I wanted to watch a Kamen Rider season where the main Rider was a family man with wife and kid(s).
Ultraman already did it twice. Why not Kamen Rider?

‘‘Yes, we’re certainly flawed. We’re full of defects.
Raiha says you should watch what you eat, but eats snacks by herself.
Pega hides in the shadows when its inconvenient.
Reito hides from work at the Nebula house.
Moa eats my ramen whenever she feels down.
Zena is still scary.
REM is as strict as ever, I’m no good in her eyes.
But everyone believes in me. They believed and cheered me on. We are alive, together!‘‘

We are still at the midway point for Ultraman Geed, but we are now on the clip-show episode! In recent years, series either focus on single episode to compile the first half, rather than being a last minute catch-up. However, if one saw Ultraman X, he or she was met with three to four clip-shows, after every seven episodes. Never the less, they were not the great… Yet, this one here may have ended the curse of the terrible clip-shows!
Summary:
REM explains the Crisis Impact, as Riku and Pega play baseball indoors. REM attempts to stop Riku, but he ignores the claim. This leads to Riku and Pega damaging REM. Meanwhile Moa meets with Reito and Ultraman Zero. Zero explains they found Belial’s hideout, but did not encounter him. Zero tries to convince Moa to get AIB to bring in Geed for further assistance. However, Moa tries to deal with the fact Riku is still Ultraman Geed. Whereas, back at the Nebula House, Laiha insists they should feed the lost data back into REM’s data bank!
#gallery-0-13 { margin: auto; } #gallery-0-13 .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 50%; } #gallery-0-13 img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } #gallery-0-13 .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */
To recover the lost data, Riku begins to narrate the story of their early adventures. Riku obviously starts with who he met REM and became Ultrama Geed. Riku then follows up by explaining Ultraman Geed’s various forms, and abilities. Soon Reito appears, and Zero takes over to explain his backstory since joining Riku. However, Zero’s ego proves to be too much, as Pega stops him from going into his entire past. Laiha then begins to question the anomalies known as the Little Stars, and their connectivity to the Ultra Capsules.
#gallery-0-14 { margin: auto; } #gallery-0-14 .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 50%; } #gallery-0-14 img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } #gallery-0-14 .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */
The discussion about the Little Stars leads our heroes to talk about Kei Fukuide, and his part in Belial’s plan. REM shuts down during their discussion, and Riku believes REM is gone. However, after a “simple reboot,” REM reveals it was just a ploy to teach Riku a lesson. With everything settled with REM, Riku asks Reito why he came by. Reito now in control of his own body, explains he met with AIB and Moa, which interests and enrages Laiha. This leads to Laiha throwing a huge stuffed animal at Riku, but he avoids it only for it to hit REM…

My Thoughts:
This is one of the few clip-show episodes that I have ever seen present itself as something necessary to the overall plot. In addition, the episode does not use all the footage directly for the intended use to repair REM, but to deal with characters’ inner turmoil. For example, the episode does not start off with Riku, Pega, or Laiha feeding REM the story of how they came to meet; the first flashback literally jumps back to past three episodes with Zero searching for Belial, and Moa discovering Riku is Ultraman Geed. However, as time goes on these personal flashbacks become confined to our cast being located within the Nebula House. Having a majority of the cast in the same location is a regular thing for any clip-show, so I cannot entirely fault it. Yet, starting with Moa, and Reito/ Zero meeting up for a debriefing made the episode feel fresh. It changed the normal aesthetic of a clip-show.
Other changes with the format of the clip-show was the presentation, and means for its use. Having an amnesia-like plot is not entirely uncommon, but presenting it as a loss of data for a computer/ A.I. sounds very modern or realistic. Then having the cast recount their history together in a refined order of priority than chronological order seemed poetic. I personally feel that the presentation is an effortless way to obtain new viewers without entirely spoiling the preceding episodes’ individual plots. The most that it spoiled was the more recent episodes pertaining to Ultraman Geed Magnificent (Episodes 11 & 12). Now, the ending being revealed to be a method to teach Riku and Pega “a valuable lesson” was just a little ironic, but comedically appealing; especially since the mistake was loosely repeated due to Laiha’s own temper, rather than Riku’s own hijinks.
Never the less, it is a clip-show episode that will not disappoint viewers, and may bring a new audience. I loved how it managed to focus around the aspects of Ultraman Geed, the Ultra Capsules, and some of the story thus far. It left out some elements to make possible new viewers maybe want to go back, and learn more about what was presented. Furthermore, I am glad the episode explained what power the kid got from the Ultraseven Ultra Capsule/ Little Star, which even I could not originally identify. Yet, I now look forward to the next two episodes as it features the mysterious new kaiju, Zegan the Interdimensional Destruction God. In addition, the episodes guest star, Hiroki Suzuki (Geki Red), as Alien Shadow Kuroto. These two elements will surely intensify the final half of Ultraman Geed… Also, do not forget Mayu is Ultraman Zero’s daughter; she is not Reito’s daughter…
Rating: 4 out of 5

May I know what characters have been sent in so far, so I won't accidentally send in something twice?
Oh, sure! Although with the kind of variety I'm getting both musically/poetically and character-wise, I don't think a repeated character would hurt anything. ^_^ Prompts I've received so far:
Gamu & Fujimiya
Takumi & Kiba
Kujou Kiriya & Igaguri Reito
Decade OT4
Jinga & Ryuuga
Ankh
Sakurai Yuuto & Ikenami Ryunosuke
Kozuki Takane & Mikage Jinga
Tendou Souji & Tsugami Shouichi
Kagami Arata & Hikawa Makoto
Gokaiger OT6 (with, and I quote, "the cheesiest possible romance song I can think of for them," and I am already considering possibilities and it's gonna be gooey)
Nakadai Mikoto & TopGaler

not sure how to word this question but i'll try. how much does an ultra generally communicate their with chosen host?
I think it really all depends on the Ultra in question as well as some other factors. Let’s look at the very first Ultraman and his relationship with Shin Hayata. As far as I can recall, I only remember Ultraman ‘speaking to Hayata once and that was after he accidentally killed him and was preparing to fuse their essences to save the human.
Judging by the original ending to the series, where Ultraman leaves and Hayata has no memory of his time with the giant hero, it was Ultraman in charge of their fusion the entire time just borrowing Hayata’s memories to pass as him.
Maybe Hayata’s death took a long time to repair for the Ultra and Hayata remained basically in a coma and animated by the alien the entire time. Or maybe Ultraman had never tried anything like this before and had gotten the balance between himself and Hayata wrong. It’s never really stated in the program itself. I will say that Ultraman must have taken a real liking to Hayata because when he takes human form in later series entries, it is always in the form of the SSSP Officer.
Let’s jump way ahead now to the current series, Ultraman Geed, and the relationship between Ultraman Zero and his human host, Reito Igaguri.
Zero merges with Reito to save his life much like the original Ultraman did with Hayata but it is clear that Reito is still in command most of the time. It’s also clear that the two are in constant mental communication and frequently disagree with the proper course of action. As well as arguing occasionally it is shown that Zero has some control over Reito’s actions when Reito is not transformed and the two have been seen struggling when Zero wants to transform but Reito wants to do work for his job.
In fact, you can see a clear shift of who is in control because when Zero takes full control of Reito’s body, he removes Reito’s glasses and speaks in his own voice. Apparently, this can be thwarted by just putting Reito’s glasses back on as was seen in the most recent (19 as of this writing) episode where Kei’s new human ally keeps Zero from getting involved in her partner’s latest plot.
So, you can see the level of control and communication between Ultrahero and their human host varies. We’ve even seen (in the Ultraman Saga movie) that a truly reluctant or resentful human host can have a negative impact on the hero’s ability to properly transform as when Zero was merged with Super GUTS rookie Taiga. Taiga didn’t want any part of being fused with an Ultra and thus when Zero initially forced him to transform, Zero emerged greatly reduced in height and power!
Once they came to an understanding, that problem was solved but it does show that in some cases, when the merging is unwilling or less than an equal partnership, the results can be less than optimal.

having pondered it, i’ve decided that it’s entirely possible that high&low and ultraman geed take place in the same universe, one where mild-mannered dad igaguri reito used to be a punk-ass delinquent but has since reformed and attempted to erase all evidence of his sordid past. he’s even done his best to train the “fight” out of himself, becoming more clumsy & meek through willpower alone, however by the ease in which zero uses his body (if he was just a regular salaryman would he really have the physical ability to pull off some of those moves? questionable) to take down assailants we can see that the potential is still there beneath the surface. thank you for reading my thesis

Ultraman Geed thoughts 3
We open on Ultraman Zero travelling between universes. Considering on Geed earth it's presumably been either 6, 17 or even longer years since the Crisis Impact, I nonetheless suspect that for Zero significantly less time has passed. The Ultimate Aegis vanishes, clearly damaged, when Zero arrives in Geed Earth, and the Ultimate Brace is clearly damaged. It seems like Zero expected this. Speaking of, another battle is going on. We see a man trip as the citizens flee, and a kid look back. The battle is between Geed and Darkclops Zero, who we haven't seen since Belial's Galactic Empire. Apparently the while robot thing makes it hard for Geed to damage Darkclops. Zero lands, and suspects from Darkclops' presence that Belial is alive. The two Wide Zero Shot eachother, with Zero seemingly winning as Darkclops flees. Zero asks Geed if he's alright, and briefly thinks he's Belial on seeing his eyes, but realises he can't be. Geed vanishes due to hitting his limit as Zero calls to him. As Pega and Raiha pick Riku up, Zero is surprised to see that he's a kid. A building starts to fall at the kid, and the salary range sees this, and tries to save him, but slips and is hit by a van. At Nebula House, REM explains that Zero is Belial's greatest enemy, and that Darkclops Zero is a robot based in him. Because of his own relationship to Belial, they suspect Zero will not trust him. Riku decides to sleep. At the hospital, a pair of nurses are discussing how the salaryman has no hope of recovery. Zero appears, recognising his heroic spirit for trying to save the boy, and possesses him in the manner of Jack possessing Go Hideki. The salaryman wakes up, confused, and flees the hospital. Finding a strange glasses like object he mercifully doesn't throw it away, but does run due to being late. Zero speaks directly to the salaryman, after he misses his meeting. Igaguri Reito, first freaks out about the voice he's hearing, then wonders why he's the one being possessed. When some punks hassle him Zero takes direct control to kick their collective asses, but Reito freaks out more when he resumes control. At Nebula House Raiha does some training. Meanwhile Riku us apparently trying to figure out how to show Ultraman Zero he isn't an enemy. Pega finds footage of the boy from earlier being saved by an energy shield, so they decide he's another Little Star. As the news is either declaring Geed is or isn't an enemy, Reito arrives home to his wife, Lumina. He seems to have partially adjusted to his new situation, explaining by sort of pretending to be on the phone to Zero that Lumina is his wife and that Mayu, asleep in another room, is his daughter. Zero takes control to save a dish from being smashed. When the news is mentioning Zero, he for some reason possesses Reito again to use his Zero Slugger skills with a pen to turn off the TV at a distance. Mayu, awake thanks to the dish incident, says hello to her father. While meeting with someone at a café (a publisher maybe), Fukuide Kei uses his evil vision to see from miles away the aura of a Little Star. The boy has been able to use it to smash rocks now. Riku and Raiha approach him, and e tries to run. Riku plans to use Don Shine to approach him. Zero explains to Reito that this world was destroyed, and we learn now that as that happened, Ultraman King, one of the most powerful beings in the Multiverse, flew into the centre of the destruction and reformed earth around himself, resulting in Geed Earth. The image of Belial is from that moment. Zero has apparently been searching for the Ultra Capsules since. Fukuide, nearby, possibly detecting who Reito is, pulls out the Darkclops Zero capsule, and uses his Riser to summon the robot again, facing where Riku, Raiha and the boy are. The boy decides to try to fight, forcing Raiha to run after him, while Riku transforms into Geed. The boy refuses to stop as Geed starts fighting, and Fukuide turns out to have two more Darkclops Zero capsules, and uses them to increase the threat. The boy calls out in support of Geed, and the Little Star leaves him and activates the Ultraseven Capsule. Using the Ultraseven Capsule with the Ultraman Leo capsule, Riku becomes Ultraman Geed Solid Burning. I figure I should talk a little about the difference and similarity with Orb. Orb's forms, at least him initial three forms, combined traits of Ultras who had similar abilities, and his physical form always had some traits of his true form as well. Geed, in his initial 3 forms, instead combines traits of Ultras with the same body colour (aside from the fact Belial is black in his Reiyonix form, his original form was silver) The only real evidence of Geed is that the eyes are the same each time. Observing Geed's change, Zero notes that the present form embodies his father and his master, and realises Geed is using the Ultra Capsules. Using the Solar Boost attack from his chest, he overcomes one Darkclops' Dimension Storm, destroying it. Using the Geed Slugger he overpowers a Darkclops using it's Zero Sluggers, and destroys it using the Boost Slugger Kick. He defeats the last using the Strike Boost. Later, Riku buys a Don Shine capsule toy, and runs into the kid briefly by chance. Raiha tidies up Riku's stuff a little. Reito sees the punks again, who run away. He picks up some rubbish they dropped.

Ultraman Geed Episodes 1-3 Recap and Episode 4 Review
Hey guys welcome to my first Toku written review, I am a little new at this so let’s just get this thing started. Before I continue be warned SPOILERS will be in the review.
So to begin with I will do a small recap of the first three episode of our newest Ultraman incarnation Ultraman Geed. Our main hero for the show is Riku Asakura. Riku is a kid with a mysterious background who works at a convenience store and rooms with his alien friend Pega. In episode 1 a monster attacks and destroys there home. With nowhere to go Riku and Pega find themselves sitting outside an old observatory that has a secret base 500 meters below earth. Riku and Pega meet REM the secret bases AI. While there REM test Riku’s DNA and Riku finds out that he is an Ultraman who has taken on a human form. When the monster attacks again Riku uses his Fusion Riser to transform into the new hero of light Ultraman Geed. At the end of episode 1 it REM tells Riku that his father is none other than Ultraman Belial. By episode 2 we meet Raiha Toba who decides to aid Riku in his fight to protect the people of Earth. We also learn that certain people are starting to obtain Little Stars that grant them weird powers. However, these little stars also attract monsters to them. We do learn that if they wish for an Ultraman to help them in some way the star will go to that Ultraman leaving the host body. By episode 3 we get reintroduced to Ultraman Zero who is Belial main adversary. When Zero returns he is too weak to be in his normal body, so he takes office worker Reito Igaguri as his host after seeing him risk his life to save a kid.
In Episode 4 we are introduced to Moa Aizaki and her Senior Zena. They are agents who work for the organization AIB (Aliens Investigation Bureau). They capture and alien who has been harvesting a plant that can release a very heavy sedative that can put people to sleep. As Moa is reading the facts of the plant she accidently touches the plant and releases the sedatives that put her to sleep. Moa seems to be the type of character who can be good at her job but is a bit ditzy when it comes to doing stuff. As it turns out we find out that she was Riku’s childhood friend whose family took Riku in. So they see each other as brother and sister. However, it is clear to the audience that Moa has some hidden romantic feelings towards Riku. This is something I haven’t really seen in a Toku. I mostly see this kind of theme in anime’s. Zena character seems like the hard nose senior agent. He gets to the point and is very uptight and not to mention who is also an alien that speaks from what I can tell telepathically.
As the episode goes on we get to the main plot of the episode. Where the AIB is after an alien and they run into Riku because the alien steals his bike. It turns out that this alien has little star inside her, which in turn summons Eleking. We find out that the Alien was part of an invasion plan but abandoned that because she fell in love with the planet. As the show goes Riku transforms into Geed and fights Eleking. As things start to look bad for Geed, Moa decides to use the plant she was supposed to put in evidence at the AIB against Eleking. This allows Riku to transform into Ultraman Geed Solid Burning form. As the alien watches on she wish for Geed to end Elekings suffering. Which in turn releases the little star from her and placed in Geed. As with most shows he defeats the monster. By the end Ultraman Zero introduces himself to Riku and tells him he will be watching him.
Episode 4 for the most part was decent. It didn’t advance the plot but we did get introduced to the main organization for the show. We got to meet new characters and got to see what kind of impact they will have on the series. What I am most interested in is if Moa will find out that Riku is Ultraman Geed. Because it does seem like the AIB is keeping an eye on him. Also what is Kei Fukuide agenda and why is he after the little stars. So far if you are interested in watching Ultraman, Geed is a good place to start. My final thought is that it was good episode that introduced us to the rest of the main cast and how this will affect the series going forward. I give this episode a solid B+. You can catch these episodes every Friday on Crunchyroll. So please support official sub releases. Until next week guys stay Ultra.
