It's like a new muppet or something: Chest Monster. It lives on his chest and just kinda hangs out on the edge of his collar. Kinda like how you never saw Oscar the Grouch out of his trash can? This thing has a life of its own. Not quite as angry as Oscar the Grouch, but definitely cantankerous, it likes to tell dirty jokes and wave it's many hairy appendages around.

It refuses to be contained by any shirt. It fears clippers the way the Wicked Witch feared water. But if it is clipped, it just grows back thicker and more lush.

Earlier today I mentioned I just started taking meds for depression and anxiety to a coworker.. because fuck it and I don't really hide that I'm mentally ill, but I am kinda good at masking how bad it is in my head at work... and now, a few hours later, they sent me a text offering help, like talking about it or whatever...

AND WHYY WAS MY FIRST REACTION TO CACKLE LOUDLY?!!!!!! 💀💀💀

I've been dealing with depression for so long I just laugh at it....

It's very sweet and a nice offer, but duuuude no, you're not ready for that conversation
