requests & submissions go into my ask box. i’m currently undecided on whether i will use child & ambiguous/“debatable” characters (while changing the original kmk prompt) but i’m erring on the side of ‘no thanks’. i’m perfectly willing to have a discussion about this as i am still unsure.

i allow characters from all games, including the pw spin-off, but if their picture/information is not readily available on the wiki or similar i expect at least a screenshot of them of some sort — and proof of their age, if needed. ocs are allowed, and the same rules apply to them (“provide an image” and “adult only for now”. picrews, other people’s art and commisions are allowed as images as long as you credit the original artist, and as long as the original artist has said you can use their image. i will catch you up on this.)

also, to stop this blog from running out of content: characters can be resubmitted. generally i will cherrypick as to whom i choose to reappear, but as a general rule of thumb, leave it at least two months before resubmitting, and five before bullying me about it! (bullying here of course being lighthearted, please.)

Hi, it's me again, I was wondering if it is okay if I can ask a question? I know you rp a lot and Cat is amazing by the way! I was wondering how you started rp and creating a character, I have made character's before in the past but never rp much, I wanted to find a safe space to try and rp again, (As I have had bad experiences in the past) and was wondering if you have any tips on what I should do?

hello !!! i do know there are resource blogs out there that could also be of use for giving you some advice... but i can't name them off the top of my head so if any lovely mutuals who reads this know of any, please comment on this post !!! but for getting started on tumblr, i would recommend giving the character their own blog. it could be a sideblog if needed, but high-key recommend a separate one because a lot of rp blogs tend to block personals unless they know you have a roleplay sideblog. a rules page to just go over what helps make your experience comfy. this don't have to be long and can be updated as you learn the ropes and figure out your expectations, but giving a smidge of info on yourself ( a nickname and general age ) is smart to have and just general info! and then an about page for your muse! stats are important - age and name and the little deets. when it comes to appearance, personality, and backstory ( lore/powers/species info if character isn't human ), these don't need to be SUPER in depth if you don't have it all fleshed out and ready. some bullet points to really help give an idea of your character is still very important, though, because people need an idea of what your character is like in order to approach them in threads :D honestly those are the main things for getting the blog set up i think! it can be on basic tumblr pages and you can have a basic theme ( recommend still finding a not-tumblr-made theme, there's theme-hunter as one place to look for things! )... whatever is most organized and easy enough to read! if you want to make/use fancier pages and stuff, that's up to you! i use a special page for cat's verses because there's so many, it helps me organize everything lol. graphics and icons aren't necessary. they're nice for the tumblr environment because that's just how most people rp here, but not critical. i'd recommend at least icons if you can get a fc, you can find icons around tumblr as there's a number of rp resource blogs! icons are honestly just fun imo! they make the character feel more special in a way. then just get some things on your blog... aesthetic posts, fc images, tag drops ( tags are very very nifty for rp blogs when it comes to verses and organizing posts like aesthetic, musings, headcanon tags ). uhm... maybe an open or two just to give an example of your writing, and then you gotta be bold and follow people and start reaching out! starting a blog fresh can be hard and a lot of work, but if you love roleplaying, it's a lot of fun once you get in the zone! hopefully this advice is like. somewhat useful. and if any of my lovely friends have any other tips, i hope they leave some things here for you!! good luck, happy to try and answer any more questions if i can !!!

RP Basics

1. I am open for canon, canon-divergent and AU RPs with canon characters or OCs! 

2. I am 33 and I require RP partners to be over the age of 18. Age MUST be in bio.  

3.  Open to RPs of all ratings and ships as determined by plot and chemistry.

4. Any adult writings will be tagged as such and beneath a page break.

5. I’m very adaptable with my roleplay replies! If you want multi-paragraph RP with all the trimmings I can do that! If you prefer shorter form, I can do that too. All I really need is for replies to at least be a couple of sentences and i am happy to adapt within that scope. 

6. I typically write third person, past tense, but I am willing to adjust if a partner prefers something different.

7.  If we are writing with longer replies, I am okay with minor things being written for my character if it fits!  Such as being led somewhere, the continuation of some action from the previous reply, and so on. If something goes too far I’ll be sure to let you know - I’m quite easygoing but I don’t want to be god-modded either.

8.  I  can be a little shy/awkward but I can promise I’ll always be kind!

9. I like to talk plot in ooc. Check in with how people are feeling about things, talk about replies or upcoming plot points to be on the same page, clarify things, etc.  I encourage my RP partners to do the same - I am very happy to hash things out, plot together or make corrections and clarifications if need be. 

10. I do have some triggers and limits when it comes to RP but I would rather discuss those privately as opposed to posting them up out here. I have very few hard limits overall though.

I am comfortable with most adult and difficult topics. I LOVE writing combat, and I really should do more whump. Most kinks are alright. Will mess with incest and certain flavors of dubcon/noncon.  Won’t write: Underage NSFW, Kinks involving scat or vomit or other very dirty sorts of kinks.  Might write: Darker noncon scenes (in fics, I can’t handle it in a RP) , kinks/characters I am not familiar with, really if anything isn’t on one of these lists just ask. I can write about a character throwing up or being sick but would prefer not to go into great detail as it can be a trigger for me.

First of all thank you so so much for following me and giving my Nephilim OC a chance 🙏 You’ve all been so kind and I’m excited to continue interacting and rping with you! I’m always open to plotting and my ask box is open for any interactions, may it be a meme, random IC, or even crack & shenanigans.

I’m reaching out more directly to mutuals and popping in inbox’s & commenting on dash posts (when acceptable of course). I am not mutually exclusive, I enjoy giving others the chance to interact with me without the pressure of having to be mutuals.

With that said, I know many blogs are mutual exclusive. And they are absolutely entitled to that standard; it’s their blog and their comfort. I’ve decided if I’ve seen activity on blogs that are mutual exclusive but haven’t followed me back on here or my main blog @soulsmuses , I will unfollow after a week. Should they follow me at all later date, I will gladly refollow.

I am trying to keep track of who I’m following and which blogs require us to be mutuals. Having autism and ADHD can be difficult to remember this off hand, so I have notes for myself to keep tabs. I’m also using this method to know who I’ve responded to and when I owe responses.

Soft blocking me is okay! If you’ve lost interest in interacting with me or don’t think our muses/writing would mesh well after reading her bio, I won’t be upset. That’s the name of the game in rp, especially fandoms.

Being hard blocked is disappointing, but it is what it is. It does leave me wondering if people assume my main is a random personal and don’t check to see it says both in the description & my pinned post that it’s my main hub with a link to this rp sideblog. I always read people’s rules first to ensure having an OC interaction is fine, so I doubt that’s the reason to auto block on sight. It’s happened a couple times now so I truly can’t tell why I’m being hard blocked rather than soft blocked.

This is not to spur drama. In fact after recent posts on my dashboard in regard to anons trying to stir trouble to others, and some drama that was recently occurred in a discord server I mod, I am adding a “no drama” rule. I don’t want to be part of any drama. I’ve seen plenty over the past 10+ yrs on tumblr in every fandom I’ve been apart of. This is a drama free blog. Please do not come into my inbox or IM’s with beef and drama regarding other rpers. My rp blog is not going to do callouts or participate in drama.

If possible Please trim your post. I won’t get up on anyone's case about it if you don’t, but it’s considerute to do so. Keeps the dash clean. Also transfer ask to a new thread if you wish to contiune it. Same reasons as above: Keeps things clean and orgainzed. Don’t worry about formatting/using icons in your post! Just because I like to time to time doesn’t mean you have to follow suit. Write in whatever style that works for you. Who I’ll Interact With

Well, obviously I will roleplay with other Transformers characters, (Not limited to just Prime). I’ll roleplay with just about almost all fandoms. I am a bit more selective over fandoms I'm not too familiar with but that doesn't always mean my doors aren't closed to them neither. To put it simple: If a muse interests me, I'm more than likely on board. What is always the case however is that I will not, and I do mean WILL NOT roleplay with muses base off Youtube Let’s Players or any real life people WHAT SO EVER!! Sorry, I’m sure a good share of you are fantastic people, but it’s something I am simply against mortality. I’m open to roleplaying with OCs both fandom base and/or fandomless, but again, I’m still selective. I always check out the mun’s page before following and if I don’t see a bio for your OC, I will simply not follow. I can't interact with a character I know nothing about. Really, a good indication that I want to interact with you is if I follow you, either before or after you do.

This is a sideblog page to @minxchester, which is my main blog and where I roleplay primarily as Dean Winchester, from CW’s Supernatural. Voicesofthemuses, meanwhile, is the catch-all for a wide range of characters who I am more than happy to write!

I'm sorry if this is long but it's necessary so that you can jump straight into writing with me even if Emma is nearly an oc or a stranger to your muses - and because I'm not English and want to be sure it's all clear. I've been writing for eight years and I'm known to be chill and accommodating but I am also extremely aware of what my preferences and comfort zones are so please read the rules.

My name is Ele, I'm 31, cis woman, super friendly, slow because chronically ill especially when it comes to ooc chat which require too much energy and focus from me, so while I love plotting and commenting threads don't expect ooc chats to be a priority if they aren't fully about the threads. This is an AU Blog so you don't really need to have seen OUAT because this is NOT canon Emma Swan, there is no Storybrooke, and the princess Emma who remembers what was meant to happen in OUAT will let you know everything that you missed; so you'll need to read Emma's bio, either her AU enchanted forest backstory OR the backstory from our world which can fit Marvel, DC and other shows, depending on which character you play (it's awkward to realize the other person has no idea of what I'm writing, like I said, this won't be Emma Swan even in our world, she's been raised by her parents).

There is another backstory for non Enchanted Forest crossovers that doesn't have an abusive ex in it, check it out if the original one is triggering for you. You can request it, no explanation needed.

WHO I RP WITH

I’m mutuals only and selective. If I don't follow you and you try to rp I'll ignore you, because I get anxious about saying no. If curious you can find reasons why I didn't follow you back here. Memes and opens have no expiration date. Untagged nsfw = I unfollow. Some shows I prefer not to interact with because I don't know them or aren't into some of their themes: vampire diaries, teen wolf, riverdale, gossip girls and any zombie/demons show outside of IZombie, Lucifer and Buffy/Angel.

Between asterisks it's what only people who write ouat characters need to read, the rest is for everyone:

**If your character is involved in her backstory, you have every right to discuss details with me so you won't feel godmodded/forced to adapt to it! I will also change things connected to your ch, for example if I write with a Jefferson, Emma's bff will be Ariel and not Grace. I'd rather not interact with ocs that are supposed to be her siblings or children etc. Henry was never born so if you play Henry we should plot it out because my Emma can’t be pregnant as a kid or she will be a completely different character.**

In this blog due to backstory issues she would want Regina dead so I prefer NOT to interact nor come up with new aus in which she’s fine with it (I have 2 plotted exceptions and that’s enough for me), and same goes for people who are currently villains from any fandom, though in that case we can plot out exceptions in which they aren’t being villains; if they are a grey-area, aren't people who hurt her family, and if you are pro-redemption it's fine, if not Emma wouldn't submit to anyone or bother to chat, she will try to kill them or die, so no threads are really doable. She's also not the type to hang out/bother with characters who are rude to her or to insist if they want her to leave, or to support who keeps manipulating her, hurting people or doesn't seem to be helped by her presence at all but keeps coming to her with pain to share (the latter would get a therapist card). Basically: Killian Jones the way he was written in the show, or even a Rumplestiltskin who found Belle and chose to do better and so on are fine. Villains who will mistreat Emma, have hurt her family, or are currently hunting children for sport? Not good for Emma.

TRIGGERS AND WHAT I WON’T WRITE

Triggers will be tagged ‘name of the trigger tw’, you can always ask me to tag more AND tell me if something in her backstory makes you uncomfortable, so that I can find a solution (that issue is resolved/doesn't need to be mentioned) or tell you if it can't be skipped and you can choose not to write with me. I don’t write about miscarriage, toxic/abusive relationships and rape between my character and yours (temporarily evil due to magic/Dark One Emma being manipulative is fine, but rape is still a no). It’s not exactly a trigger but please tag your gore and body horror? The topic of hell is also complicate, I need you not to focus too much on torture and eternal damnation. And please, PLEASE, tag your daddy kink/mommy kink references ic and ooc.

ACTIVITY

This blog is, to a degree canon divergent where Prime's sequel; Robots in Disguise [RiD2015] is not canon to this blog. I will take some elements from the show in regard to Soundwave's portayal but anything post-Predacons Rising (which will also have some divergent elements of events changed) didn't happen. I also don't know EVERYTHING within the Aligned continuity (which Prime is a part of). I haven't played the War for Cybertron games or read any of the novels/comics (though I do know a bit about the events in Exodus. Just a tee bit) While this blog is mostly Prime/Aligned, I may add/take some elements from a few other continuies such as G1, IDW and Animated. This all being said:I do try to stay as close to canon as I can. I'll alter little things but overall I do try to say true to what I'm given to the lore.
