i wonder if my mom gets jealous of how comfortable i am with auntie sis.

and. other thoughts.

like how lucky Jade is to have balance and a 2-parent household. and she goes to the best school in accra. she lives in airport hills. she is cultured and well-traveled. is it good to see your father living in his mother’s house like this?

everything takes time and stefen is also learning, but i think jade and i could relate on the whole “too young to be my dad” thing. more than she would think. Naana has done very well is offsetting that imbalance and preventing instability. she’s an excellent example of a young mother. 

i will say that my mom is just very weary and defensive of how people can use money against her, plus in her eyes, her mother never amounted to much. but then again, i consider her inability to look past material wealth a flaw. she’s very about sharing and not leaving anyone behind and she’s v kindhearted, but make no mistake she’s also got a superiority complex.

tbh i dont blame Sweetie for not coming back. it’s sad, but i definitely feel her.

i wish she would be as unconditionally accepting as my dad is. i’m actually blessed to have a dad that loves me as unconditionally as mine does. blessed to have had his mother and her sister in my life

i dont know why it didnt trickle down to my mother. 

well-im sure it did, but her issues make it hard to feel.
