Growing up in the orphanage since you were a baby, you have half given up on the idea of being adopted.

So the fact that a kind woman-- a duchess no less, adopted you was a surprise you never saw coming.

But you were grateful for your new life and the woman you now call your mother for this second chance.

Coming from rock bottom yourself, you and the duchess worked hard with foundations and charities for the poor and unfortunate, even if it meant scandals and rumors circling around you and your new family.

However, your new title didn't mean anything to other noble kids.

You were scrutinized and avoided like a plague by other noble families.

This didn't come as a surprise, but it was still uncomfortable attending balls and having everyone stay five feet away from you, spreading rumors about you being riddled with disease.

The duchess defended you, saying despite not being bound by blood, you were her child through and through and a noble.

Unfortunately, her words only fell on deaf ears.

Not that you mind, knowing firsthand how the rich treat the poor on the streets.

Worried about you feeling lonely, your mother tried to make friends with other fellow mothers and set up a playdate or tea parties, rich or poor.

Even when you tried to play nice with other nobles, as suggested by the duchess, the noble kids didn't give you a chance.

It also didn't help with their mothers calling your mother a hedge creeper, wagtail, or their husband's mistress.

To say you were banned from a couple of tea parties was an understatement.

However, hearing Lord Moriarty also adopted kids, the duchess wasted no time setting up a playdate for you.

Albert James Moriarty

You two have actually met before during a party.

Granted, scaring the kids who threw rocks at you to run into a thorny rose bush was not the best first impression, but it did make quite an impact on him.

He found you in the gardens, admiring the flowers, when a group of kids thought it would be funny to throw rocks at you.

He was about to tell off the kids until one threw a rock especially hard, making you fall on your face.

Snapping, you decided to play along with their accusations of you being diseased.

A limp in your step, hoarse voice, reaching out your arms to them as you chased them through the gardens and made them run through a thorny bush, making you smile in triumph.

Albert saw the whole thing, hiding a smile behind his hand as he watched you dust yourself off.

He was about to introduce himself to you until he saw your forehead bleeding and led you back inside to treat your wound.

It may not have been the best way, but hey! You made a friend!

Ever since that day, you would always look for Albert and follow him around for the rest of the gathering.

You knew his mother hated you, and his brother saw you as an insect. But you just completely ignore them and talk to Albert, making the two furious.

He taught you the etiquette needed to see in nobles and even the dances for different music.

If you two weren't outside avoiding the party, you two were talking and eating in the corner off in your own world.

Because of this, some noble kids started trying to get close to you to reach Albert or just hate your complete existence.

Despite all this, you kept hanging out with Albert unapologetically, seeing he was as lonely as you were in this rich man's world.

NOW while he only saw you as a good friend, Albert knew he wanted to stay by your side as long as he could.

Sneaking out of parties, knowing looks, and inside jokes the two of you only knew were some of his treasured memories.

However, he also knew the judging stares of other nobles, saying you weren't supposed to be here.

He tried to step away, hoping you would be safer if you had some distance, but he would always find you within arm's reach.

You kept smiling and being yourself despite everyone around you waiting for one mistake to drag you down.

You were the only one who was a genuine friend to him, wanting nothing in return but his company.

While you were rough around the edges as a noble, you were a gem as a person, always lending a helping hand to those in need.

You were also the only one who would accompany him during his trips to the orphanages or outreach programs.

He would even catch you volunteering, hosting charities, or helping others with your own pocket money.

So when he saw you jumping into traffic to save a child, tattering your outfit in the process but smiling in relief to see the child was safe, he knew he couldn't let you go.

William James Moriarty

The first time you heard about William was from Albert about how he met a genius orphan who knew how to read advanced books at a young age and even gave advice to adults despite being a child.

And now, here you were on a playdate with him and his younger brother.

You tried getting close to the two, seeing how Albert praised them and wanted to get to know them better.

But you couldn't help but notice an invisible wall around the two brothers. Especially William.

While William was friendly from the start, you noticed something lurking behind his smile.

This didn't stop you from trying to be friends with them, though.

Relying on Albert's stories (and Albert himself), you tried getting close to William through his intellect.

Reading books together, visiting museums and art galleries, going to the public library, even showing him your own textbooks from your school.

His teasing you for your wrong answers was not welcomed, though.

Whenever you would ask him something, no matter how absurd, he always entertained you and gave you an answer.

During your talks, you would always have tea and snacks ready, considering how some of them would last for hours.

Slowly, William started to make the first move and approach you.

Offering to teach you lessons you found difficult, offering a tea party, or suggesting somewhere new for you four to visit.

Despite noticing the distance between you two getting smaller, you could still feel the invisible wall between you.

However, this didn't stop you from befriending the boy and treating him like the kid he was.

When he first met you, he thought you were only interesting, seeing as you were the reason he and Louis got adopted in the first place.

When he would approach you, it was only to feed your curiosity, seeing as you had a lot of questions about different things.

He would always give you an answer, watching your expression change as you listen to him.

Slowly, he started enjoying talking to you, amused at how you would find interest in the most bizarre things, ranging from random trivia to high-level knowledge.

That was until he found out you were asking for advice on how to put on successful charities and programs to help people.

When you revealed to him your plans to make a hospital for the impaired, you were proud of yourself for surprising the boy.

Even more when you told him you'd make sure to give him the recognition he deserved.

Considering how his intellect was only used for simple things such as growing flowers or for schemes like robbing a bank, you were a refreshing change of pace.

Now whenever you would ask him something, he would try to guess what you had planned through your questions, sometimes even teasing you when he got it right (which was all the time).

It became a little game between you two, one which he would look forward to and catch himself smiling at the sight of you.

Louis James Moriarty

Louis was the hardest one to become friends with.

He never left William's side and would keep his eyes on you.

Whenever you tried to talk to Louis, he only gave you short answers.

However, this didn't faze you as you kept trying to find a middle ground.

Not surprisingly, he would liven up whenever you would mention or compliment William.

Much to the boy's dismay, who is usually no farther than three feet away from you both.

Considering he had heart surgery, you tried to be considerate and only hang out at the Moriarty manor to spend time with him.

This was how you found out how he was treated by the staff.

While the butler treated you better for being a guest, you didn't excuse his treatment of Louis.

Now, you always help Louis with his chores and glare at the butler whenever Louis mentions the things he made him do.

One day, you offhanded mentioned how strong Louis must have been, going through everything he had.

Surprised by the sudden compliment, he mutters how untrue it was and what a burden he was to his brother.

This made you shower him with praise, saying he should be more confident in himself.

After that, Louis started warming up to you. Even greeting you as soon as you arrive with a smile on his face.

You may have bragged to Albert about being the first one to befriend Louis out of you two. 

At first, he was wary of you. Despite knowing you were also adopted, he didn't trust you.

But you would always make an effort to get to know Louis, even doing chores with him and defending him whenever you visit.

You never looked at him with pity and treated him just like another kid.

Whenever you and his brothers would play, you would always invite Louis and even pull him along, whether it was just hanging out in the manor or visiting some exotic spot in the city.

You would always listen and pay attention to him, making sure he was heard and seen by others whenever he spoke up.

And whenever he spoke ill of himself, you try to boost his confidence and point out his good points with clear eyes.

So when you called him strong and said how much he meant to you and his brothers, he knew you weren't lying.

Slowly, Louis started warming up to you and even clinging to you, which didn't go unnoticed by you three.

You may have cried tears of joy while William and Albert clapped for you.

Now, he considers you one of his trusted confidants and was always the first to greet you, even preparing your favorite tea and snacks in advance for your visits.

it was 10:36pm and you wouldn’t let jack go to sleep because he kept telling you “no” a word you were rarely told and hated being told.

“BABY??” jack yelled out to you of course you ignored him and would answer him when you spit out the toothpaste in your mouth.

jack came running up the stairs with his hands behind his back “baby i got you something as an im sorry gift!” jack heard the water of the sink running so he went to the bathroom and seen you rinsing out your mouth with some water. you spit the water out your mouth and turned to face jack

“what” jack looked at you smiling ear to ear taking is hands behind his back pulling out a tiny brown poodle.

“H MY GOD JACKK!” you took the poodle out his hand putting him in your hands and petting him talking in the baby voice.

you took louis everywhere with you since you got him, in the car, in the bed, on the sofa, thats when jack realized his spot was really up. you were letting a dog on the sofa and bed when you wouldn’t even let jack on the bed or sofa when he was sweaty.

of course the dog slept with you both two making jack extra jealous but jack grew to love louis, even letting him sit on his lap, which was a big improvement being as though jack used to dislike any animal.

When TK’s body stopped shaking, when the sobs faded into sniffles and he snuggled a little closer, Carlos pulled back so he could wipe TK’s face with the sleeve of his sweater.

“Carlos, don’t I’m gross.”

“You’re not gross, you’re never gross.”

He sniffled loudly. “Sometimes I’m gross.”

“Hmm,” Carlos said, patting softly at TK’s cheeks with his sleeve again. “You’re never gross to me, TK.”

TK sighed sweetly, resting his cheek on Carlos’s strong shoulder. Carlos kissed his head and he felt at once overcome by another wave of emotion. This time guilt. He hated being such a burden on Carlos. Waking him up at 3 am just to have to hold a shaky, snotty TK on the cold, concrete kitchen floor. “I’m sorry,” he whispered, fresh tears beginning to cascade down his cheeks.

“Oh, hey. Hey, baby,” Carlos soothed, pulling TK that much tighter. “Don’t be sorry. Why are you sorry?”

“I feel like you always have to take care of me.”

TK felt Carlos’s body shake in gentle laughter. “Baby are you kidding?”

TK responded with another big sniffle.

“Tyler, we take care of each other. Just this morning you made me breakfast and—”

“Yeah but anybody could do that for you.”

Carlos’s eyes shined bright in the soft light from the street lamps outside, it crept into the loft through the kitchen window, filtered through the leaves of the tree just outside, and painted him in a soft golden glow. The light caught the tips of his curls in such a way that, through the tears in TK’s eyes, he looked like he wore a gorgeous glowing halo. It suited him.

“First of all, I love taking care of you, baby.” Carlos continued. “Second, you take care of me all the time.”

TK sniffled again. “I do?”

“‘Fraid so.”

“You mean with sex?”

okay so now that i’ve had a minute(and smoked some weed) i want to talk about lestat and what just clicked to me as the weed hit

okay so to start i want to make sure this is not read as apologizing or excusing what lestat did, i am simply explaining how i interpreted why he did what he did because this is not the time for lestat apologists to “uwu my baby didn’t mean it” this shit and if y’all do y’all weird asl…anyways on to my analysis(is that what this is??)

so my friend has said before she’s a very emotional person and when people hurt her feelings she’s said that she wants to physically hurt them the way they hurt her emotionally so they know how she feels and that immediately came to me as i was smoking and thought about how far lestat went when he was beating louis

to me it came off as, like my friend has said, he saw louis choosing claudia over him and then he desperately screams “louis!” and he lashed out on claudia for trying to take louis away, but then louis jumped on him and i think if we could’ve seen his face when it happened it would’ve been one of surprise and hurt that louis would do that right??

okay, so then he’s telling louis that he’s trying to hold back, but then he gives in and beats the shit out of him and idk it just came to as he was trying to hurt louis as much as he physically could to make louis feel like he felt emotionally

then when they flew up and lestat told louis to tell him that he’ll never love him and said that it would “make it easier”, he’s so used to people leaving him that he believes louis doesn’t love him and wants to hear it from his mouth so that he can “let him go” now do i think he would’ve actually killed louis?? nah, that man is down bad for louis, but do i think he would’ve let louis die?? yeah🤷🏽 he was so hurt and distraught that he would lose louis to claudia that he probably would’ve let it happen and then felt guilty about it later

also for everyone who thinks he doesn’t, louis does love lestat it’s fucking obvious but they don’t love the same way and that’s where the problem comes from between them, lestat fell in love with louis as soon as he met him but louis had been still learning to love lestat when claudia left and it doesn’t make it any better that they’re horrible at communicating their feelings with each other, louis doesn’t like being vulnerable and neither does lestat and they show it differently

louis will let himself get consumed by whatever is troubling him and lestat will try to do anything to ignore his problems, so basically a match made in hell cause they’re never going to learn how to love each other the right way if they don’t let themselves be vulnerable

also want to touch upon him and antoinette cause🤦🏽that mf never learns…i understand that he wanted sex or just non-sexual intimacy and he should’ve communicated that(ik his bitch ass would never) but cheating?? all of y’all that wanted to press “louis hooking up with jonah was worse cause he used to have feelings for him yadayadayada” can now pipe down and for the record it’s weird that y’all want to say what louis did was worse like lestat didn’t cheat on louis in his face in their house BEFORE proposing an open relationship🤦🏽 but whatever

skskksks I don't worry about it, and you're not reading too much into it, the details are a little vague when it comes to the timeline. So let me just lay it all out for everyone.

Farrah and Louis had been in a sexual relationship since Louis was a teenager and even before that, they were childhood friends. At one point, Louis wanted to marry her, but that wasn't possible given Farrah's background and, to be blunt, her ethnicity. So, Louis instead sought out Irene, the daughter of a wealthy aristocratic family. She was the textbook royal bride.

While Louis at first stayed faithful, he began seeing Farrah again in 1970. Irene knew about the affair and it was a pretty open secret among the upper classes. She was encouraged to just "look the other way" and that's what she did. She was under the impression that Louis would leave Farrah once they started having children. However, after her eldest two children came along, she realized that this wasn't the case. It was during the late 70s that she began losing her tolerance for the affair. She was pregnant with Phillip when Farrahgate happened in 1980.

Star of the night

/reader’s pov/

It was such a beautiful day i wore my pants and my white t-shirt, Louis and I came to store to buy something for dinner. Of course when we were in the store i didn’t get much attention of guys and that’s good for me, I have my boys and I don’t need someone else. But girls always had something to tell me.

“Lord Louis how are you”, one lady said.

“Oh Lady Anita, pleasure to see you Im good how are you?”, Louis said.

“Im good how are you?” She asked and grabbed his hand.

As they were chatting and everything i saw that Louis never put Anita’s hand away from his. Does he likes her? Is it because she is more in dresses unlike me?

“Am we are in hurry Lady Anita but it was lovely to see you”, I said and took Louis’s hand and went out.

We were driving to mansion and i was still thinking about that in shop.

“I don’t like her baby, and no Im not lying you are beautiful the way you are”, I looked at him and saw that sweet smile he had.

I just smiled at him and got out from carriage because we got to mansion. As we entered the house William was heading downstairs.

“Sweetheart what a pleasure to see you earlier home today, but where is Louis?”, he asked and than Louis got inside.

I kissed other brother and got myself to kitchen. I wanted to bake something because it will help me for my mind.

As i was preparing cookies i felt someone running to me. He got me in the air and kissed me.

“Hahhaa when will you stop doing this?” I asked the oldest brother.

“Never”, Albert said.

He sat on chair we had in kitchen and looked at cookies.

“Don’t you dare to take one before I finish”, I said.

He looked like one little angry baby. So cute.

“Alright, alright. Lady Anita invited us to her party and asked if you can bake a cake for the party”, he said.

“Yeah I can do it, but i don’t have any beautiful dress to wear”.

“Babe you are beautiful in pants too. Wear what you want not what people want”, he said and kissed me.

I smiled and got back to bake cookies and to see what cake i will backe for Lady Anita.

/time of party/

“Have you seen (name)-chan?” Louis asked.

Other Moriarty brothers looked at him and shook there heads as no. At that time Lady Anita came to them in her beautiful rose gold dress.

“Moriarty brothers, It’s pleasure to see you all here, but where is (name)-chan. I wanted her to be a star of the night”, she said and had little smirk on her face.

“She should be here any minute”, Albert said.

“The cake was delivered by some young man”, she said.

When brothers wanted to say something everyone were looking at the doorway. I walked in, my dress was in 3 layers and 3 colors. Light blue was first layer, than red and than emerald green. Each color was for each brother. I walked to them.

“Good evening everyone. Lady Anita my pleasure to be here tonight”, I said.

I could see jealousy in her eyes, but last thing that was said to her for the night was by William.

“You were right miss Anita, our (name) will be the star of the party”, he said with smirk on his face.

She just went back to her friends and only thing I will say is the night was magical, because of my precious lovers.

This lil smutty number is from the final chapter of Where All This Love Comes From, which will be up on Sunday and I am going to cry.

"You're so good, TK! You're so good!"

"Thank you!" TK screams back, cracking into a laugh.

"I love fucking you. I love it when you're like this. I love feeling you. I love you."

"I love you too!" TK cries, wide-eyed as he looks down between them and watches Carlos quicken his thrusts.

He bends his finger.

"TK!" Carlos booms, "I'm not going come! I’m not!"

"I think you are, baby."

"Uh, babe, you brat–" Carlos chokes.

TK is smug for three seconds until the wild jolting of Carlos coming hard inside him strikes his prostate with such hammering force he screams brokenly, ejaculates all over their stomachs, and then bursts into tears.

"Baby," Carlos says, kissing his tears away. "Was it too much?"

TK nods, catching his shaky breath. Carlos gets it, because he cries sometimes from intense internal stimulation, but TK usually doesn't.

Carlos stays inside him, runs his hand through his hair, waits.

"I just can't believe it. When I think about it all. Everything that's happened. Everything I did. I feel like I don't deserve–"

"Shh, no, no!" Carlos whispers passionately, "You deserve every good thing that's ever happened you, my dude.

TK snort-laughs in Carlos' face, his eyes shining and cheeks pink as fresh tears slip heavily down into his ears. "I hate tears in my ears," he says, cutely shaking his head.

"Sorry I didn't catch those ones." Carlos brushes his fingers over TK's face as if to dry him off. He kisses his nose. "You deserve every good thing that's ever happened to you," he repeats seriously, "My husband. Come here."

TK shifts to wrap his arms around Carlos' shoulders. Carlos lies on top of him, his face in his neck. He kisses TK where his tears have streamed, tastes salt on his lips and feels his cooling come spread between them. He doesn't care if it's a little sticky, doesn't care if ordinarily he'd have got up to get a washcloth by now. It's TK's birthday, and it's chilly, and he's crying happy-sad tears, and all Carlos needs to do is warm him through with a big, long hug – his greatest power – warming him through to soul-level – and he won't stop until he’s sure he’s done his duty.
