She stormed out the school, furious. Not only had the show gone wrong, but her social status had dropped. The next day would be humiliating for her. She didn’t even mutter a word to Gretchen or Karen. Not even they knew why the queen bee was angry. Sure they knew the talent show went wrong - but they didn’t think much about it. Then again, they didn’t think a lot.

“Bye Regina,” they both waved as Regina got into her very expensive, hot pink, jeep. Knowing that the hot-headed blonde would definitely not drop them off like she usually did, they walked along the path not uttering a word to each other.

“What’s that honey,” y/n wipes away the falling tears.

“I-it’s just… Cady has been plotting against me the whole time, apparently, she’s been making me fat” she choked out a sob falling into the tired girl’s arms.

“Gina darling, I promise you didn’t wake me up, I was working out. And sweetheart I don’t care if you’re fat. I’ll still love you. And anyway, cady doesn’t matter just me and you okay?” her voice trailed off but was stopped with a passionate kiss. Y/n got pushed to the edge of what seemed to be her sofa. She finally knew what was happening and smirked into the kiss. When air was required they pulled back.

“You know you could have just asked if you were so desperate, I would have given you it,” her swollen lips formed into a small innocent smile.

Pushing herself onto her butt, she brought Regina forward placing an inmate kiss on her lips. She whimpered into the kiss when Regina bit her bottom lip, giving her a chance to slip her tongue in. Exploring all of her soulmates mouth. She brought her hands up to her peers rosy red cheeks and caressed them. She stopped for a moment and put their foreheads together. “Tell me when you want to stop, kay, cutie”. Y/n nodded eagerly - which made the blonde smile- she whispered a good girl which made the y/h/c girl smirk mischievously.

They both pushed their lips back against each other, Regina’s hands dropped down to y/n’s hips caressing them. Her mouth kissed her jaw all the way to her neck, sucking gently in the skin (just enough to leave a mark). A moan got caught in Y/n’s throat to which Regina squeezed her throat gently. Then the whimper finally came out as Regina found her pulse point and sucked on it. The bottom girl’s eyes fluttered shut waiting for further movement. But the she heard the movement go away from her. She opened her eyes and peeked through her eyelashes. The sight that beheld before her was Regina getting undressed. “No peeking baby” she giggled.

Regina peeled each layer off leaving y/n waiting impatiently. Once done, the blue-eyed girl moved towards Y/n and slowly uncovered her eyes.

"What's got you so horny Gina?" The y/h/c girl asked flushed but curious. The school star just put one finger to her lips, indicating for y/n to shut up. Regina slowly moved towards Y/nn, making her impatient. Quickly, she pulled Regina onto her thigh, Regina let out a whimper and threw her head back. Y/n, now that she has access, carefully bit down on her neck, licking to stop the soreness. Regina gripped onto her hair, tugging on it; smirking in satisfaction when the girl below her moaned onto her neck.

had lunch and ice cream with one of my mom's childhood best friends who is in school doing her master's in theology (she's a minister in the united church) and i hadn't seen her since i was probably 5 or 6 years old so i was nervous as hell especially having transitioned in the meantime LOL but it went so great and we had a really beautiful conversation about sikhism and christianity and we even talked a bit about how she's doing training in anti racism and decolonization for her ministry program and learning more about indigenous water crises and antiblackness in canadian past and present and how to be mindful of these things in her work and it was genuinely really nice to hear these things from a white christian minister because my experience with protestantism growing up was ummmmm not good at all lmao. quite bad in fact. so it's nice having thoughtful conversations about it with someone in the church who is genuinely kind and cares about other people idk how else to put it lol. especially because she didn't try to convert me, that's the big thing that always upsets me and she didn't do that which is a win 👍🏼

spent my entire shower thinking about how everett never truly got a chance to mourn carver because she had to be the one in charge and take care of leandra and bethany while they grieved, and carver was before kirkwall so she didn't even have any friends to go to. she had to be the strong one and because of it she couldn't properly mourn the loss of her little brother, and i know that rocky relationship is going to knock the fucking wind out of her someday when she's thinking about him again in the wake of leandra's death. reminiscing about the family to anders who never really got to know any of them except for bethany, a little

carver always felt like he was living in hawke's shadow, even more so for everett personally i feel because he already couldn't compete with bethany being a mage, but now he can't even make a name for himself as a warrior/soldier because his big sister's always there. idk the specifics of their time in cailan's army but i imagine everett was by his side constantly because she was worried about him

i think malcolm raised her to be the man of the house because he wanted his family taken care of in the event he died or was taken away, and that absolutely messed everett up as a kid. it's why she doesn't let herself cry in front of the party and why she lies about how she's feeling or otherwise keeps it to herself. but because malcolm raised her that way, she mothers the twins a lot and where i think bethany appreciates it, carver hates it because he thinks hawke is being patronizing

it's such a shame they were never able to reconcile that. i'm sure everett's haunted by the fact that it always seemed like carver didn't like her and she could never figure out why until they were older but by that point the damage had been done and she didn’t know how to undo it, especially not after malcolm’s death, so they sort of just sat in limbo

she's also haunted by the fact that she'll never get to tell him how much she loved him and how proud she was of him and how she knows malcolm felt the same. one of her biggest fears/regrets is the idea that carver died thinking he was unloved or out of place in his family

another thing is that i think that the reason carver would nail bethany's braid to the bed when they were children stems from him seeking attention from malcolm, whether good or bad. idk what his relationship with leandra was like but we know from carver that he felt neglected by malcolm (though i can’t find the dialogue so idk what he says specifically)

and there’s also my personal canon being that carver is the spitting image of leandra where everett got malcolm’s hair and bethany got his eyes, so he doesn’t even have that tying them together. the only thing carver has from malcolm is that malcolm named him. bethany was his little mage and everett was the family guardian, and that left carver feeling like the odd kid out even when malcolm trained him similar to the way he trained hawke iirc. and he was never able to move on from feeling like the black sheep and resenting his sister(s) because he died so young :(

Synopsis: HCs of Atriox caring for a young human woman like a pet and companion.

Content Warnings: Romantic Pairing, Female Reader, Human/Jiralhanae pair, Human pets mention, Slight degrading behavior, Some possessive/protective behavior, Leans into dark territory at times but I kept it light, Canon typical violence.

You are easily Atriox's most prized companion.

He is fine with humans as some Banished are actually human.

Although... you're different.

You are no fighter, you aren't meant to be.

No, instead you were taken in as some sort of "pet" for Atriox after having nowhere else to go.

Despite this... the Banished leader treats you with care.

Care enough to leave his mark on you, anyways.

By that I mean he models your looks in his image.

He has your long grown out hair braided similar to his beard.

He's careful with it, probably doing it himself as you sit very still.

That along with similar face paint to what he wears.

When people see the skull-like war paint on your face... they'll associate you with Atriox.

Which is exactly what Atriox wants.

I say this as I imagine Jiralhanae are possessive of what's theirs.

If Atriox has claimed you as his human companion, a pet to pamper and coddle, then he wants the rest of The Banished to know.

Another way to show you're claimed is him dictating what you wear.

Atriox probably has Banished humans get your size then create human armor tinged a crimson red.

You're dressed like a warrior, even if you couldn't harm even the smallest creature.

That isn't your role... your role is to attend to the needs Atriox has.

Atriox has Banished members close to him, yet you're closest to him.

Atriox always has you around him.

Even during meetings others will catch him holding onto you, a young human woman dressed in Banished paint and clothing, sitting beside or on the large Jiralhanae.

The role itself is a bit degrading.

Yet Atriox doesn't harm you, surprisingly.

Atriox could slaughter or have others slaughter countless humans who oppose him.

Yet then he comes back to you and gently brushes his claws against your cheek or rubs your head.

You reciprocate, too.

Perhaps you were against this role in the start... but now you respect and maybe even adore Atriox.

He's your leader... a master probably... and the one who tends to you.

You can be Atriox is hesitant or even hostile to the idea of having other members around you.

They may speak to you briefly... but he will cut them off if they are too close.

He's possessive and dislikes the attention others give you.

However, he is quickly reassured when you go back to clinging to him and listening to his words.

Atriox finds pride in how well you listen to him.

If he asked you to roll over, you probably would.

As a result... your loyalty rewards you freedoms.

After all, he's already dressed you like him to show others not to touch you.

You can roam Banished areas as long as you come back to him.

Atriox keeps you clean and makes sure when you sleep it's in comfort.

If someone advised against him caring for you they'd be dealt with.

Atriox may not show it but he loves it when you declare your devotion to him.

Tell him you love him... tell him you're his... show your loyalty and he'll praise you.

He's taught you well, no?

Atriox definitely seems like he'd keep you in his lap.

His prized lap dog.

I imagine when it comes to treating you like a pet he'd call you things like, idk, "Good Girl?"

Again, it can sound degrading, but he means it in an oddly affectionate tone.

Especially when he says it while squeezing you tight or tracing a claw around your cheek.

I imagine if Atriox dies he'd have it set for you to go to who's next in charge.

He hates the idea of giving you to some other Jiralhanae... but he'll give you to someone he trusts to be cared for.

Which would most likely be Decimus or Escharum.

So despite your position, Atriox would take care of you.

You're protected... and in a way loved.

Atriox may not fully see you like he'd see a mate, but it's pretty darn close.

He is surprisingly caring towards you in private.

If you got injured he'd no doubt kill whoever allowed it to happen.

Atriox hasn't cared for any human as much as you.

You may be considered a pet to most others...

But to Atriox? You're most likely much more than that.

Which brings you a strange, but welcome sense of comfort when you see him.
