Você já se viu no meio de um dilema em que os problemas pareciam vir de todos os lados e todos os seus planos pareciam cair por terra, fazendo com que você se sentisse emocionalmente sobrecarregada? Bem, foi assim que me senti hoje de manhã. Simplesmente não consegui dormir ontem à noite e talvez você imagine o motivo. Em vez de entregar meus problemas para Deus, fiquei me preocupando sozinha. Você já deve saber que se preocupar não resolve nossos problemas, mas a oração sim.

Fico impressionada com a paz e a segurança que sinto em meus momentos de devoção. Nesse dia, senti a presença de Deus e pude ouvi-Lo falando comigo por meio de um artigo que recebi por e-mail: “Não fiquem preocupados com coisa alguma, mas, em tudo, sejam conhecidos diante de Deus os pedidos de vocês, pela oração e pela súplica, com ações de graças. E a paz de Deus, que excede todo entendimento, guardará o coração e a mente de vocês em Cristo Jesus” (Filipenses 4:6, 7).

O verso que li a seguir foi 1 Pedro 5:7: “Lancem sobre Ele todas as suas ansiedades, porque Ele cuida de vocês.” Logo em seguida li: “O Senhor é quem irá à sua frente. Ele estará com você, não o deixará, nem o abandonará. Não tenha medo, nem fique assustado” (Deuteronômio 31:8).

Ah, que paz senti naquele momento! Continuei lendo a Bíblia, que me levou a crer com a confiança de que Deus cuidaria dos meus problemas.

Meu Pai de amor terminou Sua conversa comigo me levando ao meu verso preferido:

“‘Eu é que sei que pensamentos tenho a respeito de vocês’, diz o Senhor. ‘São pensamentos de paz e não de mal, para dar-lhes um futuro e uma esperança’” (Jeremias 29:11). Pensando no que tinha acabado de acontecer, fiquei pasma e clamei: “Senhor, fizeste tudo isso por mim, uma pecadora? Muito obrigada!” Antes do meio-dia, Ele acalmou minha ansiedade e me garantiu que não há nada difícil demais para Ele.

Querida leitora, você está se sentindo sobrecarregada pelas situações que a deixam ansiosa? Eu a convido a parar de se preocupar, entregar a Deus seus problemas e deixar que Ele cuide de você. Ele fez isso por mim e vai fazer o mesmo por você. Por isso: “Não tenham medo; fiquem firmes e vejam o livramento que o Senhor lhes fará no dia de hoje. […] O Senhor lutará por vocês; fiquem calmos” (Êxodo 14:13, 14).
