Currently picturing Steve enabling wannabe rockstar Eddie and when they do little shows he helps him with the eyeliner and makeup and maybe a little glitter and tells him how sexy and metal he looks. When they take off he gets his own makeup person and Steve still always tells him how hot he looks before and after the shows.

CC is doing a big reunion tour and they’re doing an interview and the interviewer shows them old ass pics of their old shows and Eddie’s eyes bug out of his head and he’s like ‘y’all let me go out there like this?!’

And they’re like ‘yeah Steve would do your makeup and you were so stupid in love you couldn’t see that he did a terrible job.’

And he gets all doe eyed like he’s remembering when Steve would do his makeup and says ‘well I don’t think it’s that bad… It’s the thought that counts!’

I spent the last couple days rewatching SOTUS since the first time I watched it years ago

And honestly, I may like it more now than I did and I liked it a lot back then. I kno people have issues with it and I get those and understand them

I'm sorry but what? The reason Sicarius got overlooked for Captain of the 8th was that he got promoted to 5th instead. That is literally the plot to Blades of Damocles.

The person who wrote this entire article has zero clue about Ultramarine lore or what makes them cool. The cool thing about Ultras is the fact that they are actual space Romans, politicians first, warriors second.

Why destroy 20+ years of interconnected plots and intrigue for this? (am I surprised? Not really, not after them just killing off almost all of the captains off screan without an explanation or fanfare. But Im still allowed to be upset)

Also this is so fucking stupid. Sicarius had been captain for less then 3 years when the first Tyrannic war happened. Why would he feel overlooked? He is very happy to be with the 5th. Perhaps Ideaus or Ardias would have felt overlooked, but this new guy? No 😂

And the complete assassination of Marneus Calgar here is shocking. I know at least two short stories where he outright executes Inquisitors that as much as slanders Ultramar.

If you wanted to add Titus to the lore in a fateful way, either put him before Agemman, but if that fucks too much with the timeline, put Titus before/after Captain Pythea.

We know Sicarius took a sabbatical from his captaincy during/right before Uriel Ventris exile. We have never gotten an explanation why, would this not have been an excellent spot to place him?

This retcon is just plain lazy. I thought the Pythea retcon was stupid, but at least that one was plausable, this is just stupid.

he does't have to say those actual three words for her or for anyone to know it, it's already irrefutably conveyed through his actions --- every miniscule effort to put her first and the extremely evident frustration and fear that lies within his words everytime he's upset when they discuss other additional possible threats to her safety, like it's such such such a difficult topic for him. even the mere thought of just having to discuss any possible harm directed towards you is enough to make his emotions go haywire. everything about him screans that he is genuinely convinced that his world would literally crumble if you slip away from him and that he would absolutely die.

im writing this as i rewatch the episode again with much more attention and i give yall all the little details to look for (in chronological order, im literally pausing the episode as i go to write this down)

- on lestats first appearance, he holds a blue book (from what i read basically a register of all the prostitutes in the district)

- when paul arrives he tells louis the birds told him to come "but also one voice" and then louis cuts him off, i believe that voice is lestat (he appears on screan a few seconds later

- the mayfair reference at the diner table during breakfast

- he refers to his homosexuality before we even see lestat (when he arrives after going to church with his brother)

- the sazerac (the drink louis orders) is a classic new orleans' cocktail and is said to embody it's richness very well, started getting popular in the 1800's and then some more in the beginning of the 1900's

- the whole "your name is louis, of course it's louis" because lestat is french (although there might be something deeper than that but idk, im thinking it's because it's the name of the king from the time lestat was around in france (louis xvi) but it seems far-fetched, any thoughts?)

- when he talks about settling there, he looks at miss lily and goes "but there's the food" aka im a vampire (not very hard to tell but i thought id add it to the list) also can we appreciate louis' face during that interaction he seems so done

- lestat wanted to go to st louis at first (maybe thats way the whole name thing) which was one of the most developed cities in america at that time

- at the poker table they mention the murders take place near decatur, which is a street where there was a shooting (in 1910). from what i read the whole thing was discriminatory and there was like a strong anti-immigrant sentiment and everything

- the black star line (the company on the tickets louis gives his sister) is a black led company that was made to encourage black people to participate in the economy as they were often left out (from what im reading it was mostly a shipping company so im confused about that one but yeah), apparently it started in 1919 so im also confused about that

- im so so glad paul didnt die after an argument and instead sort of made peace with louis (although it took me by surprise since i was expecting a fight)

- "lily was a poor substitute" aka he killed her

- not a detail but can we talk about jacob anderson's acting in little confession box thingy (i dont know the term) because DAMN that man is talented

- "i give death to those deserving" aka lestat being lestat and only killing the bad people (although i dont believe lily deserved it)

- lestat's pupils stop being dilated when he gives his little speech to louis meaning he doesnt talk like that out of hunger/arousal but out of desperation/love

- louis' complexion goes grayish when he's drained of blood but it comes back

- lestat is missing a nail when he's down on the floor with his hand on his stomach (that's not important for the plot i just found it funny)

i got the good ending bc i was following a guide bc i Cannot stand full screan surprises n the guide was good but the one (1) thing it doesnt remind u to do daily is water Basils plants. so. im doing all of that again now

i love the fucking characters in the game theyre all so neat n alive. i keep wanting to say im attached to someone specific but im having a hard time picking favorites theyre all so Good

theres a lot like a Lot of instances where Kel is hinted at being the lesser sibling and just the least important out of his friend group and its only really stated in an obvious kinda way once n like. he seems totally fine most of the time and he doesnt seem down often or for long at all in unrelated moments but for these he doesnt seem to even acknowledge it. and of course the others dont seem to think of him as less important which is Good but does he like. have a problem with this. i wanna say hes hiding it but i dont Know bc hes fucking good at it. i might make a whole post on this later actually

seeing Hero cry hurt more than i thought it would and seeing him jump right back to smiling seconds later every time made it Worse. its the older sibling thing

one detail i really like is that while some of the scenes are meant to be funny to the audience, Hero's fear of spiders isnt usually made fun of (the only time i can remember is when Mari apparently snuck bugs into his desk to see his reaction lmao). otherwise hes taken seriously and the others try to push him to overcome it someday, not Now but its something he should work on himself. and the bit w Kel removing a spider from their room, all while saying what hes doing exactly and reassuring Hero that the spider was gone, was a sweet thing to see compared to all the other media where siblings would throw it at the other or something yknow its just nice

the real world sections of omori feel less like im playing as Sunny and more like im guiding this child in a gentle but assertive manner to Do Shit. like ok kiddo brush ur teeth and then we're gonna go outside today. yes its good for u trust me ive been there anyway ur buddy is at the door, go have fun!! oh btw i found some parents who will literally pay u to help their kids with homework. yes ur doing that. its free money dude cmon

showing all the different ways the kids reacted to grief and trauma and acknowledging that some were more harmful to themself or others and thats just how people work sometimes n they all make amends n agree to support each other in the end and begin to heal despite it all. h

also the moment that i realized the dream world was in fact a dream world made by Sunny and. everything it represents. his desires. his fears. dude

Oita is now over. It was the best, totally a blast.

When I saw the venue, I was like "omg so tiny!” and it actually was when I got in. It looked totally as it is was an european venue. The stage so was soooo low and the barrier was so close to the stage that when the came out they were super closer. The stage was so small that even if I was in front of Toshiya, Kyo was in my sight, Kaoru as well. When they came out, I had a bad feeling. Toshiya and Kyo looked somehow moody and I got a bit tense. I cant explain it, it was just that feeling, like they werent in good mood. They started with "the fatal believer" and it was epic, probably  the most powerful start of all the shows from this tour for me. I teamed up with two japanese girls (later more lol) and we were screaming "toshiyaaa toshiyaa" in all parts when it was time to scream. In one he got so pumped, that started pointing at us while with his hand he asked for more screaming. And we did. I literally screamed out my lungs out.  In "repetition of hatred" again the parts that we have to sing and the part we sing along with Toshiya was amazing. The energy was even painful lol. In Namameshiki and conceived it got very emotional. Toshiya crossed himself at some point and sang the lyrics sooo emotional that it was amazing. "Grief" was intense as always, Toshiya came closer the stage to give us the finger and the people did it back to him, at some point he switched places with Die and Die did the same lol Then "Maggots" came and man, it was so fucking intense. The singing, the music, the crowd..... Toshiya at some point slipped and fell, it was so "omg wat happened" but he got up fast laughing as if nothing had happened. Someone from the crew asked him if he was ok and nodded politely. Kyo said "last song" before the last song of the main set and it was "Revelation"....I really needed the encore time to recover cause even if I wasnt so tired and the crowd wasnt as packed as Shinkiba, I need a break to recover. The encore started with "byou shin" and then "karma", kyo came out with no make up and his face looked so relaxed and pleased, cheering the crowd asking for more. Lots of "are you still alive" "more" "otoko" and "onna".... at some point he was like "are you aliveeee" "I cant hear you at all" and we were screaming like if our lives depended on it lol. "Clever" came too, and same. Singing "under the name of the justice".....the crowd really was awesome. Even if the venue was tiny it felt like a huge hall xD Utafumi and "un deux" were the last songs, and I was really like "please 2/3 songs more" even if I could barely feel my arms or feet xd People pushed to get closer the stage but it didnt even hurt, I should have been totally in trance. So in the end,  after the throwing picks and so ritual, Die came to the mic and said "Oita, the weather is always horrible (last time they played here there was a typhon and today there was strong rain) but it was fun, with this humidity my hair looks....we will back, Oita" and the whole venue screamed. Oh, when Toshiya gave out the beer bottle, it fell and got broken, Toshiya kneeled and was so sorry, first to the people who almost got it and then to the staff asking them to clean it. It was so good. Sad for not being able to go to Okinawa but it was the best last show ever. Thank you!  Marrow is the best ;) random stuff Kaoru make up is already in most of his face. Its so cool cause he just does one side so it looks like if he had an evil side or a side infected by something lol At some random point in the middle of the set he simply opened a bottle and start throwing water, dont know if he thought he needed it. Also it was funny cause as the stage was so small, in the break parts he was so close to the crowd that he tried to avoid eye contact and was like playing with his fingre. Something was bothering Die at his back, he was doing small jumps trying to adjust it several times, maybe it was part of the gear....

Toshiya being Toshiya, thats all :) Im so happy he enjoyed the super attention he got tonight xd Shinya was the one I could see the least, so I cant actually say anything more that when he came to throw goods and the stuff. And Kyo, well he looked pleased tonight so Im glad in the end it was a good live for them too. Kyo screaning "Oiiiiiiita" was dope. So, Mode of marrow is over for mebut was worth every penny. Im gonna miss the album played lived and gonna miss them until I can figure out a next tour. Thank you :)
