If any of you are considering buying tickets to Ethan’s tour, DO IT. I promise you won’t regret it!! Everybody I talked to was super nice, the show itself was AMAZING, the merch is 10/10, and it’s just an all around good time. I cannot recommend it enough!

I finally was able to finish up some art based on the I have to do this tour, I had such an amazing time at the show and met so many incredible people, I’m so happy that I was able to go.

Just went to the I Have To Do This Tour to see the internet funny man and all I have to say is that I can’t believe that even with all these people having proven that they like his content and sense of humor, he still feels like nothing he says actually holds weight because his fame has made them automatically cheer even if he’s shit. It’s supposed to be common knowledge that it’s because they like you that they’re cheering. If someone dislikes something you do when their expectations are this high chances are you’ll be able to sense the disappointment. It’s not that they feel like they have to cheer, it’s that they genuinely have already formed a connection with your message and your style of doing things that they’re cheering. They like you. They’re biased, yeah, but only because you’ve already shown them what you’re capable of and they love it.

I was expecting a silly funny show, and what I got was vulnerability that almost made me feel like I needed to turn away to give you privacy. But I kept watching, because I wanted to hear what you had to say and I wanted to give you what you created this show to get: A connection. I don’t care if you didn’t see me even once, my eyes were on you the whole time.

Upcoming Tour!

Everybody might know this by now since the announcement for the tour was made back in September, but Ethan is going on a nationwide tour and a few stops in Canada this upcoming March! He is going to the following places:

Ethan is not unfamiliar with being on stage and on a tour, however this is the first time that he is going on a full tour on his own. Back in 2017 and 2018, he was touring and onstage with his good friend Markiplier, called “Markiplier’s You’re Welcome Tour”. The show was a comedy/improv show with content creator, Mark Fischbach (better known as Markiplier online), as well as with Tyler Scheid, Wade Barnes, and Bob Muyskens. Ethan was a big part in the show, being as he was apart of the main cast. This time around, however, Ethan will be traveling and touring around on his own for the “I Have To Do This Show” tour for the first time. Back on November 21st, 2021, Ethan did his first show of his tour in Chicago, Illinois, to test out the show, see what the audience liked and disliked about the show, and see what he should change about the show before the opening days beginning in March. This is a huge step for the content creator, as he has mentioned many times before, this tour was put off for a couple years because he was nervous on disappointing his viewers and fans that look up to him. He mentioned in the show in November that he was not looking forward to that specific show because he was terrified of the future and what was to happen. When Ethan released the tickets for the November show last March, he did not have the slightest clue on what he was going to do for the tour, what it was going to be about, how long it was going to be, a blank piece of paper is what he had in the beginning. In the end, the show ended up being a fun musical comedy show. The show is also a phone-free environment so that the audience can be in the experience, heads not buried inside phones during the show. When you enter the venue, the attendants will have you put your cellular device inside of a Yondr pouch, which automatically locks the phone inside and the pouch will be given to you to hold during the show. In case of an emergency, attendants will unlock your phone, but you would have to use the device in a designated area, or outside. Fans were incredibly proud after his first incredible show and are excited to see how Ethan might change it up in the future shows.
