On the second day after zombies start overtaking the city, Etho and Bdubs drive down the Trans-Canada Highway in hopes of reaching a safe zone or launch site. Along the way, they stop to check out an abandoned apartment complex.

Inside, a group of raiders have made a home. While trying to escape the dark halls, the pair get separated. When Etho tries to quietly get Bdubs' attention by tapping him on the shoulder, Bdubs whips around and takes a swing at him with a knife.

There are no hard feelings on Etho's end about the event. He just views it as an unfortunate accident. He has a blurry spot in his vision, but he's mostly adjusted to it by this point. The only time it becomes a real problem is when he's in a poorly lit area and not paying attention to his surroundings.

Bdubs on the other hand feels like he's going to have to spend the rest of his life making it up to Etho. He semi frequently 'jokes' that if Etho wants, he can take a swing at him and make it even. Etho would never, but the offer is on the table.
