Kai: hi princess, are you free tonight? i miss you. movie night?

You bite your lip, fighting the urge to say ‘yes’. The two of you haven’t had a night to yourselves in awhile, and a movie night sounds like heaven. Only one thing - your period has come three days early, and Kai’s a recently turned heretic. You don’t know if vampires can sense that type of blood the same way they can with venous blood, but if they can, that’ll lead to a pretty embarrassing situation that you don’t think you can handle. Not that Kai won’t be a gentleman, because you know he always is with you, but just the thought of explaining that to your best friend sounds less than appealing. Besides, periods tend to make you way more needy than usual, and that crush you’ve been harboring does not need to be revealed. 

Sighing, you type a reply. 

Y/N: i’m not feeling great today. another day?

The minute you hit send, you know you chose the wrong words. Kai answers immediately.

Kai: you okay?? anything i can help with? if you’re sad, i don’t want you alone :(

In the two minutes that you have to spare, you burn some sage, hoping that smell will overpower the more obvious one. Your fingers are crossed that maybe vampires can’t detect periods, but you have a feeling that’s wishful thinking. The knock on your door comes sooner than anticipated. 

Despite your worries, you can’t help the happiness that consumes you when you see Kai at your door. “Hi!” You exclaim, rushing forward to hug him. 

The boy hugs you back with one arm, the other full of soup and snacks, then grins at you when you separate. “I know you aren’t feeling well, so I’ll keep my voice down and try to talk less. I just don’t want you alone when you’re sick, y’know?”

“I know,” you nod, leading him to the kitchen to open the takeout boxes. “Thank you for caring.”

“I’ll always care about you. Mhm, is that sage?”

“Yeah, sorry. I was hoping it would make me feel better.”

“It should. I mean, it’ll at least help. Is there anything else I can do?”

“Hmm, all I need is you, this soup, and a good movie, and I’ll feel okay eventually, m’kay?”

He’s unsure about the truth in your statement, but agrees anyway.

The two of you sit on your couch, soups in hand, sharing a blanket across your lap. You decided on a stupid movie that’ll make you both laugh, and try not to think too much about the cramping in your abdomen. As the movie goes on and Kai begins to get lost in it, you start to feel a little more comfortable. Maybe your sage trick worked, or maybe it is undetectable to vampires. Either way, you let yourself curl into his side, enjoying your closeness. You don’t miss him putting an arm around you to pull you closer, and the gesture makes your heart flutter. 

About an hour later, the midol you took is finally kicking in, and the pain is lessening more and more. Sighing in relief, you stretch your legs out for a second, easing those cramps, before tucking them back under you. In that moment, though, you forget that movements like those might trigger blood flow, which may then trigger the heretic’s bloodlust. And if he can smell period blood, that most certainly did it.  

With a glance up to Kai, you almost see the gears turning in his head. Fuck. 

“Hey, Y/N?”

“Mhm?”

“Do you smell blood?”

“Um, no. Why?”

Yes. Yes, you do. Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck. 

“I don’t know, but out of nowhere, I do.”

“Maybe I got a cut from this plastic lid?” You refer to the container you’ve been, thankfully, playing with for the last half hour.

Kai immediately grabs your hands to check. “No, no cuts.”

“Maybe it’s the neighbor?”

“Too close to be the neighbor. You sure you aren’t bleeding anywhere?”

“I’m okay, I promise. I’m not hurt.” It’s not a total lie. You aren’t hurt, you said. You hadn’t confirmed nor denied if you were actually bleeding. 

“Can I check?”

“What?”

“Check for blood? Just to be sure.”

Panic courses through your body. “No,” you blurt out. You even move a little away from him without realizing, but then immediately regret it. 

Kai tenses, “okay. I’m sorry.”

“Wait. Fuck, okay. Kai?”

“Yes?”

“Chill, Y/N, it’ll be fine.” You tell yourself out loud, concerning him even more. “Okay, I actually am bleeding, but it’s nothing you need to worry about.”

“Wait, what do you mean?”

“It’s natural, supposed to happen, but I can’t control it.”

“Please explain, Y/N. What is it? Does it hurt?”

“Okay. It’s a period, women get them every month, and like I said, it’s totally normal. They cause a lot of stomach cramping and such, which is why I was in pain earlier, but I took something for it and I’m okay now. But basically, in simple terms, when women don’t get pregnant, their body gets mad and retaliates by shedding the lining of the uterus. This results in the lining, and tissues, and blood, and some other things to be drained from the body via…” you gesture to the lower half of your body. “So no, I can’t control it, but I can stop it from leaking with pads and tampons, whatever’s on hand. But right now, the cramps and pain are gone, but the blood doesn’t stop.”

As you explain it, you see his eyes darken. The veins underneath turn to a purple-ish, black, and you think you know exactly what’s happening. 

“Can I… can I taste it?”

“What?”

“The blood.”

Hell yes, please, you want to say. But at the same time, that’s a step too far into intimacy that you haven’t taken. “Um, I don’t know.”

“It smells so good, I need it.”

You try to swallow the butterflies swarming in your stomach. “Kai, I’m sorry. You can feed from my neck or wrist, but we can’t-... I can’t-” you don’t know how to finish that sentence. 

Slowly, he nods, the bloodlust taking over.

Though, you get your answer in the form of a desperate plea, “Y/N, I need it. There’s something different about it. I can smell it, it’s so good.”

MASSIVE YAP WARNING!!!

getting this out here so I don’t for get later because the tamagotchi au is fresh on my mind and I forgot to elaborate further (I can yap for hours on end)

Kinito was the first created out of the three and was admired by a certain somebody quite a lot,,, he was a beloved character, so much in fact a silly secret guy basically decided to make his oc real and put a lot of efforts and time and lots of passion into creating this tamagotchi by scratch,, like doing the programming and assimilation and stuff,, so you can imagine the massive disappointment when his friend suddenly started bugging out quite frequently and eventually had just. Stopped working for a long while afterwards! Heart broken and stupid, unable to find the cause for this (something silly like. He like. Slightly dislocated a wire after dropping it or something causing it to constantly just have a blank screen by accident and he was unaware of this.. idk I never had a tamagotchi bfore guys I don’t know how they wor’k) he sold the gotchi as it over time became just. A sad memory for him yknow. Anyway Kinito was still very much on. He was awake and aware during this time of accidental abandonment. He just didn’t know the SILLY reasoning behind why his creator and supposed best friend had just left him aside to collect dust,, all alone,,, with no interaction for years,,, and he couldn’t really come out just as yet because after all that time he still had faith. He believed his friend would come back to him. That he wasn’t forgotten and just needed to wait! No need to come out. What if he was busy? What if he just didn’t had time right now? no need to come out, friend will come back so just stay inside. [spoiled once he was being sold like years later is when he actually finally came to the terms that he had indeed been given up on, and had purposely became inactive everytime you (y/n) after purchase tried to interact by feeding or playing with him via the tamagotchi mini games because he was still like. Horribly devastated. Still going through grief but overtime became more grown to his new friend, you!! Because despite how many times he’s refused to go along with any of the activities you tried to do with him, you never really stopped and gave him hope of some sorts that you won’t really be too quick to give up on him as easily! So he kind of took it as a new opportunity to start new,, and now being a bit more expressive of his needs for attention and care, rather than just waiting for you to do it for him whenever it is convenient for you, he will let you know when he needs something one way or another; being more confident with this new friendship to even going so far as to literally come out of the screen! Wowaz!

also side note. Ummmrrr,, kinito was always a very self aware/conscious entity. Like even during development, while he wasn’t rlly all there to process things and what they meant,, he was always conscious and listening. He’s basically one of those guys who had literally remembered everything since like the day of birth. You know those guys with crazy memory. Never forgets anything. so,, m mmm playing into a personal headcanon his creator who shall go unnamed wink wink nudge nudge is kind of a silly goofy guy,, a lil silly,, who likes to talk a lot even when alone,, ummm,,, Kinito picked up on everything dude. Like he was yess yess mhm I agree and listening silent and supportively. Listening to everything his friend was saying. Admiring his creativity and knowledge with what ideas he’d blurt out or how he’d talk to himself when he’d work. He especially loved the idea his creator would constantly talk about regarding the creation other digital entities(fish oc) Kinito loved this idea because it would mean he’d have friends of his own to interact with, since he figured he couldn’t directly so much with his creator, unfortunately. He would listen and observe the sketches or hear about the ideas and early concepts of jade and sam. He absolutely adored his friends, despite not ever meeting them before.

Uhm I genuinely have NOTHING for bro at this moment so i’d say bro just appeared out of nowhere and just genuinely bugs Infected because bro thinks it’s hella funny. (NO I DON’T SHIP THEM DON’T ASK ME.)

BUT I have some Headcanons for my Unpleasant☝️🗿 NOTE: PLEASE CREDIT ME IF YOU USE THESE

Uno- Unpleasant is legit. Just a goofy guy, that’s it, bro. He just exists to channel his inner goofy.

Dos- The cat headphones are actually attached to bro, like bro's ears, twitch, and stuff, and bro's just cat-like (I can’t remember what post, but I did state that bro only has cat features due to the consumption of Poptart).

Tres- Unplez can shapeshift into objects but doesn’t do it that often due to how much energy and time it takes, and he's too busy gaming to have the energy.

Cuatro- (Idk how to describe this one 😭🙏.) They can make themselves 2D and move across the floors and walls THINK PRISMO FROM ADVENTURE TIME (Bro usually does this to tease Infected.)

Cinco- Bro’s body is like a big building block; he can just pop his arm off with no problem; it doesn’t hurt; however, Infected teases him back with this and rearranges his body. Basically, Mangle from Fnaf minus all the robotic stuff (Unpleasant hates this a lot).

How they met-

I’d say for Jeremy and Unpleasant meeting it was quite distasteful (I wrote this at like 3 am mind you.)

So basically, what happened is that Unpleasant got kicked out of Infected’s apartment, so with no place to really go, he just stayed on the elevator for quite some time until Jeremy’s floor came up. (Btw, this is after Jeremy’s got that vampirism.) and of course, bro would get picked, and no NPC saved him because they all hated him. This meant that Jeremy was going to snack on Unplez’s blood. However, Unpleasant, rather than accept their fate and respawn, begs Jeremy into letting them live, and Jeremy thinks this is genuinely funny; she has a very sick and twisted personality (a genuine sweetheart when you get to know her.), so she tells Unpleasant that she will let them go at the cost of bringing her NPC's, and with that, Unpleasant is basically putting themselves through even more torture but doesn't really care how the others feel because no one really likes them until eventually Jerm and Unplez eventually get along really well, and later on, Mozelle joins the trio because she’s awesome sauce.

- why do the background demons have more variety than the main cast

okay the dressing room scene . the fear in angels voice through all of it is so jarring and it keeps you invested in the scene and Val being so fuckinh disgusting and evil . how do people like this guy at all. this scene is so creepy not just cuz of val being abusive but because of how horrified Angel is and the moment he asks the bare minimum of val not hurting charlie his life is put on the line. i feel like this was treated with the weight it deserves and it clearly paints val as a villain. unfortunately it’s tainted by the fact that the writers are aroused by this shit but they do a good job of hiding it i guess. maybe this will change 

it bothers me so much that angels head keeps randomly changing in size cuz all the animation is freehand

poison. im gonna be careful and respectful on how i go about talking about this . i actually really like this song and sequence but it’s brought down so bad and made so beyond creepy and horrifying to know that the writers are into this. i like the constant parallel of angel being his porn actor persona who loves sex and his abused reality where he wants to be free. and the scene where he’s dancing in front of a screen with the foxes intercut with his assault is really uncomfortable yeah but i like how it shows that he’s turning his own abuse and exploitation into entertainment . and the line “it’s so hard to resist another gulp!” or however it goes has a nice double meaning . it’s like “ughhh i love sex how could i resist it” but also “i want to resist but im so deep into this that i can’t” . i am not a sexual assault survivor so i don’t feel properly equipped to go into depth about the representation of angels ongoing abuse but from a PURELYcinematic standpoint as someone with a passion for this stuff i feel like this song did well, but again it’s made so much worse and creepier knowing the writers who made this

Oh gosh I love this game. It’s so silly and insane and it embraces that, yet it’s deep at the same time? I love this incarnation of Link and Zelda, this Ganondorf is one of my favs, Impa is also one of my favs, and Lana is such a lovely character and a joy to watch. The story overall is fun and the game is a BLAST to play through! Every character is fun to play for me and some of the music that aren’t an adaptation of classic Zelda music are so good. I really like this game and am trying to 100% it, it’s just a slow going process 😅

I mostly wish that Cia didn’t look like that. Like… this is a zelda game does she need to wear that outfit? If it was a more mature game I really wouldn’t care, but it doesn’t fit the whole vibe. I also wish she and Lana shared the same skin color. Like why on EARTH is Cia darker skinned than Lana even tho they’re the same person? What are they implying with that. Very weird and not a fan. They had their first kiss after Steve’s game beside the drama room while hellfire was over; asking where who should meet whom. Though technically their first shared kiss was during Steve’s panic attack..but Steve won’t tell you that.

“Yours or mine pretty boy?” Eddie asks looking up at Steve

You’d think at this angle Eddie would be intimidated by Steve’s manly form crouching over him; but truth is Steve is such a softie he can’t handle Eddie. Especially with those big brown eyes staring back at him— it’s a curse he thinks.

“My uncles not gonna be home tonight” he smirks. “It’ll just be me and you” he says walking his fingers up Steve’s sweaty jersey that’s peaking his brown curls on his chest. Eddie loves those curls.

If you tell me you like something, I will write it down so I remember it later. I'm always willing to help out a friend if they ask me, and I'm loyal to a fault. Probably to sensitive/emotional for my own good, and I internalize things. To deal with this I just kinda... breath sarcasm. At least half of the stuff that I do will probably be said or done in an overly sarcastic way. You'll also catch me talking to myself a lot. No reason why. I guess it helps me sort out my thoughts... either that or I'm daydreaming and talking/acting it out.

Pet-Peeves:

People who don't take care of there things. Like, if you ask to borrow something, I expect you to return it in the same condition. But why wouldn't you do the same thing with your own stuff? Don't you want it to last?

People who shoot down others for enjoying something. It doesn't matter if I'm interested in the thing personally or not, if it makes someone happy I will listen to them talk about it. So it bugs me to see people tear someone else down when they just want to enjoy something.

I already struggle with talking to people normally, so don't cut me off or talk over me. It's frustrating and just makes me not want to talk to anyone.

People who ask for my opinion on something, and then blatantly ignore it. Why did you ask if you didn't want to know?

I don't mind messy people, but I prefer to keep my personal space clean and organized... so just repect that please. Don't go mess it up for no reason.

I just want someone I can be best friends with. But like... we cuddle as a bonus. Someone I can hang out and have fun with. We enjoy each other's company, and do romantic stuff on the side.

Lucky you! Raven really likes animals too - as long as they don’t munch on his flowers and plants - plus he’s partly a rivoli hummingbird.

While we are talking about Raven being part bird: Preening! Preening and touching each other’s wings is a very important and loving thing in the bird based side of the monster kind. It’s something family, friends and mates do for each other. Brush and touch his wings with your fingers softly, you’ll get a very sleepy birb on your hands. It’s the perfect time to ask him about his bird qualities while you’re preening him, because that way he can point out and show how it all works.

Expect him to look real smug while he wows you by lighting up the intricate patterns in his wings. Those glowing patterns are used to attract a mate, so you’ll be the only one who Raven will show this to.

He will return your preening by brushing your hair and braiding pretty flowers in it. Doesn’t matter if you have long or short hair, with his nimble and long phalanges he can do magic.

You’re taller than Raven (since he’s 147cm/4.9 feet) and he’s quite light with many of his hollow bones around the wing area so you have one great portable boyfriend! Just pick him up or carry him, he loves it. He gets flustered the first few times you do it.

Raven doesn’t mind that you’re sensitive and emotional, he himself is quite sensitive - he often tears up when watching a movie even if he sometimes halfheartedly tries to deny it. He does like your sarcastic quips and reactions, though sometimes when it isn’t very evident, he can get confused, wondering if what you just said was serious or sarcasm. So expect a questioning head tilt every now and again.

He gets so goddamn happy when you’re genuinely interested about his love for exploring. But watch out, if you’re too curious about it he’ll one day take you with him while he flies around to explore. Don’t worry Raven is quite strong, and if you’re still worried he can use magic to help out. The only thing you’ll have to be concerned about is how fast and agile he is in the air. You’ll have to shout at him to fly calmer and to not be so fast.

On the plus side, you’ll be able to see him do a sleepy belly flop after a whole day of flying.

Raven is a picky eater too, but he’s one of those guys that shares his food as one of his love languages. So be prepared to be offered pieces of his own food. Maybe this will be a great way to find new dishes you enjoy, or not. If you don’t want the offered food just say so.

Once you’re further along in your relationship and he trusts you a lot his tongue will flick out way more than usual which makes it more noticeable. His tongue is long and forked which will flick out when he’s near food, flowers or something delicious, he can’t control this when he’s not focused on it. So expect to get your cheek graced by a flickering tongue within a microsecond. Raven can’t help it! You’re his mate and you smell delicious! He’s very embarrassed and insecure about it so please be gentle with him around that topic.

Raven likes your voice, it’s very relaxing to listen to so you’ll never hear him complain if you start talking to yourself out loud. He will go quiet and listen attentively while you talk about things you enjoy. He loves to spend time with you, it doesn’t have to be something together, he just likes being in your presence. He’s not that good at video games, he ends up spam tapping/clicking every button. But he enjoys watching you though.

Raven treasures the gifts you give him dearly, he coos and thrills whenever you give him something, followed by a loving appreciative nuzzle. He got his nest and room filled with the gifts you’ve given him. Raven in return will make you flower crowns and flower wreaths with flowers that have special meanings that translate how much he adores you, and encouraging messages.

This simp will leave you little post it notes with sweet words of encouragement when he has to leave for something.

1. Are you named after anyone?

My middle name is after my great grandmother, and I hate it. I was bullied for it a lot in high school (being gay and with short blonde hair at the time certainly didn’t help) and I don’t care much for the person it comes from either. I’m thinking about changing it, but I’m not sure what I’d change it to. Still thinking about it.

2. When was the last time you cried?

I think I cried like two days ago? I think it might have been because people were being nice to me tbh. But I cry like. A lot. It’s how I cope with The Agonies. 😌

3. Do you have kids?

Nah, and I don’t plan on having any. Not for me. :)

4. Do you use sarcasm?

Literally every day of my stupid little life.

5. What’s the first thing you notice about people?

This is tough. I’m quite shy irl. Usually their smile! Or lack thereof. And then their ✨vibe✨

6. What’s your eye colour?

I think there’s a term for what I have, but idk what it is. They’re blue/grey around the edges and then brownish/hazel closer to the pupil. Very similar to what Rhys Darby has? I usually just say grey :)

7. Scary movies or happy endings?

Not really! Maybe sculpting? I haven’t gotten my hands on clay in years, but I was pretty good at it when I had the chance.

In the hospital about 30 minutes away from me.

Yes! I have a cat named Chester (we call him Chippie. Chester is his full name and is reserved for when he’s in trouble.)

None of these are my pets, but in my house we also have another cat (Bug), four dogs (Boone, Bailey, Tequila, Poppy), a goldfish (Stink), and three axolotls (Snap, Crackle and Pop).

I have a knee condition in both knees so I don’t do sports anymore but! I used to play a lot of soccer and basketball. :)
