[This entire post is a ramble about Bungou Stray Dogs Season Five so here's your spoiler warning, flee now if you wish to be spoiler-free]

Pros of finishing BSD season five: I can finally unblock the season five spoilers tags and wander Bungou Stray Dogs tumblr with [relative] safety [Still avoiding manga spoilers]

Cons of finishing BSD season five: Half of my favorite characters got injusticed and one fucking died in a helicopter crash after stabbing another one of my favorites and sending him into a coma. [or smth, not entirely certain what happened to Sigma. I hope he's okay though.]

Ah yes, bestie almost escaped via helicopter except he fucked up his hand when he almost drowned and had a vampire driving the helicopter and it was at that moment that all the vampires went haywire [Thanks Bram] and one wasn't even a vampire to begin with but he's really good at acting feral. I will be honest, the ending caught me off guard, but it was funny seeing Fyodor freak out.

This whole season just made me feel bad for Sigma though. :[ Bestie just wanted a home and a reason to live. And he got used for that. It was funny as hell seeing him interact with Dazai, with how unserious he was while they were escaping though. The dancing scene plays on repeat in my mind quite a bit. [I like watching dancing too, which is part of it]

And also the Kenji backstory. Bestie used the power of nature to redirect a mudslide and then casually went back to farming like nothing happened. I love how chill he is though, he just sorta gets over the fact that Tecchou has stabbed him like twenty times in the past two seasons and then they both take a nap on the concrete together. And apparently the Armed Detective Agency is only a side-gig and he spends most of his time farming still?? Strange child.

And then there's also the ten year old girl carrying a vampire-kabob around while trying to not get murdered by the other vampires [She saves the day by jumping on a table]

Also I'm sorry to say but I found the ending scene with Fukuzawa and Fukuchi e x t r e m e l y uhhh. Y'know. :rainbow flag: but that's just my brain being ruined from being in this fandom.

I found season five quite humorous, and I honestly think I could go on about all my thoughts for quite a while, but that takes far more thought assembling than I currently feel like doing.

(You and Natsuya are in a train, packed with passengers. You didn't realise that you were separated from him by a few feet, though he was still close enough for you to make eye contact with him every now and then, however…something odd seems to be happening..)

Y/n:(scrolling through your phone) *hmmm why do I feel like I'm being watched in a weird way…. I hope Natsuya is keeping an eye on me… …I don't feel safe here…*

Natsuya: (glancing over at you)*winks*

Y/n:(smiling at him and nodding your head)

(Suddenly, you feel a cold hand on you)

Creep: (starts touching you from behind, lingering her slender fingers over your waist)

Y/n: ( clutching your bag and putting your phone inside) *what the- that's a woman behind me isn't it?? Did she accidentally touch me-*

Natsuya:(notices something's up as a horrid expression paints your face)

Creep: (slides her hands into your shirt and feels up your stomach) hehehe~

Y/n:(shifting away) Ma'am I'm gonna need you to stop what you're doing-

(The people around you stare at you two, and Natsuya tries to push through the crowd and get close to you)

Creep: Oh dear, I was trying to fix your clothing~ you know, it was coming out from behind hahaha! Don't you worry~

Y/n: sure..(gives Natsuya a helpless look)

Natsuya: (immediate takes out his phone and secretly starts recording you two) *hang in there y/n*

Creep: (starts to touch you again, this time going below your stomach and touching your private areas) How lustful~

Y/n: (trying to move away, but she has a firm hold on your waist) *Ugh! I can't break free! Can't even do anything otherwise people are gonna act like I'm the one being weird*

Creep: (starts to take out something from her bag) this will sure come in handy today~

Natsuya: (eyes widening, takes a few pictures and immediately pushes through the crowd and grabs your arm, pulling you free from the woman's grasp) y/n!!

(Once again, the crowd stares at you three)

Natsuya: Ma'am that was assault, you do realise that you're touching him inappropriately?

Y/n: (hugging Natsuya's arm) I tried to break free but she wouldn't let me-

Creep: Oh how injust! Everyone here can clearly see that you two are blaming me to get money off of me. Why would I do anything of the sort? Do I look like one of those people?

(People around start muttering and giving you suspicious looks)

Y/n: (looking at Natsuya, eyes filled with rage) Natsu, got any ideas?

Natsuya: (caressing your hair) I'll take care of it, don't worry.

Creep: (giving you two a petrified stare)Look at them! Such filth! Do you two honestly think you're even doing the right thing? 

Natsuya: (ticked off, takes out his phone and plays the clips in front of everyone) Oh yeah? You think we're the filthy ones for protecting each other from the likes of someone who does things like THESE on public transport?? If you have any shame, you'd leave this place. I do not want you coming in our vicinity again!

Creep: what the-! That's not true-

Y/n: what do you mean "not true"?? You were literally touching me in places you shouldn't, I don't even know you!!

(A wave of gasps fill the air as the crowd now eyes the woman. A couple of ladies come ahead and grab her, dragging her away as she screams insults and later, the ticket collector puts her into the staff's custody. Natsuya sends him the videos as proof and gives him his number, in case the cops would ask. Some time later, The crowd on the train settles back down and some of the people even try to comfort you)

Natsuya: Alright there's our stop. Let's go y/n!

Y/n: yes, coming!

Y/n: (Deboarding) thank you everyone who was there for us, we're both grateful for you guys

Natsuya: (kissing your forehead) Hey, thankful little cupcake, Wanna go somewhere to cheer you up?

Y/n: (punching his shoulder lightly)I just want to stay in your arms right now…where I feel safe

Natsuya: hehehe~ Netflix and chill it is then~

Y/n: (moans softly, burying your face into Natsuya's arm)

(The rest of the afternoon was spent with Natsuya filling your day with comfort, lots of love and food, and he stayed over at your place at night,  just to look after you)

Kisumi Shigino

(You two are having a fun date at an amusement park, when you notice a girl staring at your boyfriend. You get a bad feeling about her. She makes eye contact and she starts walking up to you)

Y/n: (holding Kisumi's hand tightly, tugging at him) Kisumi…Karen incoming, 6 o'clock …

Kisumi: (looks over and makes eye contact with the lass) Ohhh, don't worry y/n, I'll make sure she doesn't ruin our date~(takes out his phone and fiddles with it)

G: hey there hotshot~ what's bangin~

Y/n:(rolling your eyes) Do you need something?

G: I'm not talking to you, am I? Actually, You're not so bad yourself too~ what are such fine boys like you two doing here without any dates~

Y/n: (gives her a disgusted stare and glances at Kisumi) 

Kisumi: (winks at you and smiles) Not at all, we do have dates~

G:(looking around) Oh? Where would they be~ bet they're cheating on you~ hoes ain't loyal nowadays hehehe

Kisumi: (pulling you to his side and kissing your cheek) Well, my date is right here, and I know for a fact that he's not cheating on me

Y/n:(giggles and smiles at him) and mine is DEFINITELY not cheating hehehe

G: (Giving you a revolting glare) You are what now?? Heh, I might've misheard you, THIS, is your boyfriend??

Kisumi: (grinning proudly) Why yes! Isn't he perfect? 

G: HAHAHAHA!! This guy right here?? Your boyfriend?? Puh-lease! Have you seen his face?? He looks like he was picked up from a dumpster or something LMAO.

Y/n: (scoffs) And you look like someone whose face can be wiped off with a makeup remover

Kisumi: (stifles a laugh)

G: (glaring at you sharply) Tough talk, why do you think you're better than me? I suppose you don't know who I am?

Kisumi: Hmmmm….I can't seem to recall…OH WAIT!! KING KONG?? THAT'S YOU RIGHT??

Y/n: (bursts out laughing)

G: (gritting her teeth, walks up to you and shoves her bag at your face)

Kisumi: (pulls you away and grabs her hand) Whoa there young lady, chill out~

Y/n: what the- ma'am control yourself!! You're the one disturbing us right now!! Didn't we say we're together?? Go away this instant!!

G: (grabs your collar) Little pipsqueak! You're talking way too much aren't-

Kisumi: (breaks her away and pushes her onto the ground, giving her a death stare) now now, if I see you laying a finger on my y/n, I will not hesitate to deal with you myself.

G:(starts yelling and crying) Ugh! These two boys are threatening me!! Help!

Y/n: (looking around in panic as passers-by start staring at the scene) uh-oh-

Kisumi: (giggling)

G: You think this is funny??

Kisumi: (waving his phone) I've recorded every single thing you've said, right from the moment you started talking to us. Go ahead, scream for help. I bet that the police would loveee to hear this little recording of their complaint filer~

Y/n: (looks at Kisumi in surprise, then smiles evilly at the girl) Well well well, look who's caught up, like a spider caught in its own web~  

Kisumi: (pulls you close and gestures to the bystanders that nothing is wrong, then glares at the girl intimidatingly) Scoot. 

G:(getting up weakly)Y-you!! Ugh! Y'all are nothing but ugly trash anyway!

Y/n: oh? And you were checking out trash?

G:(growls and walks away, tripping over a soda can and diving head first into a fountain right besides)

Kisumi and y/n:( burst out laughing and walk towards the next ride, holding hands)

Y/n: kisu?

Kisumi: (kissing your forehead) Mhm?

Y/n: I'm.. Attractive…right?

Kisumi: (tickling you and making you laugh) 

Y/n: (laughing and giggling) KISU - STOP-AHAHAHA!!

Kisumi: (teehees and wraps you in a hug, picking you up and gazing into your eyes) You're my sun, and my moon. You're the brightest shining star in my eyes, no matter what anyone else says, you'll be the light to my world

Y/n: (blushing and covering Kisumi's face with your palm) Sheesh, such a smooth talker!

(You two go on ride after ride, having the best day of your lives and completely forget about the girl who once tried to ruin your relationship. With Kisumi as your boyfriend, the happiness, joy and pleasure is never ending, and the love is evermore)

(Grabs snacks; time to end this with the best >:D)

Ikuya Kirishima

(As you two are enjoying your lunch time together in your University cafeteria, a stuck up looking couple approaches you. You and Ikuya pay them no heed and simply continue having your food. The boy walks behind you and you hear a snipping sound. You notice that Ikuya's expression has changed to a nasty, murderous glare)

Ikuya: (getting up) What do you think you're doing??

Y/n:(feeling your hair to see what's wrong. You notice it's a few strands short in an area) What the heck did you do to my hair??

B: chill bro just a lil game of dares we were playin, nothin personal!

G: hehehe, how brave b/n! 

Ikuya: (growling and grabbing the boy's collar) Who do you think you are?? And who the fuck allowed you to touch y/n's hair?? Much less cut it off??

Y/n:( catches sight of the lock of hair in the boy's hand) BRO, WHAT THE HECK??

G: oh calm down! You two don't need to overreact so much!

Y/n: overreact?? How about I cut off your hair?? Then I'd call it even

B: (pushes Ikuya away and grabs the girl's hand) don't you dare touch her

Ikuya: how about you first give up and Quietly make up for the damage you've caused??

Y/n: Fuck the game, You have no right to cut someone's hair like that! Like who even are you?? 

G: B/n do something about these two nuisances. They're getting on my nerves

B: you're looking for a fight? Then you've got one, heh! Think you're tough??

Y/n: (pulling Ikuya back) Control, don't start a fight with the likes of these two. It's not worth it.

(Hiyori had approached you at a distance and spotted the commotion. Unbeknownst to you all, he secretly clipped everything. The moment Ikuya is about to get into a fight, he rushes to get a professor involved) 

Ikuya: (smiling angrily at the guy and grabbing his collar, trying to throw him away) 

Y/n:(tries to stop him but the girl grabs your arms) IKUYA- hey-!! You bitch!! 

B:( grabs Ikuya's hair, pulling it and tries to bang his head on his own, but Ikuya's stronger than him, and he can't resist the force of Ikuya's body) nnggh! You insolent!!

Y/n:(notices that the girl is wavering her attention and quickly sweep her feet, causing her to crash down) heh, tough luck~

Y/n: (quickly grabs her and detains her on a chair nearby, making sure she doesn't move by passing her on to a onlooking student) please keep a watch on her, I want to make sure nobody gets hurt here!

B: you little!! How dare you do that to my girlfriend!! I'll make this guy pay!! 

Ikuya: (tries to keep the boy on a deadlock, but he manages to free himself, grabbing Ikuya's shoulders and kneeing him in the crotch) AAAH!!

B: (taking advantage of the crippling Ikuya, he grabs his shirt and tries to throw him on the ground)

Y/n: the fucking audacity!! (Jumping onto the guy and kicking his face hard, causing him to disorient)

Hiyori: these ones right here sir! Please take charge of them!!

(A professor enters the scene and smacks the boy and the girl hard, and then asks you and Ikuya to join them, as he takes everyone to the principal. There, Hiyori waits for the two of you outside while the principal questions you about the situation. He mentions that he's already watched the clip Hiyori recorded, and will make sure to punish the couple. You two thank him and reunite with Hiyori outside)

Hiyori: I should've come sooner…

Ikuya: (still in pain, just shakes his head) No… thanks for saving us..

Y/n: (patting Ikuya's back) Iku? Are you alright? You were so brave…thank you so so much. I love you..

Ikuya: (smiles tenderly and strokes your cheek) anything to protect you…

Hiyori: It's time to leave now…I wish I could help you take care of Ikuya, but it's time for our swim training. Y/n, I trust you to take good care of him! I'll fill in for you Ikuya, heal up!

Y/n: (nodding your head) bubyee, and thank you so much again Hiyori kun!!

(You take Ikuya to your home and let him rest there, as you tend to him…)

Y/n: (strokes Ikuya's messed up hair) how dare he…I'll never forgive that jerk.. Your beautiful hair..

Ikuya: (gently holds your roughly cut locks and sadly stares at them) If only I could replace these with mine…I can't stand to see your hair being destroyed like this…

Y/n: (shaking your head and resting a hand on his) Maybe, but I still hated the way he fought you…I hated when he grabbed your head…Every second of it…I loathed it

Ikuya: (winces when you place a hand on his, as it was resting on his crotch. He quickly tries to act it off) Nmm!.. Sorry-....

Y/n: (looking at Ikuya's pained expression) Hey…. Does it still hurt?

Ikuya:... No…

Y/n : tell me the truth…

Ikuya:....

Y/n: knew it. Let me just…(embraces Ikuya and kisses his cheek) I'll make the pain disappear. You're my everything Ikuya…I love you..

(You and Ikuya sit there on the couch, gazing outside from your window. Watching the sunset in silence and being in each other's presence was more than enough to recharge and refresh the two of you back to normal)

I mean, i have SEVERAL faves: awesamdude, eret, wilbur (rip), techno and phil - I’ll watch sometimes, tubbo and tommy, but if you’re going by who I watch th

when did you first start watching the smp and what made you get into it?

Oh, it was thanks to the sudden influx of dream smp animatics all over my youtube home page - and tbh, they were all pretty good! and so, i was like: ???!!! and started watching and now i religiously check the dsmp tag for plot updates so i guess that’s where we’re at rn… haha…

what is your favourite part about watching the smp?

Just watching these creators make these amazing stories+narrative - it’s free tv! i am entertained! even just watching them interact, this large community of a variety of streamers/youtubers, in the most diverse topics (not all of them are really minecraft-centered, but they are all great!). The idea of showcasing underrated creators in a platform where they all have the opporunity to shine, is just a wholesome idea tbh

- schlatt. evil president. wilbur. chekov’s gun but tragic. do i need to say more.

- bad is actually really good! and terrifying! surprisingly! because he’s.,,. he’s supposed to be one of my comfort streamers.... you should check out his eggpire!!! egg for the egg god

- tommy is good at subtleties, for someone who isn’t very... subtle... yknow? I was surprised by the AMOUNT of detail that went into the exile arc - and he played it adequately

who on the smp would you like to be best friends with?

what are your favourite quotes said on the smp?

i have a lot here too but here are just some that I can think of rn haha:

connor’s whole: “you’re not a bad person, and I hope you find what you’re looking for” had me BAWLING aaa

tommy’s dialogue with dream during their battle was good, but when 

a) tommy asks tubbo: “but what am I with out you?” and tubbo responds: “yourself.” I CRIED AAAA

b) tommy said: “Hey Dream, Dream, kill me.” because he knew dream wouldn’t, because he knew why dream wouldn’t - CHILLS

which part of the smp made you feel the saddest?

- ... pogtopia...

- Wilbur/ghostbur (out of character? in character? i don’t know which’d be worse, actually) admitting that he only wanted to make tommy president so he could blow it up seconds later

- .... tommy’s exile....

- A lot of tommy’s interactions with Techno have me kinda... :( ... you know? Like, the pit, the manberg vs. pogtopia war, doomsday - it feels like they keep shouting the same lines at each other, but neither of them really hear nor understand what the other is saying. Expecially doomsday - techno siding with dream, predictable but also hurtful, kind of. I can see why - but also techno was the closest to learning what had happened over the exile, and yet, the farthest from understanding it.

- doomsday was equally frustrating, hopeless, and depressing tbh

which part of the smp made you feel the happiest?

A LOT OF THINGS: but here are just the ones on the top of my head

- Quackity killing Schlatt and leaving manberg like: ✌️😠✌️

- When Tommy finally realized that dream was just. manipulating him. YOU GO funky exile child, LEAVE!!! 

- PUNZ coming in to save the day with: “you should’ve paid me more”???? YES YES YES

- Sam giving tommy little tasks to build the hotel?? wholesome. Acknowledging tommy’s been through a lot, abnd being one of the few people to know most of the exile story that tommy still won’t tell anyone about outright? 😭 (and i am looking AWAY from the possibility that this is just for profit, nonononono, not in MY line of sight-)

be honest, who do you simp for? (ayo if anyone says tommy or tubbo i will 🔪)

....schlatt (who ironically, was somewhat my introduction into the smp), but only cause he was a TERRIFYINGLY good actor, and he sounds EXACTLY like what id imagine an evil president would sound like 😳 what can i say, i like my voices...? jkashdlhfgal closest ill get to simping anyway so all of you can just take this and go, go elsewhere-

Hmm... one of the chaos ones? kjahdlkg i can’t decide...

what’s your least favorite stream?

The butcher army stream. I mean, it was good I loved the dialogue and set up... but like... story-wise, butcher army didn’t accomplish anything in the end, their existence was as volatile as the person they hunted and tbh nothing was gained from it, just lost and made worse. Hot opinion though, so take it with caution.

what’s something about the smp fandom that makes you sad?

Hmm... A somewhat common point: sometimes people can be really critical about characters, but like, not in a good way - just straight up bashing. I get disliking a character but it makes me :( when i don’t see reason for it. Or bashing someone’s opinion of a character. Look, we’re all interpreters here, but like.... cmon.... someone might just have a different view of a character and that’s fine! 

for example: not a big fan of c!phil as a father. Some interpretations say he’s not a father because phil never said he was. Some might say he was an okay dad, and some might say tommy was never his son. all of these opinions are valid. another one of my opinions: tommy’s “punishments” were injust, some might agree with the idea that they were blown out of proportion and he didn’t really learn anything from them, some might disagree and say he got what he deserved. all of these opinions are valid -but on my end, maybe not the ones where people go: “aww man, c!tommy should’ve died cause he’s so annoying, and he totally deserved it.” did we watch the same arcs, buddies on that end???? are you okay????

Just, i get hating a character, but it bums me out when i see someone just straight up say “this character should die. cause they suck” - why though? story-wise, how would that play out? what

what’s something about the smp fandom that makes you happy?

Yall are great!! I love how much we’ve created - art, animatics, writing -all of you <3 <3 <3 and also all the discussion about the story, the characters, the interactions - I’ve found a community in some groups and honestly it’s just *chef kiss* great!!! yall are super cool and awesome and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise!!

ive talked about this with friends before! let’s see what i can remember.

kaede is the server admin and attempts to keep the peace but it’s difficult when kokichi exists. she and him and have been at a standoff since the server was created because he won’t follow any of the rules, obviously.

miu, kaede, and keebo all live pretty close together, they all like making red stone contraptions. kaede likes making songs with the note blocks, while miu and keebo make the most ridiculously complex shit ever. mostly miu, but keebo likes to feel included.

kokichi was a complete monster the first few days but once he got it out of the system (and got timed out multiple times by kaede) he settled on being a general nuisance. he likes to steal crops, steal from unguarded chests, leave those damn floating trees around. he also hoards diamonds which are the currency of their server.

shuichi tried to be super secretive about where his house was but kokichi still found it and still forcibly moved in with him. shuichi points out that he wanted to play minecraft to relax and kokichi’s presence is the opposite of that though.

angie is real good at building, she can build super pretty stuff. kokichi commissioned her with his asshole full of diamonds to make a huge base for him and shuichi.

himiko likes making potions obviously but she’s also too tired to make good tools or armor for herself so you’ll see her waddling through the nether super under prepared while tenko circles her wearing enchanted diamond armor daring for any enemies to come closer.

gonta has never played minecraft before and doesn’t really know how to play, so he needs supervised sometimes. he can’t remember any recipes and gets lost really easily. sometimes he ends up lost unbelievably far away from spawn and doesn’t know where he is or how he got there. he finds rare biomes this way though so the others aren’t complaining. he tames every wolf he sees so you just see him coming over the horizon with an army of puppies.

kaito is too overdramatically afraid of the monsters and has a reputation for accidentally leading creepers onto ppls property and blowing up parts of their bases. he’s not allowed on voice chat if it’s night ingame because zombies make him scream. the first time he saw a ghast he shit his pants.

maki had also never played before and only joined for kaito but she doesn’t really play on the server very much. she discovered she really likes ultra hardcore tournaments so she does that instead.

rantaros very chill, he just pops in and picks a random person to hang out with for a while. he has a lot of riches on the server for doing a whole lot of nothing, he has an afk fish farm so he has tons of enchanted books and items that he sells for diamonds.

kirumi will help you do boring stuff like leveling out land for a build or collecting clay or some shit, but for a price. shes become the richest person on the server, to the others surprise. she’s got a fucking ginormous base that she had angie make for her and it’s the stuff of mythos on the server because only kokichi has claimed to see it and they don’t know if they believe him or not.

speaking of myths and legends, is korekiyo actually there? does he exist? they see his online icon, but he never speaks. they’ve never seen him in the game. legend has it that he’s out in the Mesa somewhere. what is he doing? seeing his online icon makes you kind of uncomfortable. it’s like feeling like there’s a ghost in the room.

ryoma just likes to farm, man. he has a community farm and he likes growing all the crops in the game and dyeing all the sheep all the colors. he’s also the one that’s usually supervising gonta. he also has so many fucking cats. your game starts lagging out because of the combined strength of ryoma’s army of cats and gonta’s army of dogs.

tsumugi got banned from the server and being an egirl with a stream of dedicated simps watching her, she told them what an injustance it was and that she’s gonna make her OWN server, with blackjack and hookers!

Due to a hand injury Natsuki Takaya was able to have direct involvement with the anime adaptation of Furuba, but but she and director Akitaroh Daichi did not get along. Takaya got a reputation for being a control freak – for example, she demanded big-name seiyuu be cast, something Daichi normally avoids.

I really dislike how Daichi makes changes in the adaptations and leaves out things. I also dislike how the takes away the original works depth by simplifying things. He (for example) pretty much butchered Kamisama Kiss’s story by removing a lot of things and plot lines etc in order to tell the story quicker and in a simpler fashion.

I’m not sure about the source of the whole Akitaroh vs Takaya story, but I guess they did have a conflict. Takaya said the anime happened in the worst period of her life (it wasn’t clear if she would even be able to draw after her injury), so she couldn’t even enjoy it properly, let alone participating in the production (so I don’t see how she could be involved with the anime). I do know some things for sure: she holds dear the VAs work, the music and Ritsuko Okazaki, as she always talks about the opening song and Ritsuko when asked about the first anime. I don’t remember her telling anything more than that tbh.

The way Akitaroh directed it may be explained though: he had about 44 chapters (the latest chapter that came out before that Takaya’s long hiatus was the one where Ritsu appears, if i’m not mistaken), no idea what for many plotlines were in the story, no ending, no guarantee the author will ever come back, so he had to do something and he tried to make a logical closure. So i guess he did what he could or what he thought he could. We can understand he had to face some difficulties. And I think that everything that was turned after the manga without major changes was really good: what this director can do for sure is creating the right atmosphere. And also it has Hatori’s episode that got me dead and that was even better presented than his story in the manga, imo.For this I’ll be forever grateful to the director and the whole team. They did a good job.

But in my opinion, Akitaroh’s biggest mistake was to make a romantic-family-comedy out of Furuba: it’s clear since the begining that it isn’t the core of the story. I know, I know, many people loved it because of the humour, and I wouldnt claim it ‘gross’, but it’s not what Furuba feels to me. Akitaroh’s humor =/= Takaya’s humour, and i felt it even when i was watching it with no knowledge the manga exists: it just felt not so fitting for the story. I didn’t appreciate ‘the funny fillers‘ and even thought I should stop watching it, but Hatori’s episode and the later drama saved everything. Sounds ridiculous, probably, but drama can save a show for me - if it’s Takaya’s drama.

Also, I don’t really understand how it was decided what scenes to cut, what to replace with ‘funny fillers’ and what to keep. Why to cut off many scenes that are not really explained but fitting for the plot and relationships, like Kyo and Tohru’s moment in the episode about them visiting Kyoko’s grave, for example? It fits well even without getting into details and explaining the reasons of his words and reactions then. Also, why to change characters’ motives? Yes, we can make Kazuma a shady guy who acts upon Akito’s orders and does that thing to Kyo because he’s ordered and not because he cares about his SON - just to show how EVERYONE IS CONNECTED. And how about personalities? I’m not talking about Shigure, the post is getting longer than i expected already, but the main trio? What happens in the ending of the 25th/beginning of the last episode feels really OOC to me and it doesn’t give any feeling of closure. So, in short, congrats, with these changes you killed your chance to turn the second season.

Everything I wrote sounds like blabbing of a Furuba freak who will protect Takaya’s original manga to death, but I never hid what a creature I was, haha. But tbh I was pretty chill about Akitaroh’s adaptation UNTIL the last year when i saw his comment on the anime: he said that he ‘fixed the flaws of the original manga‘ and it got me really mad. I lost the link for that video so I may be injust and biased or i just misinterpreted it but it’s not the best way you treat the source material, ya know.

About Kamisama: I was not really into this story when I was watching it, and I never read the manga, so I liked the anime (first season). The atmosphere felt a bit like Furuba to me, and it’s the component I really appreciate in the first series. But I wouldn’t be surprised if it had the same problems as Furuba 2001.

Fitz has a myriad of issues, most of which comes from his C-PTSD. He knows that he doesn’t “work” like other people do, and he wants life to be a little easier, but he’s just sorta guessing at how to do that. Mental Illness isn’t super well understood in Egra, especially stuff unrelated to warfare.

Are they a pessimist or an optimist?

an extremely anxious optimist. He hopes for the best but prepared for the worst.

Are they good at handling change in their life?

Not in the least bit

Does your OC tend to assume their interpretation of events and reality is correct, or do they question it? I.e., “I’m sure that’s what you said” versus “It’s possible I misheard you.”

A lifetime of gaslighting and being a bad judge of character (read: betrayal magnet) as lead him to seriously doubt everything but a few skills and his sense of danger.

He will insist it was scary, but as a mask for his own embarassment. This is more about defensivness than his perception of his own reactions. I don’t think he’d think much about that, just how others will treat him for it.

he’d call them “reasons”, but sometimes. Depends on what.

Fitz is pretty terrible at compromising when it has anything to do with something he percieves as just or injust. He can think very black-and-white, but if it’s an a-moral decision he can be flexible.

Does your OC put others’ needs before their own?

yes, but more because he’s comfortable with deprivation

I’m not sure if you’d call hypersexuality an addiction, but I think he would if he was honest with himself. Which he’s not. He’s also an adrenaline junkie and needs a little bit of danger or else he gets too anxious waiting for something to happen.

Does your OC have any phobias? If so, where did they come from?

Fitz has tons of fears, though idk about any true phobias. He “is reasonably wary” of heights and needles “because they can be dangerous” and he’s flat-out scared of some forms of touch (especially when he’s not expecting it) and alcohol poisoning (the latter of which probably being his truest phobia. He won’t even take a drink.)

When he was younger he was a bit more rebellious and disregarded advice as a means of acting out and testing his autonomy, but Fitz is usually surprisingly willing to listen and observe to learn. Whether he puts what he learns into practice or just chooses to make bad choices is a different mtter.

What’s one of your OC’s proudest moments of themselves?

When he was given his first edged greatsword, and then when he managed to use it to cut through a training dummy the first time.

YES VERY, and only if he recognizes that’s what’s going on. He will more likely feel guilty for trying to “keep” someone when they could be with “someone better”

What instantly irritates them or puts them in a bad mood?

Lack of empathy, especially when compassion would be at no loss to the person in question.

Fitz has had a rough time of it, and every time I make a choice for him IC, I make those choices through the lense of his trauma. He’s got a long way to go before he knows how to be happy, but he’s working on it.

No. You start with respect, and you can lose it.

It depends on his mood. He can get irritated if he’s feeling anxious, and he’s anxious when he hasn’t done enough.

Very obvious malicious intent, or gross apathy. It it’s something he’d be ashamed of doing himself, then he might get curt with someone.

Do they tip well? How easily can they be moved to not leave a tip?

Nope, you got a working arm (in theory, even Var has at least one)

They let them know and apologize too much.

Eat it anyway. Fitz’ll eat anything. He might order it again and specify carefully so they get it right if it’s a specific thing he’s craving or bread

Fitz having friends is already assuming a lot, but probably small.

Fitz has a STRONG moral center based around minimizing harm. He takes it very seriously.

As far as Fitzs is concern, his morals are his modivation. He wouldn’t have any reason to act against them, and if he did, then he’d reason that it was to minimize his own harm.

Is it important for them to be with people (socially, intimately, whatever) whose major ideological tenets align with their own?

It can be. He can be with someone whose less interested in morality and justice, but being callous in front of him is a MAJOR turn off

Do they consider themselves superior or more important than anyone else? Lesser?

Yes and no? If you asked him he’d say no, but he does hold his moral code up as very important, and can sometimes act very self-rightously and self-important as a result. He’s also got some privillage ingrained in him from his noble origins

Do your OC’s morals and rules of common decency go out the window when it comes to those they don’t like, or when it’s inconvenient? Aka, are their morals situational?

Those he doesn’t like are usually BECAUSE they cross his moral code. In which case, he might act against them as a way he percieved to enact “justice”. However, he can also mistake dislike of someone for them ACTING unjust, IE- someone rubs him the wrong way and he’s more susceptible to thinking they’re Bad People. He’s emotionally immature like that.

What do they do when they see someone asking for money or food? If they ignore them, why? If they help, how so?

Fitz would absolutely help them. If he’s completely out of money he’d help them steal something if need be; he doesn’t believe in people going hungry.

Do they believe people change over time? If so, is it a natural process or does it take effort?

He hasn’t really thought about that. People go in and out of his life quickly enough that he’s never had the occasion to wonder, really. He hopes people can, though. He’s trying.

I feel like practicality is built into his morality; if someone is starving then it is MOST moral for them to steal, even if stealing in other instances is not.

Fitz thinks of gods like he’d think of a powerful politician: you can follow them and hope that their favor, but it’s usually at the cost of doing what they say. Fitz is fine without a divine sugar daddy- he prefers to be untethered.

Do they believe in an afterlife?

Yeah, cos that’s canon I think?

How comfortable are they with the idea of death?

Comfortable with it, not super wanting to experience it tho lol

They’d want to be. Fitz is a survivor. If he would in any circumstance want to relinquish his life just for the sake of no longer having to live, he’d have done it by now.

Fitz is a sharp cookie. He’s fast at making connections and noticing patterns and enjoys learning things about the world. He knows he’s pretty clever, too. It’s saved his hide more than once.

Which of the nine types of intelligence is your OC strongest in? Weakest? (Linguistic, existential, naturalist, et cetera)

Fitz is probably naturally strongest in intrapersonal intelligence. Unfortunately, his upbringing has severely stunted this growth, so it hasn’t nearly reached its potential, and so people usually notice his bodily-kenetic, logical-mathimatical and verbal-linguisting before that.

How many languages do they speak? 

Two, common and dwarvish

Did they enjoy school if they went to it? 

They enjoyed their tutoring. Fitz loves engaging his mind or body in things, otherwise he’s miserable.

What’s their highest education level? Do they want to continue their education?

Not super applicable for him, but the knights did have a good internal education.

He does. Fitz’ll usually keep his mind occupied when he’s resting his body, and likes logic puzzles and games as well as reading fiction and nonfiction.

No to all three. Fitz has a good memory and it more of a spatial learner, but he can get aggitated if he feels like he’s being judged.

The brick house, a communal living thingy. That was our first arc lol.

he’d be a fucking mess if he lived alone at this point, but he’d eventually learn how to keep his space clean. He’d prefer it that way, but it’s something he’d have to learn.

If he can’t figure out how to fix something by looking at it, he can’t. He doesnt’ have much experience needing to, though.

Enough to ensure room and board. He was a guard, is now resting on his ill gotten gains. He likes being busy

It was a knight, but he doesn’t know now

Fitz would consider swords and sex art, and he’d agree that he’s pretty good at both.

Fitz likes tending animals like horses (and enjoys writing) and playing games like cards, chess and other strategy things. He also enjoys physically activities (sword training, fighting, sparring, sex, etc)

Fitz is to his knowledge an only child. His mother is dead, he never knew anything about his biological father, and his stepfather that adopted him was Not Nice

That’s a really tricky question. Fitz wouldn’t know who he was if he wished away what hurt growing up. He’s not quite at peace with it, but I think he’s getting to the point where he wants to move on more than he wants to forget. It’s a long proccess

Fitz doesn’t really know “romance” vs “sex” really well. He would just say he’s into everything, but he’s quoiromantic and quoisexual. It wasn’t a point of stress, but he has wondered how abuse has shaped his sexuality, though he resents the idea that that’d be wrong. 

Is your OC a thoughtful partner, in whatever aspect of that you want to cover?

Fitz is incredibly proud of giving his partner pleasure

Does your OC believe there’s only one ideal partner (or multiple ideal if not monogamous) for everyone, or that there are many people who could be right? Fitz isn’t even sure that one person could be right, but he doesn’t really think about it.

He doesn’t eat veal or lamb cos he thinks it’s too sad, but he also thinks that not eating meat isn’t a really viable option for people most of the time.

They can follow directions, but he doens’t know how otherwise

Fitz comes from a monarchy. He doesn’t really see much of a choice.
