SHE KEEPS EVERY EMOTION UNDER A closed lid, it's what she's always been taught to do. yet, when it comes to him, it's hard to keep herself from spilling over — especially when it's been so long. still, the setting is far more depressing than she wishes she could offer, but safety always has to come first where they're concerned. the abandoned warehouse is spacious, cold, and her footsteps echo in the empty room. « riku ? » saerin whispers into the darkness, pulls her cap further down to attempt to conceal the black eye she's currently sporting. she'd give anything to have him back with her, back to the only place she's ever known as home, but she owes him his freedom. still, even after all this time it's hard to adjust to being without him. saerin and riku. riku and saerin. that's the only thing she knows to be real. « i'm alone. no one tailed me, » she promises cautiously.

its home is but a hovel in the mire of the reservoir, cavernous and echoing with the howls of its experiments and the mournful cries of itself. the wails of whales are not unlike its own. the sludge of its enzymes covers the walls in a thick and pulsating goo, some dripping from the ceilings into slimy stalactites. one would have to hold some sort of death wish to come here voluntarily. a screw loose. mad as a hatter. nutty as a fruitcake. it likes fruitcake. but the thought of guests nonetheless titillates moreau, so when the woman presents herself unannounced and thoroughly out of place in such a pitiful residence, it works double time to ensure her needs are met. not quite swanning around the tunnels but rather trudging at a hurried pace, the sounds of its feet like wet jelly slapping upon the rocky floor. ❛ c-can i interest you in tea ? ❜ it waves an amphibian paw over a steaming vessel, more vat than teapot, the brew inside pungent and bubbling. those weak of stomach, do not look too closely. perhaps recognising its beverage's inadequacy before it can be pointed out, beady eyes search frantically for a more suitable alternative. spotting its bedside television remnants of cheese, it deviates.

hands is at least a lil funny to me in the way of like. guy both loves & doesnt care to play with his food, so to speak. like you wont catch him choosing to keep any person for any prolonged period of time - that loses his attention and his entertainment very fast. you wont see him holding a person for longer than maybe two days if that.

what he enjoys, though, is the thrill that comes with batting around victim but in the sense of the poor things already partly mutilated still clinging onto some thread of life still trying to fight back desperately but can barely stand or aim a swing on him or can barely form a string of words with any coherency.

what im saying is his enjoyment comes from prolonging the intense pain theyre in bc of him and teetering his victims on the precipice of death before he grows bored when they slow down too much and then he caves their faces in.
