My New iPhone 16 Pro

Recently, I made a trip to the Apple Store and treated myself to the new iPhone 16 Pro in white titanium with 1 TB of storage. It’s sleek, modern, and jam-packed with tech I could only have dreamed about when I first started using iPhones. It's funny how much can change over the years.

I still remember when I got my very first iPhone—an iPhone 3GS. It feels like a lifetime ago. Back then, I was 16, and everything felt like it was just starting out for me. The iPhone 3GS was my gateway into a world of digital convenience, and at the time, it was revolutionary. Fast forward to now, and holding this 

iPhone 16 Pro in my hands, I can’t help but reflect on how much has changed not just with technology, but with me as well.

I’ll be 32 next year, and looking back, it’s crazy how much life has evolved. The phone that was once primarily a way to stay connected has now become a powerful tool for everything from photography to managing my blogs, podcasts, and so much more. I’ve gone from using my phone to text and play simple games to creating content, capturing high-resolution images, and editing projects on the go. It's surreal.

Life has moved on, and so have I. I’m not that 16-year-old kid anymore, but it’s amazing how something like a new phone can make you pause and appreciate just how far you've come. Sure, the iPhone has improved drastically since the 3GS camera, the speed, the design but I’ve also grown in ways I couldn’t have imagined back then.

Now, with this iPhone 16 Pro, I’m looking forward to creating even more, capturing moments, and seeing where the next few years take me because if the last 16 years are anything to go by, the future is going to be one wild ride.

OK SO! (Thinking abt this rn) Yknow how Cobs tends to make 1 MePhone per version, and in II S2 E14, we see two more alongside whos presumably MePhone3GS?

What if those two were MePhone3G and the og MePhone? Like think about it. They arent seen at all in II and from the context in the second image,

both og MePhone and 3G are destroyed by the Shimmers, just think about it. Original iPhone and iPhone3G dont have II counterparts, this might be the reason? Now it got me thinking, what did they both look like? Probably the same as 3GS maybe?

I wonder if they will be ever mentioned again, but its just something I remember talking in IID about with some other members, its just something im really curious about and I wonder if they are og MePhone and MePhone3G, I mean, it makes sense if they are, after all, Cobs only made 1 version of each MePhone.

Apple好きにはたまらない恒例のイベント＜WWDC23＞、日本時間では深更ゆえ私は見たくもないし、見たこともない。だが内容には興味津々、朝一番でいつもお世話になる＜TAKAさんのYouTube＞でその概要を教えていただいた。詳細はここでは記さないが、感慨深かったのが iPhone 登場から16年が経過したという事実だ。私が iPhone を使い始めたのが2010年のこと、確か＜iPhone3GS＞だったと記憶している。いやぁ衝撃の体験だった、それまでは小型の電話であったものが、電話もできるコンピュータを手にしたのだ。新製品にすぐに手を出すには経済状況と加齢に伴う視野の広がりが邪魔をするが、それでも Apple の時代を切り拓くマインドには敬服しきりである。

5時起床。

日誌書く。

朝食、洗濯、弁当1つ。

ツレアイ（訪問看護師）は朝から2件訪問、7時30分に自転車で出発した。

可燃ゴミ、30L*2。

8時にヤクルトさん登場、いつもの野菜ジュースを購入する。

ほどなくO姉来訪、一緒に車で出勤する。

順調に到着する。

換気、ラジオ体操第一、お茶。

O姉は2限＜ジェンダー・ダイバーシティ論＞の授業、私はあれこれ事務作業。

ランチを食べ、火曜日3限・4限は＜スタディスキルズ（看護学科）＞、9週目はレポートの仕上げ。チェック用プリントを配布し、作業後に印刷して最終チェック、完成したものをClassroomに提出させる。

予想以上に学生さんが頑張ってくれ、欠席者以外は時間内に提出してくれた（はず）。来週からは、グループワークに移行する。

4限終了が16時10分、お茶を頂いてから退出、雨は降り続いている。

いつも通り九条大宮でO姉を降ろしたのが17時30分ころか。

ツレアイは午後は京都みなみ会館で映画を観たとのこと、私よりも少し先に帰宅、一緒に夕飯を準備する。

残りキャベツを豚バラ肉と酢蒸し、蒸し鶏、フライドポテト、レタス＋トマト＋キュウリのぬか漬け。息子たちにはスパークリングワイン、私たちは土佐鶴ぬる燗。

テレビで野球中継を観ながら、20時には切り上げる。

片付け、入浴、体重は600g減、よし！

歩数は足りないが、月・火は余裕がないので3つのリング完成だけで良しとしよう。水分は、1,540ml。

この頃はWindowsマシンを使っていたけど、Twitter(現X)に登録して数ヶ月後にこのiPhone3GSとPocket Wi-Fiを契約した。 フリック入力に魅せられて、初Apple製品。 14年前の話、この頃iPhoneのキャリアはSoftbankだけだった。 当時のTwitter環境はサードパーティアプリが色々あって、EchofonとかTwitBirdとかついっぷる、、、懐かしいな〜。笑 パソコンでのTwitter環境で好きだったのはHootSuiteがとても好きだった。 特にGoogle Chromeで使うとかなり使いやすかった。 カラム式でリスト管理もしやすくてTwitterライフが捗って仕方がなかった。笑 という、14年前の古の話。 JAMた！(じゃむた！)@龍神 → @jamta_love
