Is Intel's New CPU Better Than AMD's New CPU? Let's Break It Down
When it comes to choosing the best CPU for your needs, the rivalry between Intel and AMD is always a topic of debate. Both brands have released some incredible processors recently, but which one is truly better? Is Intel's new CPU really that much better than AMD's new CPU? Well, the answer isn't as clear-cut as you might think.
Intel's latest processors, like the Intel Core i7 and Intel Core i9 from their 13th generation, have brought significant performance improvements. They boast faster clock speeds, enhanced multi-core capabilities, and better single-threaded performance, making them a great choice for gaming and multitasking. But is that enough to outdo AMD’s latest offerings, like the AMD Ryzen 7000 series?
AMD’s processors are no slouches either. With impressive multi-threaded performance, better power efficiency, and a more affordable price tag, AMD has been dominating in certain segments, especially for users looking for solid performance on a budget.
So, which one is better? It really depends on what you're looking for. If you need maximum single-threaded performance for tasks like gaming or software that demands high clock speeds, Intel might be the better option. But, if you want a CPU that excels in multi-core tasks, provides great value, and runs cooler, AMD could be your winner.
At the end of the day, both brands offer high-performance CPUs that deliver excellent results. It’s important to understand your needs and choose the one that aligns with your computing requirements. Whether you choose Intel or AMD, rest assured that you're getting top-tier performance.

There's apparently some good news, though. Intel are extending the warranty by 2 years for boxed 13th and 14th gen CPUs and say they're releasing a patch mid-August that should prevent the issue happening to CPUs that haven't yet been damaged. Of course, if a CPU is already crashing, there's still no fixing it.
in case you were thinking about buying or building a pc soon:

Changing the graphics settings in Warframe is like putting up domino pieces.
One wrong move and then the entirety goes to shit.
Been changing a setting, restarting warframe, then checking how it looks, if it looks shitty I restart the pc because I've changed the settings there too,
and I've been in this loop for a while. I just want my game to both play well and be pretty man-
#warframe#Maybe it's because I'm playing an Intel CPU and AMD GPU duo#Maybe it's because i constantly change the settings#IDK#if the resolution will not look like shit I'll keep it#also FSR fucking SUCKS#don't do it unless you really need to#Maybe it's also bad game optimalization cuz playing on the predisposed settings is fine#but the moment i peak one of the graphic settings higher it starts to fall apart

it's so convenient and nice when doing something for moral reasons is also incredibly practical. electronics manufacturing is evil & destructive but also used shit is just so much cheaper that it's unbelievable. i spent so long looking for a decent laptop under a grand and then i look on a used website and find a gaming laptop with an i7-7700 and a 1060 for 400 dollars
#btw if you do buy a new computer#boycott intel#they have a plant in occupied Palestine and actively support israeli apartheid#plus their CPUs are ass#on theme

I'm always like "yeah sure I'm no expert but I'm relatively familiar with PC tech terminology" until I'm actually trying to shop for PC components
#me: I'd like to go back to having a proper tower so I'll just do some light research on current specs :)#website: The ASRock B660M Pro RS Micro ATX LGA1700 Motherboard supports the Intel Core i5-13400 2.5 GHz 10-Core Processor with BIOS version#The Thermalright Peerless Assassin 66.17 CFM CPU Cooler may require a separately available mounting adapter#We are filtering for a 2x16GB kit of DDR4 RAM with a speed of at least DDR4-3200 and a CAS latency of 16 or lower.#me: you are saying devil incantations at me

Sorry for being a bit MIA these last days. Had a issue with my driver, but also just discovered that the 13th and 14th gen of Intel cpu's can suffer from a degrading problem over time! Well I wasn't sure mine was effected.. But I took no chances and got a brand new replacement with the latest bios update.
If you have a 13th or 14th gen intel cpu, update your Bios asap! It could suffer from a degrading issue or else over time. Intel has released a patch in August to prevent that. But existing damage cannot be helped.
More info here!
#like wtf man#also got 2 new ram sticks cuz that guy thought they could have been afflicted too somehow....#mistress blabbling#thank goodness for my 4-year warranty on the other stuff#saves me €500 on a new intel cpu#or just like me try to get a replacement and be sure#even if you think there is nothing wrong with your cpu you really should update your bios!
