This is the first death that I actually considered reversing because I was a little invested in Pepperback, but I decided to let it happen. In my head this is the first death that actually hit the whole of LarchClan hard, and not just one or two cats.

I think I’m going to do allegiances again because quite a few cats changed traits, I think possibly due to the update, so expect that!

This family tree has been on the making for at least 3 years now which kind of shows but whatever.  My plan was to make one of this for each of my fan clans (there are 5 of those) but, seeing how much time it took me to finish this one I am reconsidering it. I really don't have that much free time.

Anyway, this is Seaclan, the fisher clan that lives by the Sea. In this clan blue and cream furs are the most typical. Colorpoint is also quite common as legend say this trait first appeared when Winter fell in love with Seaclan’s founder. The children born from this union bore Winter’s colors, white at first and darkening as they aged. Ever since then this trait is considered lucky and a symbol of great beauty making it desirable. In order to avoid inbreeding, a system based on allowing new blood to enter the clan periodically is used. This allows for monarchs to choose reproductive partners outside their clan’s boundaries, although they would not be a part of their offspring’s lives. Meaning: Seaclanners can choose to reproduce with any other clanner for as long as this relationship does not develop into a romantic one (love relationships between warriors of different clans are indeed punished by their warrior code) or choose to reproduce with any of the outsider groups such as the Storytellers, The Worshipers of the Deep or loners. This is why there's so many outsiders in this family tree.

Treestar's weak leg is sore Avalanchebeetle wakes up one leg less than they went to sleep with, and it's both upsetting and a relief. Their leg was so mangled and Avalanchebeetle in so much pain, that this might be for the best. but it's still a loss (younger sprite to show the leg loss)

Patrols

While searching for some specific herbs Deino is startled by weird sounds and whispers on the wind. The sounds die away and start up again in strange, unpredictable intervals. investigating, Deino suddenly finds a panting, bleeding queen desperately trying to keep their newborns quiet. Deino brings the queen back to camp where the Clan can assist

Ibispaw is blind in one eye due to a fox attack when he was younger. Formerly a rogue, he joined the clans and is going through her apprentice training to become a full warrior. He is one of the kindest cats in the clans, always going out of his way to be sweet to others. He is abundantly optimistic, and a great cat to be around.

Personality: whimsical, egoistical, shallow, egocentric and easily angered cat. Ibispaw loves complaining about everything; not anything not anyone is good enough for her. All she cares about is her own good, she firmly believes that everyone around her solely exists to serve her. She can get extremely mad if someone does something she doesn’t like. She is pretty shallow and only befriends cats that she finds attractive or powerful enough. She is also obsessed with being unique; she wants to become a –whisker since that is not a common suffix in Seaclan.

Story:

Kit- She was born alongside Goosepaw, Heronpaw and Cranepaw to Ashclaw and Dewspots tough she was raised up by Olivefang and Dewspots. Every cat considered her really cute and charming so the great amount of compliments she received turned her into a really vain cat While Olivefang tried to convince her that her behavior was not right, Dewspots would continue flattering and spoiling her. Heronpaw’s adulations did not help her at all only making her go worse by day. She would constantly brag to Goosepaw and Cranepaw too. Surprisingly enough, one day, when she was swimming in shallow waters, a really weak fish, that had probably escaped from another predator, landed on her paws. Heronpaw couldn’t be more amazed.

Apprentice- She was given Otterstar as her mentor. She was ecstatic, the clan leader was her mentor so she had now been proved as better than any apprentice (Otterstar was chosen as her mentor for two reason, the first and most obvious one was because he needed an apprentice in order to be accepted by his clan as leader and the second one was so Ibispaw could learn some manners and humility without bursting her little bubble too much. If it wasn’t because Otterstar desperately needed an apprentice, she probably would have been handed to Rainpath who is much more experienced). Her relationship with Otterstar isn’t the best but he is one of the only cats she sincerely listens to, the other being her own mother. Otterstar tries to let her see that, if she cared for others a bit, she would be much more loved but Ibispaw doesn’t seem to understand it. She only hangs out with Heronpaw and, sometimes, with Goosepaw. She actually loves listening to Heronpaw’s stories tough she will never admit it. It is her dream to become the best hunter her clan has ever seen, however, she isn’t too good at hunting, she’s too loud.  Her sister Cranepaw loves her a lot and she is worried about what may happen to her if she continues with this behavior. Goosepaw can’t understand why her sister says so many ugly things to her but she doesn’t really care; Goosepaw’s mentor, Shellclaw, thinks that Ibispaw is a bad influence for her. Lampreytail is giving her extra classes so she can become better at hunting, tough it is not going too good since Ibispaw throws a tantrum every time she fails. Dewspots loves complementing everything she does and Olivefang is trying to make her understand that her attitude will leave her completely alone at one point or another.

Since my christmas break started yesterday and I changed Ibispaw’s fur color (apparently an ibis and an egret are not the same thing… so she now looks like a glossy ibis instead of an egret cause it was easier to fix her fur than her name) I decided to post this drawing again!

OOC: Decided to try something new, I’ve seen people do this and it seems fun so tell me if you like it! I may answer any character related question like this from now on!

What’s their favorite huntingspot?

Dewspots – Hunting spot, uh? Well, myfavorite hunting spot has to be the rock pools. You see, Ashclaw, he… he used totake me there a lot. He used to be a really romantic cat, who would say, uh?.He started noticing me right there, after I gave a Duneclan warrior the frightof his life… We were really young back then, and I was stupid if you forgive mywording. Ashclaw was really impressed by my fighting skills. Of course, mybreaking up with that son of a Nacan can’t make me love that place any less.

It is a fantastic hunting spot afterall; fish naturally get trapped there after the sea moves away from the coast.Catching fish and little crabs there is as easy as eating is for a kittypet. Ofcourse, the place is as beautiful as me too~ at night time, it shines as if hissiruswere playing there.

I used to take Lampreytail there alot too, when he was younger he would get sick easily… the warm temperaturesand the sea breeze used to work really well on him.  I should go there with my girls more often…

Olivefang – my favorite hunting spotare the bird marshes and the olive forest. I am both skilled at hunting andfishing, so it is only natural that I have a favorite land spot and a favoritewater spot.

The bird marshes do not only allow meto catch large and small fish, they also allow me to track and hunt down biggerprey, like ducks. They are a difficult catch and I do need help to keep such abig bird under control but I love the rush of pride that comes after giving thequeens and elders such a big prey.

The olive forest is a really important placefor Seaclan, not only is it a sacred place but also one of the most proliferousplace in Seaclan. Hares, mice, voles, all kind of birds… Hares always leave theelders in camp with a full belly so I always give them a try, I don’t care ifthey are risky to catch alone, the clan must be fed. I always take some time topray and show my gratitude under the sacred olive… may brother Lynx hear myprayers and keep Seaclan safe.

The rock pools are good too… fish iseasy to catch there even if blood must be spilled from time to time to keepthose lands under our dominance. Dewspots seems to enjoy them too. Whatevermakes her happy, makes me happy too.

What’s their favorite season?

Dewspots – Warm-sun, no doubt! Everythinglooks so pretty~ I was born during warm-sun too, my mother, Morningspots, namedme after the dew that was left by the poppies every morning… That’s how mysiblings got their names too, Poppyfur after these poppies and Cuckoonose afterthe small Cuckoo that would wake her up every morning. This season brought lifeto my little bird paws too, my beautiful girls, Cranepaw, Ibispaw, Goosepaw andHeronpaw. They are such a blessing. And Olivefang first confessed her feelingfor me last warm-sun! she was so flustered! She is quite the shy cat sometimes~We spent the whole season hunting together and enjoying the warm sun~

Olivefang – A tough choice. Warm-sunbrings full bellies, birth and good memories, my confession to Dewspots, thebirth of Dewspots’ offspring, my warrior naming ceremony… but then, it isduring Cold-sun where the thanking ceremony is held up. We all gather under TheSacred Olive to give thanks to Brother Lynx. Through their sacrifice, we got thebiggest gift and blessing, fertility. Cold-sun may be harder than any other season but italso brings Seaclan closer than ever and it is only when the Sun sleeps thatLoonar’s face shines brighter, it is the time when she keeps a closer eye onall of us. Malmet may dance between us during this time, bringing calamity anddeath with her, but we all know she is merciful and brings peace to those whocan no longer be with us guiding them through the skies until they nest byLoanar’s dark pelt. Malmet’s Son comes with her too… it is a time of remembrancewhen those who died young come to protect us. Oh! Palefeather was born duringCold-sun too, weren’t them? I can’t choose a favorite, choosing betweenhonoring my gods and keeping my clan safe is a choice I hope I must never make.

Personality: Mature, motherly, responsible, reliable, dedicated and crafty cat. Cranepaw is the most responsible and mature out of all her sisters. She acts like an older sister to them all; since this can be a lot of work she gets overwhelmed from time to time tough she never lets anyone see it. She is a really reliable cat and her sisters and friends all trust her with their lives. She loves being with younger cats tough she still doesn’t know if in a –path way (mentoring) or a –flower way (being mother). She would love to be mother one day but she doesn’t know if she would be a good –flower. She is extremely crafty too; when the time to cleaning and fixing dens comes in, she shows great skill in it building some great dens.

Story:

She loved going with Heronpaw to listen to the elders and seer and, surprisingly, has a close relationship with Palefeather since then.  

Apprentice: She is being mentored by Privetcloud. He was chosen as her mentor because Cranepaw needs to learn how to stop worrying about everyone else and have a good time for herself from time to time. Privetcloud is the perfect cat for this since he knows about the responsibilities of having to care for your family while still being a playful and cheerful cat that knows when to have time for himself. Dewspots always considered her the older one in the litter and, not knowing it, has always made her take more responsibilities than the rest of her sisters which, in some cases, have ended with Cranepaw being a stressed train wreck. She has a close relationship with all of her sisters even though Ibispaw and Heronpaw can be pretty cruel to her. She has a close relationship with Mustardpaw; she has some problems learning battle moves and Mustardpaw is always there to help her when she needs it. Olivefang loves going out to fish with her and she takes pride in Cranepaw’s relationship with Palefeather too. She usually hangs out with her brother Lampreytail when she feels too stressed; Lampreytail is always there to listen to her and care for her for a change. She is often found with Storkpelt too; she loves taking care of her new offspring. She still visits Palefeather from time to time and loves listening to them.
