Got an anon ask ‘who my least fav turtle is if Leo is my favourite’ and it made me realise I don’t draw my ACTUAL favourite turtle enough, so it might really look like that 😤

I wanted to doodles just the three recent ones but my brain went brrr, and my hand slipped and kept slipping until I got the whole orange fam (could probably still add a few more, maybe later). Anyway, MIKEY SUPREMACY ✨🧡🍊💪 (I love them all but he has a very special place in my heart).

I’ve been so excited to share my piece for @turtlestogetherzine 🌟✨ I knew I wanted to draw something peaceful and domestic for the idw turtles because they’re especially going through it. Can you see the tiny references to other iterations? (Some are buried in there hehe)

This piece really challenged me as an artist, and I learned a lot through trial and error. I’m still so mind blown that I was a part of this project in the first place and that some of you out there have our art in your own homes. Thank you all for your support and love for the turtles!

I got to work with amazing and passionate people that inspire me so much. I’m so grateful to them and especially Mini!! You put your heart and soul into this thank you for everything 💙❤️🧡💜💛🩷

I’m so indecisive about who the best Mikey is all of time because he’s such a lovable character, he was the first character I ever paid attention to while first watching tmnt, I could never dislike a Mikey from any iteration.

If I had to, Mikey from rottmnt and idw are playing tug of war in my mind for first place. They both have the same theme of yeah I’m kind, lighthearted, a goofball, sensitive and considerate but I won’t hesitate to call you out and fight against you if you’re doing something wrong or are in the wrong. There’s definitely a consistent theme where he’s stronger than others give him credit for and I love that trait about him and how the meaning of family is central to Mikey’s character when you think about it in the context of the last ronin especially.
