the child-like demon seemed to like kaede! alice runs off with a few treats that chef prepared for her outer-worldly tea party. her eerie yet cheerful giggle fades as she walks away from the two.... the chef was curious about this parallel tokyo, it being dangerous, chihiro opts to bringing her to a demon haunt, where his demon team and himself were away from the more harsher areas. But even as she was brought to the safer areas, it was still so hard to believe that this was all real.... and that Chihiro was a demi-god, who can change his form completely and everything! She thinks he looks really cool... (and super hot and pretty, too, but she always thinks he does, anyway!) And if she wasn't already a smitten mess: him protecting her the whole while until they reached safety, only made her fall for him harder...

"But of course! Uehara-kun's friends are my friends, too! I could never be scared of them... hahaha, that just shows they really love you! She is!! I'm so happy she accepted me as a friend... Heheh, I guess it's just her thing? Really though, I never imagined I would make so many demon friends, too... but it's such a nice surprise! -googles how to be a fun mun so people will talk/plot with me- I feel like this blog started off well, and with lots of interest, but has faded a bit lately or maybe I’ve been annoying which I don’t mean to be! I’m just a mun that enjoys ooc interaction and plotting. Or maybe it’s my writing/portrayals in general. Everyone is so amazing with their characters and writing here plus coming up with amazing AUs and I am… a potato in comparison, I feel xD

I’ve probably been out of the RP game too long and just joining a new fandom/RPC can always be intimidating and challenging to fit into. I hope I haven’t annoyed or been bothersome to anyone here! Years of being treated like she was someone else's property had made her feel like that's all she was — an object. Something that was to be desired and kept all to someone else. Abraham. The ballerina who was making a name for herself, her name featured in show credits, an audience at her feet clapping at her performance as the curtain closed on the stage. The star that wanted to shine brightly among her peers, who wanted to see the world, who wanted to dance in the new world if at all possible. Her angelic face was spotted from rows back by a monster; he had her in his sights and her fate was sealed. Nadja became someone, something that he wanted and wasn't willing to let go of no matter the cost . . . and it had cost her so much.

Nadja was not allowed to bloom into the person that she wanted to become, forced by him to become the person that he "saw" in her, or at the very least, wanted to see in her. She shapeshifted into whatever he wanted her to be so that the chains that she felt bound to weren't as tight, alluding herself to some twisted version of freedom until she fought to actually be free of him. Even then, she still felt like he had never truly let his favorite toy go.

She was sure that she would walk the next few hundred years never feeling like herself again until this man, this man who stared at drawings of her in a journal, came into her life. She had been terrified at first because she felt like just another object of desire to someone else. Rex had studied as much of her life as he could, had traced her face against old paper, had sought her out to see the woman in flesh rather than ink. Disappointment and instinct told her to run, but something curious told her to stay and see it through.

Years were spent getting to know one another and trusting each other, something that she hadn't been able to do with anyone in centuries ever since it had been broken by her maker. She realized that Rex wasn't just fascinated by her, but that he truly had grown to care about her and she shared his sentiment. There wasn't anything she wouldn't have done to help him on his hunts or protect him.

But more than that . . . Rex had helped her and he may not have realized it. There had been something missing inside of her since her humanity had been taken away and he helped get it back. He helped her find herself again after it had been snuffed out by a man who only treated her as his possession and nothing more. Until the end of her days, Nadja would never forget the things that Rex did for her, said to her, the way that he made her better and loved her, that caused her this great revelation about herself. And she would spend the rest of their eternity and death thereafter repaying him for that with all the love in the universe that she could conjure.
