first of all i gotta tell you that im enjoying this ask twice as much cause i got multiple spam asks since yesterday and did not expect an actual question... anyway. im gonna answer this 200% in earnest, as it should be, obviously (yes i actually did write this out, strap in ig)

red: listen i know everyones favorite color seems to be blue for some reason but red is RIGHT THERE. i heard somewhere that not all languages differentiate the same colors as english (and other european languages), but the first color after light/dark there will be a word for is usually red. idk if thats true but seems plausible, cause yknow whats red? fuckin berries to eat, also blood (either concerning or also to eat, ig). cavepeople knew red was important business. also its pretty and you use it to make pink.

blue: not to imply that blue isnt also good. its got a range. looks very fresh. i do like a teal-ish blue but others are cool also. its really rare in nature ig? but if it does occur its looks rly good! (im saying this rn cause my desktop wallpaper has blue flowers lmao) also if i had a cent for every time i had dreams with intense, seemingly really significant blue night skies, i'd have 2 cents, which isnt much but weird etc etc.

green: ok i like green but, unpopular opinion time, i want neither a green couch nor a green kitchen. i want a pink couch and a blue kitchen. that being said green fucks and is part of some iconic things, such as HES GEEN, and also my favorite song green soop by dooboo, which references the fact that soups can be green (@geminyde)

yellow: finally yellow is super underappreciated. im kinda mad that yellow doesnt suit me super well in clothes cause theres so many cool yellow things id want on a shirt. people only ever think of bright neon yellow but it also had SHADES.

now, the shapes. people at art school will try to convince you that these have some deeper meaning and even a gender (??) cause some guy whose name i forgot claimed they do and thats bs. heres the actual truth about them. triangle pointy. also an instrument! theyre really flexible cause they can have wildly different angles and like?? thats different from squares, which are literally all the same, except for size ig? but thats nice it gives them a sense of stability. theyre ol reliable. ever wonder why they had town squares but never town triangles? well,

anyway the circle is most definitely the princess of shapes. you might think its really basic compared to like uhh a trapezoid or whatever cause you learn about it in kindergarten, but its so fucked up it has ZERO angles?? but then if you wanna render it its got a huge amount of angles/into infinity instead? you can calculate any shapes area with basic maths basically but ohh noo not the circle. its soo special. we love that for him but you gotta be honest.

ngl i had to look up what a rhombus is and its just idk a Raute ig. its a rectangle who wants to be special. which is fine we all need some attention sometime but like, its a rectangle on its side. its doing its own thing. i think it should have a different english name tho tbh. rhombus reminds me of the name rhonda and that has a different vibe. idk if that one was also a question or just an addition tbh but there u go

Lizards have only saved me like twice even AFTER i befriended them. king vultures and reg vultures are in my top favorite creatures also: pole plants and tentacle plants are very underrated. Such a beautiful and interesting concept that goes underappreciated. Im gonna put soo many tentacle plants in my modded region bro theyre beautiful and make you think. did you know that if youre careful enough that you can sneak my tentacle plants without alerting them? its much easier to do in water, especially that large water section in shaded citadel.

i think intuition plays a big part! i tend to be very interested in how a game feels, what the ~vibe~ is, how the mechanics of the game serve the stated purpose / story its telling, and i think when writing a game from that angle a lot of it is going off of intuition and then refining it later on.

now that im thinking about it im not sure how id design a game non-intuitively. anyone who does this pls tell me how it works im very interested

Justice — How importance is game balance to you? OR How personal are your games?

im gonna answer the second one here cause i dont have too many thoughts abt game balance at the moment, check back after i write my fantasy heartbreaker in 5 years (joke this is a joke i dont even have a fantasy heartbreaker planned please dont call one down upon me)

but my games are super personal! kinda same with above im not sure how i could create a game that wasnt personal in some aspect, theyre my art. itd be interesting to try though.

that being said, some are more personal than others. body^3 has a lot more to say about me than i am (not) mothman does. before the flood isnt out quite yet, but its full of my friendship with sylvan and others in our friend group.

in fact, to give yall a lil peek of the game, theres a role in it called Nation, which represents the forces of humanity. and Nation uses a modified version of the dice game farkle, a game which i played for the first time sitting across from Sylvan at a diner when i flew to visit them and a bunch of our friends at their college right before they graduated.

its kinda a game made from those kinds of stories, which i think is what happens when you make something with a friend.

aura from superboy and the ravers,, shes just a great character thank you women. listen i am weak to the initially rude but deeply caring characters and she is simply sick as hell. also danny temple from robin 93 bring my guy back they dropped all that weird backstory and did nothing with him afterwards.. he and tim had such a fun dynamic he was actually interesting and he figured out tims identity (not that it was hard) which could have been soo fun to play around with

edit: i didnt put lonnie here at first bc i wasnt sure how unpopular he is but i think its safe to say hes pretty damn underappreciated (esp since even when his character Is in other dc media its..... not good) so yes lonnie machin too. bc he is my anarchist bestie with so many issues and i love him dearly. there is genuinely so little of lonnie comics to read u can do it in like three days

soo ep4 huh? i’m kinda freaking out about that sex scene. it was hot ngl and the way kinn was trying to control himself but he couldn’t!! I mean same I also wouldn’t be able to control myself around Porsche. it’s not ideal that it happened when p was drugged but it’s still better than the novel I guess. I’m scared how he will react when he wakes up tho. I hope he won’t regret it too much, I don’t want it to feel more r*pey than it already is. 1/2

2/2 and vegas??? man I love a good villain and he’s so good so far!! that last shot of him naked is just insane!! I can’t wait to see more of him. and kim??? I fell in love the moment he came on screen. I loved the change in his personality when he was with porchay and with big. also what is he investigating? did I miss something in the previous episodes? I forgot what else I wanted to talk about but yeah it was a great episode!!

oh boy oh boy i could write a whole meta on the intricacies of that scene and the microexpressions from the both of them. and you're right, it was definitely dubcon because porsche was drugged nobody can doubt that. one of the best and most underappreciated parts of the whole ending scene is porsche literally headbutting vegas when he tries to bite him and leave his mark like a freak. i think it was a good scene to reiterate that porsche still had some agency, he wasn't powerless or passive as some people like to make him out to sound during it

my favourite part of the whole thing is that tiny little smile porsche tries to hide against kinn's shoulder before he gets turned around and pressed up against the window like 🥺🥺 boy is so giddy. and the way they established that kinn doesn't kiss people but cant help himself when he's around porsche. the fact he kissed him properly like four times and then we got so many shots of him kissing his neck and chest and stomach he literally cannot keep his mouth off of him hes so whipped its insane

as far as regretting it goes, i dont think that'll be much of a huge issue personally? i think the issues will stem from kinn feeling guilty and his father pointing out that porsche failed his task and then kinn slept with him. we've seen a few times now just how much influence korn has on kinn. from the way he chastisied him in episode one and made him keep trying to recruit porsche, kinn really looks up to his father despite everything and to have him be so reprimanding like that is gonna mess with is head a bit

yes yes kim!!! i feel like kim has 3 different personalities that he uses as a shield around people. obviously the way he acted around porchay and the other fans was as his stage persona wik (literally kim backwards i hate this whole ass family) where he's more smiley and carefree and kind to people. then there's the way he acts around his bodyguards like big, the way he's so dismissive of them and doesn't seem to care or even want to care about their opinions. like when big told him about his suspicions of porsche and he just shrugged him off and dismissed him like it was nothing. and then there's the more charming persona that we'll probably see next episode. the one he'll start using on porchay so he can learn more about porsche. and tbh, i dont even think he realises which personality feels most like him anymore. he's stuck in a loop of pretending that i really hope porchay helps drag him out of

and im convinced somewhere alon the way we'll end up getting a scene of porchay discovering his kim-spiracy board, probably by accident (bcs seriously who puts their big investigation board behind a massive picture of themselves this family is insane) which will cause a lot of angst and tension in their relationship and like, i wonder if that's the reason we see porchay crying in the trailer? porsche about to beat up his step brother for hurting him deadass

and the investigation board!!! i dont think anything's concrete yet, but im assuming it has something to do with kim trying to figure out who the mole is and like, when you think about it it's kind of heartbreaking. kinn telling porsche in the sauna scene that it feels like he doesn't have a brother anymore because he never sees him, but secretly kim is doing all this work to try and keep kinn and his family safe he just wont admit it to anyone so kinn doesn't know everything he does for him 🥺

i was talking with bianca and asher about this the other day and seeing porsche and porchay's pictures on the board so close to the right side which was all about the murders got me thinking about their parents and how, maybe, one of the families had something to do with their deaths? lowkey it could explain korn's interest in porsche if he either a) feels like he has a debt to them, or b) wants to recruit him to wrap him up in the lifestyle so he literally wont be able to report them for what happened with his parents because he's too wrapped up in it too now

bonus points if, obviously, kinn doesn't know anything about it and it becomes a point of tension between him and his father but, more importantly, a source of angst between him and porsche because porsche is under the impression that kinn knew - how could he not know, he's the son in charge of the theerapanyakul legacy he has to know. it would be such good angst i would eat that shit up with my bare hands bestie

I am in fact one of those people who just like posts and don't comment but I realize how good it feels to comment and liking a post doesn't express how much I love your work!! I've reread your Megumi x Reader x Yuuji fics TONS OF TIMES. They are my favs, and your well-constructed Yuuji x reader posts are soo good! My favorite is Birthday Boy, idk I just love the mix of praise and appreciation/worship with the scenes. Like I could FEEL the love. Sleeping Beauty was something of its own if generally was a plot twist to me. I WAS SO CONFUSED ABOUT WHY YUUJI WASNT SAD AND THEN THE ENDING? LIKE FULL-ON SHOCK. It did kinda hurt my heart with readers' insecurities. This post was one of those things where I had to close Tumblr and just sit and think about it. LIKE IT WAS BIZZARE TO ME. I felt so so bad like it felt like her life was taken away just to sit on a bed all day. I also love this combo of Sakuna and Yuuji!!

Aww thank you for this long ask!! I am really glad that you reached out and also said that you want to comment on fics in the future. This helps writers so much! A few kind words or some screaming in the tags already makes me feel much better about my stories. And a long comment with an analysis and some favorite parts is something that makes me squeal with joy and sometimes even cry happy tears! I take screenshots of those comments and save them in my writing folders because they mean so much to me.

I'm so happy that you like the Megumi x Reader x Yuuji fics so much! I was unsure at first whether people would read it because I always let my boys kiss and have sex with each other too, and I wasn't sure the character x reader fandom would want to read that. So it was a risk, but I am happy to hear that those are some fics people really liked!

And aww Birthday Boy is something where I put all my love for Yuuji into, so it makes me very happy that you say you could feel the love!!

Omgggg it's been ages since I got feedback on Sleeping Beauty!! Thank you so much!! It's definitely not the typical Yuuji fic, and usually, I don't like writing dark things like that, BUT it was a lot of fun to think of a way Yuuji's caring and sweet character could turn into something twisted. I felt so guilty while writing it because it goes against anything I see in Yuuji!! But on the other hand, it was super interesting to take that prompt and find a way to make it work for Yuuji. And so I came up with a version of what could happen if Yuuji got influenced by someone else and tricked into thinking he would do what's best for you. Because the things he does in that fic are still done out of love. A dark version of love, so to speak. I actually think about this story quite often. It fucks with my mind because sometimes I catch myself thinking the same things reader and Yuuji thought: Wouldn't it be nice to have no responsibilities and know that Yuuji will always be there to take care of you? Ahhhhhhhhhh it scares me!!

Lmao sorry that I talk so much about my own stories, but I am really really invested in them, and I love it when someone reaches out!! I am really happy that you decided to break the silence! <3

Finally getting around to do my complete MA2 listen on its birthday.

Bones is a pretty good opener imo. The like, little intro sound definitely fits as an intro sound. Overall it's a pretty good song as well, not my fave tho. Still think it's crazy this song is at 800 million streams after a little over a year. Music video is also top tier.

I didn't really appreciate Symphony that well on the first few listens. I definitely really like it now. It's such a feel good song but such a stark contrast to what most of the album is about. I still think the whole saying the instrument and then hearing thing is cool as well

I remember the whole ARG with Sharks. How I was trying my utter best to solve it with the Discord and then when I finally decided to sleep it was solved lol. I absolutely loved it on first listen. Probably like it a little less now tho still a good one.

I don't like myself, damn. Firstly the instrumentation is like really good on this. The whole beat is very catchy. I really thank Wayne for being like, "no Dan this should be on the album." Because I love it and it's something I can relate to. The lyrics hit hard even when ....

They're a little repetitive. I feel maybe the repetitiveness fits this song quite well. Even at the end. Especially "I've got so much more to live for, than what you think of me." Is sooo hard hitting.

Blur, my absolute beloved. Fun fact I cried to this song once when I was feeling very bad lol. But once again, the lyrics are soooo relatable. And I feel like this song has gone underappreciated in the whole "not a real guitar discussion."

Higher Ground! I like this song so much. It's sooo like sort of intense in the sense that the

chorus straight up makes me feel powerful. Also the "I am the witness, the genesis, the reason" and everything around that part is soooo good. And then the small part where...

Instrumentation sorta stops and the only extra sounds behind the main vocals are echoing back vocals. That's such a cool part to me.

Crushed.... So fucking sad I cannot stop crying to it especially since the music video got released.

A lot of people don't like the vocals but to me it just so clearly shows the desperation. I feel like people are used by very hard powerful vocals by Dan but this is just as beautiful.

Take it Easy is so interesting. I really didn't like it at first. It's still not a fave but I've learned to appreciate it more. I specifically like the instrumentation at the end. I just think it sounds a little much like a demo. Imo it would've been cool to hear a complete.....

Song with the instrumentation near the end. Like genuinely I really like that just not much of the rest.

Waves, I'll be bawling my eyes out! It's such an ugh sad song and especially today it hits even harder. The lyrics here are so well well written as well imo. Example: "Driving through the prime of your life" while referencing a car crash is very clever imo...

Also the "oh, I was singing in the prime of my life" hits sooo hard. Then going to near the end of the song where the music dies down and then gets going again is also such a cool moment to me. The song was sadly ruined for some people by the whole "plottwist" debacle and I...

Hate that so much cuz the song does not deserve that at all.

I'm Happy - ahhhh "What's wrong with me? Is there somebody else inside my head that doesn't want me to be happy." Feels like a lot of what I personally feel finally put into words. It's sooo nice. The only thing I don't really like is the bridge but the instrumental in it is nice

Ferris Wheel arrgh. I'm not one for love songs usually but this one is soo sweet and generally just makes me sooo sad. I don't have much to comment on it, I just think it's a very sweet song and very well done.

The start of Peace of Mind sounds like a broken record. Not calling it POM cuz tb to when Dan heard people were calling it that lol. Anyway, it's an interesting song. I like it example:

"Everything is meaningless, at least that's how it feels, feels real bad" hits hard..

And I'm not sure why. I guess this song just also really resonates with me. I can maybe see why someone might think it's weird lyrics or just a weird song. But it just fits with me and that's what matters to me

Only near the end "then you came into my life" like bro where is my person smh.

Sirens! Sirens! Sirens! Everything about this song hits. This should always be listened to with headphones as loud as possible. It just scratches my brain so good. The instrumentation is really good the lyrics are also relatable. Like as someone that sometimes genuinely feels..

Like there's sirens in my mind. And the "I just wanna be good again, I want to make it to the end" argh I'm gonna scream its soo good. It's so nice and calming in a way. I could listen to it on a loop for ages.

Tied is also a really good song. It's well done it's just unfortunate what happened after. And also something else on a personal level. As said it's by no means a bad song but it's not a song for me particularly. Still very beautiful.

Younger! Such a good song. Please bring it back on tour! It's like that song that low-key gives you summer vibes ya know? The whole song feels like it's being held back a little however it's like waiting for the break which does happen obviously...

And it's with a Wayne guitar solo so I will not complain. Actually the whole leading up to the guitar solo is in a very nice way. The only thing I also have with the song is that the force field like is low-key cringe but also real so

I Wish is such a heart breaking song. I personally dislike the placement of it on the album but aside from that I haven't got many complaints. The emotion in Dan's voice is very clear and the laid back instrumental fits it very well.

The "Oh I always too busy, no I didn't make the time." Is soo sad as well. Throughout the whole album you can hear Dan's regret and mourning so well. And it definitely brings out a lot of empathy. Also personally I like the end picking up a few strings.

Continual, so many people claim it as the worst ID song while I do not agree. I think people are heavily influenced by it being a feature and maybe a genre they're not completely into. It's by no means a bad song and actually a very well polished song....

It's far from my favorite on Mercury but it does not deserve the hate it gets, at all. Also aside from being a master at Organs. Cory Henry also has a beautiful voice that very much has to be said.

They don't know you like I do is the perfect album closer. It fits the usual 'long(ish) song'. The song is absolutely heartbreaking and such a sad way to send the album but also just a very good way....

It tells a story in like some form of chronogical order very well while still being a song. The end of the second verse is absolutely heartbreaking and sooo fucking powerful

The da da da's at the end are often seen as bad by many people but I personally find them super fitting. To me it's always seemed like a "Welp, this is it" and with that a great way to end an album.

blorbo (favorite character, character I think about the most) Chidi!! I found his neurotic nature rather relatable a lot of the time, and I really liked his whole arc of realizing that being completely morally upright is pretty much impossible, and that a lot of the time there is no ‘right’ decision to make if that makes sense. Seeing him loosen up, realize how much life he was missing out on, and gaining confidence (”shut up! i’m confident now!”) was such a great experience i like him <3 Plus he’s attractive c’mon

scrunkly (my “baby”, character that gives me cuteness aggression, character that is So Shaped) ...Michael. Listen I know he’s an older white man. And a demon. But I think he’s very cute :)

scrimblo bimblo (underrated/underappreciated fave) Hmm, maybe Tahani? I feel like compared to the others in the main cast she’s not as popular.

glup shitto (obscure fave, character that can appear in the background for 0.2 seconds and I won’t shut up about it for a week) Simone :) I really enjoyed the screen time she had, especially with seeing her more cynical side when she was in the “”Good”” Place.

1. Have you ever used melatonin to help you sleep? Yeah, but honestly if I’m going to use some sort of sleeping aid I’d prefer to just have cup of Sleepytime tea instead.

2. Are you as pumped as I am for Dexter’s 6th season to premiere? If not, what IS a show you’re excited for? I never got into Dexter, but my mom is super excited for its return. As for me, I’m looking forward to American Horror Story: Double Feature and the new Chucky TV series. I’m also wondering when You and Euphoria are coming back.

3. When was the last time you felt overworked? I’ve definitely been feeling overwhelmed, but as for overworked I haven’t been doing much to feel that way in awhile.

I haven’t listened to the radio in a long time, but there’s been a few select songs that keep getting stuck in my head lately for some reason. One of them is “Chains” by Nick Jonas. There’s been a few other random ones as well.

14. I know someone with a pet squirrel. Do you find this odd or would you love to have one? >> It's not odd to me, but I'm not very fond of the idea of keeping all these random typically-wild animals as pets. <<< I do find it odd and yeah I agree.

15. What’s the longest shift you have ever worked? If you don’t have a job, what’s the longest shift you think you could endure? I’ve never had a job, but given my current situation with my health and other things that would make it hard for me to work right now I could maaaaybe do a half day. 

16. Is there a song you’re surprised your significant other (or best friend) likes? What is it? I know I’ve thought that about some songs but of course I’m blanking at the moment.

17. Would you rather watch Jeopardy or Wheel of Fortune? Both can be entertaining to watch. I like trivia and word games. 

18. What do you think of Jo Calderone, Lady Gaga’s male alter-ego? I don’t know anything about that somehow? At least I don’t remember anyway. Huh.

19. I’ve known my best friend since kindergarten. We’re now 21. :) What’s the longest you’ve known your best friend for? My best friend is my mom, so we’re going on 32 years now.

20. Remember Midget Mac from I Love New York? Yes. I used to watch all those reality TV shows.

21. What’s the least amount of money you’ve ever spent on a car? If you don’t have one, you may refer to your parent’s car. I don’t drive, so I’ve never bought or even driven a car. I don’t know how much my parents paid for their cars.

22. If you liked Britney Spears in the 90s, do you still like her now? I still like some of her songs. She hasn’t had new music out in awhile for obvious reasons, soo.

23. I have no upper body strength. What part of your body is the weakest? I’ve been struggling with that the past few months as well due to health reasons. Like I have to be helped into the car, into bed, pushed around (I can around the house and like the store, but I tire so easily now and need help depending on where I am and how much wheeling I’m doing), etc now and I didn’t used to. I used to be active and had great upper body strength as a paraplegic relying solely on that. I’m so weak now. :/ I hate that I have to be so dependent now. Anyway, speaking of paraplegic and to answer this question I obviously have zero lower body strength. 

24. How long can you hold it if you really have to pee? It depends? It depends.

25. When’s the last time you called in, whether for work or school? If you can remember, what was the reason? I missed classes sometimes in college if I wasn’t feeling well, just wasn’t up for it that day, or had a legit reason and knew I could get away with missing that day by checking what was going on in the syllabus. I didn’t make a habit of it or do it a lot, though. I never understood the ones who only came on exam days like what??
