I saw the neefa talks tag and I went SHE HAS ANOTHER BLOG?! and instantly followed lmao. I’m so bad about keeping up with tumblr lately (pure laziness, some depression, and also being all too involved with my sims blog lately) lmao but it’s like something inside me ALWAYS KNOWS when something HnR is happening and I show up and LO AND BEHOLD THERE IT IS! lmao *____________* AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH this is wonderful!!!!!! I’m really happy for him ;A; (and also because it’s such a good writing move for her part; I’ve heard a lot of bad things about her new manga so I’m happy to see lmao she still is capable of doing something well ;A;) LIKE!!!!! ;A; IDK SHISHIO REALLY NEEDED TO BE ABLE TO FINALLY MOVE ON AND WITH SOMEONE HE’S SO COMPATIBLE WITH CRIES IT’S SO WONDERFUL. (Also I just love love LOVE any time she does something with HnR like… I just want to keep getting cute little side stories, maybe a cute Shishio/Samejima josei forever. Like updates about the friends how are they doing? lmao I guess truly the one thing I can never let go of is HnR :333 (and all the wonderful friends and community I gained through it :333)

Honestly my whole life I hella identified as a nerd but now I’d saw.... none, tbh? Not like, in a forsaking nerds kind of way, either. I’m not actually sure how to explain this lmao but I guess I just don’t feel as strongly in that way? I guess mostly because I feel like I’m more just just one thing~~? If that makes any sense? lmao 

Island Paradise: Have you ever been snorkeling or scuba diving?

No but I’d LOVE to! idk about scuba diving - I feel like I might get that weird kind of claustrophobia that you get not in small spaces but vast ones that STILL feel like you’re claustrophobic? But it’d be such a cool experience. Snorkeling would be so cool, though!

Movie Stuff: What is your favorite movie?

I am SO bad at picking fave movies - mostly cos I’m really bad at keeping up with anything and also cos I seldom rewatch things like a loser. THAT SAID, Clueless, 10 Things I Hate About You, and Legally blonde are FOREVER my favorites. (sometimes Donnie Darko too? lmao one of these things is not like the other~~)

Yeah, funny story. We stayed up all night on our first date talking, I had to work the next morning so he offered to let me stay the night, I declined. (I didn't have extra clothes with me, &I already liked him so much I was worried about doing something I would regret) So he asked me to come back the next day after work, I did. I spent the night &I've stayed every night since. We have talked about marriage, & I would like him to ask, but the wait is killing me. Like, how does a woman propose?

You made a little mistake: "제가 is more concerned with WHO BOUGHT whereas 제는 is more concerned with WHAT I DID." Actually it's the other way around , the topic marker emphasizes the word you attach it to, which in this case would be 저. So the emphasis in 저는 샀다 is on 'I', not on 'bought'. Btw...I feel you, topic marker vs. subject marker indeed is one of the hardest grammar points in Korean ;;

1. What’s your favorite sims death?

Okay this is gonna lmao reveal some shit…. I’ve RARELY had sims die in game! Mostly cos I am such a careful player (controlling) and often cos I’d move out elders and stop playing them so I never had to deal with death by old age LMAO SO I’VE YET TO ACTUALLY EXPERIENCE MANY DEATHS…………………. it’s pretty sad lmao 

10. What sim traits do you give yourself?

From Sims 3 I picked absent minded, overemotional, bookworm, easily impressed, and night owl. i feel like that’s one too many but. alas. LMAO they are all inherently me!

12. Favorite EA hair?

Oh shoot this a good question. Okay so back before I ever had defaults in the ye old days of TS2 I had a bad habit of abusing Bella’s hair lmaooooo for like. Everything! And also that fake curly/wavy looking shoulder-length hair? That’s….. not CC right? lmao But now days I have defaults so bye bye to those hairs! TS4 tho has that long curly hair and I had to stop myself from putting it on EVERYONE. But also some of the EPs have some cute ass hairs, I’m just blanking on things cos I’m really sleepy D: 

20. How has your “sim style” changed throughout your years of playing?

WOOOOOOOOOOO. BOY.

Back in the day everything was photoskinned and realistic, remember those days? I avoided the super shiny skins that looked covered in oil but I remember a period of playing before matte skins or even maxis-match skins became much of a thing. Remember when all the clothes were these weird tight, photoskinned dresses and pumps because no one ever put sims in tennis shoes oh my GOD. If I can manage to dig out pics - cos I know they exist SOMEWHERE on lj - yo I’ll post em up cos WOW THOSE WERE THE DAYS. I distinctly remember when repositorying started to become a thing and when maxis match started to happen, but eventually I was dipping out into TS3 where I became way more concerned about maxis match than I’d ever been before. By the time I returned to TS2 there was so much more matte maxis match skins and color palettes GOD THANK GOD FOR COLOR PALETTES I mean Pooklet-ing was a thing back then but still, you know?

Which is your favorite Sims Expansion?

HARD QUESTION IS HARD! I guess it depends on the series tbh. For TS2 I’m always torn between Season’s and Apartment Life. Season’s was just revolutionary to me! The way the lighting changed per season and each season had a special perk? I was floored! Autumn wooed me with those golden tones ugh man! And getting to garden! But idk Apartment Life really did something for me - even tho I don’t play apartments as often as I’d like to! (That said maybe Free Time should be the other fave…….. Or OfB…. SEE HOW HARD THIS IS? 

TS3 tho? Generations, hands down! Tho it’s tied for me with Uni and Island Paradise. But then again…… Supernatural………. and Seasons…… GAH!!!! I’m gonna say Generations, Seasons, and Uni. Generations just blew everything away for me. I love LOVE the teen age so having cute little things like prom and teen parties was the COOLEST and I’m desperately hoping we get something similar on TS4 cos it just adds SO MUCH dimension to the game! 

As far as TS4 goes, for now it’s City Living and Get Together, which is like, 2/3 of their releases I know. But I feel like TS4 does so much more throwing out Game Packs and SPs as well that it’s almost hard to weigh these. That said, I’m a sucker for any city life and TS4 leaves me YEARNING for proper city living in my own real life. San Myshuno is gorgeous, I love the festivals, I love the apartment elements, everything is so cool to me! Get Together is similar! Windenburg is THE PERFECT aesthetic, all the new items are gorgeous, the new locations and clubs and alfjjfkafkjafj I just really love it!!!!!

What is your favorite thing about the Sims?

No matter the incarnation for me it all comes down to raising little families and worlds. I used to do a lot of perfect play and I still struggle to break myself away from being ultra controlling of my little pixel people. Mostly, I just love creating them and letting them live - make families or destroy them or forsake them all together. Businesses and trying to achieve their LTWs and climb to the top of the ladder. Especially now that I do BACC’s and round robin hood plays in TS2, I love seeing how families grow, who befriends who, how things are related. Like, in my hood Starryfay it was just crazy, seeing who fell in love with who and who wanted to kill the others lmao. I like their little lives, man. 

What is your least favorite thing about the Sims?

For TS2, it’s just a matter of, you know, being dated. I wish we had tools like S4S that made creating recolors far less tedious. I wish it was easier to decorate as it is in TS4, too, lmao. I hate decorating in TS2 cos TO THIS DAY I’ve yet to really mess around with/figure out OMSPs and stuff lmaoooooo 

I think with TS4 it’s the fact that we have so few traits - and I know there’s mods for that which I intend to definitely get and mess with some time, but it DOES make my sims feel a little more…. one dimensional I guess? Also lack of things like ACR and even the fact that in my experience there isn’t as much negative matters? Does that make sense? Like, with TS2 your sims can hate each other without you interfering too much but in TS4 I feel like I have to FORCE that?

Nah, not really tbh? I just. idk man tattoos are so permanent and I don’t think there’s anything in my life with the same lasting permanence. And as it is, the only tats I, personally, am into the most are those neat ass watercolor tats, but holy shit, those would need so much touching up to stay so vibrant and pretty and i just. idk man. what would i tat on me? \o/ And, as it is, I really fucking hate needles, I really hate pain, anyone who tells me it doesn’t hurt that much is LYING!!!!! ;A;

sheets- how many blankets do you sleep with 

Just one, but it’s so thick and cozy and comfortable and nice that I don’t really need any more! I mean, my upstairs heats up really nice so come winter it’s not so bad I need more than that, and anyway, Texas winters got NOTHING on Iowa winters (where I slept with a blanket, an electric blanket, and sometimes one of those small fuzzy blankets from Walmart lmao)

lips- what is your favorite thing to taste

Again, I think depending on my mood, things change but I guess in the end, peach tea (iced tea, not hot!) and white peppermint or white caramel mochas are my favorites!!!!! I HAVE NO IDEA! I’ve never stopped to think about it and i love orange so much, how am i to decide?! Bizarrely enough, I don’t actually possess a lot of orange things myself, and I feel like it’s a cop out to say oranges are even tho - let’s be real THEY ARE. A lot of my giraffes vary in the shades of yellow to orange, so can I count them? idk i just really fuckin’ love the color orange tbh.
