I have a lot of lovely asks and messages from people that I'm not able to respond to yet, but I just want to genuinely thank all of you for it ❤️ I was worried I was letting people down, but I'm so very thankful for everyone that reassured me otherwise. I will respond to you all. I'm not ignoring any of you, I promise.
Now onto something more serious. This is tagged as qsmp neg because I'm about to get really really angry with a certain part of this fandom.
Since Maxo unofficially confirmed qsmp is ending after the event, I've seen so many posts and reblogs along the lines of "the people upset because they had hope are in denial/ delusional/ crazy" or "the people thinking qsmp wasnt dead brought this upon themselves" which, basically, people are making fun of those who've had hope that the server will server. Now, don't get me wrong, we aren't exactly logical by having hope, and you're nit in the wrong for having a joke about people being "in denial" about the server closing.
That being said, the people blogging this only started doing it when Maxo unofficially confirmed its closure. So, technically there was still a small part of you that had hope, too, huh?
Not to mention, we are not in thr wrong for having hope or wanting to hold onto something that brought us so much joy, love, passion and creativity this past year. Leave us be. Let us be "in denial" or "delusional" or whatever you want to call us. It's fun over here. It's bright and positive and we all share the best memories of the past year. We don't WANT to look on the downside because it doesn't help us. It doesn't make sense to be consumed by all this negativity. It's very damaging to people's mental health if all they're seeing is "qsmp is dead" "quackity is cancelled" "all CCs hate qsmp" and other untrue statements.
As long as the fandom lives, qsmp lives. So why are you mocking us for seeing the qsmp in a positive and fun way? We're celebrating its life, not its death. This is a celebration, not a funeral.
I have had so many people message me, send asks, and tag me in posts to thank me for being positive about this situation even in the worst of times. And it's not that I'm saying "the admins are being mistreated? Oh well!" Because I'm not. What I'm doing and what I've done the past 3 or so months is remind people to take a breather, remind people to care for themselves and offer a place for them to vent to. I've shared my favourite moments of qsmp as a way to relive the best times whilst we go through the worst.
Can you not see that? Do you really think it's worth mocking me and others for?
If you genuinely believe I'm crazy or other insults because I see qsmp as a good thing, despite its faults, then please, unfollow me. Block me. Block the 'qsmp positivity' tag.
I will continue to spread hope about qsmp because I need it as much as others do. I owe myself to stay level headed and clear on qsmp because its done so much for me this past year. And so so many others see it the same way. I'm very grateful to be a place of positivity and safety during these trying times. I'm so thankful to everyone who has messaged me, sent me asks, followed me or even became my mutual because of this server.
I am so sorry for anyone that has been incredibly negative and doomposting excessively these past few months. It's very sad you felt the need to bring others down because you were sad too. But the there's a difference between being negative and actively ridiculing others for not being negative. And for those that have been doing the latter, stop. Stop trying to make us feel small for having hope for a server that has been our home for over a year.
If anyone feels like I'm being harsh, it's because I am.

Boundaries of this page
Have patience with me. I'm learning how to set boundaries in my life and on socials, too.
(I could update this in the future with new info)
ABOUT THE AUTHOR (ME)
Be kind when interacting with me. Hold me gentle like hamburger. I'm an anxious dragonet.
I also do not like to interact much, especially in *fandoms*. I will often turn off the Comment Section. Nothing personal, it's for my mental health.
I could open Asks from time to time.
I also do disappear from time to time, sometimes for entire months or even more. I need long breaks from social to recharge.
***
CONTENT
The blog is growing a bit so I want to make it clear to everyone:
First of all, this blog is SELF-INDULGENT and I'm going to post whatever I want to share, usually depending on my current hyperfix.
I mostly post about franchises I love. Most of these live rent free in my heart since I was a kid. For this reason, you will probably find VERY SELF-INDULGENT / PERSONAL INTERPRETATION of them. I never liked *fandoms* as social spaces, I do not care much about the canon in my stories and such; most of my stuff will be very big AUs.
I could or could not post Original Stuff in the future, too.
***
RATING - sort of
I mainly post stuff for everyone...
Tumblr policy says you must be 13 years old to join (or 16+ in Europe), so I can assure you my stuff is generally for everyone, or 13+ at the very least.
...BUT! Sometimes I could post 16+ stuff, with proper tags and advertisements.
These posts will be properly tagged (16+ / 16+ humor / mature humor / alcohol / drugs / mature joke / sexual joke / implication of sex / violence / graphic violence (and so on). Most of 16+ themes or jokes will be there for humoristic purposes only, BUT for your own safety, I always suggest blocking tags that could lead to a trigger!
If the post themes are heavier, I will also advertise on advance! (to avoid people stumbling into it by accident; if you open a post with a *big* advertisement, it's your responsibility at that point).
I'm NOT going to post anything 18+/NSFW in this blog, so, do not worry about that!
***
SAFETY OF THE BLOG
IMPORTANT: Everyone needs to have their safe space, and YOU must have your safe space as it's important for ME to have my safe space!
I mostly mind my own business on Tumblr. Please do not try to contact me when Asks or Comments are closed, unless it's something very urgent (as: if you saw someone stealing my art and claiming they drew it, or if you want to show me a fanart :3).
Feel free to unfollow me or block me if you don't like my stuff for any reason, and go on with your life. This is an advice I would like to give to anyone on Tumblr/socials! Again, safe spaces are important for everyone.
***
WHAT YOU CAN AND CAN'T DO WITH MY STUFF
You can like and reblog! If the Comment Section is open for followers, you can leave a kind compliment! Reblogs with happy tags are always welcomed and deeply cherished.
Do NOT RE-POST inside Tumblr. I would discourage you from reposting OUTSIDE Tumblr, too. But if you do, provide credit to my page on Tumblr (I only have a Tumblr page rn). Please ask first.
DO NOT FEED MY ART & STUFF TO AI. I will bite your head off and then breath fire on your corpse :3
Do not COPY my personal designs/reinterpretations of canon characters, AND MOST OF ALL DO NOT COPY MY OCs. I'm very very jealous of them. Especially, I DO NOT WANT to find my exact design of characters used for NSFW or to make money.
You can always take inspiration from my art tho! Copying and taking inspiration are two different things. If something you draw or write is heavily inspired by something I posted here, just provide a link to my blog/post or tag me and I'll be happy!
Fanart of my AUs and such are welcomed! Please show them to me tagging me if you want, so I can see them and maybe reblog them too ^^
Ask me first for Comic Dubs & similar edits to my stuff! Thank you!
(adding more pages or editing at any time if needed)

For the choose violence ask game: 3,4, and 7 for The Sandman
Thanks nonny! I see how hard people lit up for the Choose Violence ask game and I'm like...you know what I gotta give the people the salt we've all clearly been craving 🤣
3 and 4 (worst take you've ever seen on tumblr/what was the last strae that made you block someone) I'm combining into one cause I fortunately haven't dealt with anyone actually harassing me on here, over fandom drama specifically anyway (yet). OKAY so you all are going to hear about the cold take I saw that lives in my brain rent free that made me unfollow and block a mutual in a fit of rage and bafflement.
Picture being me, a month or two ago. I'd recently followed someone on the spot cause they'd had such a good meta about queer!Rose headcanons. They followed me back. Cool. Everything's Gucci. And then I realize how much of their blog is Dreamling. Okay, I can tag filter or unfollow if it bothers me.
And then I saw them dead ass go into the part of the comics where Ishtar is talking to Dream in Brief Lives, and she says "You really don't like women, do you?"
(Which, ouch, but given his previous behavior, not at all an unfair comment.)
And this person's takeaway was, I shitteth you not, a rambling diatribe about how maybe the reason all Dream's relationships keep failing meanwhile he's friends with Hob Gadling, is that maybe...he's not that Into Women!!
Yeah. Seriously. Definitely not the emotional problems, lack of consistent communication and ability to maintain a relationship long term for various reasons, Definitely not the pride and anger problem that got him to send Nada to hell, which literally the entire arc of Season of Mists involved him trying to fix, no, all this can be waved away with what might as well have been a longer-winded version of that corny ass 2000s era meme "Sometimes a man...hurts a woman...because his soulmate is a man!!" And before you ask - no, this person didn't appear to be joking. I seriously wanted to believe it was satire but NOPE. So now you all have to suffer the knowledge that some people (because it was being just reblogged uncritically to praise) seriously think like this. I swear I lost braincells that day.
7. What character did you begin to hate not because of canon but the way the fandom acts about them? Well...oh you know. Hobert Gadling. Easy.
Look, I was never His Biggest Fan for. Obvious reasons stated below, but he's interesting when you look at him as a direct parallel and contrast to Dream - both of these men/man-shaped beings are immortal and have done absolutely horrendous, unforgivable things to others in their long lives, between Dream's sending a woman he supposedly loved to Hell for breaking it off with him, and Hob's participation in the slave trade. And now, the question is...what do they do with this? How do you live with yourselves, having done things you can never make up for? DO you choose to go on living? Then again the critical difference between them among others - Hob has the ability to choose to maintain his immortality, or not. Dream doesn't - or doesn't feel he can safely choose to abandon the role he was born into.
But the sheer SCALE to which the fandom has constantly, utterly erased the worst of this man's atrocities, like flat out refuses to acknowledge they even exist in both show and comics (it would be one thing entirely if they cut that bit out of the show I'd understand people going feral over show Hob then, but. They did not so where's people's excuse) so they can push him and Morpheus into the mold of their ship is...honestly kind of amazing (derogatory) and has driven me to wanting to grind my teeth every time I saw the ship and eventually, him, until I recently finally wised up and filtered tags. And what also irks me - that they've taken OVER the fandom to the point where it's getting genuinely hard to impossible to go into the tags of any other characters including Rose and Lucienne especially without MOST OF IT being about them being sidelined as cheerleaders in some way for this ship. And if you tag filter and block then that just means their tags are suddenly vastly diminished or full of "this post has filtered tags" "this post has filtered tags" "this post-" ughhhhhh.

BASICS !
Name / Alias: Jasmine
Pronouns: she/her
Blog type: single muse | Multi-muse | non selective | semi selective | selective | mutuals only | private | other (specify)
Type of muses: canon | OCs | both | other (specify)
GENERALITIES !
Triggers people MUST tag: None.
Interest tracker / checker: I have it and it's mandatory | I have it, it's not mandatory but I'm more likely to follow back / interact with the people who fill it | I have one and I prefer it if people fill it in | I have it but it's to people whether to fill it or not | I don't have one | other: I don't have one but probably should have because the Véghváryverse has gotten out of hand
Reblog karma: I practise it | I practise it sometimes | I don't practise it | I always reblog memes from the source | indifferent | other: the fuck is that
Rule passwords: I have one and it's mandatory | I have one and it's optional | I don't have one | I send passwords | don't sent passwords | when should I send a password?? If I send it while the other person hasn't followed back I feel like I'm being pushy & almost demanding a follow back. If I don't send it and follow them, then they will think I didn't read the rules.
3-5 ESSENTIAL RULES PEOPLE HAVE TO RESPECT
My blogs are +18 only. I know you feel ready and don't know why is this thing so common; I felt the same way. You will get it when you're older.
Don't use Amber Heard as a faceclaim if you would like to write with me. I don't tolerate Johnny Depp slander either.
Like my characters, my writing style is also intense. Grand storylines, deep emotions, detailed fight scenes, serious conflicts. As @erthlyheavn once called the 'genre' (and I'm still extremely honored): Jasminean tragedy.
3-5 IMPORTANT PET PEEVES TO KEEP IN MIND
Tiny ass icons (less than 100x100) with a distorting psd slapped onto it with a fancy border. I CAN'T SEE SHIT. Let alone make out the character's expression. This isn't a dealbreaker though, I just don't understand the appeal of something so microscopic supposing to convey emotions.
Extreme formatting to the point I have difficulty reading it, despite my eyesight is great.
Haven't really happened, but expecting Rozy (or any of my muses) to be immediately down to have sex with yours. She might feel attraction at first sight, especially if the first meeting is a swordfight, but she's a trauma ridden gray asexual. It will take some time.
That being said, treating OC X Canon ships like it's the fucking 8th deadly sin.
2-5 THINGS THAT WILL LEAD TO INSTANT (SOFT) BLOCKING
Porn bots duh.
Blogs without displayed +18 age (I am fine with personal blogs if they are +18)
Terfs, racism, homophobia, Amber Heard supporters etc
Anon hate, unless I'm feeling snappy enough to answer.
2-5 THINGS THAT LEAD ME TO UNFOLLOW / SOFT HARDBLOCK A MUTUAL / SOMEONE I INTERACT WITH
We all know and put in the no racists etc list in our rules but I haven't seen many 'don't interact if you're anti sex work'. So if I see anyone speaking poorly of sex work in general, sex workers of any kind from full time workers to selling feet pics on Onlyfans; saying they deserve whatever treatment because of their line of work, daddy issues/uneducated/unintelligent jokes, use of slurs: get the fuck out of my sight and be very glad I'm not your neighbor. My blogs are all safe spaces for every kind of sex workers.
Portraying pedophilia/rape/sexual abuse in a positive light. It's not the same as having those in your character's backstory, nor if your character has a warped mindset on it due to what they been through. I am able to tell when the mun themselves write it as a kink instead a character's trauma response.
Being soooooo 'anti callout' that they refuse to heed the 20+ page google docs of evidence and still interact with known abusers in the rpc. And I'm not talking about 'they called my friend stupid and have a similar theme as them' petty shit. I'm talking about grooming, pedophilia, slandering, manipulating, doxxing, harassing, stalking. If you let that fly because their writing is good, they make you graphics or for whatever the sorry attempt of an excuse; what the fuck.
Giving me unwarranted, unwanted, condescending criticism about my writing. This doesn't mean I don't accept criticism, far from it. I also ask for feedback from time to time. I don't care how this will sound: I know I'm a good writer. I researched everything, poured history, psychology, years of development, depth, nuances, despite her strengths/talents she is balanced on the power scale (especially with the latest addition of the necessary recovery after pulling her sword fuckery), just very difficult to deal with. You do not get to dismiss that nor try pull me down because you will only end up pissing me off for eternity. Just say 'Our writing styles don't match' and unfollow. No harm done with that. But giving me an incorrect lecture when I didn't even ask for it is one of the very few things that will get you blocked without a word, because I'm still courteous enough to not leave an essay how you had no right & break down why you're wrong in your inbox before the block. Don't make me tone down my writing style and insult me for it because you don't want to/incapable of matching it.
2-5 REASON YOU DON'T TO FOLLOW (BACK) SOMEONE
Writing style and/or preferred topics the other person wants to discover don't or barely overlap with mine.
Shittalking Ocs in the rules like 'canon gave us enough developed characters'. Are we seriously gatekeeping...creativity???
Overly...detailed or harsh isn't a good word for it; but if the rules are like blocking without a word in case of liking too many posts, reblogging a meme instead of the source, sending too many messages etc. Which is fine how you want to curate your space, but I have way too many problems to worry about irl and I don't want to feel like I'm on a minefield where one wrong move is game over forever when I'm supposed to have fun. I'm way too stressed for this.
Even if everything is fine but I don't feel that spark. When I follow, it means I'm very much interested, intrigued in your character, your portrayal and want to throw my psychotic captain & the disaster crew at your muse(s). But there are some cases when I simply can't feel that. And I don't want to disappoint anyone by giving replies without soul in them.

Awesome! I'm going to give you some advice to ease your transfer here.
1. You have already changed your name and profile picture, so you are safe, but do not trust anyone that hasn't. If you aren't sure, check their profile. It's most likely a bot, and if you hadn't changed either we would have thought you were a bot.
2. Make posts and reblog posts. This is the reblog website, the point is to reblog. No one is going to think you're annoying, no one is going to have a problem with it, Even if you decide to never make your own posts and only reblog, people will not care, and many will follow you anyway just because of your taste of reblogs.
3. Likes do nothing. Absolutely nothing. There is no algorithm whatsoever. If you like something, reblog it, because likes are absolutely useless and reblogs show them to a bigger audience, the people following you.
4. Use the tagging system and use it correctly. As I said, there is no algorithm whatsoever, so when you use tags you have to use them exactly how they are meant to. Do not put random tags to "give It reach", That is asking for trouble and is also against the entire point. It is not an algorithm, it is a organization system.
5. To that point, when you use tags, do not censor them. If a person doesn't want to see spiders for example, they will block the tags "spider", "spiders", "tw spider", and "tw spiders". What they will not block is "5p1d3r" or "tw Sp1d3r" or anything like that. By not using the actual words, you are making it so people who don't want to see spiders will see spiders. Tag correctly and use normal human words.
6. If you have a problem, block it. If you don't want to see something, block the tags. If you don't want to see someone's reblogs, unfollow them. If you find a person that you don't like then block them. Mentioning that you don't like them to their face, claiming what they are doing is terrible for whatever reason, mentioning that they might be racist/homophobic/xenophobic etc. is just asking for trouble, and if you want to be happy on the social platform that has no algorithm, then you need to curate it yourself. If you do not like it, just block it, you will be much happier.
7. Respect Tumblr culture. We have jokes here that have been running since the creation, and they are still funny to people, as well as being a large part of our culture and history. If you don't understand something, then ask for an explanation, don't just instantly claim "I don't understand it so it must be bad/inaccessible/etc." If you want to understand another culture, you have to do research, or immerse yourself in the culture without judgment.
That's all I can think of for now, but if you have any more questions feel free to either reblog my version of this post and ask, send me an ask in my ask box, or if you don't want to do it publicly then feel free to DM me. Hope you have fun!
Hello chat
My main platform has been TikTok since like 2018, I have liked the DSMP/had it and its creators as a special interest since late 2020/early 2021, I have liked general MC, MCYT, and content creators overall for even longer, and I have watched as TikTok has become Twitter 2
I seek solace and peace here
As payment, I shall provide y’all with art when I can
Thank you and goodnight

Yeah idk if I'd recommend tumblr
I mean, it is nice getting a dash that's only the people you follow, and not having to rely on algorithm, and instead just having a system where users share other users posts through reblogs which they can do as many times as they want, as well as tags where people can find the things you post
It's a pretty nice app for privacy too, from what I know tumblr doesn't really sell their users information to advertisers as much as they do on others (it's part of why the ads you might get here can seem very weird and unrelated to you), in fact I've heard when you do click on ads it's literally hard for advertisers to tell which customers come from tumblr because of how much tumblr is designed for privacy
People here also incurage privacy in general better then most places I feel, like on most social media you're expected to have an icon of your face, to post videos and photos of yourself and to not be anonymous at all really, but on tumblr not only could having an icon of yourself make you look like a bot, it's pretty incuraged to be as anonymous as you please compared to others,
there are a few exceptions, like people here who share their ages on their blogs, but you don't have to do that it's perfectly fine to keep it to yourself, the main thing I'd say that gets pretty close to pressuring people to share too much are posts that incurage you to reblog and answer a question in the tags, they can be quite fun but it is good to keep in mind how much you're sharing in those
The humor can be good here too, granted it can be a bit NSFW at times depending on who you follow but I'm sure if those kind of jokes bother you you can find the people who don't reblog that kind of stuff
That's one of the nice things about tumblr as well, it's a pretty good app for setting up your dash to be the kind of things you want to see and keep the things you don't want to see away from yourself, if you find someone you follow posts about something you don't like too much you can unfollow and not have to see it again, to take it a step further you can also block tags to make it even mroe easier to avoid seeing things you don't like (these can also count towards a down side though, it can be very easy to put yourself in an echo chamber where you're convinced most of tumblr (or even most people in general) are one way just because thats the part of tumblr you stick to, its important to consider that there's probably parts of tumblr you don't really see because you don't go there)
But, there's also a huge pornbot problem here, if you go through a popular tag it's bound to be filled with unrelated and malicious crap, and that's just the current version of it, bots can attempt to follow you, send you dms, there was a time where they would go to your askbox and send a porn video straight to you without your consent (thankfully by the time one did this to me tumblr had the function where it blurs videos amd images people send automatically so i didnt have to see it)
And the staff of tumblr, while they are currently trying to please the user base more from what I hear (like the fact they're getting rid of tumblr live thank god) they are a bit bad at keeping the users happy, maybe you could blame it on a hard to please crowd but still
As for the culture, eh I geuss it depends on what crowd you end up in but it can be a bit iffy, from my experience there's a lot of moral guilt tripping to convince you to reblog things, people will tell others to kill themselves if they don't like them (depends, there are also those on tumblr who really hate using that against anyone), misinformation can be a problem here but there's also the people who will tell you when something is a lie (to be fair misinformation is something to worry about on the internet in general)
This is a neutral statement, but tumblr culture in general I would say tends to be kind of, hipster? Is that the word? Anti pop culture that's the best way to put it, once again this could just be the part of tumblr I ended up on but the part I'm on deffinitly is full of people that are kind of the black sheep of the herd I would say, maybe you'll end up on a different part, maybe you won't, I have no idea if this sounds good to you but if it does then welcome
Idk if I covered all that could be considered bad and good about interacting with the tumblr user base, but I feel like anything else I could think of could apply to any socail media and for the most part, I tried my best to list things that specifically apply to tumblr, but I will admit my view may be a bit biased because I'm not really on any other social media other then tumblr and anything I know about other apps is from other people
In general I think that's about all I can say about tumblr, in some ways it's pretty great, I get why the users here prefer it to any other social media app, the fact it doesn't really need an algorithm is a pretty rare thing to find in a social media app these days, there's also a lot less censoring, which while that can mean people can say awful crap easier it also means you don't have to constantly censor yourself, you can say any swear word, death kill murder, things related to sex and you don't get in trouble for it, it's a nice bit of freedom compared to tiktok where the people on there expect you to say unalive, and its a decent place to find other people like yourself as well
thx

I have a lot of shit going on irl, so I am really sorry to anyone if I come across as crass, rude, or an asshole. I come onto Tumblr in order to escape the shit I am going through irl, so I already have very little patience when I am online.
I whole heartedly support TAG CULTURE and ao3. 'Don't like; Don't read.' I don't read a lot of dark(er) fic, because I don't like it, but it's not my place to tell others what to write. It is my place to block and filter out that content.
Please learn about censorship history before you try to push that as a good thing. Especially on Tumblr. The "they banned tits and everyone freaked out" webbed site. The site regularly mocking unalived and k!lled. Please spell out your intentions, so I can use the blacklist function properly.
1f y0u typ3 l1k3 th1s, c3ns0rsh1p 1s n0t my 3xp3ct4tion, but 1 w1ll r34d 1t 4nd sp34k y0ur l4ngu4g3.
Censorship is, and always has been, a slippery slope. The moment you argue something not being "family friendly" or say "think of the children," step back and remember that the same things have been and are still said about queer existence. It's the same thing that led to the fandom purges not too many years ago.
Please think before you regurgitate very obvious conservative and TERF takes (especially of you claim to be against them). If you are or agree with any TERFs, transmeds (people who say that trans existence is purely medical/trans people need medical intervention to be trans), or ""gender critical"" literally just go away. Science and history are against you.
With that out of the way, I don't blorbopost often (save random bursts of fanart or occasional theories (except currently I have a few vent posts)), but I am a BakuDeku fan.
Before that, though, I am a Bakugou fan. I care more about his development, treatment, and character more than I care about his importance to/part in any ship (which is unfortunately even more rare in newer fandom)
If you post jokes or memes about the current Hero Academia spoilers, deadass just block me right now. I don't want to see [redacted] and I don't fucking care. Even if it's just a softblock (assuming I follow you), I'm done. I don't want that shit on my dash.
Otherwise, I'm into a myriad of different shows (mostly anime), but I think I'm honestly done with fandom as a whole? Never be afraid to fandomtalk with me though! I'm very open to asks and DMs and post replies! This post is very harsh, because it's made after dealing with most of the shit I talk about, but I really am nice and approachable as long as you don't come into my house with terminally online takes calling me terminally online.
It's sad and pathetic.
Other than that, I (usually) don't reblog guilt-trip or anger-activist posts with the intention of agreeing with them. There are a lot of issues out in this world today, and nobody has the ability to care about them all. We certainly don't have the power, and 'privilege' isn't some Pokemon game of type weaknesses; it's a case by case issue at best and it can be easily weaponized.
My last pinned post had a better description, but honestly I've just started unfollowing people who guilt trip too much. I come here for fun.
I don't fuck with reactionary bullshit. Please stop and think for five fucking seconds. This is the internet, we have that luxury, and yet people seem to throw it out the window at the nearest chance.
Also if you make fun of (me specifically, but anyone) for writing long posts, you are cringe. Sorry you can't process more than three sentences, but I can. I keepy posts as nuanced as possible and explore man angles.
If I write too much for you to understand (non native English speakers, neurodivergent people, and anyone who has genuine difficulty reading), I will happily break down my points into smaller groups and discuss each part in a civil manner.
But if you say "I'm not reading that" I am putting your clown shoes on the other side of the door and locking you out of my house. That's cringe. Get better reading skills or go away.

Note
please don't do this. I'm suicidal and I just very politely asked if billy could stop saying drink bleach because it's triggering. I wasn't rude or anything. Why are you doing this? All I said was stop telling people to kill themselves and now you are all saying this i really don't understand.
Warning: mentions of suicide/joking about suicide below the cut.
So firstly I want to apologize for not tagging that thread with a suicide mention content warning. I've fixed that, and I will try to use a content warning for any other mentions of suicide moving forward.
I will say this for the record, that if I ever post about something that is a commonly held trigger for anyone who follows me in the future, please let me know and I will try to tag it. That being said I can't, and won't tag for every single tiny little thing that might possibly be one person's trigger, (and like, I won't tag for every time I talk about how much I want to kiss monsters, because at this point that's just who I am and if you're following me I'm sorry to say you're stuck with that fact).
Now as far as whatever it is that Billy is doing, I'm sorry but I'm not her mom, and I'm not going to try to police what she says or does. Billy joking about drinking bleach is a pretty common thing from what I've seen, so I would strongly recommend that anyone who might be hurt by that not follow her, or maybe even block her if you need to.
I understand that there are certain things you might not want to joke about with people in real life, (I have a friend irl who is also triggered by mentions and jokes about suicide, and I would never in a million years make that kind of joke to or around her). But in an online space like a personal blog, no one is going to be able to possibly moderate their speech for every individual, and how far a person is willing to moderate what and how they say things might be different from person to person.
I wonder if maybe you considered politely asking Billy if she couldn't tag her jokes about this subject rather than just coming right out of pocket to tell her how she should talk on her own personal blog?
As far as my part in the joke, for some of my mutuals we have had a long-standing inside joke about all of us being in a cult due to claims from people in the fandom who don't like that people have opinions different than them. So in the past, we have made jokes often about all the cult activities we do, like gaslighting, ritual sacrifices, and suicide pacts.
I promise that I can definitely try to tag any of our shitposts I reblog that has mentions of suicide in them from now on, but I can't (and won't) promise that I'll never participate in these jokes in the future. So I would really hope that if the possibility of seeing these kinds of jokes might be triggering to please, PLEASE unfollow or block me. Your safety is much more important to me than whether you follow me, or look at any of the stupid, silly stuff I post on this blog. 💗

I'll join this devil and angel shoulder thing. I might be on the discouragement side, but it comes from a place of "yeah, I've also had my interesting fictional obsessions too, and well, we both know what needs to happen." But also, a part of me is like "I get it. Well, I don't get the Afton thing specifically in the slightest, but I get the vibe. Run child. Run and be free." I think there is a second set of angels and devils on my shoulder both trying to convince me to be one of them.
Anon before we begin I want you to know this is not directed at you. I'm all for having fun on this blog, but in order to do so, you all need to know where I stand on it, right? Right. So here it is:
The fantastic part is I simply do not care what any of you truly think. I know I like him, I am an adult that knows how to differentiate real life from fiction, and nobody is being harmed because of this.
William Afton is not real, the children he killed are not real, I do not condone his actions nor do I romanticize them.
I wholeheartedly believe that instead of trying to police others on their interests when they aren't bothering any one and are not harmful in any way just because you personally do not like them is wrong, and you should take a step back and look at yourself and figure out why you feel the need to try and stop others from having fun.
However, since I personally don't care what any of you think about my interests and will continue to unapologetically simp for this man on main, I GENUINELY am alright with you guys sending these asks. I'm happy, I'm free, they don't bother me. This is NOT me condoning you running off to other people and doing the same thing.
Please remember that when you interact with blogs, there are real people on the other side you're talking to, those are their real interests you're knocking down. You wouldn't want someone making you feel like shit for something you're passionate about, something that brings you joy, so don't do it to others when it does not concern you. Some people on the spectrum will especially feel hurt when you constantly tear down their interests. I know this because I am one of those people, I'm just so incredibly used to it and typically double down on my interest each time someone makes fun of it. Not everyone is like that, so just be kind to others.
If it genuinely bothers you guys, unfollow me or filter out the tag, because yes I DO tag those posts SPECIFICALLY because I thought about how my interest might not be appealing to others. I do not have to do this, but I do. This is my blog and I will continue to post what I want to post. If you do not like what I post, or what I post makes you uncomfortable, unfollow me. It will not hurt my feelings. I do not care. I have done more than I'm required to do on my blog to make it easy for you all to filter out content you personally may not enjoy, but I am not going to stop talking about it on my blog because you do not enjoy it.
But anyway, this is just so we ALL know where I stand on this. I personally am all for these silly Anon asks we've been receiving and your comments on posts (although DO NOT comment like that on other people's art you see me reblogging. I WILL block you at that point. Op of the post did not agree to this and you're just coming off as rude to them on their post for no reason. Literally do not do it. You're allowed to simply not interact with posts.), it's whatever yknow? It's being received as a joke on my end, godspeed to all of you. I am not hurting anyone, I'm just having fun, and you guys should as well :)

Tbh i love how many times we all get to reblog one thing and it is funny when all the girlies put one post on your dash 10 times.
but i wonder the impact seeing the same type of negativity and arguments again and again and again has on your opinion of them.
Because, like, the first time i see "marvel is the death of cinema" i'm, like, yeah, definitely an attention grabbing way to put it. but even as a fan, there are absolutely valid points about how marvel films pander to the lowest common denominator and are manufactered to be appealing to almost anyone. Its art for the sake of making money, not telling a good or fulfilling story, that kinda sucks.
But when you see the same argument- maybe made into three separate posts by three different people but theyre saying the same thing, and they each come onto your dash at least two times because people you follow follow each other, its like, OKAY ive seen this 12 times now. i fucking get it.
Now OBVIOUSLY op isnt talking to me directly. And people like to share things they agree with or things that make them think, its their blog. They should keep it up. but that doesnt mean repetition isnt, like, irriating? Or tiresome? Or may make us turn negative towards a sentiment we originally agreed with?? I mean, thats why jokes and memes get old, right? and those are neutral or positive experiences.
And i am using this as just One example, because it happens with more politicized discourse (for instance, why is there such a small amount of f/f fanfic?). And the repetitions are usually, like, less frequent but over a longer amount of time, or may be things that happen when new people join a fandom and notice something that people who have been here a while have sort of talked to death but its new to Them and thats still fair, too...
Its just, like. Interesting!
And i wonder if anyone else has this experience, where the same argument that you do, or at least did agree with, you start to get really tired of really quick due to overexposure? Or is that just me sometimes lmao
Please note im not trying to say people shouldnt talk about things or share things etc. If anything the only thing id agrue is to make Postblock a real thing on tumblr, including mobile, because i like to block individual posts more than unfollow 25% of blogs i generally do like. Im posting more about the phenomenon of, like, seeing things so much you get annoyed by them or dislike them outta spike but applying that to legitmate discussion or takes rather than Pop Music .

Ok but that one reblog was the kind of attitude I was talking about. “I’m a minor and I shouldn’t have to see adults discussing this on my dash” again, it’s not adults’ jobs to cater to the minors in fandom. If you don’t like what they’re posting/ it’s too mature for you to handle then it’s on you to unfollow them, NOT dictate what can or cannot joke about/ post because it makes you uncomfortable. It was again telling adults specifically what they’re “allowed” to do because ATLA “is for kids”
I was ok with the post in the beginning then when I read more I realized it’s more of that “you’re not allowed to age up characters” and “were gunna treat them as literal children even though they’re not real” logic, that this Zutara fandom gets harassed with constantly.
I’m not attacking you of course. I’m just kinda unsure because I’ve seen you fight against that mentality many many times on your blog. Especially when it comes to fanart and fics. OP seems to be from that same kind of thinking
Relax, A, I didn't feel any hostility coming from you. And yes, I've said many times before there's nothing wrong with aging-up the ATLA characters. (Seriously, why would it? They do not exist) Nobody is harming anyone with that. Yet, many LGBTQIA fans of all ages do feel uncomfortable with the fandom's attitude towards the same-sex ships, and that is harmful for them. This issue is not solved by just blocking some tags, it's them having to give up on a ship they truly love or feel identified with just for the fandom's attitude towards their IRL sexuality.
I will never stop saying everyone, including (especially) minors, should be responsible for their own fandom experience, and I will never stop defending the fact that there's nothing wrong with aging-up ATLA characters — that's not even something you have to defend, they just don't exist — but this time the post explicitly calls out the fetishising of same-sex ships, which is a problem seen with the new fandom, and that's something that worries me because it is a real problem, but because I'm not LGBTQIA my opinion lacks some weight. And, like you, I was with the post for the most part until the end, but this time I decided my worry for my LGBTQIA friends outweighed my hate for "fandom policing". (👈🏽 Yo, old school ATLA fandom, see what I did there? 🤣)
We, Zutara shippers, don't like people telling us to give up our fandom experience, and LGBTQ fans don't like people pushing them to give up theirs.
It's hard to find someone that agrees with you 100% of the time but... we have something in common. Right?
Edit: You know what, I deleted the reblog, there's no reason for one issue to outweigh the other, they are not mutually exclusive.

What's going on? I just came to see what's going on and I find out something happened? Is everything alright? I really hope you're okay.. I don't really know you personally but I really look up to you as a writer and you seem like an amazing person, and I'm really concerned now..
Okay I wanna clear this up once and for all bc it’s kinda messy. Here’s a timeline for anyone confused;
I started a joint blog for yandere writers with 7 other ppl. I decided to take a break bc my grandma died and my mom wasn’t taking it well. I planned to return within a couple months but until then, I wanted to dissociate by temporarily leaving the groupchat and relinquishing my admin title. Like a day after I left, they made an announcement that they were changing the rules I made for the blog. I also noticed that only two of the current admins were still following me. I answered a few asks joking that I needed new mutuals bc I had like none (which was true). Later, someone asked me what happened to my stories bc they couldn’t find them on the joint blog. I go and see that they removed my stories from their masterlist and basically hid it. I was really hurt and was honest with my followers about it. Then, someone sent me a post that Chimchim made which said I left them and no longer wanted to talk to them (also called me bitchy). This was reblogged by another admin as well. I was mad bc I didn’t leave them, my family needs my attention rn and I didn’t do anything towards them to imply that I didn’t fuck with them anymore (in fact, it was them who unfollowed me). Chimchim also blocked me. Then they saw that I was answering asks about what they did, they proceeded to make a masterpost about me to ‘expose’ me with pictures of private messages (I’m a minor btw and some of them are actually adults so that’s fresh) that were meant to pubically humiliate me despite them not proving anything.

i haven't seen much support but as an ace person i'm SO glad you can feel that, i always think about how lonely we are in a community that should be celebrating? or rather accepting others for their sexulity/gender, but we are changing that
honestly, i get what you mean. it was such a surprise to see a good amount of ppl I follow reblogging posts saying “ace ppl are lgbt+ and if you disagree unfollow me” precisely because I don’t usually feel that sentiment online.
I think a lot of it is unintentional. like, people will reblog things thinking they’re lighthearted jokes, not spotting things that we do because we can recognise and be more hyperaware of the specific ways in which people devalue aces (including, ironically, making even us recognising and worrying about those things into a meme)
I spend more time on twitter than tumblr these days and exclusionism definitely still feels rife there, sadly.. I have 1000+ people blocked, without the help of a blocklist lmao. and i still feel it, so I get you.
i would say, for anyone who feels this way too:
don’t be shy with the block button!! for random users, i used to try give ppl the benefit of the doubt if they made an iffy tweet/post, give second or third chances. nope! no more. don’t even give them the chance to ruin your mood again. they’ll survive, often not even notice or realise, and your space just got that little bit safer.
unfortunately there are people who don’t bother to read or will just straight up ignore about/byf pages, but it’s always worth clearly stating u don’t want exclusionists to interact with/follow u. many ppl will look and listen, as it works for them too.
with friends, don’t be afraid to approach or talk to them about it. as i say above, some of it is just other ppl genuinely just don’t spot the aphobe/ace exclusionist dog-whistles we do.
when an online friend does say or reblog/retweet something exclusionary, i usually approach (privately in dms, ppl can get defensive if they feel confronted publicly) with something along the lines of “hey, this post you made/retweeted made me uncomfortable. i can explain more if you wanna hear it, but if you actually feel that way about aces i’m not comfortable being mutuals, so i hope we can just break the mutual on good terms”. this has a few possible outcomes: they maintain their point and break the mutual but do so at least respectfully and without a fuss, OR, you might just get them to hear you out! the latter has happened more with me than the former. ofc there is a chance they’ll be rude, but given you’re being calm/polite, they’d only be showing themselves to be the ass - and you don’t need “friends” like that anyway.
when ur tired and hurt and fed up of seeing exclusionism, talk to ur trusted friends about it! it really does make you feel so alienated from the community and lonely, so talking to my other ace & otherwise lgbt friends about it and having their support and love is the best thing and helps more than anything else, for me.
i know im not the most active ever, but im here if you ever wanna shoot me an ask or message to talk. you specifically, anon, or anyone else here. i promise you the support is there, it’s just sometimes the loud hate can drown it out, especially when ur already tired and hurting. but we’ll get there!!
