SimTalk: WHY WOLFIE??

Wolfie in the Runaway Teen Challenge’s one of my first instances of hooking up an Original Character-type Sim with a Premade Simin a very long time. Usually it gets into the taboo I’ve developed as a fandomer of shipping “OC” and “Canon” ( if you’d truly consider a Premade Sim a “Canon Character.”) I recently decided that Premade Sims are a bit different because they are designed for the players enjoyment. A lot of them are single so you can decide their love life however you please. Heck, if you decide that Mortimer Goth would be better off with your Original Character Sim than Bella you have the right to brea them up ( but why would you they’re the Gomez and Morticia of Sims. )

Second of all, Why Wolfgang? Let me just note I did not plan this. As a matter of fact I had no appreciation for Wolfgang Munch as a Sim at all before this challenge. I definitely discriminate on Sims who are either “Mean” or “Evil.” And he is Mean. Now he’s one of my favorite premades. I’ve spent a lot of playtime playing with Pheobe off-camera. She has a club called the TeenieBoppers which i used to keep her Social Need up ( if she got too lonely she became useless. ) She was closest to Wolfgang and she built up a bond easier with Wolfgang than she did with the other members of her club. 

So I started to ship it despite myself. I quit the save file for a long time; and during that time my opinion on Premade x “OC” Sims changed. 

I put a lot of thought into this.

Everytime I saw Wolfgang in my or another Simmer’s playing I’d think of Pheobe; they slowly became synonymous to each other in my head. Today i decided i had to do it.

It started of with I was just going to make them date; then I added Wolfie to my current household via cheat originally as a temporary thing just to get him to give her a promise ring ( because it wouldn’t make much sense if the poor and virtually homeless Pheobe did ) 

I’d also like to note I used no money cheats when I added Wolfie to my household. Him “Buying” the San Myshuno apartment was completely a story thing.In reality,  That was all Pheobe’s money; I was able to buy the aparment unfurnished and still have a little over 4,000 simoleans left if i bought it unfurnished. I very sparsely decorated itand the rest is history.. Also if you don’t know how Add to Active Family cheat works; it adds no extra to the household funds unlike Ask to Move In. I just found I had more money than i thought I did by selling that giant property with the tiny building and downsizing to a 400 dollar apartment with no furniture. I actually made money an honest way in the process. And the rules to the challenge specifically state you can  move between lots and apartments and you don’t have to stick to the same lot ( Mid-NoWhere in my case. ) that you start the challenge with.

Also, I’ve started sending them both to school; that’s the only rule Ive specifically been ignoring because with the addition of Parenthood you get a lot more negative side effects to skipping school on their Core Values and in my expeirience Poor Performance can cause them to enter moodswings which are giving me headaches. ( These two dont stop with the moodswings. )  I miss Sims 3 runaway teen challenges where I can just delete the school from the neighborhood and not have to think about it again.  Also if I have to get one more call from that dang Principle. I also pretend that the landlord isn’t an adult when I have to call him to fix my apartment issues ( I refuse to repair the electric box when it glitches out; ) but we can just say Wolfie’s lied to him about their age. I try to not rely on the landlord as much as possible. 

I’m really enjoying this dramatic storyline and spin on the challenge I’ve made that Wolfie and her and posing as an adult married couple despite only being teenage Sims who are promised at best. I’ve kept most of the challenge rules and am seeing where this storyline takes me. I hope you guys are enjoying it to.
