, a former diplomat and director-general of India’s premier official think-tank, Institute for Defense Studies and Analyses, asked New Delhi to give the US, Japan, Australia, France or the UK access to the Andaman and Nicobar (A&N) Islands in the Bay of Bengal.
“These islands are a strategic asset for India to assert its dominance on the major East-West maritime trade route that passes through the Malacca Strait,” he said.
He believes access to US assets to carry out operational turnaround at the A&N Islands is in accordance with the Logistics Exchange Memorandum of Agreement, between India and the US.
Interests in freedom of navigation
India’s former National Security Advisor Shivshankar Menon believes the region has attained considerable significance for countries in the globalized world.
“For instance, when we [India] started economic reforms, the share of the external economy [merchandise trade] to the GDP was a mere 14%. It is now nearly 50%,” he told Anadolu Agency.
Menon said since the dependence on the external world is more, there is a real interest in freedom of navigation in the South China Sea. He said while China also has a real interest as it is also a major trading nation, but it is in the interest of all to keep the sea lanes free and open.
A few years ago, India offered China dialogue on maritime security, he said, which would include all these issues such as our interests in the South China Sea and the Chinese presence in the Indian Ocean region. “They are also interested in freedom of navigation in the Indian Ocean. Their oil also comes through Hormuz and Malacca Straits,” he said.
Monroe Doctrine
Humphrey Hawksley the author of Asian Waters: The Struggle Over the Indo-Pacific and the Challenge to American Power, said China’s claims on the South China Sea bear many similarities to US claims about their own Pacific and Atlantic oceans.
Recalling history, he said in the 1820s, the US introduced the Monroe Doctrine for the Caribbean and Latin America to stop European colonial powers from interfering in its trade and waters, as it was becoming a rising power.
“So, China is doing pretty much what the U.S. did 200 years ago, say when it was a rising power against the declining powers. Now you have a sensitive U.S. Congress with a hard-headed president like Trump, a hard-headed president like Xi Jinping, and this is a very dangerous situation,” Hawksley said.

ANA to Operate International Flights Out of Haneda T2 and T3 from 29 March
All Nippon Airways (ANA) has confirmed that it will start operating both domestic and international flights out of Terminal 2 at Haneda Airport (HND) in Tokyo, and continue to serve international flights out of Terminal 3 starting on 29 March 2020. With domestic and international flights at Terminal 2, passengers will no longer need to transfer between terminals to reach their connecting flight. The minimum connecting time (MCT) for domestic to international connections within Terminal 2 will be reduced from 70 minutes to 55 minutes.
“ANA has expanded its international service in order to meet the growing demand for travel to Japan, and the changes at Haneda Airport will equip us to meet passenger needs,” said Masaki Yokai, Senior Vice President of ANA. “We are excited about the prospect of strengthening our ability to offer convenient and efficient travel to our growing customer base.” Terminal 3 was formerly known as the International Terminal, and its new name was initially announced in February 2019. Officials at Haneda Airport chose to rename the terminal to simplify the flight experience for passengers. In light of these changes, ANA encourages passengers to check which terminal their flight will depart from before arriving at the airport. *🇮🇳Facts about India🇮🇳*
*Thiruvananthapuram,* earlier known as Trivandrum, is the capital city of Kerala. The name literally splits into " *Tiru","Anantha""puram"* meaning "the town of Lord ANANTHA". This is really true since the temple is at the heart of the town and for generations, the kings have called themselves "Padmanabha-Dasa" or the "servants of LORD Ananthapadmanabha", and ruled the state as the representatives of LORD Anantha-Padmanabha.
The town has a history of supporting fine art and culture. The Kings of Tiruvancore (Thirunals as they are known) have not only promoted art but have themselves been accomplished artists. The most famous of them are Swathi Tirunal who is a well known composer in both Karnatak and Hindustani systems of music, and Raja Ravi Varma the internationally acclaimed painter, well known for inventing paints using natural materials.

*why we can see one side of moon*
Only one side of the Moon is visible from Earth because the Moon rotates on its axis at the same rate that the Moon orbits the Earth – a situation known as synchronous rotation, or tidal locking. The Moon is directly illuminated by the Sun, and the cyclically varying viewing conditions cause the lunar phases.

Each Veda has four subdivisions – the Samhitas (mantras and benedictions), the Aranyakas (text on rituals, ceremonies, sacrifices and symbolic-sacrifices), the Brahmanas (commentaries on rituals, ceremonies and sacrifices), and the Upanishads (texts discussing meditation, philosophy and spiritual knowledge). Some scholars add a fifth category – the Upasanas (worship). The texts of the Upanishads discuss ideas akin to the heterodox sramana-traditions.
Vedas are śruti ("what is heard"), distinguishing them from other religious texts, which are called smṛti ("what is remembered").
🤔 *How ........* ⁉
*WORKING PRINCIPLE OF A DVD PLAYER?* 💿📀
The DVD ( Digital Video Disc or Digital Versatile Disc) is a digital optical disc data storage format invented and developed in 1995.
DVD base layer made of a polycarbonate plastic. A thin layer of aluminum coating over the polycarbonate plastic. A clear protective acrylic coating over the aluminum layer.
The pits and bumps in the DVD are hit by the laser from the optical mechanism of the DVD player. This laser will be reflected differently according to the change of pits and bumps. Though the laser hits a single spot, the DVD moves in a circular motion so that the entire area is covered.
Red Laser shines onto a spinning DVD disc, reads the bumps (known as “pits”) in the reflection, converts it to 1s (Shiny) and 0s (Non-Shiny Pit), and the circuitry inside the player converts those 1s and 0s into sound and picture.
These reflected laser beams are then collected by a light sensor (eg. photo-detector) which converts the different signals into a binary code. In short, the optical system helps in converting the data from the DVD into a digital code. The binary signal is then sent to a Digital to Analog converter which will be setup in the PCB (Printed Circuit Board). Thus the corresponding analog signal of the DVD is obtained. The PCB also has amplifiers which amplify the signal and then sends it to the graphic and audio systems of the computer/TV. Thus, the corresponding audio/video signal is obtained.

US signs defence cooperation deal with Maldives amidst China's growing presence in Indian Ocean
Washington: The US has signed a framework for defence cooperation with the Maldives to deepen engagement in support of maintaining peace and security in the strategic Indian Ocean, the Pentagon has announced, as the Trump administration looks for strengthening alliances in the Indo-Pacific to counter China's growing presence in the region.
The framework for defence and security relationship was signed in Philadelphia on 10 September between Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for South and Southeast Asia Reed Werner and Maldivian Minister of Defence Mariya Didi.
"The framework sets forth both countries' intent to deepen engagement and cooperation in support of maintaining peace and security in the Indian Ocean, and marks an important step forward in the defence partnership, the Pentagon said.
The Indo-Pacific is a biogeographic region of Earth's seas, comprising the tropical waters of the Indian Ocean, the western and central Pacific Ocean.
During discussions after signing the agreement, Mariya said the framework will strengthen defence and security cooperation between the two countries, Maldivian portal Sun Online reported.
Mariya said that peace and security in the Indo-Pacific and Indian Ocean region is tied to the best interests of both countries.
She stressed the importance of bilateral dialogue and engagement, against a backdrop of growing transnational threats such as piracy, violent extremism, terrorism, and illicit trade, which she said remained relevant, even amidst the coronavirus pandemic.
According to a statement released by the Defence Ministry, the framework outlines a number of bilateral activities, including senior-level dialogues, discussions, engagements, and opportunities in areas such as maritime domain awareness, natural disasters, and humanitarian relief operations, the report said.
Mariya said that the Maldivian government sees the framework as an important milestone in defence and security cooperation between the Maldives and the US.
Werner and Didi also discussed US support for the island nation in its response to COVID-19 and areas for future cooperation, and agreed to work toward scheduling the first Defense and Security Dialogue, the Pentagon said. Both sides reiterated their commitment to a free and open Indo-Pacific that promotes the security and prosperity of all nations in the region, the Pentagon said.
The Central Indo-Pacific includes the numerous seas and straits connecting the Indian and Pacific oceans.
The resource-rich Indo-Pacific region is where China has been trying to spread its influence. The US has also been pushing for a broader role by India in the strategically important region. China is eyeing to expand its influence in the Indian Ocean region. China has already taken control of Pakistan's strategic Gwadar Port on the Arabian Sea.
China is engaged in hotly contested territorial disputes in the South China Sea, and with Japan in the East China Sea. Both the areas are said to be rich in minerals, oil and other natural resources.
Beijing claims almost all of the South China Sea. Vietnam, the Philippines, Malaysia, Brunei and Taiwan have overlapping claims in the waterway.

Will India Continue Its Quest for Global Leadership? The US Should Hope So.
If India retreats, the United States will drop a husband or wife in Asia at a time when it can hardly find the money for to do so.
By Sumona Guha for The Diplomat
Could 20, 2019
On Might 23, India will have a new governing administration, and the stakes are greater than numerous foreign plan watchers in Washington understand. Indian elections are notoriously hard to forecast, and we could see a array of outcomes next a marketing campaign that has been fiercely contested on difficulties of economic performance, countrywide protection, and identification. No issue what the outcome, the issue of no matter if we see continuity or adjust in India’s foreign coverage has implications for U.S. extensive expression pursuits in Asia.
Due to the fact coming to electrical power in in 2014, Key Minister Narendra Modi has pursued a extra energetic overseas policy than any Indian federal government in recent yrs. Below his management, India has taken actions to assist the policies-centered international buy. Large amongst these are India’s moves to guidance liberty of navigation, back again the basic principle of territorial integrity and national sovereignty, and help financial progress that follows finest methods in international development. In the encounter of climbing international tensions, the United States has far more than a passing desire in looking at India keep its rising presence on the planet phase.
India is the world’s biggest democracy and U.S. administrations from both equally political get-togethers have prioritized more robust relations with India for the greater element of 20 yrs. But Modi’s far more assertive foreign plan is new.

Since profitable its independence from Great Britain in 1947, and especially all through the Chilly War, India was a leader of the nonaligned movement, positioning itself as neutral in between the United States and the Soviet Union. Given that the finish of the Chilly War, India has remained fiercely protecting of its strategic autonomy and the possibility to get the job done with a wide variety of associates as the condition demanded.
Yet, the trajectory of India’s international policy beneath Modi has been positive for the United States. Modi jettisoned the nonaligned motion that had defined Indian international policy for many years and fashioned himself as a leader of a world-wide energy. He brought new coherence to India’s overseas policy and took positions that benefited not only India but also tried out to uphold a established of rules for other nations around the world to comply with.
For illustration, India chose to abide by a 2014 final decision of the Hague Tribunal in its extended-standing maritime dispute with Bangladesh. In 2015, India decided to undertake a multistakeholder model of online governance, in contrast with Russia and China. In 2016, India backed the Hague global tribunal in the China-Philippines territorial dispute. In 2017, and then in again in 2019, India took a principled public posture towards China’s Belt and Road Initiative.
A further illustration is India’s role in the Indo-Pacific location. India is slowly but absolutely discovering its individual way to placement alone in a location that is progressively dominated by China’s increase. Like many major powers, India has to stability its individual bilateral economic ties to China with fears about Chinese navy expansionism and predatory lending.
India has made its individual Indian Ocean strategy, which includes a joint fusion center for information sharing, new agreements for technical and details exchanges with the United States, and much better relations with nations like Sri Lanka and Maldives that are progressively dependent on Chinese financial commitment.
Indian foreign plan is not solely centered on containing China, of study course, nor has it shifted absolutely toward partnership with the United States. However, specified the overarching preoccupation with handling China’s rise, it is difficult to think about India going for walks away from the significant ways it has taken in modern years to bolster its partnerships with countries to control China’s growing impact in South Asia.
New Delhi is not building these selections to please Washington. It is having them due to the fact they are in its curiosity. These actions are steady with India’s evolving image of its strategic autonomy and for that reason is predicted to proceed no make any difference who prevails in the elections.
On the other hand, if India retreats, the United States will lose a companion in Asia at a time when it can barely manage to do so.
Sumona Guha is a Vice President at Albright Stonebridge Team, a world wide enterprise method company. Prior to that, she served 18 years in the U.S. government, including in the the Office environment of the Vice President of the United States, the Business of the Less than Secretary of Condition for Political Affairs, and the Secretary of State’s Coverage Scheduling business, as properly as in U.S. embassies in Moscow and Paris.

U.S., India to discuss sale of drones, exchange of satellite data
WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The United States and India will seek to finalize a number of defense agreements during high-level talks this week that aim to draw their two militaries closer and counter-balance China’s influence in the region.
FILE PHOTO: U.S. President Donald Trump shakes hands with India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi during a bilateral meeting alongside the ASEAN Summit in Manila, Philippines November 13, 2017. REUTERS/Jonathan Ernst/File photo
U.S. Defense Secretary Jim Mattis and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo will hold talks with India’s Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj and Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for the so-called two-plus-two discussions.
Already canceled twice this year, it is the highest level of dialogue between the two countries and was agreed upon by U.S. President Donald Trump and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi last year.
Officials and experts believe that the meeting is not only symbolically important, but will give the world’s two largest democracies a chance to make concrete progress while ironing out significant differences, including over India’s ties with Russia and Iran.
“The 2+2 presents an historic opportunity to develop our growing partnership and to explore ways of enhancing our security cooperation,” the top U.S. military officer, Marine General Joseph Dunford, told reporters traveling with him to the talks.
The talks will be held on Thursday.
Randall Schriver, the Pentagon’s top Asia official, predicted last week that the discussions would produce “a set of actual concrete outcomes.”
The United States and India have increased defense ties over the past decade, in part because of mutual concerns over an increasingly assertive China.
India has been alarmed at China’s expanding security and economic links in South Asia. The nuclear-armed Asian giants were locked in a 10-week military stand-off last year in a remote, high-altitude stretch of a boundary in the Himalayas.
Earlier this year, the U.S. military renamed its Pacific Command the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command, a move underscoring the growing importance of India to the Pentagon.
Among the topics for discussion, the United States is hoping to finalize an agreement on a communications framework that would allow for securely sharing information.
The Communications Compatibility and Security Agreement (COMCASA) has long been a demand of the United States and would open the door for Washington to sell sensitive defense equipment to India, like the armed version of Guardian drones.
India has historically been opposed to the agreement because it sees it as being too intrusive. Earlier this year however, an Indian defense source told Reuters that New Delhi had shed its opposition to the agreement.
“That would be a big deal, if that announcement comes out of this… in terms of advancing the interoperability, that would really be a kind of big next step,” said Alyssa Ayres, a former U.S. State Department official and now a senior fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations.
The two sides are also negotiating another agreement, a Basic Exchange and Cooperation Agreement (BECA), which would enable them to share advanced satellite data for navigation and missile targeting, Indian military sources said.
The United States is keen to tap into India’s large defense market. It has emerged as India’s No. 2 weapons supplier, closing $15 billion worth of deals over the last decade.
A senior U.S. defense official, speaking on the condition of anonymity, said the two countries were looking at a carrying out a major joint exercise – involving troops on land, at sea and in the air. Further details were not immediately available.
The two countries hold elaborate navy-to-navy maneuvers, air exercises and even drills involving Special Forces, but war games involving all three arms represent a scaling up of defense cooperation.
WAIVERS FROM SANCTIONS
Despite the optimism, U.S. officials acknowledge that the two countries will also discuss significant disagreements.
“India wonders about the coherence of U.S. strategy and worries the U.S. is pursuing policies inimical to key Indian interests like its continued dependence on Russian military hardware and Iranian oil,” said Sameer Lalwani, co-director of the South Asia program at the Stimson Center think tank in Washington.
The United States is concerned about India’s planned purchase of Russian S-400 surface-to-air missile systems.
The United States has imposed sweeping sanctions on Russia, under which any country engaged with its defense and intelligence sectors could face secondary U.S. sanctions. However, a new defense bill gives the president the authority to grant waivers in case of national security interests.
Schriver, from the Pentagon, said there was no guarantee India would get a waiver if it bought the Russian system but was open to speaking with India about providing alternative systems.
India has nearly concluded commercial negotiations with Russia for the missile systems and intends to proceed with it as part of its defenses against China, a defense ministry official said.
For months, the two sides have been aiming to reach an agreement on the deal before Russian President Vladimir Putin’s visit to India, planned for early October for annual summit talks.
The United States is also pushing countries to halt oil imports from Iran after Trump withdrew from a 2015 deal between Iran and six world powers.
India, Iran’s top oil buyer after China, has so far not decided on the size of any cut to Iranian imports and continues to seek a waiver from the United States.
U.S. sanctions on Iran’s energy sector are set to be re-imposed after a 180-day “wind-down period” ending on Nov. 4.
“I think we need to sit and have that very open, candid, sober dialogue and see where we come out the other side,” Schriver said.
